Popular Nigerian rapper and singer Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu professionally known as Odumodublvck has countered his senior colleagues who claimed to have paved the way for the younger artist.

Sharing a video and several tweets on the microblogging platform X, he noted that God who paved the way for everyone.

According to Odumodublvck, he believes that his senior colleagues inspired others to make music, but they should say they paved the way for anybody.

He wrote,

“You owe your pastor salary!” – Nigerian pastor tells Christians

Reverend Harrison Ayintete, the Lead Pastor at The Refinery Church INTL tells responsible believers that they owe their pastor salary. Pastors sustained by people they minister to.

The pastor stated that Christians owe their pastor salary; believers are aware that God rewards them through their pastor. Responsible believers who wants to be blessed knows they should reward their pastor with sustenance or salary.

Quoting a bible scripture, Rev. Harrison cited that Jesus was financed by the women he ministered to when he was spreading the gospel. The pastor noted Jesus received countless of gifts and money from the people after ministration and visitation.

In his tweet, he explained that pastors are hire labourers, who are worthy of their payment. He says God pays his servants through the people.

In a recent interview that has stirred controversy, veteran Nigerian singer Tony Tetuila has called out his former Remedies group member, Eedris Abdulkareem, over conflicting accounts of their past.

During the interview, Eedris shared the story of his rise to fame, recalling the time when he and Eddy (Montana) were starting out and performed in Ilorin.

A Nigerian media personality has publicly criticized reality TV star and supermodel Faith Morey for undergoing a cosmetic procedure.

Recall that Faith, in a recent interview with News Central, opened up about going under the knife to increase the size of her booobs.

She mentioned that she was a tomboy when she was little and didn’t have any breasts. Her involvement in sports, specifically basketball, also made it harder to develop breasts like her peers, which led to her decision to undergo plastic surgery.

Davido pledges N300m to orphanages across Nigeria

Popular Nigerian Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke professionally known as Davido publicly vows to contribute a large amount of money to orphanages across Nigeria.

Sharing on the microblogging platform, X, the Afrobeats singer announced on February 20,2024, his pledge to finance children living in orphanage homes across the country. He also shared the pledge on his Instagram page.

He stated it is an agreement between him and his foundation to fund the residential homes of orphans with the sum of three hundred million naira.

Davido noted that the pledge is a yearly gift as his contribution to the nation.

He tweeted;

“I and my foundation pledge the sum of 300 million Naira to orphanages around Nigeria … as my yearly contribution to the Nation .. details of disbursement tomorrow”

He also added that the details of paying out the fund will be announced on February 21.

“My wig was stolen inside the bus while I was sleeping” – Lady cries out (WATCH)

A Nigerian lady exclaimed on social media after her expensive bone straight wig was stolen inside the bus when she was sleeping. She checked everywhere in the bus but couldn’t find her wig.

The lady identified as @anniekokolet00 shared a before and after appearance of herself leaving the house and coming back home after her wig was stolen.

Narrating in the video, she explained that after she sat in the bus, she wasn’t bothered about other passengers in the bus. She was concerned about the bus getting filled and getting to destination.

She mentioned that she was sleeping in the bus and couldn’t find her wig on her head when she woke up. After checking the bus, she was told the lady that sat behind her had alighted from the bus.

She expressed disbelief of coming back without her expensive bone straight wig.

A Nigerian lady has raised an alarm over the kind of offer that was tossed at her sister, who is a caterer.

Sharing on the microblogging platform X, she revealed that they promised to pay her sister 200k for a week to cook human meat.

Her sister who had left her home in Abuja after accepting the offer, noted that the old friend who referred her told her it was a traditional and engagement wedding party.

“Y’all be safe in Ikotun. My sister was asked to come for a catering job in Ikotun all the way from Abuja. They even sent her transport fare of 30k and agreed to pay her 200k for a week of cooking. Turns out they were to cook human meat. Saw two heads and hands. The nearest landmark to the location is a Stanbic Ibtc bank on Governors road. She’s not familiar with ikotun or parts of Lagos. Her phone was used to call the “madam” in charge at the entrance. Turns out they deleted evidence while doing this Even I am finding it difficult To believe this. But my sis experienced this first hand. I’ve asked every Question and still find it difficult to believe. It’s well o Be careful of what you eat as well She was meant to stay over at the place. Corps member rages over the “tasteless” meal she was served at NYSC orientation camp (WATCH)

A Nigerian corps member enraged after she was served a tasteless meal in the National Youth Orientation camp.

The lady identified as @hifashion2019 on TikTok shared the meal she got for lunch at the orientation camp for the first time.

According to her, that was her first time going to the kitchen for food since she arrived camp and she was shocked with the food they served. The meal served was rice and stew with fish.

The corps member explained she was given salt in the kitchen to add to the rice because it was tasteless, the lady exclaimed after seeing the tiny fish on the rice. Showing in the video, the stew served with the rice was watery and oil; she described as pepper soup.

She also added that after eating the tasteless meal, she will still have to march for hours.

The video has gained reactions online after netizens shared their comment on the kind of food served in the orientation camp.

Popular Nigerian rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem has sparked discussions on social media over a startling revelation that comedian Seyi Law allegedly made to him.

He said that Seyi Law informed him that backing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was his biggest mistake and that he regretted doing so.

Eedris Abdulkareem stated in an interview with the Honest Bunch podcast that he met the stand-up comedian at an event and they struck up a conversation on how the situation in Nigeria affects him.

He said that Seyi regretted his choice and bemoaned the incessant abuse and swearing he had been subjected to because of his support for Tinubu.

According to the musician, Seyi Law also revealed that he stopped receiving money from people at his shows and that he was not compensated for standing on his mandate.

Nigerian influencer and businesswoman, Ama Reginald, has complained bitterly about the challenges of running a business in Nigeria.

Taking to Snapchat, Ama stated that the fluctuating exchange rate is already bad enough, and now she is facing issues with Nigerian customs.

She mentioned that her goods have been held for days even though they have arrived in the country. According to her, customs is withholding the goods in an attempt to increase the clearance fee and make more money.

Ama also cited that the clearance fee has been increased three times this year already, despite being the second month in the year.

Overwhelmed by all the challenges, Ama said she is frustrated and tired as managing a business in Nigeria is draining. She, however, noted that she won’t give up and will keep showing up for her business.
