A Nigerian lady who identified as @Harsaannaarh Sulayeemahn has shared via her Facebook page how a trader tried to extort more money from her over a product she wanted to buy because he was the only seller available.

Sharing a picture of the good she wanted to purchase she revealed that the vendor increased the amount of the product by N1000.

The lady who had visited the market to purchase vegetable oil said the vendor decided to increase the price after noticing that he was the only one available and she couldn’t purchase the product anywhere else within that vicinity.

The product that the vendor wanted to sell for N3,500, she disclosed that she purchased it somewhere else for N2,400.

The price differences ignited the lady causing her to come online to rant about how vendors inflate the prices of their products and blame it on the state of the economy.

In a shocking incident, the police in Lagos state have successfully arrested a 40-year-old woman, identified as Akintola Alima, for allegedly invading a primary school in the Ijegun area of the state and abducting three young pupils

A Ghanaian lady has taken to social media to express her discontent over the excessive size of a pedestrian bridge in Ghana.

Sharing on TikTok, the lady identified as @naaadjeleysolomon stated that the footbridge is the most ridiculous construction she has ever come across in her entire life.

Revealing an exterior video of the whole pedestrian bridge, the lady queried the professionalism of the engineer. She noted that the construction work is unfit for a pedestrian bridge; the architectural design seems unskillful to her.

She explained that the bridge is stressful to walk on especially because one might miss their way while walking on it; the bridge probably leads to nowhere. She lamented that climbing the pedestrian bridge is really exhausting.

The Ghanian lady said,

“This is the most stupid overhead i have seen in my whole entire fucking life…in what world does these kind of engineering make sense.”

The exterior video of the pedestrian bridge has gained traction online from netizens across various social media platforms. Internet users have shared their opinion, with some stating the bridge is an advantage to the physically challenged and to caution pedestrian from crossing the highway to avoid road accident while others opined the bridge was constructed to embezzle government funds.

Popular Nigerian comedian and actor, Seyi Law has tendered a public apology to media personality, Noble Igwe after promising to beat him up.

Recall that during an interview, Seyi Law vowed to beat up Noble Igwe whenever he saw him and would never forgive him until he apologised to his wife.

He further revealed that the media personality made a post during the 2023 general elections, including his wife’s name in it, which drew unwarranted jabs at her.

In a recent development, Seyi Law tweeted that he had a conversation with Noble Igwe and that he greatly respects his duty to his people.

He claimed to have apologised to him for any offensive tweets he had seen directed towards the Igbo people. Additionally, Seyi Law expressed gratitude to him for being a wonderful guy and for contacting his wife.

Popular Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic has explained her decision to take a break from making appearances in Nollywood films.

The 48-year-old actress said that she came to the UK in 2002 and gave up acting and life as a celebrity because she was resolving personal matters.

Rita Dominic disclosed that she began working as a carer for people with special needs while in the UK during her speech at the 2024 Women of Valour Conference in Accra, Ghana.

She claimed that although some would consider her work as a carer to be a step-down, she didn’t since she found fulfilment and purpose in helping others.

The actress said;

“In 2001/2002 I stopped acting. I left the [movie] industry and moved to London because it was a very dark period in my life. I fell out with some friends I considered family. And I just gave up acting for a while. I needed to get out of that space for a minute.

And then I moved to London and gave up stardom. You won’t believe this, this is something I’ve never told people before.

While in London, I was trying to make ends meet so I started working in a care home as a caregiver for adults with spec!al needs. While some might view it as a step-down, I don’t. Taking care of others brought me joy and purpose at a time I needed it most.”

A trending video of a couple arriving at their wedding reception on bikes has captured the attention of netizens online.

Sharing on TikTok @notinternational captioned that it was a biker’s wedding, revealing that the groom is a professional biker.

In a celebratory moment, the couple were recorded entering the event hall in a power bike. The couple arrived their reception with different bikes. As seen in the video, two groomsmen was captured riding the bikes, that conveyed the couple to the wedding hall.

Well wishers present in the event hall erupted in jubilation upon the arrival of the newly wedded couple on bikes.

However, the bride was spotted feeling uncomfortable on the bike as her bridal train style made her inconvenient; her bridesmaid had to quickly wrapped the extra piece around her to avoid it from moving with the bike’s tyre.

The trending video has ignited mixed reactions on social media, as many opined the couple kind of entrance was unnecessary because of the exhaust released from the bike and into the air in an enclosed space is harmful.

Nigerian woman recounts how her baby was almost swapped after birth as she advises women to go for Immediate DNA testing after birth (VIDEO)

A Nigerian woman has shared her experience of almost having her baby swapped after delivery, leading her to propose that DNA tests should be conducted immediately following childbirth.

She recounted her story during a discussion on paternity fraud on a TVC program.

In 2003, she and another woman gave birth on the same day.

However, to her surprise when she gave birth, she was handed a chubby baby girl, despite a previous scan indicating she was expecting a boy.

When she questioned the differences of the sex, the nurses at the General hospital insisted that the baby presented to her was indeed hers.

Fortunately, she recounted that her saving grace was her pastor, who happened to visit her at the hospital and sensed something amiss

He caused a commotion and created a scene, prompting the nurses to suddenly “remember” that another boy had been born on the same day.

It turned out that her real baby had been mistakenly given to the other woman.

Reflecting on the incident, she expressed gratitude for the intervention of her pastor, acknowledging that the situation could have led to false accusations of infidelity.

To prevent such traumatic situations, she proposed that DNA testing be conducted in hospitals immediately after childbirth.

As the video and her experience continues to circulate, it has garnered the attention of netizens online.

Jasmine, the adopted daughter of late Nollywood actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, has taken to social media to pay tribute to him.

Recall that the 62-year-old actor passed away on March 2 in a Lagos hospital after battling a prolonged illness.

During his illness, Jasmine and the actor’s wife had a falling out over the management of his finances and health.

In her tribute, Jasmine expressed disappointment that her efforts to support Okafor were misunderstood.
According to her, her good deeds for the deceased actor were interpreted as evil, instead of the good intention behind them.

She added that that she hoped that he would address the issue before his passing, but unfortunately, he is no more and nobody is left to vindicate her.

Sharing a tribute video via her Instagram page, she wrote,

“Goodnight papa! You will forever be remembered for the love you gave,and the laughter you brought am grateful to God that I was able to give back that love till the very end.

Despite all that was said, every single good I did was translated to €vil, you always promised me that the day you will speak , the world will listen and that gave me the audacity to carry on. Now I am brok€n because that day is never coming, maybe the stories will never end, maybe the bull¥ing will never stop but I know and I’m grateful for the ray of hope you gave me even when you felt hopeless.

You never talked down on me , you appreciated me till your very last moment.

Congratulations are in order for a 68-year-old Nigerian woman as she reportedly welcomes her first child after several years of trying.

Last week, the woman, who had longed for a child for years, finally gave birth to a newborn baby in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun state.

A video making rounds online captures the moment she was pacing around in her hospital room during labor, and later cradled her baby.

While this incident is remarkable, it is worth noting that the Abeokuta mother is not the oldest woman to give birth.

Erramatti Mangamma holds that title, having given birth at the age of 73 through in-vitro fertilization via caesarean section in Hyderabad, India.
