A poultry farmer in Nigeria has been forced to shut down his business and move to the United Kingdom following a shocking incident.

The farmer’s livestock was tragically wiped out by an ex-employee whom he had dismissed for stealing birds.

According to a Facebook post shared by user Dani Molerum, the dismissed employee had been secretly taking two birds home every weekend.

Upon discovering the theft, the farmer promptly terminated her employment.

In an act of revenge, the disgruntled employee decided to poison the feed given to the poultry.

The poisoned feed caused the birds to consume the lethal substance, resulting in the death of the entire livestock.

Not a single bird was spared from the consequences of her act.

Heartbroken and facing immense financial losses, the poultry farmer made the decision to leave Nigeria and start afresh in the United Kingdom.

After five years of investing in his passion and striving to create employment opportunities, he now finds himself having to rebuild his business from scratch.

Popular Nigerian comedian, Lawrence Oluwaseyitan Aletile professionally known as Seyi Law vowed not to forgive media personality, Noble Igwe until he tenders a proper apology to his wife, Stacey Aletile.

The 40 years old comedian shared in a recent interview with The Honest Bunch Podcast, that there is someone he will never forgive in the entertainment industry.

He stated that Noble Igwe made a post during the 2023 presidential election which he tagged his wife, Stacey and someone under the comment section regarded his wife as an “Osu” meaning an outcast.

He declared that the day Noble Igwe path crosses with his, he will ensure they both wrestle till world ask what went wrong.

Seyi noted that he can accept any offensive words made towards him but will not appreciate any form of abusive remark targeted to his family, wife and children.

Nigerian actor Uche Maduagwu has slammed his colleague Judy Austin over a recent video of hers advising young ladies in the university.

The content creator belittled her for counseling young girls who are in the university despite getting pregnant for a married man.

Sharing a video on his Instagram page, he attached a caption that read;

Nigerian producer and DJ Ezeh Chisom Faith, professionally known as Rexxie, has shared during a podcast session on Echo Room that he isn’t friends with the late Nigerian singer, Mohbad.

He said this while describing the kind of relationship he had with the late singer who died under unknown circumstances.

Rexxie who is popularly known for his part on KPK (ko por ke) revealed that he and Mohbad were just colleagues and were familiar with each other because of the kind of job they do.

The producer who is also friends with Nigerian singer Naira Marley, shared that he took sides during the ‘Naira Marley and Mohbad’ clash because he heard that the late singer consumes drugs.

When asked how he felt about the singer’s death, he said;

“I don’t know how I felt because it was not what I was trying to hear, it took me days for it to grow on me to understand the effect of… The day it happened people were calling me and asking, are you good? are you okay? and I was like call his family, why are you calling me? They are catching cruise with the justice for Mohbad, because what is the justice for, is it going to bring him back.”

Nigerian rapper Cynthia Morgan has taken to social media to issue a stern warning to her colleague Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, over his recent comments about her.

During an interactive session with his followers on Instagram Live, Paul, whose elder brother Jude Okoye was Cynthia’s manager before their fallout years ago, was questioned about the rapper.

In response, he had stated that he had no business with her as she only worked with his elder brother. He also wished her quick recovery, insinuating that she is sick.

His words,

“Cynthia Morgan, she is not my artiste. She was never my artiste. She was my elder brother’s artiste. They have gone their different ways. Na she sabi. I wish her to get well soon.”

A Nigerian man shares how he mistakenly sent the wrong sum of money to a fan who came to seek for monetary favour in his direct message.

Sharing on the microblogging platform, X, the man identified as @LawrenceOkoroPG stated the fan came to direct message to seek a favour of the sum of hundred thousand naira.

He explained that he can only give forty thousand naira, then the fan excitedly sent his account details.

He wrote,

“Some time last year, someone came to my DM to seek a favour of N100k. I told him I can only give N40k from the N100k. He was excited. He sent his account details and I mistakenly credited N400k. He told me to send my account for refund of the excess, I did and he refunded N300k. He sent an epistle to explain how he urgently needs the 100k. I was lost in disbelief”.

However, he mistakenly sent the sum of four hundred thousand naira and requested the fan to refund the excess amount he sent instead he refunded three hundred thousand naira.

The head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis has expressed concern over the high rate of kidnap in Nigeria.

Sharing via his page on the microblogging platform X, he hoped that the incident would be curtailed as soon as possible.

The pope had made the post to create awareness about the condition of Nigerians, hoping that the government who make efforts to stop the recurring incident.

His tweet read,

“The increasingly frequent kidnappings in Nigeria are extremely concerning. I express my closeness in prayer to the Nigerian people, hoping that efforts will be made to contain the spread of these incidents as much as possible.”

Nigerian Police Force spokesperson, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has reacted to a video of an officer opening the car door for a clergyman named ‘Pastor Courage’.

The incident was brought to the spokesperson’s attention by an X user who questioned whether it was appropriate for a policeman to open the car door for a private citizen.

Sharing a video of the incident, the X user wrote,

“Please when did it become normal for a policeman attached to a private citizen to open vehicle doors for them? Actions like this demean the police force sir.”

Reacting to the tweet, the PRO first questioned the identity of the private citizen, as according to him, there are some individuals entitled to such treatment.

He wrote, “Who is the person? I need to know before any comments. There are some individuals who are entitled to that, by position, rank, or social status. So who is this person?. You can help with this info. Thanks”

Responding, the X user revealed that identity of the clergyman and disclosed that he is based in Abuja.

He posted a photo of the clergyman with the caption,

Upon seeing the pastor, PRO Muyiwa stated that it was inappropriate for the policeman to open the door for him. He also mentioned that the policeman would be investigated.

Nigerian actress Judy Austin has received backlash from Nigerians over her advice to ladies during a virtual church service with Yul Edochie.

The video shared on Instagram captured Judy criticizing ladies who play wife roles to their boyfriends in school.

According to her, you are in school to gain learn and more knowledge not play ‘wife roles to your boyfriend’.

She also advised ladies to ignore the material things and focus on the sole purpose why they are in school.

She said;

“Our girls that go to school to read, to gain the knowledge that will shape your life, you focus on playing the girlfriend roles to your boyfriend in his flat probably because he’s rich, they will carry you in front of Benz and then your are the madam, a student 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 what you need as a young girl is to go and be playing wife role to another small boy that knows nothing. Nigerian transgender Daniel Nsikan, popularly known as Jay Boogie, has caused a buzz online after sharing a video of himself shaking his backside.

This comes three months after he underwent plastic surgery to enhance his buttocks, which resulted in complications, leaving him bedridden with sepsis and acute kidney injury.

It will be recalled that in November 2023, he called out the hospital and doctor who performed the procedure for carrying out a botched surgery on him.

At the time, he also solicited donations from well-meaning Nigerians to fund his medical treatment after spending all his savings on it.

Now, Jay Boogie is clearly back to full health and in high spirits, as he is back on social media as if he never left.

He took to his Instastory on Monday, February 26, to share videos of himself jiggling his behind to the pleasure of his followers.

16-year-old British boy takes his own life after being blackmailed by Nigerian scammers over nûde photos

A young British schoolboy has taken his own life after being blackmailed by alleged Nigerian scammers with his nude photographs.

Dinal De Alwis, a 16-year-old footballer and rugby player, had achieved outstanding A* GCSE results and had just commenced sixth form with aspirations of studying at Cambridge when he was contacted via Snapchat by someone from Nigeria.

According to Mail Online, De Alwis received two unclad photos of himself and was threatened that they would be circulated to all his online followers unless he paid £100.

Fearing for his reputation, the teenage boy left his family home and recorded a brief video stating his intention to end his life.

His father, Kaushallya De Alwis, expressed his profound grief to the Daily Mail, stating that he hopes no other family would endure such suffering.

Mr. De Alwis recounted the night his son disappeared, mentioning that Dinal had messaged both him and his wife to express his love for them, and instructed his siblings to take care of their parents.

Dinal was a student at Whitgift School in Croydon, near their home in Sutton, south London, where boarding fees reach £48,000.

Despite his outstanding academic success, Dinal struggled with the distress caused by the blackmail and ultimately choose to end his own life.

The South London Coroner’s Court heard that the blackmailer, believed to have other victims, had threatened Dinal in messages demanding payment.

Despite efforts by the police and the National Crime Agency, the blackmailer, believed to be based in Nigeria, could not be traced.

Mr. De Alwis described Dinal as a caring and bright son who excelled academically and in sports. He lamented that Dinal didn’t show any signs of unhappiness but likely felt overwhelmed by the shame of the potential public exposure of the images.
