A young man has died just one day after he took to Facebook to count down to his birthday.

Diego Patrick Nnamdi, whose birthday is on March 23, wished himself a happy birthday in advance on Facebook.

Sadly, his Friends woke up to the news of his death and they took to Facebook to mourn him.

A lady has recounted how a man she went on a date with ditched her after she refused to pay his bill.

The lady identified on twitter as Coco The Lagos Baker, recounted going on a date with a man her cousin introduced her to and after they both ordered and finished up, he expected her to pay the bill which she refused.

According to her, she paid for only what she had but the man who had expected her to pay the entire bill started making up lies that he forgot his ATM in the car. She however insisted she was not paying the bill and that was the beginning of the end of a date gone sour.

So I meet this guy through my cousin and he asked me on a date, the date which was today was my first time ever seeing him.

I never get all dressed up for anything but for some reason I did make up and wore heels today, got all dressed up for nothing!! The guy came to pick me up from my house and took me a nice restaurant he had been ranting about

As always, I orders what I knew I could pay for if anything happened (thank God for sense) while uncle on the other hand ordered a bottles of 18k5 drink with Chinese and calamari, I just dey look dey shout wow for my mind

So we were talking while waiting for our order, that’s how this shameless 34 year old said that “I hope you know the bills are on you?” I just laughed it off thinking it was a joke cause he asked me on a date not the other way around

While we were eating, uncle was yanning me how he has a main girlfriend but he doesn’t love her anymore and he wants to start new with me and if I agree to date him he’s ready to get married in 5 months, blah blah blah, he’s serious about me, I look calm and collected

I look reasonable and responsible and he loves that I’m business oriented and independent, I just dey look am. Dears!! I say again! MEN WILL EMBARRASS YOU!

So we finished eating and the waiter came to clear our table and give us the bill (I had in mind to split it as I always offer) So I took the receipt and asked the waiter to bring the pos, me expecting the guy to also bring out his card as I had already put mine on the table

Uncle was just there pressing phone, bill was N33,500 My food cost N10,200 according to the bill, as I saw that the guy wasn’t even minding me and the waiter, I just pointed out with my finger the things on the list that I ate to the waiter and paid for my own food

And that was where the drama started I told him that he can’t expect me to pay for lunch that he offered to buy me cause it wasn’t in my budget, uncle now started with he forgot his atm card in the car…

That I should just pay for it, at this point the waiter was already being loud and I was getting irritated and embarrassed. I explained that I can’t do that as it wasn’t in my budget,

he was now like should he transfer to me so I can pay with my card? I agreed and gave my account details only for me to get credit if 3k in his name
At this point I knew I was out with a clown, I was already so pissed and I couldn’t leave

I stood on my ground that I wasn’t going to pay because he was the one who invited me out, it was really embarrassing cause there were a group of coppers there and the whole thing was getting loud, he cash called someone and I think the person borrowed him money or something

But that’s not my business, obviously I was still expecting him to drop me back at home cause he came to pick me, we walked outside to the parking lot, got into the car, uncle started the car and asked me to come down and the drove off

A Nigerian on social media has accused some unidentified officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) of puncturing the tyre of a car driven by a lady rushing a ”pregnant woman in labour to the hospital.”

@Macheteros revealed that the FRSC officials penalized his sister for driving a pregnant lady who should have been on seatbelt. He alleged that they punctured the tyre after she refused giving them N20k.

They had to puncture her tire all in an attempt to stop her from taking the woman to the hospital. Is this what they are supposed to do on the roads?

She wasn’t speeding. They said the woman should have been on her seat belt and the lady told them she can’t use seatbelt as she is currently having severe cramps and rushing to the hospital. Is that enough reason for them to deflate her tires?

Popular Nigerian Police Officer, Adamu Mukhtar has taken to his twitter page to narrate how he and his mother were involved in a car accident just a day to his birthday.

Thankfully, they survived and the ASP is full of praises to God.

I got involved in an accident together with my mom just a day to my birthday, God spared our lives, we came out unhurt after the car summersault 3 times and landed upside down this is the best birthday gift to me.

A youth corp member, Omaka Samuel Dike who has been serving in Kwara state has executed multiple laudable projects in his host community.

Dike reportedly used his allowance to commence 5 different community development service projects of providing portable drinking water and desks for schools among other commendable services to the small community.

A Twitter user identified as Kosoko Damilola shared the details via his handle as he revealed that the projects were completed within a space of five months.

Kosoko also called on the state government to acknowledge and appreciate Dike’s efforts. While sharing photos, he wrote:

A Police officer has been spotted collecting bribe from motorists on a road believed to be along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

In the video which has gone viral, what caught the attention of social media users is the fact that he issued change to large cash-carrying motorists.

A young Nigerian man who decided to record the moment also engaged the police man in an exchange as he sought to get his complete change of 900 Naira after giving 1000 Naira.

A man identified as AD Patrickson has narrated his inspiring success tale of how he became the owner of an oil and gas company years after he worked as a security man on oil field vessels.

A lady has taken to her social media page to narrate how she met an accident victim writhing in pain on the road and how she rushed him to the hospital.

Aderonke Rene Ahmed, revealed that she was driving when she met the victim. He had been hit by a bus and at least 10 people surrounded him, but no one made a move to take him to the hospital.

She said she rushed him to the hospital but the staff showed no sense of urgency, instead, they were more interested in her making payment, even though it was obviously an emergency.

She said she did the much she could and left when the patient said he was feeling better.

A young couple who reportedly got married on March 4, 2020 have gone viral on social media.

According to reports, the yet-to-be identified lovers are students of Rhodes High School in South Africa.

They were reportedly together for two weeks before tying the nuptial knot.

The story was shared via a post by a Twitter user identified as @Yeyethu_Baballo, who also released photos of the two students.

In one of the photos, they cold be seen signing what is believed to be court documents, while the other photo shows the young man holding up the supposed marriage document.
