Nollywood actor, Adeyemi Okanlawon got into a nasty exchange with an Instagram troll who tried to correct his choice of words as he sent a birthday shout out to media personality, Toke Makinwa.

Deyemi’s words to Toke Makinwa reads ;

There’s kuku no such thing as good wishes being too late… so here’s to wishing you an amazing next few years

The troll turned into a ‘grammar judge’ and decided to make a quick correction, saying ;

Nothing like next few years sir. U mean ”few” so she has little years abi?

Deyimi replied ;

Sigh, your illiteracy is shameful.

Disqualified BBNaija pepper dem edition housemate, Tacha has thrown a jab at the show winner Mercy Eke, telling her not to go close to heat, because “plastic” melts.

Recall that Mercy and Tacha have seemingly had inner beef since a fight between them led to disqualification of the Port Harcourt first daughter.

In a post on her Instagram handle, Tacha wrote “Don’t stand too close to the heater babe, plastic melts”

Also recall, there have been wide speculations that Mercy underwent a plastic surgery to achieve the tempting and curvy shape.

Mercy however cleared the air on the rumours, saying: ”I never said I did surgery on my bum and it costs you N5 million. My ‘Bumbum’ is real. This interview is getting too personal.”

A young Nigerian man got more than he bargained over the weekend as dancer, James Brown sounded him a slap for referring to him as ‘Gay’.

Apparently, James went to the mall in company of a friend and while he was leaving, the young man saw him and called him gay. Angered by his unflattering comment, James went to meet with him, confronted him and slapped him.

Narrating what transpired, James on his IG page, wrote

“Good morning I just saw this video now and whoever did this video is just jobless . So guys most people have been tagging me on this video and probably wanna know why did I slap the guy?

Well, I slapped the guy because He literally called me Gay when I was passing at the mall . most of you call me names on social media and I don’t really react to it but I hate it when someone from nowhere sees me and call me Gay( I’m not offended by the words anyway) but don’t use it for me it might lead to Physical combat because I hate when someone call me GAY.. being feminine is not a crime and it doesn’t mean am a (gay) you don’t judge a book by it’s cover so let this be a warning to y’all… If not for my friend who hold me,would have deal with that animal very well because one slap is not enough for people like him #DropsPen”

A Twitter user, Identified as Aunty Naira has narrated how her neighbor’s 4-month-old son was stolen by her brother who went missing for 10 years.

According to Naira, it all started when the lady’s brother who went missing for over 10 years suddenly appeared, just to give a clumsy excuse of how he has been hustling for 10 years, that’s why he couldn’t reach out to his family.

She found his story suspicious, but then again, she was glad to see her brother so she waved off the suspicion. After some days, he requested for N50k which she couldn’t afford to give him at that moment.

Days later, while they were at home, he told her how he wanted to take a stroll outside with her baby. Innocently, she agreed and he zoomed off with her son. Days passed, weeks passed, years passed, still no trace of her son.

Only for her to get a text message from him, stating that she should forget about her son as he has already used him to settle himself, since she couldn’t give him N50k. Currently, she’s mentally unstable following her sad ordeal.

The person behind the missing items was the private tutor she’d employed for her son.

Sharing the video, the sister of the lady wrote ;

So my sister hired this lesson teacher to coach her son after classes and boom things started missing from her bag on a daily.

Actress Taiwo Ajai-Lycett has revealed how she became a mother at the age of 15, dropped out at 16, became a widow at 52 and raped at the age of 65.

The 79-year-old recipient of the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON), made the revelation in a recent interview with TheNation.

According to her: “I have been through the fire, I emerged fortified. I was 15 years old when I had a child. By 16, I was on my own. I knew I was going to get a good education. I was going to be a lawyer.

But I knew that I was on my own. My family disowned me. I married one David Akinduro in 1959 after I relocated to the U.K, but I left him due to domestic violence.

I met Thomas Lycett long after I divorced my first husband. Eventually I married him. We had a blissful marriage. He died when I was 52-years-old. I remember him everyday.

He was the one that told me that I was better off being an actor. In 2006, I was robbed and raped in my house in Egbe. I was tied. I was beaten. I was brutalized. My health was ruined.

I was blindfolded and raped. The man who raped me complained that he couldn’t gain easy entry into me because I wasn’t wet. I told him ‘widows don’t get wet.’

I kept talking to them and asked them repeatedly, ‘Are you doing this to your mother?’ Angrily, they taped my mouth but I remained fearless and prayed all through the attack.

The police came. They expected me to pursue the case. I knew the masterminds. I could have gotten them incarcerated but I simply moved on.

Look at me today, I am over it. See, the mind is a beautiful thing. When you hold on to past hurt, you tie yourself down to grief. You get infected with its poison.

Rather than wallow in grief and self-pity, I picked myself up and sought medical help, ensuring that they hadn’t infected me with any STD.. That same year, the Obasanjo government got me the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) national honour.

Few years later, One of them came to prostrate before me, pleading for my forgiveness. I told him to seek forgiveness from God. I told him that I had moved on.”

It all started when the reality star took to her twitter page to share some advice to her fans with a caption saying;

Following Cee-c’s tweet, an online bully took to the comment section to remind her that Tobi had dumped her for the second time and he is now dating Kim Oprah.

Lion discovered at residential building in Lagos (photos)

A 2-year-old lion reportedly owned by an unnamed Indian national has been discovered at a residential apartment in Lagos.

Yinka Egbeyemi, the chairman of Lagos State Taskforce on Environmental and Special Offences confirmed the report on Sunday November 17, saying the lion is caged at No 229 Muri Okunola Street in Victoria Island.

Channels Television reported that the Indian national who owns the lion has been invited for questioning.

Law enforcement agents have been deployed to the area as it was further gathered that the state government through the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment is currently trying to evacuate the animal from the building.
