A married nursery worker who had sex with a 13-year-old boy and had his baby, has been exposed.
20-year-old Leah Cordice from Windsor, who was studying child care while working at the local nursery drunkenly walked into the boy’s bedroom where he was playing computer games and pulled down his trousers before having sex with him, the court heard.
It was also claimed that she continued having unprotected intercourse with the child twice a month for a year, even while she was pregnant and after she gave birth to a girl.
Her husband believed the child was his but a later DNA test showed that the schoolboy was actually the father, Reading Crown Court heard.
Prosecutors told how the boy, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, had later said to police in interview: ‘You are supposed to have sex and, like, love each other. It was just like, she just wanted to do it. Now I feel like she did not really care about me.’
The jury also heard how the woman went to the boy’s house drunk in January 2017 and pulled his trousers down while he was playing computer games. She was 17 at that time.
‘Matters only came to the attention of the local authority, the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Council, in the course of family proceedings in relation to Ms Cordice’s child.
‘DNA testing revealed that her child is the complainant’s biological daughter.’
Cordice and the boy continued having unprotected sex roughly twice a month until the start of 2018, the court heard, a few weeks before the boy, who had turned 14, was interviewed by police.
Ms Ong, speaking of the police interview, told the jury: ‘The boy said that he and Ms Cordice started having sexual intercourse when he was 13 years old.
‘The defendant, Ms Cordice, was drunk, she went around to his address, she went into his bedroom and at first, they talked normally and he continued playing on his Xbox and watching YouTube.
‘Ms Cordice then sat on his bed and started to hug him and kiss him and it carried on.
‘He said, “I could not really say no. She would have kept asking and asking me to have sex”. Afterwards, he felt that it was a bit weird and that she did not say anything to him afterwards.’
The court also heard that the boy was the first person Cordice told that she was pregnant. The mother of one also showed him an app on her phone which disclosed the date she had conceived was the first time they had had sex.
Even after Cordice got married to her long-term partner, she continued having sex with the boy.

The bereaved mother of former Remo Stars football club player, Tiamiyu Kazeem, who was killed in a faceoff with some SARS officers over the weekend, has said that operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) had attempted to arrest her son two weeks before his death.
She said this when Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, paid her family a condolence visit on Tuesday February 25th.
“Two weeks before his death, my son complained that operatives of SARS usually surround his car. In fact, he called his father on many of these occasions. There was a certain day that his elder brother’s wife put to bed and he was at the hospital. Just as he went in, I was called that SARS operatives had surrounded his car. I rose and went there and on getting there, I met them.
I called one of their bosses immediately because, during Gbenga Daniel’s tenure, I served all policemen in the state souvenirs whenever they had meetings. So, he told them to leave my son alone and they did. They told me they were sorry and I told them they should be sorry for themselves.”
Recounting how her son died, the distraught mother said
“He woke up on that Saturday morning and said he wanted to get to his manager’s place. After he left, I called him around a few minutes past 11 am to tell that him his food was ready. The person with him said he stepped down from his vehicle to buy something and before he came back, there were SARS operatives seated in his car.
They took his phone and interrogated him. He told them he was a footballer. And he was whisked to Abeokuta in their vehicle during which the incident happened.”

In an interview with PM news, the leader of the group, Leo Igwe, said the act of killing women and children on suspection that they are witches is barbaric and must be stopped. “AFAW uses a secular, humanist, skeptical and human rights approach to examine witchcraft narratives and address related abuses. Our campaign is founded on the principles that witchcraft is a myth and an imaginary crime which no one commits.
“It is founded in the principles that attributions or causing harm through occult means are based on hearsay and misinformation, panic and anxieties, fear and superstition.
“Witch persecution, killings and trials are forms of human rights abuses that should not be tolerated in the name of religion, culture or tradition. I urge all Africans as well as none Africans, including all Africans in the diaspora to join efforts with us to achieve this important objective,” Igwe said
There was a hive of activity at Old Trafford in late January as they hurried to negotiate and then finalise the paperwork on their latest signing. This would turn out to be Odion Ighalo, who is joining United on loan from the Chinese team Shanghai Shenhua until the end of the season.
Ighalo later admitted that he took a pay cut to get the opportunity to play for the Red Devils, who he has been a supporter of his entire life. While it may be the dream opportunity for the Nigerian striker, is his presence in the United squad going to help them resolve their problems?
A Bad Season
Having slipped down the table in recent weeks, United are now 6th favourite to make it into the Premier League’s top 4 this season. They had been sitting in the middle of the table going into the winter break, but have since climbed back up to 7th.
Competing for a top 4 space is an unusual place for United to be, given that they are the most successful club in the Premier League. Yet this year, it seems like it may be a struggle for them to even get a place in the Europa League.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has not had a good run this year, with less than two thirds of the goals scored by table topping Liverpool, and twice as many put in the United net. This has left them with a goal difference of just 9, on par with 5th place Tottenham Hotspur.
Former Liverpool player, Jamie Carragher, predicted this problem in October when he told Sky Sports that United have a weakness up front.
Can Ighalo Help Ease the Woes?
Things didn’t get off to a great start for the Nigerian, who was left in the UK while the other United players headed to Malaga for some training in the warmer weather. Unfortunately, Ighalo was left in the UK as club officials had been concerned he would be denied re-entry to the country due to his time spent in China. He was able to play in the game against Chelsea though.
Ighalo is a proven goalscorer. During his time in China, he scored 36 goals from 55 appearances with Changchun Yatai and 10 goals from 17 while at Shanghai Shenhua. He also managed 33 from 82 while playing for Watford between 2014 and 2017. Ighalo was also the top scorer in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations. Success at Old Trafford will rely on his ability to replicate and build on this performance for United.
During the game against Chelsea on 17th February, Ighalo spent the full 90 minutes on the bench, but was brought on in stoppage time. With just 5 minutes of gameplay, Ighalo managed a shot at goal from the centre of the box, but it was saved by Chelsea’s keepers Willy Caballero.
A goal in his debut game would have been an even bigger dream come true for Ighalo, who would have had a psychological boost from it. That said, he shouldn’t be too disheartened given that he managed an attempt in the short time he had on the pitch.
It’s still too early to tell whether Ighalo will play a major role in turning the tide for Untied, but the early signs have been promising.
A Long Term Solution?
Ighalo is currently only on loan to United until the end of the season. However Solskjaer has hinted at the possibility of retaining him permanently if he manages to impress over the coming weeks.
It will therefore be up to Ighalo to grasp every opportunity he’s given and knock as many goals in as he can. Motivation doesn’t seem to be a problem for him, and he has also demonstrated that he has the talent. The key will be pulling it all together, and being able to work with the others in the squad to get the job done.
The job might also be a little easier for Ighalo and United, as the Top 5 might be enough. With Manchester City receiving a ban from UEFA tournaments, it is likely that the 5th place team will be making it to the Champions League next year.
The Nasarawa Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), has arrested a 26-year-old man for attempting to kill his biological mother in Lafia, the state’s capital.
Parading the suspect identified as Kamaldin Abu Sabo before newsmen, the State’s NSCDC commandant, Mahmud Gidado Fari said he threatened to kill his mother on numerous occassions.
Fari added;
“That is why we have arrested him and would soon charge him to court. It is wrong for anybody to say that he would kill another person. What makes this case different is that she is his biological mother”
The suspect who denied the allegation against him, accused him elder brother of reporting him to the agency.
Kamaldin said;
“I am living on Shendam Road in Lafia. I dropped out from Government College Keffi. I am a Tailor and did not attempt to kill my biological mother. And I did not agree with the statement of the NSCDC that my mother reported me; it was my elder brother who reported me to the NSCDC.
“I had the tattoo because of the fancy I have for it, but I am not a cultist.”
He however couldn’t explain why he had many scars on his face and body.

Vanessa broke down in tears when she talked about Kobe and Gianna dying together.
“God knew they couldn’t be on this earth without each other,” she said. “He had to bring them home to him together. Babe, you take care of our Gigi. I got Natalia, Bianka and Capri. We’re still the best team. We love and miss you boo-boo and Gigi. May you both rest in peace and have fun in heaven. Until we meet again, we love and miss you forever and always.”
