Nigerian female disc jockey, DJ Cuppy has dispelled the notions that her billionaire dad, Femi Otedola opened doors for her success.

The singer who alongside her sisters was gifted a Ferrari worth over 80 million naira by dad was a guest on the Youtube Week held virtually where she spoke on different topics about music. Cuppy spoke on major principles that has helped her achieve success so far.

According to her, the belief that her Father’s connection made her popular is not in its entirety true. The “Orignal Copy” crooner said that even with her Father’s connection she still had to work hard on her own part to make it work out.

She further revealed that she had lost opportunities simply because she was not prepared or didn’t make proper use of them.

She added that she has a lot of opportunities but her hard work, determination, and business style took her to where she is.

She advised that one should just depend on connections but also try to be prepared, hone their skills, and deliver a standard service.

Cuppy said that no matter how many doors open for you, only your skill and delivery can keep you in those doors.

Taking her Instagram page, she wrote: ”Some people say my success is solely due to the doors my dad opened for me… I beg to differ’

APC Suspends Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi

The leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ekiti state faction has suspended the Governor of the state, Kayode Fayemi.

A statement released by the party led by Senator Tony Adeniyi, said the governor was suspended due to “his numerous anti-party activities, especially his role in the recently concluded governorship election in Edo State which is contrary to the provisions of Article 21 (A) (ii) of the APC Constitution.”

According to the statement, five days before the Edo Election, Gov Fayemi hosted PDP big wig, Femi Fani- Kayode in the government house in Ado Ekiti, and planned a coup against Edo APC.

The statement in part,

That Dr. Kayode Fayemi, the Executive Governor of Ekiti State is hereby suspended from the Party in view of his numerous anti-party activities especially his role in the recent concluded governorship election in Edo State which is contrary to the provisions of Article 21 (A) (ii) of the APC Constitution.

For five days prior to the Edo elections, Gov Fayemi hosted PDP big wig Mr. Femi Fani- Kayode in the government house in Ado Ekiti in the run-up to the Edo elections. It was here they perfected the coup against our party in Edo State. This is the same Fani-Kayode who daily abuses President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, the APC as a party as well a vital section of our country. We have evidence of that meeting.

Fani-Kayode specifically said he has gone on his tour as part of an effort between him and Fayemi to build a cross-party alliance and few hours after leaving Ekiti he fired a shot at Asiwaju Tinubu.

He was also accused of playing a role in the gubernatorial election in Oyo State and supported the PDP candidate against the APC candidate.

We also recall his role in the gubernatorial election in Oyo State where he supported the PDP candidate to defeat the APC candidate. A second tranche of money he sent to Gov Makinde in the election was intercepted by soldiers. The courier Mr Ayo Adegbite, his Chief Protocol Officer was arrested and he immediately disowned and announced his sack. Mr. Adegbite remains his aide till date.

Tee Billz, the estranged husband of popular Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage have taken to social media to brag that none of his exes have been able to replace him.

According to him, it’s “God’s flex” that he’s an irreplaceable lover.

He wrote, “None of my ex have been able to replace me! That’s God’s flex #LibraGang.”

However, Tee Billz recently credited his new woman for his life while he shared loved up photos of them together.

The artiste manager who was seen cuddling and kissing the woman in a Jacuzzi in new photos. wrote, “If grace is an ocean… then it’s you.”

Recall that Teebills’ estranged spouse, Tiwa Savage earlier this year shared her regrets in putting her private life in the public domain.

The now single mum of one, disclosed in an interview on Elle South Africa Magazine that the biggest mistake she ever did in her life was to put out her failed marriage in public.

Recall that Tiwa’s 2-year-old marriage to Tunji Balogun, aka Teebillz literally went sour after Teebillz’s rant on Instagram where she was accused of infidelity.

Praise condemned those who are fond of waiting for only the owner of the shop to give them a hair cut.

A Nigerian man has taken to Twitter to narrate how his uncle’s fiancé fled with the N2million deposited in her account to plan their wedding.

The Twitter user, Spendo Gustavo disclosed that his uncle had deposited N2million into his girlfriend’s account in preparation for their wedding.

According to him, the fiance used the money to process her visa to flee the country, adding that every means of reaching her have proved abortive.

He tweeted,

“My uncle deposited N2million into his girlfriend’s account in preparation for their marriage. The girl used the same money to process Visa and travelled out”.

This is coming after, a Twitter revealed how he devised a cunning and smart way of wriggling himself out of an expensive wedding.

According to the man known as Nwoke Agulu, his fiancee was making quite a huge financial demand for their wedding plans.

Agulu said his fiancee had demanded a total sum of N5million naira to cover their wedding cost.

N4million was meant for the wedding proper and an extra N1million to be deposited in her bank account for miscellaneous.

After seeing how the monetary expectations for the wedding plans did not sit well with him, the young man said he paid a visit to the hospital and forged an AS Genotype report and broke up with her.

Fast-rising Nigerian artiste, Lil Frosh has officially dumped Aloma’s AMW record label and joined Davido’s DMW.

According to reports this new development happened as a result of the rift between Aloma and Davido.

Lil Frosh who was formerly on a joint record deal with AMW/DMW has released an official statement via his social media page, announcing that he no longer a signee of Aloma Music Worldwide (AMW), and has now joined Davido Music Worldwide (DMW).

According to the young act, his decision to dump the record label of Aloma, Davido’s former P.A, is as a result of irreconcilable differences.

Recall that the fast-rising artiste was signed to DMW/AMW by Davido.

The deal was announced by Davido on his Instagram page just moments ago with a picture of the signing of the paper works posted on his page too.

The details of the deal was not clear though but according to what is obtainable from what we have gathered from different reliable sources in the past, Lilfrosh is signed originally under Aloma Music Worldwide (AMW), a new record label set up by one of the gang members of Davido by name Aloma.

The record label is a flagship under DMW and according to reliable reports, Davido is just trying to help nurture the ambition he has for both the boy and his own record label (AMW).

The bereaved father mentioned that he lived in the Northern part of Nigeria for years and didn’t lose a finger, only to lose his son when he returned to the South.

He also called on God to avenge his son’s death.

The father of 20-year-old singer Daniel Chibuike, popularly known as Sleek, who was shot dead by the police in Elelenwo, Port Harcourt, River State, shed tears while calling for justice for his late son.

Sleek was shot dead on Saturday, September 19, 2020, allegedly by a mobile police officer attached to De Topic supermarket, while he was being chased by SARS operatives.

Four policemen have been arrested in connection to the killing.

A man has found himself in a dilemma of sorts as his wife frowns at his job of giving body massage even though he earns N400k from it.

Akomolafe Samuel, a Facebook user and friend to the affected man, shared the story concerning his friend to seek advice and opinions from other socialites.

In the post, the man whose name was not disclosed was facing some marital problems with his wife.

The unidentified man’s wife wants him to quit the massage job which pays him over N400,000 on some occasional, he makes N40,000 on the side for what he calls “Happy Ending Massage” with female clients.

His wife, asked him to quit the job earns him between N400k to N600k monthly, or she would leave him

A young Nigerian girl ‘Trap Kween Bee’ on Facebook has cried out that she is tired of going to school and wishes to discontinue.

The teenager made this known in a post where she spoke on her plans to drop out and get a new line of work.

According to her, she intends to become a stripper when she eventually stops going to school.

She wishes to carry out this wish when lockdown placed on schools across the country is lifted.

Nigerian singer and billionaire heiress, DJ Cuppy recently took her mother on her first ride in her Ferrari which she was gifted by her billionaire dad, Femi Otedola.

The sister trio of Tolani, Ifeoluwa and Temi all got a brand new Ferrari luxurious car gift from their dad at the same time — a development that shook the Nigerian social media space following its announcement.

A body modification extremist who really wants to look like a “sinister” creature has revealed his latest transformation.

Michel Faro do Prado, 44, a tattoo artist who hails from Brazil has been undergoing a series of procedures to achieve his “sinister creature” look. In a recent development, he takes his transformation to another level by shaping his teeth into arches, removing his nose, and implanting two horns onto his head.

Michel’s wife, who specialises in body modifications reportedly helped him to achieve his new look.

According to her, he’s “only the third person in the world” to have completely removed their nose.

He previously said, “I have been a tattoo artist for 25 years, most of my tattoos I get from artists and professionals who I have paid.

“I focus on blackwork and brutal tattoos, which are types of tattoos where you ink a large part of your body.

“But my wife specialises in the area of modifications and the idea is for me to become her masterpiece when it comes to tattooing.”

According to Michel, he has a high pain tolerance and will keep enduring more discomfort to achieve his desired look.

He added,

“Actually I have a good resistance to pain, I don’t think anything is so painful.

“I suffer a lot more in the post-procedures than at the time.The truth is there are changes that without anaesthesia would be almost impossible to be done, I would love not to feel any pain.

“But if I have to feel pain, to achieve what I want, for sure I will face it.”
