A student of UNILAG has called out the College of Medicine section of the institution for waving off Sexual Assault cases.
The young lady who made several tweets about the issue which has been going on for a while now attached several evidences to her post.
According to her, sexual assault has become rampant in the institution and some of the offenders keep repeating the act because they are not punished for it.

Nigerians have come together to condemn the Delta State Police PRO, Bright Edafe over the recent post he shared on his X (Twitter) page.
The officer stated that having sexual intercourse with a boy or girl under the age of 13 is punishable under the law by life imprisonment.
Edafe added that any parent or guardian who tries to cover the corruption would be charged in court for aiding and abetting.
His tweet read;
“Sexual intercourse with either a boy or a girl under the age of 13 years is defilement and the punishment if found guilty is life Imprisonment. Section 218 CC. In this case, consent is immaterial and such offences can’t be compounded. So going to court and swearing to an affidavit won’t work. In fact any parent who tries to cover defilement could be charged to court for aiding and abetting.”

Social media influencer, Papaya Ex breaks silence over N235k scam allegation for a free training class as many slammed her for receiving payments and blocking them afterward.
Recall that a young lady, who claimed to be a student from the influencer’s free training class had accused her of receiving N235,000 and blocked her from the WhatsApp group chat.
Papaya disclosed that she had announced her plan to teach people how to make money on social media with their phones from the comfort of their homes and in transit.
Speaking on the allegations, Papaya has called out the lady, asking her to provide evidence of payment to back up her claims as she vowed to take legal action against the lady. She mentioned that the N235,000 isn’t hers but for the training academy.
The influencer claimed she never delivered any uniform, pen, or paper as a training kit to any registered student in the money-making class group. She regarded herself as a financially stable lady, who doesn’t live by extorting people.
She wrote,
“WATCH! Iโd never scxam anyone! I ainโt delivering no uniforms, pen or papers to anyone…Beware of sxcam, Iโm not doing any send 5k to earn 400k. Iโd never message you first on any app.”
