Here are the photos from Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo’s white wedding to his beautiful bride, Gifty Mawunya Nkornu.
In one of the photos, the Ghanaian actor could be seen staring into the eyes of his wife Gifty as if to say that finally he has her for the rest of his life and she in a very romantic way doing the same.
They both had their maid of honour in the person of Gifty’s best friend Nadia Buari, and Fred Nuamah, respectively, standing by them to show support.
Before John Dumelo’s white wedding on Saturday with Gifty, they had had their engagement last year on May 12, 2018.
Gifty had her bridal shower with her friends and her best friend Nadia Buari didn’t miss it for anything.
The actor on May 12 2018, married his longtime girlfriend in a beautiful traditional ceremony at Spintex in Accra.
The traditional marriage took place at the residence of his fiancée then, Gifty Mawunya Nkornu.
The colourful ceremony was attended by friends, family and well-known celebrities from Ghana and Nigeria including former President John Mahama, Yvonne Nelson, Yvonne Okoro, Prince David Osei, Ramsey Nouah, Majid Michel, Sandra Ankobiah, Nadia Buari and Jackie Appiah.

John Dumelo and his wife welcomed their first child, a boy, six months after their marriage, making people believe that Gifty Mawunya, now Dumelo, was indeed pregnant before the marriage.
A Nigerian Writer and Social Media Influencer identified as SugaBelly has taken to her page to write reasons on why a child should bear his/her mothers’ surname.
The popular writer argued that the fact the woman is the one who brings forth the child into the world, is a valid reason for the child to bear her surname.
Her tweet reads ;
Everyone fights so much about women taking their husband’s name when the real issue is why should the child bear the father’s surname when women are the ones who face death to give birth, and the ones who do majority of all child care worldwide?
A quote from The Story of Yanxi Palace:
When a woman gives birth, one of her feet steps into the gates of Hell.
And it’s actually true. Every woman who gets pregnant knows or should know that there is a distinct chance of her not making it out of the labour room alive.
That’s the reason why the first statement always made about a new birth is “Mother and child are both healthy”
Media Personality, Daddy Freeze has taken to his IG page to counter the view/teaching of a certain Pastor Victor Eghan who argued that “Christians who watch the HBO hit series GAME OF THRONES, will go to hell”. (Read here)
Freeze wrote ;
Dear Pastor,
It is absolutely unscholarly and downright hypocritical to tell people to stop watching Game of Thrones without telling them to also stop reading the Bible, because there is hardly any difference between the storylines of both.
–
❌ Game of Thrones had 865 deaths, the Bible had more than 2 million. David killed 200 men and cut their foreskins just to marry Saul’s daughter.
(1st SAMUEL 18:27)
–
❌Game of Thrones had 17 rape cases. The Bible also had many:
David’s daughter Tamar was raped by her own brother Amnon, Dinah, daughter of Jacob and Leah, was also raped and her brothers committed murder in their revenge, while many scholars suggest that David himself raped Bathsheba, Solomon’s mother. Solomon also murdered his own brother Adonijah because of a girl called Abishag.
–
❌Game of Thrones had 144 scenes of naked people, the Bible also has a major scene; David dancing almost naked (Some Scholars say totally naked), in front of the the whole city, while Christ himself was stripped naked publicly and beaten before being crucified.
–
❌ There are a lot of porn stars in Game of Thrones.. Well, the very first porn movie recorded, was shot live on the roof, while the entire Israel watched as David’s son Absalom slept with 10 of his concubines publicly.
◄ 2 Samuel 16:22 ►
NIV
So they pitched a tent for Absalom on the roof, and he slept with his father’s concubines in the sight of all Israel.
–
❌ You say there are prostitutes in game of thrones? Aren’t Christ, David and Solomon all descendants of a prostitute named Rahab? Mary was a prostitute and so also was Tamar, who slept with her father in law.
◄ Genesis 38:24 ►
NIV
About three months later Judah was told, “Your daughter-in-law Tamar is guilty of prostitution.
–
Therefore, this submission is ignorant and does very little to showcase anything apart from your ignorance of the scriptures.
–
I watch GOT with my family, if there is a scene I find unfit, I screen it out.
–
Kindly read the Bible verse below and tell me if you dont find it unfit for children. ~FRZ

Rappers, Naira Marley and Zlatan Ibile are still in EFCC custody, and singer, Burna Boy has pleaded to the commission to release them for his show, which held last night.
Taking to his page, Burna who’s a big fan of Zlatan wrote; “You see am now? No Zanku for my show Today. My Day is ruined. @officialefcc Na beg I dey beg una. PLEASE FREE da guys.”
He continued, “Ba wo la fe GBE BODY WA nisin??”
Marley, Zlatan alongside three others were arrested on Friday in connection with an alleged case of internet fraud and money laundering.
Ayo Shonaiya wrote about their arrest, saying that the Commission had made the singers Legends!
‘When I saw the picture posted today by EFCC about the “arrest” of Naira Marley, Zlatan Ibile and other persons, I had mixed emotions. On one hand, I liked it because this is “that picture”. Just like world famous celebrities who have at some point in their lives (often during their youth) run afoul of the Law, and their mugshots become famous, even to the point of people printing it on T-shirts’.
Lil’ Wayne, James Brown, Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, Frank Sinatra, the Kray Twins, Hugh Grant, and of course notorious drug lord & the ultimate baddest outlaw, Pablo Escobar! Remember Pablo Escobar used drug money to “help” the Colombian economy? And loads of Colombians prayed for him. You know in the Nigerian music industry we have Bad, Baddo, Baddest, & Young Pablo. I myself even appeared in a short film recently called “Narcos Lagos”!
It’s all creativity and Art. Believe it or not, they have just made Naira Marley & Zlatan future legends!!! And I promise you I love all these guys. The ones that know me personally know this. Bad ass creative minds!
But, on the other hand, the infamous mugshots of the other “legends” were for what I call “personal” crimes. Even though every crime is bad, they were not crimes that labelled their countrymen & women with a negative identity, & also didn’t adversely affect the reputations of millions of their fellow citizens (maybe Colombia with the drugs, but you get my point).
The crime in question in the EFCC pic is FRAUD! Let’s stop saying “Yahoo Yahoo” because it has obviously become cool to a lot of youths now. We desperately need to re-strategise the war against crime in our country, from the “top” to the bottom.
So, while the other mugshots are for personal crimes that only themselves got punished for, our own future legends pic is about glamourising a crime that 180 MILLION Nigerians pay for everyday, in all ramifications & all over the world, as we are ALL seen as fraudsters and thieves.
This is the painful difference between the other infamous pictures & our own. And this is why, on the real, I am also sad about this picture.

Delectable Nollywood Actress, Nse Ikpe-Etim, 44, has revealed that she had to remove her womb to live a normal life.
The actress who stars in ‘Heaven’s Hell’ which was premiered in the cinemas on Friday, recently shared her story at an event tagged ‘Conversation with Nse.’
Nse also revealed that she was never going to be able to have a baby as she was diagnosed three years ago with Adenomyosis, a condition whereby the inner lining of the uterus breaks through the muscle wall of the uterus.
“I was told I couldn’t have kids,” she said to the now sombre audience.
“And so, I had to have a hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) to make me have a life again and to stop going through what I was going through. And I’m literarily telling women and men, it really doesn’t matter if you can’t bear children. What really matters is what you would do for the world, for the universe. Tears dropped and then my husband squeezed my hand. It was reassuring there was someone there and it was telling me that this is reality, my reality.”
As the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, released the results of the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations, UTME, a 15-year-old boy from Abia State emerged the best candidate by scoring 347 marks considered as the highest by the board.
Similarly, a 16-year-old boy from Abia State came second by scoring 346 marks just as a 17-year-old from Osun State trailed behind with 345, considered by the board as the third best result in the 2019 UTME.
But the Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, who announced this at a media briefing, Saturday, however, said the best candidate may not be admitted in the University of Lagos, which he chose as his first choice because of age. He gave the names of the three best candidates as Ekene Franklin;Igban Emmanuel Chidiebube and Oluwo Isaac Olamilekan Oloyede did not disclose the intended courses of the best performing students. Oloyede insisted that although the best scored candidate applied as an undergraduate at the University of Lagos, he may not get admitted on account of being under-aged.
Franklin was followed by Emmanuel Chidiebube from Abia state, aged 16, who came second with 346 points, while Isaac Olanilekon who applied to study at Obafemi Awolowo University(OAU) came third, scoring 345.
According to the examination body, some of the pranks which candidates deployed to undermine the process included, multiple registration, impersonation, deliberate distruption of the examination process, manipulation of biometrics, collusion of some private CBT centres with parents, syndicate of closed centres as well as extortion of candidates.
He explained that these infractions accounted for the delays in releasing the results, noting that the agency has been taking pains to screen the candidates biometric details with a view to uncovering those who engaged in multiple registration.
Oloyede while giving a breakdown of the results, said some students registered 42 times using same finger prints, multiple names in a particular centre but the biometric verification system deployed by the board uncovered their identity and facilitated their arrest.
“Some of the strategies deployed to compromise the integrity of the examination were multiple registration. “It would be recalled that JAMB had cautioned in the media that no candidate should register more than once and that multiple registrations adversely affect data which impact negatively on education planning in the country.
“We went further to announce that any candidate who wishes to gain admission through Direct Entry and had registered for UTME need not apply for DE separately but use the opportunity of an upgrade to the DE status at no cost without having to register more than once. Double registrations led to the cancellation of some results last year but we realised that this year not only double registrations but also multiple registrations were recorded.
“Someone for instance registered as many as 23 times for just a single examination! the foundation of examination malpractice is laid at the point of registration with the active connivance of some CBT centre owners who allowed themselves to be infiltrated by those who parade themselves as owners of tutorial classes.
“Unfortunately, some elite institutions that charge exorbitant fees, which they had made the parents part with in the name of secondary education, became active in the procurement of ‘best results’ for their students at all costs. These characters have permeated the system such that it is Herculean to confront and dislodge them. When one of the examination bodies recently decided that one category of teachers would not supervise its public examinations, all hell was let loose. However, the truth of the matter is that the body is correct in its resolve”.
Lamenting how candidates now engage in impersonation, the JAMB Boss said, “in the 2019 UTME, we were able to identify a large number of impersonators who have been writing UTME for candidates. Most of the tutorial masters specialize in recruiting such professional writers for the candidates.
“They do so by using the names directly or variants of the name or by multiple registrations. An example is Anambra State where two centres registered a large number of impersonating candidates. (PICTURE) In such cases, the results of the candidates have been cancelled and the CBT centres delisted.
“We have also tracked the registration centres and the computers used. In cases where we were able to ascertain the culpability of the centres, we delisted them. Where we have doubts, our principle is that we would rather allow 10 criminals to go scot-free than allow an innocent person to be unjustly punished”.
A Nigerian dad broke down in tears while giving his daughter out in marriage and said, “if its possible for one to marry his daughter, I will never give you out in marriage“.

To the couple’s utter astonishment, Mrs. Manji got pregnant last year – shortly after Mrs. Manji told her husband she was pregnant, they went to the hospital, only to be told after a scan that she will be having a set of quadruplets.
The news was as exciting as it was shocking.
Mrs. Manji, 33, who works with the Plateau State government, is the first to have quadruplets in the state.
“There are records of twins in my mother’s family, but I am the first to have quadruplets in our family and even in the state,” she said. “The pregnancy was quite peaceful and stress free, but it made me eat heavily.”

A mortuary attendant in Ghana has revealed how Dead body water is being purchased by some pastors in the country for as much as N500,000.
In a report by Yen Gh, a female mortuary worker was seen in a video narrating how the water is in high demand.
According to the lady whose identity was hidden, the pastors pay as much as GH₵7,000, for the water, and sometimes they even have shortage.
She explained that some family members prefer to have their corpses bathed at the mortuary, and this is the water that the pastors come to buy.
She said when the floor is mopped, the cleaners squeeze the dirty water out and keep it in bottles which the pastors come for in disguise.
A Morgue in Ghana
Describing it as a ‘side job’, the mortuary worker confessed to be doing this business in order to earn more money, explaining that the work in itself does not fetch them much.
“Even at this our job we don’t get much from it. But with this, sometimes we can’t even meet up with the demand from the pastors. We most of the time run out of water”
She, however, did not mention the names of the pastors and the churches, perhaps, for fear of being victimised.
“The pastors buy the water, it is in high demand. When the cleaners mop the floor after a corpse is bathed, they squeeze the dirty water into containers which the pastors come to buy,” the lady narrated.
The water is being used by the pastors who patronise it to perform miracles in their churches.
“Most of these pastors use the water to perform miracles for members of their church” she said
Budding Nollywood actress, Blessing Ezeaka, has stated that veteran actress, Tonto Dikeh’s failed marriage won’t stop her from having her own husband.
The actress in a recent interview with Pearlsnews.com, opened up on the challenges facing actresses in the ever competitive Nollywood industry.
“I started acting in 2017. My first job was with Prime World Movie production. I had to join the Industry because acting is part of me.

Most times the fear of being in an unsecured set location and sexual intimidation by people at the top scare me.
Movie Directors and producers often try to take advantage of me by asking for sex before giving me a movie role. That is one of the major challenges I face. But I always turn them off because giving my body out for a role is not what I bargained for”
She however mentioned that colleague Tonto Dikeh’s failed marriage will not deter her from taking the same step into marriage:
“That is their own problems. I must definitely have a family so I don’t pray to have issues beyong control in my relationship. I want a God fearing man.
A man that would love and respect me. Right now, I’m in a relationship with a man who understands my kind of job and never gets jealous watching me take romantic scenes in movies.
I can’t act porn movie or anything that involves n*dity.” she said

The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board has announced the release of the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.
The results of the April 11 and 17 university admissions tests had long been expected, but the board said they were delayed by investigations into suspected cheating. At a press conference in Abuja on Saturday, the registrar of the board, Ishaq Oloyede, said the results of 1,792,719 candidates were released.
Thousands of results were withheld because investigations were still ongoing, he said. “Today, we are releasing the results of 1,792,719 candidates. Some 34,120 results are being withheld including the results of 15,145 candidates being further clarified as identical twins and siblings,” he said.
He said 1,886,508 candidates registered for the exams across the country. The number includes candidates who registered at foreign centres. “Out of this number, which excludes the Direct Entry candidates, 59,667 were absent. A total of 1,826,839 sat the UTME,” he said.

Chris Attoh’s second wife Bettie Jenifer has reportedly died in the U.S after being shot!

Veteran Nigerian rapper, Micheal Ugochukwu Stephens, better known as Ruggedman, was recently engaged in a war of words with singer, Naira Marley.
The rift started after Ruggedman expressed his opinion on how he felt Naira Marley was misleading the public with his position on cybercrime.
And yesterday, Naira Marley was arrested by the EFCC for promoting cyber crime.
In an interview with Saturday Beats, the rap artiste said,
“I gave my opinion about Naira Marley’s message on fraud because fraud is obviously a criminal act. It is outrageous for any young artiste to come out and publicly say it is not a crime. Aside from the fact that I am a veteran in the music industry.
I’m older than he is so I have to caution such remarks. If I don’t, it has the ability to ruin the whole community because after his comments, many people began to say that all musicians are into fraud.
“I cannot sit down and watch all the years of hard work I used to build my brand as Ruggedman go down the drain; it’s making everyone in the music industry look like a fraudster. That was why I spoke out,” he said.
Reacting to being called an ‘old book’ on the shelf in the Nigerian music industry, Ruggedman noted that there was nothing being said on social media that could move him emotionally.
And about insulting me; it is a free world on social media; it is a different case if he can say it to my face. I am not a keyboard gangster; I do stuff in the real world.
I only use social media to promote my music and people who are in need. If anyone has issues with me; if they are man enough to face me, then they should. What people say on social media doesn’t matter to me as long as it won’t tarnish my image. I want everyone to know that if Naira Marley is saying fraud is not a crime; he is on his own. No young artiste should try to justify or glorify crime,” he added.
Big Brother Naija star, Uriel Oputa shared new photos of herself where she’s caked with heavy makeup on her IG page and a troll, upon seeing her photos, said she looked like a “demon possessed human”.

Following the controversial arrest of Nigerian singer, Naira Marley by the EFCC, former Big Brother Naija housemate, Deeone took to his IG page to commend the EFCC for arresting singer Naira Marley, who has openly shown his support for internet fraudsters.
Deeone wrote,

Last Month, the popularity of Teen Actress, Regina Daniels Skyrocketed as most entertainment blogs became engrossed with her alleged marriage to a 59 year old man identified as Ned Nwoko.
While so many fans frowned at the act, others lauded the actress for seemingly securing her future/destiny by getting wedded into riches. Others were also of the view that love goes deeper than ages (In so far they are old enough).
While Regina Daniels’ case generated clout, they are other similar cases of some young beautiful Nigerians that married a much older man, for convenience.

When talking about the list of top ‘besties’ in the Nigerian music industry, singers, Waje and Omawumi, would be at the top of the list.
The duo have been friends for so long that they recently launched an entertainment outfit together.
Omawumi shared the secret to their longtime friendship. She noted that although they had issues from time to time, they always found ways to work things out.
The songstress said, “It is very easy to work with women, especially those that are professionals. Sometimes, people have the impression that women are supposed to be slow and that we do not grasp things easily but the truth is that women are one of the best multitaskers in the world. So, when you give a woman a task, she thinks of how she can be the best at the job and also the best version of herself so that you can come back and work with her.
Veteran rapper, Ruggedman has reacted to the arrest of Nigerian singer, Naira Marley, who have both been in logger head for the past few day.
Ruggedy baba made this known in an interview he had recently with, CITY FM, saying he was happy Naira Marley was arrested because the singer played himself.
According to rugged man, he was expecting to see the singer’s supporters at the EFCC office to burst him out but he never saw any.
Ruggedman, further said Naira Marley himself by promoting the “Yahoo Yahoo” business, which everyone have been campaigning against.

TRUE LIFE STORY
We live in a very trying and perilous times. A very dear friends undergraduate’s 17yr old son got drowned at the Dome hotel pool in abuja last weekend. He was in the company of his friends. The friends didn’t report to the hotel mgt what happened nor to the deceased’s (Emmanuel Balogun) parents. They went back to the school (Uni Abuja) hostel immediately after the incident.
On Monday a young girl from uni abuja called the mother of the deceased that they did not see Emmanuel her son in class. She went further to tell the parents it’s like something has happened to Emma and ended the call. The mother called back the line but it was switched off. She notified her husband & they immediately placed a call to their sons number and it was off. They drove that Monday night to their sons hostel but met his absence. They now got information that a party was thrown for fresh year students over the weekend at the Dome hotel in town. They set forth for the hotel. The hotel mgt told them there was a case of drowning in their hotel over the when’d & directed them to the police.
The police now led them to the mortuary, lo & behold it was their son. Yesterday morning, myself & the deceased uncle went to the police to see the CCTV footage of what transpired @ the hotel. What I saw and later heard yesterday was unbelievable. From the CCTV, we noticed the deceased entered the pool with 3 of his friends and around 3.33am he started struggling in the pool.
His friends where all watching him until he stopped struggling and drowned. They all left the pool immediately and one took his handset the other took his trouser and brought out the money inside the pocket and wore his shoes. They left the hotel around 4.18am according to the footage we saw. The police went to the school & effected the arrest of the trio and mgt of the hotel.
At the DIG’s office yesterday afternoon, I heard something that has being giving me cold shivers all through yesterday and right now. One of the boys said that he wanted to raise an alarm to save the boy but the other two boys asked him not to. That the deceased is always doing shakara because his father his rich, he went further to say that the other one said all the girls are always admiring the deceased so he should let him be joor. This are just mere 17/18yr old boys ???.
Watching the CCTV footage where the friends were watching him drown and collectively decided, cos there was a time they grouped together to discuss for about a minute & from the confession of one of them is not only traumatic for me but also disheartening. They watched their “Friend” die out of jealousy & envy ?. According to them, it was the deceased that paid 2k each gate fee for them and also bought fish and juice which they all drank. This are mere teenagers with that kind of heart.
My people, be extra careful for people you call your friends. According to the DIG, A lot of people are being murdered daily cos of envy from friends. No doubt, There are good and wonderful friends but also, know ye, there are also friend-enemy everywhere. So be extra careful and prayerful cos the love of many has really waxed cold. ??. The young man was buried today amid tears ? according to the wishes of his parents but his wicked friends & hotel mgt are still in police custody at the force headquarters as we speak. May none of us bury any of our children or young ones in Jesus name. Amen.
Beware of jealous & Envious friends they are more lethal and toxic than acid. ????????????. Below ??is the picture of the young man whose death would have being avoided. ??
A female senior lecturer (name withheld) in one of the tertiary institutions in Rivers State has given graphic details of her ordeals in the hands of kidnappers.
She recounted how she was raped in the forest of Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers and miraculously escaped from the kidnappers’ den.
Amid tears, she told her horrific story on Friday at the 6 Division of Nigerian Army, Port Harcourt shortly after the Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Aminu Iliyasu, handed over the three men who confessed to have kidnapped her to SARS.
The victim, who was accompanied by her husband and a female relative, said: “I was in my house in Port Harcourt on April 30, 2019. I was alone with my children and my husband’s cousin. They were sleeping in the room.
“I was washing with machine at the balcony. Since it was around 8 p.m., there was a programme I always watched on Zee World.
“As I was washing my clothes, I was watching the programme. The main gate was locked, but the protector was open, since I had to go downstairs to get water.
“I was in the living room, when I noticed that the protector opened slightly. I was wondering, because if my husband returned from work, he would horn and I would have to go and open the main gate for him.
“I was wondering who was there. The other person who was supposed to come back from work was sleeping. The next thing I saw was the key to the main door opened.
“Then I saw two guys first, pointing a gun at me. One of them cocked the gun and he asked after my husband but I said he had not closed from work.
“He then angrily asked why he had not closed from work at that time. I told him I wouldn’t know. He asked me to cooperate otherwise they would finish me, saying they were not playing with me.”
She went on: “He asked of my ATM card and PIN. I gave him. He asked if I had money in the house I said no but I had gold, which could be sold for N50, 000 but they rejected it.
“One person took our television, another took the laptop. I was tying a wrapper with spaghetti top since I was in my house. They then asked me to follow them.
“One of them asked me to get a dress but they did not let me leave the living room. The dress I wore to school that day was on my room’s door. They brought it for me and I wore it.
“They asked of my car’s key, I brought it out and I gave it to them. That was how they put me in my vehicle and as they were about to drive out, they found it difficult because of the space we share with our neighbour and they were hitting my neighbour’s fence.
“My neighbour came out and I said I was in trouble. Maybe he did not see me. The kidnappers put my head under the car’s seat and they drove off. I did not know the direction they followed.
“We then got to a place that was not motorable. So, we had to come down. That was how we started the journey inside the bush. I asked them what I did but they did not respond.
“That day, they paid me salary. I told them to let me give them the salary that was transferred to me.
“One of them then gave me an account number, which I forwarded my salary N59, 000 to. As we were still going inside the bush, he called someone to confirm if the person had received the alert.
“We later saw river that got to my knees. The leader pulled his trousers but I had to carry my dress up. That night, we spent about two hours in the bush, just moving around and I was barefooted because they did not allow me to wear slippers, thereby giving me injuries.
“They later blindfolded me and we got to a place where they said that was where we would stay that night. I slept on bare ground in the open forest.
“The next morning, out of the two of them that followed me inside the bush, one of them left, remaining one who told me that if I did not cooperate with him, to allow him to sleep with me four other persons would come in the afternoon and they would have me.
“But if I allowed him to sleep with me, he would let me go. I told him I would not be able to do it. When I was still sitting on the floor, he masked himself with his dress and he raped me.
“Later in the afternoon, I stood there and I cried. If I shouted, I would not have received help. It was indeed abush although I could hear the sound of passing vehicles.”
The woman added: “When it rained heavily, we were all under the rain. I was completely wet. They removed their clothes and had only their boxer shorts.
“After the rain, they cleaned themselves and wore their clothes. That was the only dress I had and I could not go naked. I was so cold.
“Later in the day, another one came and he asked me if I would eat but I said I was not hungry. He said I should eat in order not to die in the forest.
“He said if I died, they would still collect the ransom. They later brought packed food: fried rice with two fried meat and sachet water with orange juice for me but I could not eat because I did not have appetite. I just managed to take the sachet water and the two pieces of meat.
“The elderly one that came seemed nicer. He said they would never rape their victims but I told him the other one had already raped me.
“He was surprised and went back to ask him. He confirmed raping me. He said in their culture, it was forbidden and that before they would let me go, they would do something.
“I told them I am a Christian and I would not be part of it. I said I had forgiven him and left him to God. He said when they got to our house and if they had seen N500, 000, they would not have carried me.
“He said teachers’ money (ransom) was N5 million, but if my husband could raise N3 million, they would let me go.
“Around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, they asked of what I would eat but I said I was not hungry but I asked them to call my people.
“They then called my husband, but he was calm and he said he had no money again since they had collected the over N100, 000 he had with the ATM card.
“That was when I knew that they had collected the money. I begged them to let me go but they asked me to shut up, claiming that I was talking too much.
“When they noticed that I was very cold, they said they would take me to where I could warm myself. We then went further into the bush.
“In the place, it was like a shed with fire place. We slept on three benches overnight. Early the next morning, we left the place. As we were about changing location, one of them said he was not comfortable with where he was going and to go back to where we were.
“We then went back to where we were on Wednesday. While we were there, I had strength and I knew that members of my church were praying for me. I knew that my God would not let me down.
“I told God that after all my suffering, the kidnappers would not take the requested N3 million from my husband. They said my husband promised to call them before 12 noon on that day to drop the ransom.
“So, they were happy. One went to sleep, while the other took his phone and went away. I waited for a while, the one that went to make call was not coming.
“I did as if I wanted to urinate, the one that was sleeping did not ask me to come back. I saw it as an opportunity to escape. That was how I ran away.
“God helped me in the bush and I was following the sun but I was seriously injured and bleeding. I later came out of the bush and I saw a road.
“I did not know where I was. I was stopping vehicles but the dress I wore was so dirty. So, no vehicle was stopping for me. I then saw two guys in a vehicle, they helped me.
