Media personality, Toke Makinwa, caused a bit of trouble on twitter today when she shared a photo on the platform.
In the photo, Toke wore a tight-fitted short and the outline of her labia majora was quite conspicuous which caused a ripple effect among twitter users.
While some admired the beauty in shorts, others lambasted her saying she does anything to gain attention.
Toke Makinwa, unfazed by the petty talks, defiantly crowned her ‘camel toe’ a better celebrity as she note it has more fans than she does. She further explained that it is sweet in the middle .
First I was a tad bit embarrassed as I posted the pic without zooming in and then I thought there are worse things in life so hey…. I"ve got PPS and it's sweet in the middle
General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye is currently trending on micro-blogging website, Twitter and it is not entirely for the right reason.
So here’s what happened ;
The respected clergy man took to his twitter page to recall how he told his “son” to sack his secretary because he(son) told him that he is excited to resume at work every Monday because he will get to see his secretary.
According to Adeboye, he told his son to sack his secretary because no one is worth his marriage. He went on to admonish married men and women on spending time with people who are not their spouse.
The disclosure ignited a spark of controversy as some Nigerians called him out for making an “innocent lady lose her job”.
See initial tweet and reactions below;
His full post below;
Today, I will be focusing on the married. It is sad that many married people are still having crushes with persons apart from their spouses.
If there is any fellow aside from your spouse you are admiring unduly, you must see such a person as the devil and get rid of them immediately.
One of my sons once told me that he was always excited to resume in the office every Monday because he would get to see his secretary again. I told him to fire her immediately. Nothing and no one is worth your marriage.
What is a married woman doing on the phone with another man for countless minutes? Why would a married man be spending so much time with another man’s wife? Why would you prefer to discuss intimate issues with your “friend” of the opposite sex instead of your God-given spouse?
Oh, you may say “I am not doing anything with the fellow; we are just friend.” That is exactly where it starts from. The devil knows you are a Christian and would not fall for someone just like that.
So, he makes you become good friends with the fellow and before you know it, you would have fallen. May you not fall for any strategy of the devil in the mighty name of Jesus. If you have any friend that you talk to more than your spouse, break that friendship now.
Proverbs 5:18 has this to say:
“Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.”
Spend more time with your spouse and make him/her your confidant. Exchange compliments. The reason many people have crushes outside their marriage is mostly due to a distance between the couple.
They no longer communicate as they used to. When they talk, it is only on serious issues about the children or other family needs, instead of talking/gisting about just anything as they used to in the early days of their marriage.
They no longer go out to fun places or take walks together except they are going for family functions. If there is no distance between yourself and your spouse, no crush can come between you.
No one should be closer to you or know more about you than your spouse.
Shalom ?
Pastor Adeboye asked his son to fire his secretary because he couldn't control the ecstasy of working around her. An innocent woman lost her job for nothing and people are replying, "More grace to Daddy."
I don't understand, grace to fire more innocent people??
We can all criticize Pastor Adeboye for asking his son to sack his secretary until the wife of the son sees a romantic message between her husband&the secretary, takes it up,get into a fight with the husband and kill the husband in anger.
Draw whatever you want to draw out of pastor adeboye's thread, I'm not concern cos I got the msg clearly. Wives tell their husbands to do this without blinking twice about it and no one gets angry over it. Getting another job for her could be fair but still it's his decision.
Pastor Adeboye just innocently snitched on his son ? imagine if the sons wife sees that tweet, that fire they were trying to quench by firing that innocent secretary will be small compared to the Fire that will be on the mountain Sorry house ?? pic.twitter.com/KAOH91gUuz
My sister if you chase away your help cos you feel she might tempt your hubby then you have no right to blast Pastor Adeboye. Like the only crime your help commited is developing breast and growing into a beautiful woman. Everyone is woke on social media ,hypocrites..
Media Personality, Toke Makinwa has taken to her social media page to share her thoughts on divorce and domestic violence from the perspective of the Nigerian culture.
The vlogger who advocated for people to walk away from their marriages when it’s no longer working, insisted that “nobody is worth throwing the rest of your life in jail or even worse a death sentence for”.
Toke Makinwa said although most people say that divorce is not an option, a sin and not in our tradition, they will however only cry when one “throws his or her life away”.
Her tweets read ;
“I know some conversations are tough but they must be had, nobody is worth throwing the rest of your life in jail or even worse, a death sentence, anger is evil, choose your mental health and walk away always. It’s hard, it’s tough but one minute of anger can take away everything
They say divorce is not an option and it’s a sin, and it’s not our tradition but if you die or kill someone cos of anger, the same people that “said”will only cry with you as you throw your life away, try separation first and if things don’t get better, choose you
Life is tough, people are angry, there is frustration in the land. The only sanity you can guarantee is yours. If someone is threatening your peace pls separate from them, at least you can both be alive to raise your kids, and maybe one day find a resolve, stop testing yourself”.

The Abia State Police Command has arrested and paraded a suspected armed robber identified as Kingsley Emezue alias Pakins alongside his gang members Enyinna Asiegbu (25) and Promise Sunday Obilor a.k.a Esere (26), for reportedly killing a couple before their three children.
Abia State’s Police Commissioner, Ene Okon told newsmen that the arrested suspects were connected to Sampson Iheukwumere Nwokocha a.k.a Grave, a notorious robber killed in December by the police.
He said the suspects who initially relocated after their gang leader was killed, returned to Umuahia in January 2020 after they thought the manhunt for them has been called off.
“The gang seemed to have gone on holidays to enjoy their loots and resurfaced around January 10, 2020, in what seems like recouping of expenses made during the Yuletides. The six-man gang on January 25, 2020, operating in a tricycle, snatched a Toyota Sienna van with registration number RBC477RL, along Health Center Road in World Bank Housing Estate, Umuahia.
“The gang, while operating in a Sienna van, shot and killed a couple, Mr and Mrs Darlington Chinyere Uzoma, along Secretariat Road, Ogwurube Layout, Umuahia. This was after robbing them of proceeds of the day’s sales.
“They robbed and shot Basil Okechukwu of Obowo, Imo State, on January 16, around Post Office Umuahia Road. Okechukwu was killed while on transit with the money he withdrew from bank.
“Officers from the Central Police Station, Umuahia and operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) on ‘Operation Puff Adder’ went after the hoodlums and intercepted a tricycle conveying two of the hoodlums named Precious Chukwuebuka Okoro and Ogbonna Ifeanyichukwu Justice. Interrogation of the duo resulted in the subsequent arrest of the other members of the gang namely; Enyinna Asiegbu (25), Promise Sunday Obilor (26) aka Esere and Emezue Kingsley (20) aka Pakins.”
Emezue introduced himself as a butcher when questioned by newsmen and also disclosed that he was lured into armed robbery by bad friends.
He said;
“We did the robbery operation actually on Saturday night, but I did not shoot the couple. It was our driver that shot them.”

Enraged by their comments, Bimbo posted series of videos on her IG page where she laid serious curses on those trolling her instead of sympathizing with her.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has written an open letter to the organizers of Grammy Awards after Burna Boy’s loss to Angelique Kidjo at the 2020 edition of the awards.
Naomi Campbell who praised Angelique for spreading light and opening minds through her music, stated that Burna Boy has not been given the accolades he truly deserves due to lack of education.
The supermodel averred that categorization of afrobeats in the ‘World Music’ category of the 2020 Grammys, diminished an entire genre in which such a high standard of talent has emerged.
Naomi who queried the recording academy on the voting pattern of the category, urged them to use the next 363 days to reassess and reflect on their perspective of ‘World Music.’
She wrote;
First, I want to say deepest congratulations to @angeliquekidjo for her award on Sunday, and thank you to you for spreading light and opening minds through your music… •
And to our AFRICAN GIANT, @burnaboygram… it is only due to lack of education that you have not been honored with the accolades you so truly deserve. You are always a winner in our hearts. ALWAYS. •
And to The @RecordingAcademy,
There is something that brings joy, strength and happiness to myself, and to so many people that hear it, and it is called Afrobeats. Afrobeats is a musical genre played on mainstream and primetime radio not only across the continent of Africa, but across the world… •
Recently, the genre was categorized into your ‘World Music’ category at the 2020 Grammys. This misrepresentation diminishes an entire genre in which such a high standard of talent has emerged; a genre that has been a force of hope and positivity for many, and a vehicle for artistry on the continent of Africa. •
Please take the next 363 days to reassess and reflect on your perspective of ‘World Music.’ Did the world get to vote for this award, or was it only the people in the United States a part of The Recording Academy? What will this neglectful categorization of music mean to individual cultures? Cultures who contribute their blood, sweat and tears, and every level of their creativity and work ethic into making music for YOU and for all of us. •
Please get up to speed on the state of all popular music today, and include Afrobeats Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year and all the subcategories that this genre so deserves – just as any other respected and recognized musical genre. •
This is bigger than you, so open your eyes, ears and minds and treat us right and with the respect we deserve.
Temi Otedola, daughter of Nigerian billionaire, Femi Otedola, took to her Twitter page to show how her parent paid her a surprise visit while on a movie set.
Recall that some weeks ago, the fashion designer is set to make her acting debut in Kunle Afolayan’s feature film, The Citation.
It is believed that Femi Otedola and wife, Nana Otedola, went unannounced to show massive support to their daughter as they visited her on the set of the movie.
These dramatic pictures have revealed the moment Kobe Bryant’s helicopter exploded in a fireball after it crashed into a hillside in Calabasas, California, killing the NBA legend, his 13-year-old daughter Gigi and seven others.
The photos, taken in the aftermath of the crash by a witness show the flaming wreckage of the helicopter after it plunged 1,000 feet into a hillside on Sunday.
The witness said he saw ‘helicopter parts flying everywhere’ after the aircraft emerged from ‘out of the fog’ and exploded in a ‘huge fireball’.
Before the crash, Pilot Ara Zobayan had told air traffic controllers that he was climbing to avoid a cloud layer.
On Monday, an accident investigator said the pilot asked and received special clearance to fly in heavy fog just minutes before the crash and was flying at 1,400 feet when he went south and then west.
Authorities also revealed that there was no black box on board but instead an iPad which was used for flight itinerary.
Pilot Zobayan asked for air traffic controllers to provide ‘flight following’ radar assistance but was told the craft was too low for that assistance, Jennifer Homendy of the National Transportation Safety Board said.
About four minutes later, ‘the pilot advised they were climbing to avoid a cloud layer,’ she said. ‘When ATC asked what the pilot planned to do, there was no reply. Radar data indicates the helicopter climbed to 2,300 feet and then began a left descending turn.’ The wreckage was found at 1,085 feet.
Homendy said last radar contact was around 9.45am. Two minutes later, someone on the ground called 911 to report the crash.
The helicopter, which left Santa Ana in Orange County, south of Los Angeles, shortly after 9 a.m., was heading to the Mamba Academy near Thousand Oaks, California when the chopper went down in Calabasas, about 30 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.
All nine people on board the aircraft, including the NBA legend and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna died.
NTSB investigators went to the crash site in Calabasas on Monday to collect evidence. ‘The debris field is pretty extensive,’ Homendy said. ‘A piece of the tail is down the hill,’ she said. ‘The fuselage is on the other side of that hill. And then the main rotor is about 100 yards beyond that.’
The witness who saw the helicopter come down, and took the pictures of the flaming wreckage, told The Sun that: ‘One of the helicopter doors landed about 10 to 15 feet away from us. Helicopter parts were flying everywhere. There was very little left of the helicopter.’
Some experts suggested that the pilot might have gotten disoriented because of fog but Homendy said investigating teams would look at everything from the pilot’s history to the engines. ‘We look at man, machine and the environment,’ she said. ‘And weather is just a small portion of that.’

The Oyo State Command of the National Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), have arrested a couple who allegedly tied their 10-year-old daughter Abibat, to a ceiling, burning her private part for stealing the sum of N3,000.
The father of the girl, Taofeek Olawale 41, an indigene of Ede, Osun State, said he was only trying to scare her with the fire as deterrence when the fire burnt her private part.
Parading the suspect and his wife, Romoke, on Monday in Ibadan, the commandant of the (NSCDC), Isikilu Akinsanya told journalists that the arrest was part of the responsibility of the Anti-human Trafficking and Child Protection Unit of the NSCDC to save and protect the lives and property of Nigerians, as enshrined in the 2003 Act, amended 2007.
The Commandant, who was represented at the press conference by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Oluwole Olusegun, alleged that Olawale, a carpenter residing in the Amuloko area of Ibadan and his wife tortured their daughter, Abibat, by tying the girl’s hand to the ceiling and putting fire under her until she confessed to the accusation of stealing N3,000 belonging to a neighbour, Rukayat Trimisiyu.
He further said that in the search for the money, the sum of N600 was found in Abibat’s bag, and the girl later brought the remaining N2,400 from where it was hidden in the house.
The NSCDC boss said Abibat was still recovering in the hospital from damage she suffered from the burns her father inflicted on her.
Olawale told journalists he was only attempting to scare his daughter and teach her some morals.
“It is the devil that is at work,” he said.
Romoke dissociated herself from the assault, saying she divorced from Olawale seven years ago and was somewhere else when she heard about the incident.
The Lagos State Government has stated no company was given the licence to operate commercial services with motorcycles popularly known as Okada, following a ban it placed on the means of transportation in six local governments and nine local council development areas of the state. (Read here)
Lagos State’s Commissioner for Information and Strategy in the state, Gbenga Omotosho who disclosed this on ‘Sunrise Daily’, said what the government has been trying to do is regulate commercial motorcyclist so that their excesses can be curtailed.
In his words ;
“You are talking about registration; as far as I am concern, the government has not registered any company to come and be running okada.
“In fact, what the government was trying to look at is how to regulate these people so that their excesses can be curtailed.
“But as far as I know, nobody has been licenced to go and start running okada because it is unfortunate that … the rate at which people are dying; the rate at which people are being robbed on the roads; the police are worried, everybody is worried.”
Omotosho also revealed that the Lagos State Government decided to enforce the ban after a robust assessment of the debate on the rate of accidents in the state. He alleged that the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) recorded about 104,000 accident cases involving the common Lagosians with broken arms and legs.
The Commissioner also made a clarification on the ban, stating that courier services operators are allowed to ply all routes because they don’t constitute so much danger.
Omotosho added;
“The guys who are doing courier services, for example, they don’t carry passengers and they don’t constitute so much danger. So, those ones are allowed.
“They have to be above 200cc and you have to have a box behind you that you are doing courier service and you don’t have to carry passengers; you have to be well-kitted and wear your helmet.”

Kobe Bryant’s heartbroken father has been seen for the first time since losing the NBA legend, 41, and his 13-year-old granddaughter Gigi in a helicopter crash.
Joe Bryant, 65, a retired NBA star, was pictured stepping out of the Las Vegas home he shares with Kobe’s mother, Pamela, after a bouquet of flowers were delivered on Monday afternoon.
His outing comes after neighbors told DailyMail.com that Joe and Pamela’s lives have been turned ‘upside down’ because of the tragedy.
‘I talked to them twice yesterday and took over food and a card, and briefly today, they are just devastated, as you can imagine,’ the neighbor said, adding: ‘It’s a private, awful moment, losing their son and grand-daughter, it’s just horrific. I was talking to Joe briefly the day before, we were out for a walk, it was all happy and good and talking about the gorgeous weather and then it switched in 24 hours where their lives were turned upside down.’
The neighbor said Joe and Pamela are ‘very close’ to their daughters Sharia and Shaya who live in Las Vegas and the family has been rallying together, adding: ‘They just need their peace, it’s been nonstop since yesterday.
‘They were here this morning and yesterday. It’s a sensitive time, I can’t even imagine what they’re going through. They are lovely, kind, decent people.’
This comes after Kobe’s former coach and best friend of his father Joe, Wayne Slappy, told DailyMail.com that the NBA star’s family is struggling to deal with a ‘black hole’ left by his death and have been left feeling empty.
‘Can you imagine a black hole? It’s empty, how do you fill it? They’re a close-knit family. He was 41-years-old, and then his daughter dies in an accident with him too,’ the 67-year-old basketball coach said.
He added: ‘His family are going to miss him more than you can begin to imagine. I know NBA players whose kids can’t stand them, they never spent any time with them. That ain’t Kobe.
‘He grew up with his family loving each other. He was doing the same thing his father did for him, for his daughters, to the best of his ability.’
Kobe Bryant died along with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others when his chopper crashed in Calabasas, about 30 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles on Sunday.

Armed with the petition, the operatives of the Commission immediately swung into action and upon investigations found out that his mother was an accomplice in the crime.
Idi Musa, an investigator with the EFCC, while being led in evidence narrated to the court that sometime in April 2019, that the Commission received a petition from the FBI, alleging that the official email address of American Cranes Manufacturing company was hacked and as a result the sum of $82, 570. 00 was stolen by the fraudsters. He told the court that the petitioner reported that there was a syndicate of fraudsters who defrauded many companies through business email compromise and obtained millions of dollars from American citizens.
Idi further revealed that Damilola was arrested on September 6, 2019, after which his mother was apprehended when she went to withdraw money from the bank upon hearing that EFCC was investigating her son. He said Damilola’s mother bought properties in the name of her son with the money made from the fraud.
He also told the court that the sums stolen by the convicts were used to acquire properties in choice areas of Lagos, and some cash were found in their accounts.
One of the count reads:
“that you, Damilola Ahmed Adeyeri, Alaba Kareem Adeyeri and Karen Russell (still at large) sometime on the 21st day of June 2017, in Lagos within the jurisdiction of the court conspired to fraudulently impersonate the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of American Cranes Manufacturing Company with intent to gain monetary advantage in the sum of $82, 570. 00 (Eighty Two Thousand Five Hundred and Seventy US Dollars) and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 27 (1) (b) and 22 (3) of the Cyber Crime (Prohibition Prevention etc) ACT, 2015 and punishable under Section 22 (1) of the same Act.”
Another count reads:
“That you Damilola Ahmed Adeyeri, Alaba Kareem Adeyeri and Karen Russell (still at large), sometime on the 19th day of July 2017, in Lagos, within the jurisdiction of this court dishonestly represented yourself as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of American Cranes Manufacturing Company thereafter you sent an email from personal@managements-securemail-office-portal.online with intent to gain advantage to yourselves and you thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 27 (1) (a) and 22 (3) of the Cyber Crime (Prohibition Prevention etc) ACT, 2015 and punishable under Section 22 (1) of the same Act”.
After the charges were read to the convicts, they pleaded guilty to the four-count charge of conspiracy and obtaining money under false pretences.
A Nasarawa state magistrate court today January 28th, sentenced to three years in prison each, a pastor of one of the new generation churches, Ujaku Emem Samuel, his wife, Mrs. Peace and two others, Opulani Sunupe and Umar Musa Sa’adu, for selling the e-PIN for the 2020 unified tertiary matriculation examination (UTME) above N4, 000 stipulated price.
According to a statement by JAMB’s Head of Information, the four accused persons were nabbed by men of the NSCDC in Nasarawa state selling the JAMB form above 4000. They were arraigned before the court today and they pleaded guilty.
The statement reads
“No fewer than four persons who are agents of accredited sale outlets arrested by officers of NSCDC, Nasarawa State Command for selling the ongoing 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) application documents above the prescribed price of N4000, have been sentenced to three years in prison each.
“Before the commencement of the sale of 2020,UTME/DE application documents on 13th January 2020 the sale outlets and their agents were adequately briefed by the Board on the cost and procedures for vending the ePINs. The price of the ePINS was fixed at N3500 while that of the Reading Text was N500 totalling N4000.
“A commission of N210 from the N3500 due to the Board is given to the sale outlets as a commission on each pin sold to motivate them as well as dissuade them from exploiting candidates.
“It would be recalled that the Federal Government, in a bid to lessen the burden on parents, had directed that the UTME application documents be sold at N3500 down from N5000 charged earlier.
“Therefore, it is rather unfortunate that in spite of all the warnings and appeals as well as the offer of a fat commission by the Board, some sale agents still deemed it fit to test the resolve of the Board and the Federal Government by doing the contrary.
“This conviction is only the first in the series of ongoing prosecution of cases in several courts of law across the country, and, as such, many more convictions are being expected in due course.
“All sale outlets and their agents charged with the vending of the ePINs are hereby warned, in their own interest, to desist from engaging in sharp practices or face the consequences.
“Anyone who sells the ePINs above the regulated price would certainly, be arrested and prosecuted as each ePIN comes with a unique identifier for ease of tracking.
“Similarly, candidates are also warned to desist from paying more than the prescribed price as they can be culpable of aiding and abetting corrupt acts.
“The Board also wish to inform the general public that it welcomes credible and actionable reports of persons or centres exploiting candidates by selling above the regulated price.”
