The music star earlier made confirmed the assault during a radio chat with Dotun of Cool FM. According to him, he accosted the popular social media influencer because of his continuous inciting statements concerning his career and that of Teni the Entertainer.
Dotun then asked him if he actually slapped him when they saw each other in Bayelsa to which he gave an affirmative response.
“I slapped him. It was wrong, but I’m a human being,” he said. On why he slapped him, Peruzzi said, “I didn’t assault him o, I wanted to have a conversation with him and it didn’t turn out well.”
Popular South African vocalist, Nichume Siwundla commits suicide. The South African vocalist threw her off a building in Johannesburg.
The Singer is said to have committed suicide last night June 9th by jumping off a building in Johannesburg. In a statement released by her record label, Top Chap Media, it was confirmed that Nichume died from an apparent suicide in her Johannesburg home.

Nichume was found at a friend’s place last night following an apparent suicide.
She was an accomplished musician and a qualified ophthalmologist. Nichume reached the heights of her fame when she lent her voice to Mobi Dixon’s hit “Bhutiza”. She featured on singles “Daydreaming” by Fistaz Mixwell and Mobi Dixon, as well as “Far Away” by DJ Anda featuring Mobi Dixon.
Following the success of Bhutiza in 2017, she was then signed to Top Chap Media, founded by Mobi Dixon.
The duo had just released a single together titled ‘Thobela’ – which has been making appearances in the top 100 weekly radio charts.
“I’m distraught. I will remember Nichume as a bright light at Top Chap Media where we signed her. She was not only my first artist, but we had grown so close in the past three years that she became my little sister. She truly is gone too soon. May her soul rest in peace,” Mobi Dixon paid tribute to her.
“We, as a family are in absolute shock as to what has happened. Learning that your sister has succumbed to emotions and taken her own life can never rest well. We obviously are left with a lot of questions but also know that she had one of the strongest characters in the family. Whatever she was feeling at that moment triggered immense hopelessness. We stand united as a family during this difficult time. Nichume was so loved and appreciated. We’re proud of all her achievements.” Said Qamani Siwundla.
An Onitsha-based Family is currently in a worried state following the alleged kidnapping of their one-year-old son, Chibueze Ezechukwu on Sunday, June 9.

So after all the preparation for wedding, the State Overseer of Bayelsa state called the chairman marriage committee of the church to suspend the wedding.
The message sent was “YOUR WEDDING IS SUSPENDED. TWO OF YOU ARE PLACED ON DISCIPLINE.” This was sent on Friday during the traditional marriage.
Please who does this? After all the preparation for wedding.
So the family of the bride drove to the State Overseer house to beg him to allow the wedding hold. The mother of the bride was rolling on the floor crying & begging the pastor. But the man refused to answer and walked out on them. Even Jesus Christ never did like that to sinners.

The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Sonny Echono has confirmed that every qualified and licensed teacher would be employed as part of efforts to rid the system of unqualified teachers.
He said this while monitoring the May Diet of the Teachers Professional Qualifying Examination (PQE) organised by the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) in Abuja on Saturday.
“We are dead serious about implementing the policy and we are also working very hard to ensure that we also are ready. The first thing that is going to happen is that TRCN and NTI are compiling a database of qualified teachers, those that have been certified, those who have taken this examination who are unemployed.
“And we are going to do it and even segregate them state by state and make them available to each state. That is going to be the starting point, that anybody who has been certified as a teacher should be employed because we have no excuse for that. We have a huge debt of qualified teachers, so all those that we have should be engaged to work, and all those who are not qualified we are sorry, we have to move them out of the system.
“Yes, there may be some issues relating to the number, that is why we want to ramp up the production process, we are taking so many measure. And, enforcement is very key. We have taken two steps towards ensuring enforcement. We have upgraded what we call quality assurance department. It used to be called inspectorate, we now have state offices in all the states of the federation.
“The second step is to re-establish the secondary education commission. It has just been approved by Mr President to come on board and we are working out the modalities for how they will operate. What they will be doing, apart from mobilising additional resources to that segment of our education sector, they will be enforcing standards. Indeed we are looking at even the possibility of collapsing our quality control and inspectorate division with the commission, to ensure we effectively monitor together with our colleagues in the state.
Echono reiterated that the deadline for flushing unqualified teachers from the classrooms remains December 31, adding that additional diets of the PQE may be conducted in order for teachers to meet up with the deadline.
The Permanent secretary commended TRCN for the smooth and simplified process of the examination describing it as being up to international standards.
“As you can see, it is all electronic. There are no huge crowd or delays; you come in, do your biometrics and when you log in, your picture is displayed. So, there is no issue of anyone sitting on your behalf.’’
30,000 teachers wrote the examination in 50 centres nationwide.
Brazilian and Paris Saint-Germain football star, Neymar could be cleared of all the rape accusation levied against him within days over lack of more evidence from his accuser.
According to a report by Mail Online, the accuser, Brazilian model Najila Trindade Mendes de Souza has been informed by her lawyer that she faces seeing her case against the Paris Saint-Germain star collapse except there is more evidence.
She also faces losing the second lawyer to represent her after he said he could not carry on if his professional ‘trust’ in her was compromised.
Trindade’s attorney, Danileo Garcia de Andrade said he still believed Ms. Trindade had a case, but he would step aside if there was a lack of evidence.
Mr. Daileo said he had given her a deadline to produce the video and photographs she claimed to have had which would help prove her allegations of rape against the Brazilian superstar. But if the evidence was not forthcoming, he said, he would drop the case next week.
Trindade who appeared on Brazilian TV, news station SBT for the first time last week, said she was the victim of ‘aggression and rape’ by the Paris Saint-Germain player in a hotel room in the French capital on May 15.
She claimed the encounter started out consensual but quickly turned violent, leaving her with bruises and scrapes to her legs and buttocks, with Neymar refusing to stop.
She told police her tablet containing a seven-minute video, messages and photos she alleged incriminated the footballer, was stolen in a burglary at her apartment. But the authorities said they found no major signs of a break-in and only Ms. Trindade’s fingerprints and those of her maid and friends around the flat.
Mr de Andrade told Brazil’s UOL Esporte: ‘If the police investigation of the supposed break-in where she lives shows there was no break-in, I am leaving the case.’

A Nigerian lady has got herself trending on social media following claims she “died” and “resurrected” days later.
Mhiz Gold Abi was reported dead and friends were shocked by the news. Some mourned her on social media. Days later, she took to her Facebook account to reveal she’s back to life.
As someone who just “came back from the dead” and “has seen heaven”, she told her Facebook friends that “heaven no easy oo.”
She also promised to share her experience later today and give further details of what happened to her.
A man identified as Jeremiah Obifor, 61, cut off the hand of an 11-year-old boy identified Goodluck Amechi using a sharp machete on Friday, June 7, at about 8:20a.m around Okokomaiko area of Lagos.
The reason for this gruesome action was because Mr. Jeremiah suspected the young Goodluck was stealing his catfish.
According to the Lagos State police spokesman, Bala Elkana:
“Doris reported at Okokomaiko Police Station that on the same date at about 8:20a.m. her foster son, Goodluck Amechi, of the same address, aged 11, was attacked with a machete by Jeremiah Obifor of No. 14, Isha Ibrahim Street, Mechanic bus stop, Mebamu, Okokomaiko and cut off his right hand.
“The victim was rushed to Igando General Hospital. The suspect alleged that he saw the victim around his fish pond and thought that he came to steal his fish, which was why he attacked him”.
President Buhari has accepted the voluntary retirement from service of Justice Walter Onnoghen as the Chief Justice of Nigeria.
According to a statement from Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the retirement takes effect from May 28th 2019. The President thanked Justice Onnoghen for his service to the Federal Republic of Nigeria and wished him the best of retirement life.
Justice Onnoghen who assumed office as CJN in March 2017, was suspended by President Buhari in January over false declaration of assets.

The President wrote: Pursuant to the provisions of Section 230(2) A&B of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended), I am pleased to request that you initiate in earnest the process of appointing additional five Justices of the Supreme Court of Nigeria to make the full complement of 21 Justices as provided by the aforementioned provisions of the Constitution.
This is in line with the Governments Agenda of repositioning the Judiciary in general and Supreme Court in particular for greater efficiency, with a view to reducing the backlogs of appeals pending at the Supreme Court.
Please accept, your Lordship, the assurances of my highest regards.

Nollywood’s Superstar Actress, Taraji P. Henson who recently started the Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation, named after her late father, to eradicate the stigma around mental health care in the African-American community.
The Acrimony star said ;
“The suicide rate has taken off. It amazes me that 5-year-olds are contemplating suicide. That’s a word you shouldn’t even understand at five years old, We don’t talk about mental health, we don’t deal with it. For generations, we’ve been told it’s a weakness, to pray our problems away and that’s just not gonna cut it”
She added ;
“If we can teach children about sex education and physical education, why not mental? That’s where we start attacking this issue: with the children.” Henson argues that if mental healthcare becomes a part of the school curriculum, then parents will be forced to talk about mental health care with their kids. “You’ve got to help me with my homework.”
The actress continues to speak out about her own struggles with anxiety and depression. “I feel like I’ve really found my purpose. It’s hard, but he knew it and he was able to get the help that he needed.”
Her father died in 2005, just two years after her son’s father, William Lamar Johnson, “was murdered, brutally in Washington, D.C.,” she recalls. “It was time for us to get help.”
Following that difficult time in her life, Henson says, finding a therapist she could trust was hard. “It was like looking for a purple unicorn with a 24-carat-gold-horn. I say that jokingly, but it’s serious. The reason why we don’t have many psychiatrists of color, or psychologists of color, or therapists of color, is because we don’t talk about it at home.”
Now, she talks to her therapist twice a week. In person, if she’s in town and if not, she chooses to Skype or Facetime. “I can call her at any time I’m having a moment and she’s there. I was blessed enough to find someone I really gel with. She gets me.” The mother of one and her fiancé Kelvin Hayden sometimes meet with her therapist together. “I want people to know it’s okay,.I don’t know what human is not suffering from some sort of anxiety or depression.”

A Catholic Priest who was accused by a woman over alleged rape has been suspended by the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh in the United States.
Rev. Fr. Cyprian Duru, was suspended by the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh in the United over accusation of rape by a 68-year-old retired English teacher, Kathy Coll.
The Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh in the United States has been banned the priest from ministering and presenting himself as a priest or wearing clerical garb.
The Accused, Father Duru
According to CBS Television, Coll in a legal suit, detailed how Duru stopped by her home in December 2016 on the pretense of giving her a Christmas card and allegedly raped her.
Coll claimed that when she offered him a cold drink, he followed her to her family room, overpowered her and assaulted her as she screamed for him to stop.
Since then, Coll claimed she has been trying to seek healing from the trauma of rape; adding that the shame, anxiety and depression were daunting.
“The hardest part was telling my pastor, who sat and cried with me and then notified the diocese,” Coll recalled.
Last week, she filed a suit against the St. Teresa of Avila Roman Catholic Church, the Pittsburgh diocese, and Bishop David Zubik.

The Dance school teacher and proud mother, also shared how her husband proposed and how they both cope working in the same industry.

Before your break, was there any point you felt like quitting?
No, I never did. Yes, I was frustrated about a lot of stuff going on around me and it was really tough. Imagine having to drink garri for seven months (laughter). But quitting wasn’t an option; it was never an option.
Your seventh wedding anniversary comes up this year. How has the journey been?
Like I always say, marriage is not for babies. It is not easy, we have our ups and downs, but we are still here together. It is by God’s grace.
How has motherhood transformed you?
Greatly. Motherhood helped me overcome depression. There are times when you are frustrated by everything around you and you feel the entire world is going to crash on your head. You just feel down but then you need to do stuff because you are a mum. You see, there is this genuine love that radiates from your child to you, and regardless of what is going on in the world, you know that this child loves you and the love is always fresh. And so I learnt to lock into that love and use it as a springboard to forge ahead, and then I begin to see that God loves me so much he decided to bless me with the child.
You and your husband work in the same industry and the belief is that such marriages don’t work, but you guys have been coasting along for the past seven years, what’s the secret?
For those that it doesn’t work for, I don’t know what their problem is. However, if you and your spouse are in the same industry, many factors can make it competitive and unhealthy. But it is also a good platform for you guys to understand each other. I always say it, my husband and I understood each other from the very beginning, but we grew and are still learning; this is just the seventh year.
Was it love at first sight?
It was friendship and not that butterflies in your stomach scenario (laughter). We were two friends that just grew comfortably with each other, and then love happened, and here we are today.
How did he pop the question?
He put food in the microwave and complained that I had not warmed the food, and I was like ‘oh, I have already warmed it’. But he insisted that I warm it again and I grudgingly went to the kitchen, and when I opened the microwave, lo and behold, I saw an engagement ring. Today, the rest is history, even though I was in shock because I wasn’t expecting to find a ring inside the microwave (laughter).

Annie spoke with 234stars, and she said she is not a feminist and does not believe that a woman can be King. Annie says a woman can only be a Queen and not a King. When asked if she is a Feminist, the mum of two said.
“No, not really but I believe in women empowerment. I believe that men are still Kings and women are queens. I don’t believe a woman is a king”.

According to an Instagram User who narrated the incident, Peruzzi assaulted Pamilerin because of a tweet that was posted sometime in January 2019.

A Ghanaian Model, Miss. Grace Ama Mensimah Amponsah has gone missing a day after arriving in Paris where she had been billed to feature at 4 major shows in Monaco and the just concluded Cannes Film Festival..
She was also scheduled to have follow up meeting with the worlds leading modeling agency Elite Models, in Paris.
Grace was on a roller-coaster, after winning Ghana’s Next Super Model on the 28th December 2018, plans for 2019 has been been rolled out, she was to walk for fashion shows in Paris, Milan, New York, London, Amsterdam and Istanbul as part of her contract with Ghana’s Next Super Model.
She had already done shows in Nigeria, Ghana and Amsterdam with world class designers Diana Pinto,Smocky world and Kingsley Ushie ,Grace has already been flown to Portugal and Amsterdam to participate in the International Fashion weeks and the current trip was to solidify her status with modelling agencies in all the major fashion capitals.
According to reports from Ghana, she had already done shows in Nigeria,Ghana and Amsterdam with world class designers including Diana Pinto, Smocky world and Kingsley Ushie and has already been flown to Portugal and Amsterdam to participate in the Internatonal Fashion weeks and the current trip was to solidify her status with modelling agencies in all the major fashion capitals.
During the trip to Paris, her management claimed they stepped out of their rented apartment to buy drinks only to return to a locked door. Later when they broke into the apartment worried about the safety of Grace, they found she had disappeared along with her passport and other documents leaving behind her luggage.
After Grace’ disappearance, her management contacted the Paris police and they saw her on CCTV as she ran away. Further investigation discovered that the plot to vanish in Paris was a scheme conceived by her family and planned even before her departure from Ghana.
According to her management, the plan was assisted by Sarah Essien (her mother) who provided Grace the information on how to escape and link with family members already in France.

Lagos State Police Command has finally released a statement that confirms that the lady who raised an alarm in Lagos on Friday June 6th, claiming that her husband wanted to use her and their children for rituals, is mentally unstable.
Recall, we brought you reports/video of a woman who was ‘rescued’ on Friday after she claimed her husband and his friends were on their way to a secret place to kill her.
A swift intervention from the police helped in rescuing the husband and his brother from being lynched by the mob who had thought they were indeed ritualists.

The state police command has now released a statement confirming that the woman is indeed mentally unstable and was being taken to the hospital when she raised the false alarm.

Arrest of alleged ‘Kidnappers for money ritual’ and rescue of Victims…Police warn against Jungle Justice.
On 6th June ,2019 at about 12.45pm, the Command’s control room received a distress call that a mob action is going on at Lawanson junction, Itere.
Anti crime patrol team led by the Divisional Police Officer Itere, CSP Odey Ogah was prompted deployed to the scene. One Justina Emmanuel ‘f’ of No 10 Bishop Okogie Street Ago and her one and a half year old daughter, Munachisom Agugom were rescued.
Two suspects namely: Joseph Agugom ‘m’ and Paul Agugom ‘ m’ both of the same address with the victms, were rescued from the mobs. They were alleged to have kidnapped the victims for ritual purposes. One Honda CRV car with Registration No. LAGOS FST 587 BU, one LG Phone , one iPhone, One bag containing two flasks, three pieces of rope, one black para military belt and one green beret were recovered.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim is married to one of the suspects, Joseph Agugom and the child belongs to both of them. It was also revealed that the victim is suffering from mental illness and she is being transported to hospital when she raised alarm and some members of the public stopped the car and descended on the suspects.
Members of both the suspects and victims family came to the station and made statements to the effect that the victim is suffering from mental illness and was actually being transported to hospital.
The other two children of the victim with her husband, were brought to the Station, contrary to the allegations of the victim that they were killed by the husband for money ritual. The victim was taken to hospital by the Police for medical examination. Police has launched a manhunt on those who participated in the mob action with a view of bringing them to justice.
Members of the Public are strongly advised to be more careful not to jump into conclusions on alarm raised by anybody. Innocent persons have suffered death or bodily harm and inhuman treatment through jungle justice. Members of the Public have the powers to arrest anybody suspected of a crime but the law provides that such persons arrested should be handed over to the Police immediately.
It is only investigating that can determine the truthfulness or otherwise of the allegations. And our laws presumes the accused person to be innocent until proven guilty by Court of competent jurisdiction.
The Lagos state police command have arrested a 61-year-old man identified as Jeremiah Obifor, for cutting off the hand of an 11year-old boy identied as Goodluck Amechi, in the Okokomaiko area of the state.
A statement by the command’s spokesperson, Bala Elkana, says on Friday June 7th, a lady identified as Doris Isaac of No. 6 Ajanaku Street, Okoko reported at Okoko Police Station that on the same date at about 8.20am, her foster son, Goodluck was attacked with a matchet by one Jeremiah and cut off his right hand.
The victim was rushed to Igando General Hospital. The suspect alleged that he saw the victim around his fish pond and thought that he came to steal his fish, that is why he attacked him.
Investigation is ongoing and the suspect will be charged to Court.
Nigerian Singer, Davido has taken to his twitter page to reveal that his account is under serious threat as someone is trying to illegally gain access to it.
