A Nigerian philanthropist who identifies as @thisibi has headed to the microblogging platform X, to rage concerning how prison wardens take pads that belong to female inmates.

According to her, they don’t provide pads for their female prisoners and they still take away the ones provided by people.

She also added that if evil befalls them because of their actions they would go around blaming the devil for it.

Frustrated by their constant dreadful operation she called giving pads to the prison wardens to give females in custody a quit.

Sharing in several tweets, she wrote;

“Nigeria’s not even a real place. You’ll be emptying your account supplying period products to incarcerated women, meanwhile, wardens will be carrying more than half the pads to their own houses. Netizens have shared different points of view after a Nigerian man who recently resumed his new job in Ghana complained online that his Ghanaian colleagues hate him. This was because, on his first day at work, he asked them to open the business outlet earlier than the usual time.

The man identified as @Nomatriquencee revealed that the outlet usually opens at 12 pm, he questioned why they would open for work at that hour when the outlet can commence work from 10 am.

According to him, his Ghanaian colleagues now hate him because of the suggestion, hence, one of them exclaimed that Nigerians are known for doing too much. He regarded his colleagues as lazy people and he was ready to make them work.

The tweet has sparked mixed reactions online regarding the man’s attitude in a new environment especially in a country that is not his nationality. Some netizens corrected him for being too forward to suggest a change on his first day while others implied he should understand his colleague’s culture and behaviour before making remarks.

In a shocking incident captured on video, a courageous 12-year-old girl fearlessly confronted a snake in a desperate attempt to save her beloved guinea pig.

The remarkable video, shared shows the extraordinary lengths young Rosie Wightman went to in order to rescue her pet named MaxiBon from the snake’s grip.

The incident took place in the backyard of their home.

In the video, she can be seen searching through shrubs until she discovers the snake with its jaws wrapped around the small guinea pig.

Without hesitation, she bravely grabs the snake and swings it around, forcing it to release its grip on her pet.

In an interview with 7NEWS, she explained,

“Didn’t even think it through. I was just like, ‘grab the snake, grab the snake’.”

Fortunately, her quick thinking attracted the attention of her father, Luke Wightman, who rushed to the scene.

With his help, the snake was separated from the guinea pig, allowing her pet to scamper to safety unharmed.

A U.S based Nigerian woman narrates how she recovered her stolen package after she threatened to use African Juju if her package was not returned.

The lady identified as @the_nnenna shared on Twitter (X), what she had to do for her stolen package to be returned. She had to put up notes all over the building to create awareness about her package that was stolen from the apartment’s mailroom.

She alerted the other residents that if her package was not returned, she was ready to use African Juju and the alleged thief would go insane after some days.

In her tweet, she wrote;

“So my package was stolen in my apartment’s mailroom yesterday and I put up these notes all over the building. Guess whose package was dropped at her door this afternoon”

Sharing in a later tweet, she explained that her package was stolen as it wasn’t returned in the original packaging. She also put up other notes to appreciate the return of her package and added she would reverse the Juju.

“My package was returned but not in the original packaging nor in a shipping box, proof that they stole it. I know I may be doing too much but at least they would know not to move anyhow near me or my stuff . I put these thank you notes around to deter others too.”

Popular Nigerian comedian Ekene Clinton Egbuna professionally known as KlintonCOD has reacted to the viral video of a soldier who spoke about earning 50k monthly.

Recall that, a video was shared online, whereby a soldier wearily complained about how he was unable to visit his family because of how expensive the transport fare was and how much he earned.

The comedian quoted the video of the soldier on the microblogging platform X and tweeted that they deserved it.

YouTube takes down TB Joshua’s Emmanuel TV channel over alleged abusǝs

The main YouTube channel belonging to Prophet TB Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations has been taken down from the video-sharing platform.

This action comes after OpenDemocracy identified and reported over 50 abusive videos that amplified attacks against the clergyman’s accusers on the platform.

Recall that earlier this month, the BBC World Service, in collaboration with OpenDemocracy, released a three-part documentary featuring whistleblowers who were formerly senior members of SCOAN.

These individuals went on record with allegations of sexual and psychological abuse, financial misconduct, and criminal negligence by the late clergy.

The videos, initially filmed by the church’s Emmanuel TV media department, showcased some of the women who participated in the investigative documentary.

YouTube, which has strict policies against cyberbullying and harassment, particularly towards survivors of sexual violence, stated that “the flagged channel was terminated for violating our hate speech policies.”

This marks the second time that the late Prophet TB Joshua’s church’s YouTube channel has been suspended due to violations of the platform’s policies.

In other news, Nigerian singer and songwriter, Victor AD countered the claim of people labelling late T.B. Joshua, a fake pastor, relating to the trending BBC documentary which disclosed the alleged sexual misconduct committed by the deceased.

The said man has identified online as Anselme Santos and after the video of him getting too close to the lady he was trying to woo emerged online, Santos has now apologised to his wife and kids over the embarrassing development.

Nigerian lady shares mystery object she discovered inside a fish she purchased at the market (VIDEO)

What looks like a fetish item was discovered inside of a fish which was purchased by a lady in the market and following the rather shocking discovery, the lady who discovered the item, decided to share she found on social media.

In the video that was shared, what appears to be a padlock that was wrapped around by threads is seen after it was supposedly removed from inside of the fish.

The video was shared on social media platform, TikTok and the user who shared it, revealed that his neighbor’s wife’s friend was the one who discovered the mystery object as she was cleaning the fish she purchased from a market in Ibadan, Oyo state.

He then went on to share that in a bid to free whoever or whatever was bound, himself and the woman unlocked the padlock. He also shared a prayer for himself as he declared that nothing bad would happen to him or the woman because they unlocked the padlock.

He shared the video on his page with the caption, “A lady found this in a fish bought from a market in Ibadan. God have mercy.”

A cab driver has come to social media to express his experience about the impolite attitude of passengers, who act with disrespect when booking rides online. He also shed light on the ethics of the job.

The cabbie identified as @iamonomen shared on his TikTok page how a proposed client booked a ride online and was impolite and arrogant while describing his location via phone call.

In the video, the cab driver was raging with annoyance while sharing his experience on how disrespectful some passengers behave. Some passengers can’t present their statements respectfully and reasonably.

He stated some passengers lack a proper manner of approach when communicating with the drivers. If cab drivers are nonentities why are they using them, he demands passengers should respect the drivers if they also want to be respected.

The cabbie also added the policy of their work is to accord their passengers with respect not because they are being paid but because it is part of the job ethics.

In his words;

“You book a ride be respectful if you want respect from the driver, you respect the driver. our policy is to accord you respect not just because you are the one giving the money but because it is the ethics of the job, so you should respect the driver when they come to you, not the one you will be taking anyhow”

Smiles and laughter filled the faces of traders and onlookers as they witnessed a rather rare occurrence in the marketplace when a romantic spouse decided to surprise her husband with serenades and gifts on his birthday at his workplace.

“Pararan” by a trumpeter filled the air and drew attention to a lovely lady baring gifts in a marketplace. Onlookers will later find out that the gifts and “happy birthday” tune being played by the trumpeter was for the lady’s husband who is a trader in the market.

On the occasion of his birthday, his lovely wife decided to surprise him while he was working — his romantic spouse came with gifts in hand and a trumpeter to serenade her hussy — a gesture that has left many gushing both online and offline.

In the lovely video which was shared online, the husband is seen looking shy and a tad surprised by the gesture but received his gifts with a smile on his face. The video has got netizens talking after it made its way to the internet.

Shock as 39-year-old mother of 19 kids is pregnant with her 20th and all are from different men

A rather buzzing story making the rounds on the internet is that of a 39-year-old lady who already has 19 children and is currently expecting her 20th.

While the fact that the lady is barely 40 years old and already has kids half the number of her age, netizens are more stunned over the fact that these kids are all fathered by different men.

Martha who hails from Medellin, Colombia, is only 39 and has said she doesn’t plan to stop birthing children until her body physically cannot conceive anymore. She says this would continue even if she doesn’t know who has fathered her brood.

Seventeen of Martha’s children are under 18 years old and Martha receives financial support from her government for each child.

“I see being a mom like a business, practically,” Martha, who has conceived all of her kids with different men is quoted as saying.

However, Martha says because she has a lot of kids children, the money she gets from the government barely covers the cost of raising and caring for them.

“The truth is, as the government helps me for each child, I receive a little money for each one,” she explained.

According to Martha, she gets the equivalent of $76 for her eldest children and around $30.50 for the younger ones.

Each month, the Colombian state pays her around $510 to care for her children. Martha also receives help from the local church and her neighbours.

Despite having many children, Martha revealed that she will continue to have children until her “body doesn’t allow it,” as her current set of kids will “leave home when they grow up.”

Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Ayra Starr has expressed a wish to collaborate with American music icons Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé, and Rihanna.

In a recent interview with Cool FM, the Mavin Records artiste stated her desire to collaborate with various famous foreign artists.

When asked about the international acts she hopes to collaborate with, Ayra Starr said; “I would love to work with Rihanna, Victoria Monét, Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole.”

The “Sabi” crooner revealed that her dedication to perfection serves as her primary source of inspiration. Speaking on how she handles criticism of her appearance or singing, she said;
