This morning, a video by a lady quickly went viral after she revealed the treatment a couple allegedly meted out on a girl she alleged to be their house help.
The lady in the video narrated how the couple made the girl to sit separately, while they had a meal of Ice cream and Pizza.

The wife in the video has quickly debunked the news, saying it is false, that she has no housemaid whatsoever, while of course not forgetting to curse the Lady who recorded and shared the video.

“My notice have been brought to a post trending on this platform about a family that separated their house girl, just for clarity sake, I don’t know the girl in the picture and video, I went there with my family, I don’t have a house maid. Whoever has done that, may the person never see anything good in the coming year except you apologize and make it clear that the news was false.”

American singer, August Alsina, is mourning the death of his sister Chandra, who passed away on Christmas night after her battle with Cancer.
The 26-year-old recording artiste made the sad announcement via his Instagram page by uploading a tribute video dedicated to his late sister and mother of three daughters whose husband is also dead.
In the post, Alsina wrote:

Twitter user, Rere Ayodele, has expressed his fears that some Muslim clerics could be brainwashing little children who come to their mosques.
In a series of tweets, Rere said he witnessed a cleric in a Mosque in Ibadan teaching his little sisters and other children, all under 10, that Christianity is not a good religion. He fears that this is how radicals are raised.
Another twitter user who saw his thread, narrated how her nephew came home on a particular day and said his Imam told him and other children that Christmas is Haram.

The Nigeria Police Force has reportedly apprehended some suspects in connection with the killing of former Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh (retd).
It should be recalled that the former CDS was killed in the evening of December 18, 2018 while returning from his farm along Abuja – Keffi road.
The murder, which raised a lot of concern on the security situation in the country occurred after Badeh’s Toyota Tundra truck was riddled with bullets, killing only him out of the three occupants of the vehicle.
Though Force PRO and his office could not be reached to confirm the story, police source said the suspects will be paraded any moment.
According to the source,
“we have made a breakthrough in the case and we have arrested suspects who will be paraded.”

A quite chaotic scene was captured on camera at a live concert in Lagos as two men decided to slug it out publicly, leaving other guests stunned with their act of folly.
The incident is reported to have happened at the ‘Burna Live’ hosted by musician Burna Boy on the 26th of December, 2018 at Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo says President Muhammadu Buhari will refer to him as “sir” till he dies.
Speaking at the 2018 Ibogun day celebration in Ogun state, Obasanjo said this is because of the role he played in the president’s victory in the 2015 presidential election.
Obasanjo said if not for his support for Buhari, he would not have won the election.
The elder statesman said having shed his blood for the country, he is qualified to speak to Buhari on matters of governance.
“I know Buhari and he too knows me. Till the day I die, Buhari will continue to address me as ‘sir.’ In 2015, if I didn’t support Buhari, he wouldn’t have won the election,” Obasanjo said.
“I have what it takes to correct him. Nigeria should not be in the position we are today. Nigeria can be better. God has given us all that we need.
“I am qualified to speak against Buhari. One, I have done it before. Two, I have shed my blood for this country. Even my biological son has shed his blood. Why can’t I speak about what is best for this country? I am doubly qualified to do that.
“I have made my choice, it may not be in tandem with yours. Let my choice be and let yours be and let God decide and whoever gets there let all of us support him.”
Obasanjo has repeatedly criticised the Buhari-led administration, saying Nigerians the situation of the country would be worse suffering if he is re-elected.

We have identified her as Ashiat Abdulganiyu, a 300 level student of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria in Kaduna state.
She committed suicide after drinking poison, in the early hours of yesterday, December 26th.
She also left behind a suicide note, which reads;
Just like I said, If I am no more please hold my family especially my mum and dad responsible. I have tried to be the best I can be, Stayed away from them just because they blame me for their mistakes and they cant love, help and take care of me like their own.
My mum has made life a living hell for me only because she is bipolar and frustrated. Accusing me of being a witch, trying to bill her and being a cursed child even though my brother is responsible for my education and upkeep.
The only thing she helps me with is my feeding money. I have gone out of my way to take care of my mum by giving her food and money but I still end up being her problems. My brother cant stick to his promise anymore best he feels I am not his responsibility and I have my
own family. I hope and believe that now that I am gone, It will bring them relieve and happiness.
I am so sorry Collins, I had to leave you this way, Maryam Olayemi you have been more than a bestie to me. I am also sorry to all my friends and well-wishers, I love happy but I’m nothing but a broken child. I don’t believe in God anymore, cos I cant see my purpose anymore. I Love you all so much.

A Nigerian Guy has shared a heartbreaking post of how his girlfriend committed suicide on boxing day, leaving a heartbreaking note for her friends and family before going to the great beyond.
According to her boyfriend, a twitter user, @badman_niro who shared the story on his page, the young lady committed suicide yesterday, which is boxing day. He wrote;
“I just lost my girl to suicide now. How’s your Boxing Day going?”
He also shared a snap of the suicide note she left behind.

A young lady is currently nursing an injury she sustained after her 22-year-old brother stabbed her in the back because she was slow in making his food at their home in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

Founder of Omega Power Ministry (OPM) Worldwide, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, has disclosed that he worked as an airport cleaner, security man and a recharge card vendor.
Chinyere recounted how he started life as a young man about 15 years ago in Lagos, selling mobile phone recharge cards and cleaning toilets at the Murtala Muhammad Airport, Lagos.
He told the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN that his existence had been destined and guided by God.
The 45-year-old pastor said the experience of neglect, rejection and poverty changed his perception of life and catapulted him to where he had found himself today.
He said,
“I was motivated to doing the right thing because 12 years ago, I was a homeless man, I had nothing; I was selling MTN recharge card in Lagos. I am always pained seeing the poor people suffering.
“The first time I travelled to Lagos, I slept under the bridge. I later became a cleaner at the Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA), where I also cleaned the airport toilets. “Go to MMA Lagos and ask of Chibuzor, everybody knows me there as a cleaner; it is not a secret. I posted the picture on the church Facebook wall.
“At times, when I am travelling or coming back from my journey, I stop at the airport to greet my former colleagues, and I gladly share what I have with them. “In fact, I had to establish one of them and he is now doing well in Port Harcourt.”
According to the pastor, his major concern in life, having tasted poverty, is to see the children of the poor get quality education no matter the circumstance.
This, he said, led to the establishment of the OPM free schools in Bayelsa, Rivers and Abia states as well as a Foundation for Humanitarian Services.
The cleric added that he used the offering and tithes from church members in 150 branches across the globe to ameliorate the sufferings of the poor people and the less privileged in the society.
He said,
“We started this free school when we had only one branch of the church about 10 years ago; we also operate a free restaurant, where Muslims and Christians go to eat. “The free school is located in Bayelsa, Rivers and Abia states, and we want to spread it all over Nigeria.
“The OPM Foundation is also behind the construction of free estates where people live without paying a kobo as rent; we have skill acquisition centres where people come and learn different skills.
“We rehabilitate both militants and armed robbers and feed them every day. We also rehabilitate commercial sex workers and also give them accommodation and we are also feeding them. “They are now doing legitimate businesses.”
The foundation’s other achievements, according to NAN, include empowerment, alms-giving and commissioning of a free Computer Training Centre at Elele Prison in Rivers State.
Others are the award of university scholarship to the poor apart from the free nursery, primary and secondary schools education. It has also commissioned free tailoring centre and provided water borehole to the people of Rumuji and other communities in Rivers State, to alleviate the problem of water scarcity in the area.
A woman whose husband was killed during a robbery attack in his house in Rivers state, met with the gang members who perpetrated the act.
The widow and mother of three identified as Mrs. Funke Adetutu, met with the hoodlums after they were arrested by operatives of the Inspector General of Police Special Intelligence Response Team, IRT.
The leader of the gang knelt down and begged for forgiveness from the widow who replied that mercy belongs to God and they should ask Him for forgiveness and mercy.
She added that her husband takes care of a lot of people apart from the children and they now have to struggle following his demise. She also thanked the police team for arresting the killers of her husband.
PDP campaign spokesperson, Buba Galadima has stated that some of President Muhammadu Buhari’s poor relatives have become billionaires.
Galadima, who spoke on Sunrise Daily, a live programme on Channels Television, on Wednesday, alleged that some individuals close to Buhari, who were poor in 2015 when the President assumed office had somehow become owners of choice houses in the President’s hometown of Daura, Katsina State.
The PDP campaign spokesperson made the accusation while engaging in a debate with an All Progressives Congress member, Senator Ayo Arise, who had faulted the amendment process of the Electoral Act.
Arise, who is also a former Senator representing Ekiti North Senatorial District, said,
“If the President says I will allow a free and fair election, there is the propensity for people to trust him more than the other candidate in this country that is currently running because he has demonstrated it times without number that he has integrity.
“For me, that is what I see in the President and that is why I am one of the strongest supporters and believers in him.”
But Galadima stated that the President had not shown any sign of integrity, adding that several of Buhari’s relatives had become significantly wealthier in the time he has been president.
The PDP campaign spokesperson said,
“I can’t see any integrity whatsoever on the side of Mr President. Which integrity? Somebody who condones corrupt people around him. We know of his relatives. We know of his friends who were bankrupt before 2015.
“We know of his relatives who took N2,000 transport money from us to go to Kaduna. Today, they are multibillionaires. They have assets all over the world. They have estates all over the world. I can show anybody that wants to know. So, the issue of integrity with this government is not an issue.
“Go to Daura GRA. When you go there, all the houses that make you feel as if you are in Dubai, London or Beirut were built by whom? To whom do those properties belong?
“So, please, I don’t want any All Progressives Congress man to talk to me about integrity. This should be the last time anybody engaging me in a debate would talk about integrity; I will take them to the marketplace.”
The Force Headquarters has ordered the arrest and prosecution of 190 riot policemen who absconded from the ongoing counter-insurgency training at the Special Forces School, Buni-Yadi, Yobe State.
The fleeing policemen were part of the 2,000 Police Mobile Officers mobilised for the training preparatory to their deployment for combat against Boko Haram insurgents in the North-East, The Punch reports.
They were deployed by the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, about three weeks ago for purely military duties under the ‘Operation Lafiya Dole.’
The Police authorities had argued that the deployment of the men was consistent with Section 4 of the Police Act and Regulations, which allows them to perform such military duties both within and outside Nigeria as may be required of them.
The 190 missing cops were believed to have bailed out of the SFS because they did not want to participate in the counter-insurgency operations.
Findings indicate that the policemen were drawn from MOPOLs 2, Keffi; 3 Enugu; 5 Benin; 8 Jos; 11 Calabar; and 16 Abeokuta.
It is the 26th of December and it all seemed to be a fake prophecy after-all.
