Nicola welcomed their son in April.
Nicola Siyo, who had a baby shower on March 30th, gave birth to a bouncing baby boy on Saturday, April 20, 2019.

Big Brother Naija housemate, Sir Dee was up for possible eviction after losing the nomination challenge for his team.
This week’s nomination took a different turn as Biggie introduced a new twist dubbed the ‘Nomination Challenge’. According to the rules of the challenge, the entire losing team would be automatically up for possible eviction.
At the end of the 2 rounds, the 2 teams, ‘Cruisetopia’ and ‘Icons’ had a tie. To settle this, Biggie asked each team to present a final representative and Sir Dee represented ‘Icons’ while Mike represented Cruisetopia.
Mike won the challenge for his team and upon realizing the ‘L’ he’d brought to his team, Sir Dee wept bitterly.
Luckily for him, his friend, Diane held the veto power and she immediately did a ‘save and replace’ She saved Sir Dee and replaced him with Joe.

Big Brother Naija housemate, Seyi, today, won the ‘Head of House’ title for the second time, thereby gaining another 250 coins and the use of the special ‘Head of House’ room.
Last week, after winning the ‘Head of House’ title for the first time, Seyi picked Esther to share the room with him.
This was met with mixed feelings as everyone felt he should have picked Tacha, his closest friend in the house. Seyi later realized his shortcomings and apologized to her.
In an attempt to make up for last week, Seyi offered to share the room with Tacha but she turned him down.

Nigerian Singer, Paul Okoye has joined the list of celebrities backing singer Tekno after the latter was told by the FG that he was a threat to national security.
Paul Okoye jeered the Federal Government of Nigeria for referring to singer Tekno’s “Lekki nude video” as “a threat to national security”.
Reacting to the Federal Government’s statement, Paul shared a photo he took with Tekno and referred to the FG as “Fufu and Garri”.
He added: “Some people are just not reasoning at all. “
A 52-year-old man identified as Emmanuel Ikhine has been arrested by men of the Ogun State Police Command for raping and impregnating his 18-year-old biological daughter.
Mr. Ikhine’s arrest came after one Yemisi Ashade reported the issue to the police in company of the victim.
Mr. Ikhine’s daughter had told Ashade about the sexual abuses her father subjected her to and threats of dealing with her if she tells anybody.
Confirming the arrest, the state’s police spokesperson Abimbola Oyeyemi said the victim shared her plight with Ashade after she got fed up with it.
Oyeyemi said ;
“The Divisional Police Officer, Sango Ota, Godwin Idehai, a Chief Superintendent of Police(CPS), detailed his detectives to the scene where the randy father was promptly arrested.
“On interrogation, he made a confessional statement that he has been having carnal knowledge of the victim long before now since he has separated with his wife.
“The victim who claimed to be the only girl amongst the three children of her father explained how the suspect has been sleeping with her whenever her two brothers are not around with threat, but when she can not bear it, she reported to their neighbour who brought her to the station to report.
“The victim was taken to general hospital where it was confirmed that she is already pregnant for her father.
“The Commissioner of Police, Bashir makama has directed that the suspect should be transferred to anti-human trafficking and child labour unit of the state criminal investigation and intelligence department for further investigation and prosecution.”
A masquerade got the beating of his life as an alleged provocation fetched him some cane moment from a Nigerian soldier.
The video was shot in an unidentified location but the masquerade was heard yelling in severe pain as he begged for help.
A voice was being heard behind the camera saying this is the first time he would hear a masquerade speaking out.

Nigerian media personality, Daddy Freeze has waded in on the social media conversation of ‘Jesus being the only way to heaven‘ which was ignited by comedienne, Maraji’s post, with his opinion on the claim.
It should be recalled that Maraji’s post which many described as ‘offensive and insensitive’ read,
“There is only one way to heaven. No Allah, no Buddha, no Krishna, no evolution, Only Jesus.”
However, reacting to the claims made by the Instagram comedienne, Daddy Freeze alleged that Jesus Christ was invented 400 years ago and was not known by people who lived on earth before then.
The media personality and ‘Free The Sheeple’ leader further stated that the truth about Yahushua, the real son of Yahweh was destroyed at that time to make room for a manipulative, monetized and politicized ‘Jesus’ doctrine.
Admitting that Maraji’s intentions are pure, Daddy Freeze however noted that her knowledge of the truth is in doubt and further asked her to embrace the truth so she won’t end up having a zeal for God without knowing who He truly is.

Popular Ivorian entertainer, DJ Arafat died on Monday August 12, after he was involved in a motorcycle accident and subsequently rushed to the hospital on Sunday August 11.
The “coupe-décalé” star died as a result of the injuries he sustained from the accident at a hospital in Abidjan – it was gathered that his motorcycle was hit by a car driven by a journalist from Radio Côte d’Ivoire.
DJ Arafat was unconscious while being rushed to the hospital and sadly didn’t survive the incident. His death has been confirmed by Nigerian singer, Davido, who penned down a tribute to him on Instagram.

A 29-year-old gentleman, Simon Godwin Idoko, a First Class Graduate of Pure and Applied Chemistry from the Usmanu Danfodiyo University in Sokoto State, has been confirmed dead few days after passing out of the National Youth and Service Corps (NYSC) program.
Simon who reportedly took JAMB six times before gaining admission for his first degree, served as a graduate assistant at Godfrey Okoye University in Enugu State before his death.
A friend of the deceased, Ameh Godwin confirmed the sad incident in a tribute he shared on Facebook.

A 40-year-old Indian actress Pradnya Parkar, allegedly strangulated her teenage daughter and then committed suicide after at their Kalwa residence in Gauri Suman Society on Friday morning, Thane Police said.
Pradnya Parkar allegedly left behind a suicide note admitting to the murder-suicide and said she was under extreme stress. Her daughter Shruti, 17, was an HSC student at a Thane college.
Preliminary reports by the police suggested that Parkar, who worked in several Marathi serials and an unreleased Marathi movie, was not getting much work these days and her husband too was facing problems in his business. The neighbours said she had been home without work for many months.
A senior police inspector of Kalwa police station, Shekhar Bagde said the deceased had also come to know that her husband was having an affair.
The incident apparently took place between 8 and 9 in the morning when her husband had gone to the gym.
On return, he found the door of the flat locked from inside. With help from neighbours, he broke down the door and found his wife hanging from the ceiling fan and his daughter suffocated to death in the bedroom. Further probe is on.
“We think a financial crisis led to the murder-suicide, but a probe is under way,” said Shekhar Bagde, adding that the actress left a note taking responsibility for her actions. “She said no one else should be blamed for this,” Bagde added.

Ibeakanma Onyechere, a 46-year-old banker has taking his own life weeks after sharing a suicidal note on Facebook.
The married father-of-one, was found lying lifeless in his room at his home in Victoria Island, Lagos State.
The banker, from Abia state, reportedly left his wife a suicide note before he took his life by consuming a harmful substance on Friday, August 9, 2019. His wife, who reportedly went shopping at the time he took his life, found the note when she returned.
The note, reportedly obtained by Igbere TV, reads:
“The best, that’s what I used to call you. Finally this is the end of my journey here on earth. The evil I have been battling with has succeeded in quenching the flame.
“You married a wrong man. You’re a good woman and you deserve the best. You need to be happy. You need to soar. Please take care of our princess Chinenyenwa.
“Tell her that I love her so much. Be peaceable with everyone though not gonna be easy. Tell my family not to harbor any resentment against you. You’re a blessing to us.
“That’s the wish of a dying man. Don’t cry for me but pray for me. I love you and chinenye so much. Good Bye My beloved.”
He also shared a Facebook post that hinted at his imprending suicide which read : “THE LIGHT IS GRADUALLY DIMMING OUT…………”
David Uyi Omokaro has come to the defense of Instagram comedian, Maraji while saying Jesus should be the one receiving criticisms from Twitter users and not Maraji, because, according to him, Jesus promoted divisiveness.
Maraji became the number one trending topic on twitter for dismissing other religions by saying on the day Muslims were celebrating eid-El-Kabir that Jesus is the only way to heaven, “not Allah, not Buddha, not Krishna” (read here ICYMI).
However Uyi asked people to direct their ire at Jesus Christ who he says did worse.

Comedian, Wale Gates has reacted to a statement which was made by a counsellor at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG about masturbating with a particular person in mind being rape.
@PSFRCCGOfficial took to Twitter to highlight points made during the RCCG Convention 2019. While discussing masturbation, Timi Oyebode, a counsellor and author at the church said masturbating to someone’s image is no different from raping the person.

It was earlier reported earlier that the Director General of the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) a parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture, Segun Runsewe expressed disappointment that the Cartel Music boss released the music video which sparked controversy while being shot.
He further said they are going to inform security agencies to place him on their watch list, because his action is a threat to national security and a bad influence on Nigerian youths.

Popular Nigerian Instagram comedian, Maraji is currently trending on Twitter and it’s rather unfortunate that it’s not about her engaging social media contents this time.
The youngster is currently a trending topic after she shared a quite sensitive statement about religion on her page recently.
Maraji had taken to her page to share that Christianity is the only way to heaven and stated categorically that all other reliogions, including Islam won’t get anyone to eternal glory.
Her statement is not one that’s new in the world when it comes to conflict in religious beliefs but netizens are disappointed that the young influencer choose the day when Muslims are celebrating their annual “Salah” day to share her stance.

A 60-year-old patent medicine dealer identified as Clement Ikechukwu Ogenyi, who allegedly defiled a 4-year-old girl in Otukpo, Benue state, narrowly escaped being lynched by an angry mob at the weekend.
According to DailyTrust the suspect lured the little child into his room and had carnal knowledge of her after she was sent to buy Vitamin C tablets from his medicine store.
The unpleasant way which the girl walked back home prompted further probe that led to the discovery of her defilement.
Soon after the matter became public knowledge, an angry mob almost lynched the suspect as further revelations suggested that he had molested other minors in the neighbourhood in the past. Ikechukwu is now in police custody.
Big Brother Naija: Pepper Dem housemate, Ike has shared why he doesn’t speak to his parents.
Ike while professing his love for Mercy last Saturday night, said his parents do not show him love like she does. According to him, he is not in talking terms with them because his father tried to disown him more than six times.
But, Mercy, while reassuring him of her love maintained that although she loves him, he needs to know that his parents love him more than she does and he has to open up his mind to love them in return.

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Leo DaSilva has reacted to criticisms that has trailed current ‘Pepper Dem’ housemate, Cindy.
Cindy, who is one of the five new housemates introduced by Biggie, since her entrance into the reality show, has been criticized and described by some viewers as ‘local’ and not posh like other housemates.
However, Leo on the other hand, defended Cindy as he describes her as a representation of every average Nigerian lady who is not ashamed of her background.

A Nigerian doctor has wowed a lot of people after he took to his social media page to tell ladies to have intercourse while having their monthly menstrual period.
The doctor, one Dr Emmanuel took to Twitter to advise women not to starve their men of sex during their menstrual cycle. He wrote:
Try not to starve your partner of sex during your mentrual period as a woman. There are advantages of having sex during your period.
Although it can get messy anyways, but then it can reduce the duration of the period, relief cramps to an extent, and you should use a CD!

The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG ordained 1,850 pastors and held a special thanksgiving service at their 67th annual convention.
General overseer of the church, E.A Adeboye, while giving insights about the program, revealed that 109 babies were born at the RCCG maternity when the convention was going on. They were 56 boys and 53 girls.
The Assistant General overseer of the church charged the newly ordained pastors never to despair as they go about the task of evangelizing the world for Christ as their reward is in heaven.
He said,
“We have heard of patriarchs of old who fought the good fight of faith and have long gone to heaven where they received their rewards”

The Nigerian Federal Government has vowed to restore sanity into the social lives of its citizens and curb the debasement of humanity and pride of Nigerian women by making scapegoats of some peculiar persons.
This motion by the government is in reaction to the controversial music video by popular musician, Tekno which featured scenes of four semi-nude women dancing in a moving van on the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge in Lagos.
The singer, in the four-minute video, was seen throwing money suspected to be dollars at the young women in the see-through truck.
The government expressed disappointment that despite ongoing investigations into the anomaly, Tekno went ahead to release the offensive video.
In the official music video for the song, ‘Agege,’ which was released on Thursday, Tekno was seen in the moving van performing to the camera with the half-clad women dancing seductively.
A statement on Sunday by the Director General, National Council for Arts and Culture, a parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture, Segun Runsewe, said Tekno would be made a scapegoat “to teach others a serious lesson.”
According to him, the NCAC is committed to exposing proponents of such kind of offensive sights and videos in Nigeria, while security agencies will be briefed to place Tekno on their watch list, “because his conduct is a threat to national security.”
Runsewe said he got hundreds of telephone calls and SMS from Nigerians, both at home and in the Diaspora, who queried why such immorality would be allowed in the country.
He stated,
“We commend the police for arresting Tekno for the shameful misconduct. The same person, who was granted bail on health grounds has gone ahead to release the controversial video. We are now warning him to desist from this shameful conduct, which is not part of our culture.
“No single person is bigger than Nigeria; whether he likes it or not, we are going to use him as a scapegoat to send strong signals that this government does not tolerate nonsense and immorality, but discipline, which is our moral principle.
