Mareme Edet of Uglygalz has stated that acting in adult movies has given her a lot of exposure.
According to her: “Acting in porn movies has given me exposure and increased my level of knowledge about the happenings around me. I have been able to meet people I wouldn’t have met on a normal day. It has broadened my knowledge about life”
On why she chose to appear in adult movies, Mareme said: “I just wanted to be wild and crazy. I felt restrained, constrained, restricted and repressed. I was already being criticized for the way I dressed and looked despite acting like a usual conservative lady. I decided to dump hypocrisy .Here we are today; I am a Indecent Star and a producer of porn movies”.
Mareme also stated that Nigerians are hypocritical when it comes to watching adult movies.
“Studies shows that Nigeria has the highest number of views on Google and on websites with adult content. Most Nigerians watch adult movies but they criticize others. Nigerians always cast the first stone even when they do worst things”.
On the part of her body that gets her the most attention, the outspoken adult entertainer said her eyes and skin gets her the most attention.

A video of a yet-to-be identified woman lifting her maid and throwing her to the ground which surfaced online has generated reactions from Nigerians.
Inside the one-minute video, the woman can be seen angrily approached the car and dragged out a child suspected to be her maid. The maid was angrily lifted up into the air and smashed into the groud.
As she landed on the ground ,the yet-to-be identified girl stood up immediately and ran away but the woman ran after her before the cries of her baby made her come back to the car.
As at the time of reportage, the cause of the woman’s outrage is unknown but a facebook user claimed that the woman lives in Enugu and her house address was given.
There are speculations that it is possibly about ATM cards because she can be seen yelling in the video about ATM card.
Many Nigerians who watched the heartbreaking video have reacted angrily and requested that the woman in the video must be found and prosecuted.

Two students of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), who were detained in Bosnian refugee camp, have returned safely to Nigeria.
The two men (Abia Uchenna and Eboh Chinedu) were arrested after they attended an international table tennis competition in Croatia.
Abia Uchenna, Eboh Chinedu, and three other students arrived in Zagreb, capital of Croatia, on November 12, for the fifth world inter-university championships held in the country. They were arrested while taking a walk around the country’s capital on November 18 as they couldn’t provide relevant documents to the police.
The police officers were reported to have transferred the students to the country’s Bosnia-Herzegovina border, where Croatian authorities had gathered a group of illegal migrants attempting to cross into the country.
Confirming their safe return, Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Dabiri-Erewa Tweeted “And yes. They are home safely. The two Nigerians detained in Bosnia camp after a tennis tournament in Croatia.”

A presenter at Classic FM, Temisan Okomi, has narrated how a young girl he helped some years back, invited him for her convocation.
Mr. Okomi said he met the girl for the first time at a bar. At the time, she was only 17-year-old, looking so pretty and serving as a waitress at the bar.
Temisan decided to ask why she isn’t in school, and as expected, her story was that there was no money to purchase JAMB and SSCE forms.
Touched by the young girl’s story, Temi asked if she would return to school if he gives her the money for the forms, she said Yes and Temi showed his generosity.
Years later, the girl is now a proud first class degree holder and Mr. Okomi couldn’t hide his joy.

So as a single mum I learnt .. if your partner is irresponsible and a deadbeat dad !! You re same as a widow .. first you pay her through school and all the little bills surrounding it.. you do the upkeep bills alone Jan to dec and ofcos medical bills etc secondly you play the role of mum/dad….. this partner wont show up with funds to help because his ashamed ???or just wicked .. if you re on this table sit up 2020! Because I personally won’t be this quiet again

Controversial Nollywood Actress and Instagram drama queen, Tonto Dikeh has taken to her social media page to share a conversation she had with a prospective sugar daddy who offered her the paltry sum of $400 for her weekly allowance.
However, Tonto is a brand that is bigger than that amount and as a matter of fact the $400 was like an insult to her person.

Ghanaian journalist, Arnold Asamoah has has come to say that Ghanaian singer, Kwabena Kwabena is more gifted than Nigerian singer, Burna boy.
He also said Kwabena Kwabena has huge potentiality which he is yet to utilise owing to his womanizing nature.
He shared his opinion on Facebook whiles announcing the upcoming concert of the High-life singer.
Arnold even boldly said the Ghanaian singer is technically more gifted than Nigeria’s Burna Boy who is making international headlines lately, having gotten a Grammy nomination not too long ago.
Arnold wrote:
“Kwabena Kwabena is more talented than Burna Boy, no joke! Ebi women matter p3 dey worry am but sonically, challenger no dey. Agree or hug something…”
Idris Elba and his Canadian wife Sabrina Dhowre have been granted honorary Sierra Leone citizenship and a diplomatic passport.
The ceremony happened after Elba and his wife visited Sierra Leone (his father’s native country) for the first time. Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio conferred the passport to Elba and Dhowre at an emotional private ceremony at his colonial-era residence in the capital Freetown.
“I’m humbled and thankful for the opportunity to become a citizen of my father’s country, it’s an honour for our family,” Elba said.
The actor was born in London but his mother is from Ghana and his father from Sierra Leone. Speaking in a mixture of standard English and British-accented Krio, Elba said he had wanted to visit the West African country earlier but “it was in turmoil and he was chasing his own dreams.”
His father and uncle left Sierra Leone for London in the 1960s and 1970s “with only two bags and prayers,” he said. Elba’s father died in 2013. But his uncle, as well as senior government ministers, attended the ceremony.
President Bio said he hoped Elba would help Sierra Leone shed its image as a source of blood diamonds and Ebola virus. The diamond-rich former British colony is one of the world’s poorest countries and is still recovering nearly two decades after the end of a civil war which claimed some 120,000 lives.
