A Nigerian woman seeks the help of meaningful Nigerians after father of her three children abandoned her because his mother wants him to marry a graduate.

According to the woman, her baby father refused to get married to her because she isn’t a university graduate.

Since then, he allegedly neglected her and the kids and left only her to cater for their welfare.

Vera Onyekwere who shared the video on social media wrote;

“She seriously needs help. She gave birth to two children before the kept on treating her bad with poor feeding before then the guy stays in the parents house and later left them with his own mother

On the process he left she was already pregnant for the third one when she packed her bag back to her own parents house #note her dowry has not been paid

She sold pure water while she was pregnant at least I saw her countless time in Aba until she gave birth to the last child which is also a gal making it three gals

The guy is no where to be found the last time I saw him he came back with another woman, I don’t know what he tells them which makes them to follow him

According to her she said she’s tired and her anger is they ain’t asking of her since she left, the guy don’t call or send money for them, the family of the guy don’t care etc

The family of the guy has refused to open the entrance door so the can take the children which laid her to break the down the door, the guys family now ganged and beat her up

For her to bring back this children she must have tried her best and she’s still a young gal barely 20 years and the family of the guy nor the guy is asking after her

Pity the children, we still have them here cos she left them with anger and they are seriously sick

Two young men identified as Biodun and Joseph have been declared wanted the Lagos state police command following the death of their boss, Alhaji Rabin Owolabi Oyenuga.

It was alleged that the Lagos Businessman was strangled to death in his home in Ikorodu in the early hours of Thursday November 5, by the suspects who are from Cotonou, Benin Republic.

Daughter of the deceased, Adetola Oyenuga said the suspects made away with the sum of N500k, phones, jewelries, among other valuables.

She said ;

“They took the ladder to pass through the ceiling and came out of the visitor’s toilet which is adjacent to my dad’s room.

“They went to his room gaged him and strangled him to death and went away with his phones, jewelries and a sum of N500k that was brought to him last night.

“They escaped through the gate and left the mask they used at the entrance. My father is very accommodating and a philanthropist. He didn’t deserve to die this way.”

There is serious outrage on Twitter after students of Abia State University ABSU were asked to pay N15,000 “Pandemic Prevention Fee”.

This comes after a new circular from the university was made public.

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has ordered the immediate removal of “pandemic prevention fee” from fees students of Abia State University are expected to pay upon resumption of academic activity in the university on Monday November 9.

Reacting to the uproar of the students, The Governor of Abia State, Ikpeazu scraps the ‘Pandemic prevention fee’ in University.

The Abia state Governor who gave the directive during a Town Hall meeting with students and management of the school on Thursday November 5, added that his government will pay N30,000 to each Abia student in the institution as further support to them, their parents and guardians.

Ikpeazu said;

“Yesterday, I had a Town Hall meeting with students and management of Abia State University where a fee of N25,000 per student was proposed as a medical fee but slashed to N15,000 to help ABSU put in place adequate measures to protect the soon to resume students from COVID-19 pandemic.

“In that same meeting, I approved immediate bursary payment to students of Abia origin in ABSU, to alleviate impact of COVID-19 on them & enable them meet the medical fee obligations with ease.

“However, after a deep review of the agreement & its likely effect on all the students & their parents, I’ve directed the immediate scrapping of the “pandemic prevention fee” by school management.

“Our government will now go ahead to pay N30,000 to each Abia student in the institution as further support to them, their parents and guardians in this very difficult moment of economic downturn caused by the global health crisis.

”Let me also add that we are proud of the progress made by the institution in the past 5 years and will continue to support them.”

A Nigerian man has taken to micro-blogging platform, Twitter to advise men to stop giving women money, stating that it a form of patriarchy.

According to the man with handle @oloye__ , giving money is a form of toxic patriarchy and an act of aggression against women that serves to keep them dependent on men.

Speaking further, he stressed the need for women to make their own money and spend it however they want.

He made the comment in reaction to a tweet from another user who said men should give women money for their hair.

“This is toxic patriarchy. STOP GIVING WOMEN MONEY

“Giving women money is an act of aggression against women that is perpetuated by the hetero-normative patriarchal hegemony. It serves to keep women dependent on men.

“Women should make their money and spend it however they want.” he replied to a tweet calling on men to give women money.

A Nigerian Twitter user took to his page to share the screenshot of the credit alert a lady got which had the question “Will you be my girlfriend Bisi?” as its narration for the transaction.

The user, @Dhotun shared the screenshot to ask the ladies on his timeline if they’ll say yes to the gentleman, identified as Tobiloba William Adeleke’s advances.

His tweet has sparked a stir online with a lot of ladies saying they wish they’d be asked out like that even though some of them will actually accept the money and still give him a negative answer.

A young Nigerian man identified as Wali Stephen has mysteriously died exactly seven days to his wedding in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

It was gathered that the 28-year-old died on Saturday, October 31, 2020.

According to a friend, Engr Prince Chukwu, the deceased was hale not sick and was set to wed on Saturday, November 7, 2020.

“He was not sick. His wedding is supposed to be next week Saturday. Stephen died like that,” he said in response to an enquiry over what happened to Stephen.

“May your killers never find rest till eternity! Rest in peace comrade. Your wedding is supposed to be next week Saturday.”
