After continuously denying that he assaulted Kizz Daniel’s manager, with several people confirming that he actually did, Davido now wished he’d in fact, slapped the said gentleman.
The singer has been receiving several backlash from people on social media who are quite certain that he’s the one who slapped the manager. In light of this, he then apologized for what he considers ‘nothing’.
Unmoved by this, fans continued to have a go at him and because of this, he took to his Instagram to say he now wishes he had indeed slapped the manager while still stating that he didn’t.
He wrote,

A bride has threatened to dis-invite her wedding guests after they failed to give her cash as gifts as she’d requested during her engagement party.
The bride-to-be took to social media, to rant and make threats – the unnamed woman said that she had been clear in asking for cash rather than gifts at her engagement party, and was pretty irritated when people turned up with ‘small gifts that serve no purpose’.
The bride said that out of anger, she sent a message to guests to ask why she hadn’t been given the cash she’d asked for.
She wrote:
I specified on the invitation that we were requesting cash only in lieu of gifts.
We have a mountain of debt and would like to start our marriage with a fresh slate and figured this would be a great opportunity to do so.
Well the party was last night and not one person brought us cash.
They all brought small gifts that serve no purpose to us and it was hard for me to mask my irritation.
We invited upwards of thirty people, most of which showed up and all we got out of it were some household items that we already have.
The bride said she ended up going to bed early out of anger. The next day, she sent a message to her friends,
I sent out a mass text basically asking guests I was close with where the miscommunication happened in our gift requests.
I didn’t get many responses, but the responses I did get were pretty rude – which was shocking to me.
I have been dreaming of my wedding my entire life and you would think friends and loved ones would want to help in making it perfect.
I am thinking of dis-inviting those that responded rudely to me, but also I could give them another chance.
We will be requesting cash as well and I have already sent out an email reiterating that cash is expected and not gifts and any gifts will be returned for cash or sold on ebay.
Reddit users reacted to the post shared by the bride-to-be and most of them weren’t positive.

The bride later deleted her account following the backlash.
Promise Chukwudum, a student at the University of Regina, in Saskatchewan, Canada, has been found dead more than a month after he was declared missing.
The Police found his corpse in a creek area behind the Shell gas station on the corner of Sherwood Drive and McIntosh Street, at about 4:45 p.m. on December 21, 2018.
The 19-year-old Computer Science student and rugby player went missing in the early hours of November 17 – the police said there was no indication Chukwudum’s death was a result of criminal act.
The Regina Police Service and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service are conducting a death investigation to fully understand the circumstances of his death.

During his concert at the Eko Atlantic yesterday, the singer brought out his two lovely daughters, Imade and Hailey on stage as he told his fans to say ‘hello’ to them.
Apparently, the baby mamas had a link up after the concert and it was then these lovely photos were taken.
Former Nigerian president, Shehu Shagari, has died at the age of 93.
Mr. Shagari, who served as the first and only President of Nigeria’s Second Republic, died, some minutes ago, at the National Hospital Abuja, after a brief illness.
Shagari, became president after General Olusegun Obasanjo, then a military head, handed over power to him(a transition from military to civilian rule) but his administration was toppled by General Muhammadu Buhari(now President) in 1983.
His grand son, Bello Shagari, the president of the National youth council of Nigeria, NYCN, made the announcement via his Twitter handle on Friday.
He wrote: “I regret announcing the death of my grandfather, H.E Alhaji Shehu Shagari, who died right now after brief illness at the National hospital, Abuja.”

A man who had been stricken with grief over a loss was, today, stopped from entering the grave of his bosom friend, Comrade Godgift, during his burial in Bayelsa.

Three people lost their lives with 15 others injured in a road accident that happened on the Enugu-Port Harcourt expressway.
The Enugu State Police Command, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Ebere Amaraizu, confirmed this in a statement on Friday.
Ebere Amaraizu said the accident occurred on Thursday at Ogbaku community in Awgu Local Government area of Enugu State on Thursday by 7pm.
Amaraizu said that all the dead were women, adding that the accident involved a Mercedez Benz Bus with the registration number ENU 350XZ and a Toyota Hummer Bus registered as XB 205 XPR.
He said that the remains of the dead had been deposited at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Ituku-Ozalla, Enugu while the injured had been receiving treatment in the hospital.

Family of late former Chief of Defence Staff, Air Vice Marshal, Alex Badeh, have refuted claims by a suspect in custody of the Police that the late Military Chief was killed while they were attempting to rob him of huge sums of money.
A leaked video that went viral on social media last night showed the suspect saying that he and his brother planned the robbery because they learnt that the late Badeh was conveying huge cash to buy a parcel of land in Nasarawa state.
The suspect said that they had only planned to rob the late Badeh, but when his car tried to run them over, they dodged and then opened fire which led to his death. However, the family countered the claim by the suspect, saying that the late Military Chief did not even have up to N500 cash on the day that he was killed.
The family insisted that contrary to the claim, Badeh did not discuss any issue about the acquisition of land. They described the confessions of the suspect as a “cook-up story to deceive the public and hide the killers and their intentions.
The family spoke with Vanguard Newspapers at the residence of the late Chief of Air Staff in Abuja to react to the claim by the suspected killers.
The family delegated only one member to speak on the condition that his or her name will not be mentioned in the report.
“We called you here because we have been following your report in Vanguard since our son and brother, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, was killed by yet-to-be identified people.
“We are not happy with the report being put out to the public there on the circumstances that led to his death.
“We as a family, believe that some people responsible for his death want to deceive the public by hiding the facts of what happened, how it happened and those responsible.
“I want to emphatically tell you here that contrary to the claim that he went to his farm on the fateful day with huge amount of money to buy additional farmland, there was nothing like that.
“In fact, he had no money on him that day, not even N500 in the vehicle. “As I told you, no money, I repeat, no money was in that vehicle. Not even N500 was in that vehicle on that day he was killed.
“I repeat that no N500 not even N1000 was in that motor he drove that he was killed that day.
“Before his death, a villager who knew he was on the farm that day went to meet him to get money to buy paracetamol tablet for his headache he could not afford the money for him. Instead, he asked the person if he could go to Panda Market.
“When the man said he could, our brother told him to pick 10 mudus (measured quantity) of maize to sell in the market and buy drug for himself, saying that was the only help he could render to him since he had no cash to give out.
“He took time to narrate to the person that as he was talking to him, there was a huge refuse dump at his house in Abuja and the people responsible for packing it, that is the Abuja Environmental Protection Board, had refused to do so because he had no money to pay for the packing.
“He added that his cook and the cleaner in his house had not been paid, explaining further that those were the reasons he went to farm on that day to pick some bags of harvested maize, like 100 bags, to sell so as to raise money to settle those issues.
“Again, he told his workers on the farm that since they have blocked his pension, his only source of getting money, only three out of the eight working for him can remain as he wouldn’t have money to pay all the eight anymore.
“He said ‘I’m sorry to tell you this but this is the reality, I can only retain three workers now, the five of you have to go so that I won’t be owing you salaries. He said I can be selling maize and be paying salary for the three that I will retain.
“He did not have N500 on that day they killed him, I swear to God. All this you are hearing is a cook-up story.
“He went to farm to pick some bags of corn to sell so that he could raise money to pay the workers on the farm, the cook and cleaner in the house as well as for the packing of refuse dump here in the house.
“You can see the huge refuse dump here near the wall. If you see this refuse, they had to shift it from this wall closer to the primary school there because of the odour oozing out from the waste bins. You can see the dustbins there (pointed to it). “So where did they get the information they released to the public from?”
Miss Congo emerged winner last night at the Miss Africa 2018 beauty pageant and shortly after she won, her wig caught fire on stage.
24-year-old Dorcas Kasinde beat other contestants to win the crown. Miss Nigeria came second while Miss Zambia came third.
As Miss Congo celebrated her victory and hugged her predecessor, her wig caught fire. Thankfully, Ebuka came to her rescue before more damage could be done.

The police in Abia state have arrested a 19-year-old man after he allegedly stabbed his neighbor’s daughter identified as Kamsy, to death at their neighborhood situated along Port-Harcourt road in Aba, Abia State on Monday December 24th.
The suspect had taken the little girl identified as Kamsy on a stroll in their neighborhood. There he stabbed the little girl twice on her stomach. The child later died of her injuries in the hospital.
The suspect was immediately apprehended by residents of the area and codeine was allegedly found in his pocket after a search was conducted on him.

A suspect arrested by the Police has spoken on how Alex Badeh was killed.
The suspect identified himself as Shaibu and he spoke in Hausa Language while being paraded by the Police.
The translation of his confession was however provided by a user of twitter who wrote that Shaibu and his accomplices had only wanted to rob the former Chief of Defence Staff, Alex Badeh, of some money they believed he was carrying with him in the car.
He wrote:
His name is Shaibu from Barde. his elder brother Ciroma came from the market and told him that he got intel that old soldier(Badeh) has bought another land and would be coming to make payment so so day. They decided to waylay him and collect the money.
Those that had arms blocked the car in front while the others followed them from behind in case they try to turn. Badeh’s driver opted to charge through and ciroma opened fire on them. They opened the car and saw a lot of cash but the guy cannot confirm how much was inside.

Abidemi Kosoko, an actress and one of the daughters of veteran actor, Jide Kosoko, had her her wedding introduction on Wednesday!
According to the actress the wedding ceremony with her boo, Daniel will hold in the first quarter of 2019. The introduction had the likes of Oga Bello, Yinka Quadri, Lanre Hassan, Muka Ray and others in attendance.

Abidemi Kosoko, was born to Jide Kosoko on 21st October 1988, she starred in Alakada reloaded and has been nominated for The Future Awards Africa Nigeria prize for Acting.
Indigenous rapper, Phyno has called a music critic on twitter a ‘Tribal Fool’ after the latter dropped an opinion on his music year.
Phyno did not find the comment by music critic, Joey Akan funny when he was described as having a ‘disappointing year’.
His tweet reads, “Phyno had a very disappointing year. He’s no longer a part of any conversation.”
“Didn’t upgrade his sound, or modernise it to our pop cadence. Everything stayed in the East. Even a Wale collaboration didn’t go past the initial and underground buzz.”

A young lady who is apparently on holidays has written on Facebook on how she missed sex badly and wanted to know when school is resuming.
The lady identified as Daisy Nelly from NairobIi, Kenya, shared a picture of herself on her profile and was not shy to open up to her friends on her sexual cravings.
