A Delta State businessman identified as Elliot Lions, has publicly renounce his engagement to girlfriend via social media.
Elliot took to Facebook to announce his disengagement notice after publicly engaging his girlfriend, Success Oyoviwkose at a party.
Stating the reason the for his action simply as “abuse of engagement”, Elliot stated that he has withdrawn the engagement ring and wishes to have nothing more to do with Success.
He further warned that henceforth, no one should call or attach her name to his.
He wrote,
“Special announcement to the general public That I Elliot Ihwia have openly withdrawn my engagement ring? from Success Oyoviwkose . nor in anywhere regards her with me or call her joined my name’s any kind ???, Abuse of engagement”.

A man identified as @stalexx on twitter has recounted how police came to his house to arrest his friend because the neighbors complained about his generator.
According to stalexx, the police came to his house, arrested his friend and questions what he does for a living.
He wrote,
“So yesterday police SARS came to my house, arrested my friend and took away all my home appliances with the reason that neighborhood reported to them that I put on my generator daily so they want to know what I’m doing for a living..”

A man recently became the subject of physical assault after he was nabbed red-handed attempting to sleep with the wife of his boss.
The randy man found himself being pounced on by irate young men, while his boss’s wife fled from the scene leaving her ‘partner-in-crime’ to face the consequences of their actions alone.
In a video of the said beating which was shared online, a man seen wearing orange shirt, is said to be the one who witnessed the adulterous affair and blew the whistle.
During the assault, some of angry men reproached the employee for abusing the trust his friend and boss had for him.
Reports say the husband pleaded to have his cheating wife back despite the affair.

A man identified as Dr. Kwame Owusu Fourdjour, who has been giving out awards to celebrities and public figures while posing as an ambassador for the United Nations and Kofi Annan Foundation has been accused of being an impostor.
Dr Kwame has presented awards to a number of public figures, including rapper Sarkodie, media personality Berla Mundi, and others.
He also organized an award event on August 28 where he presented awards to people claiming the awards were on behalf of the UN.
However, a Twitter user has alleged that he’s a fake and has been exposing him on the platform.
The Twitter user with the handle @elvinnicks released photos and videos as “proof” that Dr. Kwame Owusu Fourdjour doesn’t represent the UN or the Kofi Annan Foundation and has been deceiving celebrities for his personal gain.
He also alleged that Dr. Kwame Owusu Fourdjour was arrested a while back for defrauding a bank.

A single mother of five, Dupe Alabi, who was recently apprehended after she dumped her newborn baby just after delivery in Ogbomosho, Oyo state, has given her reason why she took the drastic decision to dump her own child.
In a recent chat with BBC Yoruba, Dupe revealed that many years ago, she got “married’ to her first husband, a carpenter, with whom she had her first child. However, they had a big fight and she left the marriage when their child turned seven.
She revealed to BBC that she moved out of his house to Ogbomosho where she started working at a canteen — she said it was there she met her second husband whom she had two children for, a boy and a girl.
According to her, while she was married to her second husband, her first husband kept on coming to her, insisting she must return to him. She said she refused since she was already married to another man.
Dupe said her second husband packed out of their matrimonial home and moved in with another lady after he got wind that her first husband was making advances at her and threatening to take her back. She said her second husband left her with three children and no source of income.
Dupe who could not hold back tears said she had to return to her parents’ house with her three children and began to hawk some items just to make a living. She said her second husband refused to provide money for the upkeep of their children.
According to her, her first husband called her one day and informed her that he was willing to take her back with all her children. She told him she wouldn’t be able to come as she has nowhere to send her children from her second marriage. She said her first husband asked her not to worry and promised to take care of all three children.
The distraught mum said she returned to him and had another child for him. According to her, they had another disagreement when he asked her to return the children from her second husband to him. When the demand became too much, she moved out of his house with her four children.
Dupe said a year and a half later, her first husband called her and asked her to come and collect some money for the upkeep of his children. She went and they had sex which resulted in her fifth pregnancy. When she realized she was pregnant, she reached out to him and he denied owning the pregnancy.
Ashamed and confused as to how she would take care of five children, Dupe said it was then she made up her mind to hide her pregnancy and dump the baby when she gives birth. She said she denied her pregnancy even when people who saw her asked if she was pregnant.
On the 11th of August, when I had my baby, I did not not inform anybody. While I was having contractions, I went to the back of an abandoned building close to Akala Hospital in Oke Elerin. People go into the abandoned building to defecate and then throw it away.
That was where I stood and the baby came out. Panicking, I carried the baby and didn’t know whether it was a boy or a girl. I just carried the baby and dropped it on the floor close the hospital where the workers can see the baby.
Then I hung around to see if anybody will carry the baby and hope that nobody will guess that I was the one who dropped the child.
After the baby was carried, I left for home. At about 8pm, I returned to my house. When I greeted them in my house, the husband of the woman who brought me to where I reside, surprising asked if I wasn’t the one who gave birth and dumped the baby.
I wanted to deny but the man told me that my baby was in Akala hospital and that my mother is around and that everyone had been looking for me since morning. That was when I couldn’t say anything anymore. I began to cry and I couldn’t deny the fact that I wasn’t the one that dropped the baby there”.
The Local government chairman in Ogbomosho Central, Adeyinka Remi Oluwaseun, has taken over the upkeep of her baby and has also promised to provide her with a job within the council.

A Nigerian Twitter user identified as Adebowale Adebambo has called out members of the National Youth Service Corp over their ungrateful attitude towards President Muhammadu Buhari’s government.
According to Adebambo, it’s ungrateful for corp members to insult the government despite the president approving the continuous payment of their allowance even when they’ve not been working.
He pointed out that since February 2020, corp members have been receiving their monthly allowance without working.
Adebambo alos blasted them for taking to social media to insult Buhari.
He added that they forget the president approved the continuous payment of their allowances even though he has the power to stop payment considering the fact that work was suspended due to the lockdown.

A video showing the moment a Black man, Daniel Prude, was killed during an arrest in the United States, has sparked outrage after it was shared on the internet.
Daniel Prude, 41, died of asphyxiation after a group of police officers put a hood over his head, then pressed his face into the pavement for two minutes, according to video and records released Wednesday, September 2, by the man’s family.
Daniel Prude died March 30 after he was taken off life support, seven days after the encounter with police in Rochester that left him brain dead. His death received no public attention until Wednesday September 2, when his family held a news conference and released police body camera video and written reports they obtained through a public records request.
“I placed a phone call for my brother to get help. Not for my brother to get lynched,” Prude’s brother, Joe Prude, said at a news conference. “How did you see him and not directly say, ‘The man is defenseless, buck naked on the ground. He’s cuffed up already. Come on.’ How many more brothers gotta die for society to understand that this needs to stop?”
The tragedy began when Daniel Prude, who was coming from Chicago, arrived in Rochester for a visit with his brother. He was kicked off the train before it got to Rochester, in Depew, “due to his unruly behavior,” according to an internal affairs investigator’s report.
Rochester police officers took Prude into custody for a mental health evaluation around 7 p.m. on March 22 for suicidal thoughts — about eight hours before the encounter that led to his death. But his brother said he was only at the hospital for a few hours, according to the reports.
Police responded again after Joe Prude called 911 at about 3 a.m. to report that his brother had left his house. Daniel Prude had run naked through the streets of a western New York city.
Police responded and the videos released on Wednesday by the Prude family show what transpired then.
The videos show Prude, who had taken off his clothes, complying when police ask him to get on the ground and put his hands behind his back. Prude is agitated and shouting as he sits on the pavement in handcuffs for a few moments as a light snow falls. “Give me your gun, I need it,” he shouts.
Then, they put a white “spit hood” over his head.
One officer said that they put the hood on Prude because he was spitting continuously in the direction of officers and they were concerned about coronavirus.
Prude demands they remove the hood but they do not listen to him.
Then the officers slam Prude’s head into the street. One officer, who is white, holds his head down against the pavement with both hands, saying “calm down” and “stop spitting.” Another officer places a knee on his back.
“Trying to kill me!” Prude says, his voice becoming muffled and anguished under the hood.
“OK, stop. I need it. I need it,” the prone man begs before his shouts turn to whimpers and grunts.
The officers appear to become concerned after he stops moving, falls silent and they notice water coming out of Prude’s mouth.
“My man. You puking?” one says.
One officer notes that he’s been out, naked, in the street for some time. Another remarks, “He feels pretty cold.”
The officers then remove the hood and his handcuffs and medics can then be seen performing CPR before he’s loaded into an ambulance.
Spit hoods have been scrutinized as a factor in the deaths of several prisoners in the U.S. and other countries in recent years.
A medical examiner concluded that Prude’s death was a homicide caused by “complications of asphyxia in the setting of physical restraint.” The report lists excited delirium and acute intoxication by phencyclidine, or PCP, as contributing factors.
The city halted its investigation into Prude’s death when state Attorney General Letitia James’ office began its own investigation in April. Under New York law, deaths of unarmed people in police custody are often turned over to the attorney general’s office, rather than handled by local officials.
Letitia James said Wednesday that investigation is continuing.
Activists demanded that officers involved be prosecuted on murder charges and that they be removed from the department while the investigation proceeds.

Big Brother Naija lockdown housemate, Laycon has stated that he became a housemate of this season’s reality show to catch cruise.
Laycon said this in a private conversation with fellow housemate, Dorathy on Thursday night. He noted that at first, what was in his head was just the cruise in Big Brother’s house.
In his words,
“Me, in my head it was to come and catch cruise. The whole thing was cruise from the beginning. Clicking on that link na cruise carry me reach here. I did it because of the billboard.”
Laycon had been applauded by viewers and fellow housemates as one of the strongest contenders for the N85 million grand prize.
Meanwhile earlier this week, Laycon, Vee and Nengi won themselves 1 million naira each and an all expense paid trip to the Johnnie Walker House in Edinburgh, Scotland.
The housemates were divided into four teams which includes; Team Red Label (Lucy and Prince), Team Gold Label (Laycon, Vee and Nnegi), Team Black Label (Erica, Trikytee and Kiddwaya), and Team White Label (Ozo, Dorathy and Neo).
Layco, Nengi, and Vee belonged to Team Gold and emerged winners of the Johnnie Walker challenge.
The task was to paint a Johnnie Walker structure and they were meant to show their creativity while at it.
Their team scored 91 points to beat the other three teams.
BBNaija housemate, Lucy has revealed the reason she refused to be in the same group with Kiddwaya for the house wager task.
Recall Lucy on Thursday, caused an argument in the house after she declined to be in the same group with Kiddwaya.
She got into a shouting match with Prince and Erica who accused her of being disrespectful to the Head of House and the deputy.
However, Erica approached her on Thursday night asking why she hates to be in the same group with Kiddwaya, describing it as unfair.
Lucy explained that she refused to have Kiddwaya in her group because they failed the last time they were in the same group.

In an interview with Tooxclusive, Viktoh shared more details about his plans for the future and his music career.
According to him, his lastest song which features Zlatan took him about a year to record. He stated that he never expected the track to garner positive reviews as it is doing now. On releasing the track, he said he reached out to many big artistes to help invest and sponsor his music but he got no response.
Speaking on leaving YBNL, Viktoh said it has not been easy financially because there’s a huge difference between being under a record label and being an independent act. He disclosed that he has to sponsor himself to push his music and vowed never to release music again if he wasn’t going to get any sponsors.
He also spoke about his forthcoming EP and confirmed that it features the likes of Buju, Dremo, Zlatan, and possibly Lil Kesh. He further disclosed that he has an album that would be released after the EP.
Recall that, Samklef recently shared screenshots of chat claiming an alleged in-house Multichoice worker said Erica ingested Kiddwaya’s sperm after two hours of s3xual intercourse.

National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP officials arrested four women for allegedly selling a newborn for N1,500,000.
The women were paraded before newsmen on Thursday, September 3. According to NAPTIP officials, two of the women, Bernadette Ihezuo and Cecilia Onyema, are civil servants with the Federal Ministry of Finance Abuja, and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, respectively.
The third suspect, Okasi Ekeoma, is said to be Onyema’s sister, while the fourth suspect is the baby’s grandmother Harrieth Nmezi who resides in Imo state.
According to NAPTIP officials, the teenage girl got pregnant while staying with her mother who then took her to Onyema’s residence where she lived until she delivered her baby. Immediately after delivery, the other women took the child from the young mother and sold off the baby.
They were arrested following a tipoff received by some members of the public.
The baby has been rescued while the suspects have confessed to the crime and will be arraigned in court soon.

A Catholic priest, Fada Oluoma, of the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja has revealed that a lady’s virginity is to facilitate her relationship with God and not for her husband.
According to the priest, no man deserves a lady’s virginity, he went further to add that virginity should not be a gift to any man.
Father Oluoma, slammed parents who ignore their male children and only teach their female children how to be virgins.
He noted that one randy boy can impregnate up to 20 girls because their parents didn’t team them same thing they taught their girl child, and they will make nonsense of the lesson you have taught your girls.
Father Oluoma went further to tell ladies that no man deserves their virginity, that virginity is not a gift to their husbands.
He said,
“Parents you only teach girls to be virgins, it’s only the girl children you teach virginity.As Fr. Kelvin put it, you are teaching your daughters to be virgins, your neigbour is teaching her daughters to be virgins.
“You are not teaching your sons how to be virgins. Your neighbour’s son will begin to admire your daughter when you are not around they will mix and talk, women fall now.
“That you did not teach the boys to be virgins means that they will make nonsense of the lesson you have taught your girls. It can take one randy boy in the neighourhood to disvirgin 20 girls, and you make them think that virginity is a gift to their husbands.
“Listen, your virginity is not a gift to your husband, no man deserves your virginity. Is he a virgin himself? The reason the Bible asked you to be a virgin is Matthew 5. (Blessed are the pure for they shall see God).
“Your virginity facilitates your relationship with God, not your husband.” He added.

Inter Milan and Chilean striker has revealed he wanted to leave Manchester United and return to Arsenal after his first training session.
The Chilean striker who moved to Old Trafford in January 2018, could not established himself in the club which made him move to Inter Milan on loan and ended up joining Inter permanently this summer.
Speaking to Pelotoros TV, the 31-year-old revealed he felt instant regret after joining United.
He said: “After the first training session I had at Manchester United I realized many things.
“And when I got back home I told my agent if I could cancel the contract and go back to Arsenal.”
In other news, Manchester United have completed the signing of Donny van de Beek from Ajax, having agreed to pay £35 million (€39m/$46m) plus £4m in add-ons for the Netherlands international midfielder.
The 23-year-old joins on a five-year deal with the option to extend for an additional season.
He will wear the No.34 at Old Trafford, a tribute to former Ajax team-mate Abdelhak Nouri, who was in a coma for more than two years after suffering a cardiac arrest during a match in 2017.
