The Nigerian Air Force has confirmed that the Air Task Force (ATF) of Operation Lafiya Dole has killed several Boko Haram Terrorists (BHTs) in air strikes it conducted at Talala in Borno State.
Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, the NAF Director of Public Relations and Information who disclosed this today in Abuja, said the operation was carried out on Friday.
He said the operation was carried out following credible intelligence reports that BHTs appeared to have relocated some of their fighters from the fringes of Lake Chad in Northern Borno to establish new camps along the Talala-Ajigin-Buk axis of the state.
“Series of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance missions confirmed the presence of significant number of BHT fighters residing in makeshift shelters, camouflaged under thick vegetation on the outskirts of Talala. As a result, ATF dispatched two Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Alpha Jet aircraft to attack the Camp in multiple waves, leading to destruction of some of the structures and killing of several BHTs,” he said.
The spokesman said the NAF, working in concert with surface forces, would sustain the tempo of operations in order to destroy all remnants of the terrorists in Borno.

Former BBNaija housemate, Tobi Bakre has come out to say that he can only accept to act nude or play sex scene roles for Hollywood, but not in Nollywood.

In a recent interview with reporters, Tobi has these to say;
” What I love about acting is the fact that you have the power to be anything. If you are given a script whether you like the character or not, you have to act the part. Every role you are given has to be challenging because you have got to do it well. When they say be a mad man, I am able to lay it out.
For me when it comes to acting you have to be versatile, you can’t really limit yourself, except it is a role preaching immorality to a large extent I am not going to take that.
As for sex scenes roles, in Hollywood I would consider that, but not in Nollywood.”
Speaking on stars he admired before he joined the movie industry, Tobi mentioned why he loves Kunle Afolayan, Ramsey Nouah, AY, Genevieve, Rita Dominic. “I love them because they have done it back to back. And now that I am in the industry I know it is easy to criticize when you are outside, but when you are in it you will get to respect these actors more. I respect the young actors doing the everyday hustle too,” he assured.
When asked about his present relationship with Alex and Cee-C, he placed his mouth and he lips and said ‘No comment’.

“I have been suspicious that my wife was being unfaithful to me so I decided to take her phone to find out who she was communicating with.
“I became suspicious of a number that she had saved as Mai Takudzwa of which that number belonged to one Kurauwone with whom she was having an affair.
“I then sent a message to him and through our conversation that was when I realised that they were having an affair.
“Through that conversation that I had with Kurauwone, I found out that they had spent several nights at our matrimonial house.
In his pursuit to investigate his wife’s adulterous affair, Zuze said he then invited Kurauwone to the house for sex.
“I wanted to get to the bottom of this issue because I was shocked. I never suspected that my wife was cheating on me.
“So I invited Kurauwone to come to the house and he came to the shopping centre nearby and I went there after he described to me what he was wearing. I then went and took him and went with him to my house.
“It was unfortunate that our neighbours assaulted him but all I wanted was for him to explain what was going on between him and my wife.”
However his wife’s boyfriend who admitted having a sexual relationship with his estranged wife, disclosed that the woman lied to him that she was a single parent.
“I wouldn’t have had an affair with her if I knew that she was married; she lied to me that she was a single parent that is why I was dating her,” he said.

Mike Bamiloye has claimed that some people give testimonies in Church these days after receiving babies from the devil.
According to the veteran film producer and actor, the desperation to have children has led many of these Christians to seek for such help from evil places.
Below is what how he made his point:
“JUST TO HAVE WHAT THEY WANT”
“I have seen men of God and children of God, who have married secretly somewhere else to have children they can call their own.
“I have seen the devil pushing many ministers away from their calling and ministries because they are desperately in searching of children.
“I HAVE SEEN MEN OF GOD, DRAMA AND MUSIC MINISTERS AND CHILDREN OF GOD WHO ARE ON THEIR WAY TO ETERNAL HELL FIRE BECAUSE THEY DEPARTED FROM THE LORD TO LOOK FOR CHILDREN FROM ANOTHER “GOD”.
“I have heard of people coming to give testimonies of the faithfulness of God for giving them babies which they had received from the devil.
“I have seen children of God eating on the dinning table of the Devil and entering into eternal covenant with Satan just to have a baby of their own.”

He narrated a situation where he had to kiss three European ladies who accompanied his girl friend to the airport to welcome him, during one of his foreign trips, adding that he doesn’t see anything wrong with it.
He also painted another scenario, where he had to kiss four actresses in the presence of their boy friends.
Jim said;
“I have once kissed them on set, and so, when I walked into the room where two of them were with their boy friends, I kissed them one after the other and their boy friends were mad at me. I have also kissed over 200 actresses on set and nobody is talking about it.”
In a recent interview with Saturday Beats, gospel singer, Tope Alabi revealed that she still takes public transport.
According to Alabi, many celebrities live a fake life but despite the fame she enjoys, she has made a conscious effort not to live like them.
“I still go to the market to buy groceries; I don’t like the idea of living the life of a celebrity. Sometimes when I want to go out, I take public transport. There was a day I boarded the BRT bus in Lagos to get to the popular Balogun market; I could hear the passengers whispering to one another.
“They were arguing if I was the one or not. They were saying Tope Alabi is not a poor person so there is no way she will be on a public bus. When I was about to alight from the bus, I revealed my identity to the driver, and this made many of the passengers to also get down from the bus to take pictures with me.
“Sometimes, it is necessary to have a taste of what it feels like to be an ordinary woman on the street. Many celebrities do not live their real life and are not free to do whatever they like; that is why I don’t restrict myself. When someone is not free to do what they feel like doing, like every other person on the street, it causes depression which can even lead to death.
“Some people try to sell fabric worth N20,000 to me at the rate of N100,000 because I am a celebrity; they don’t bother to find out if I have that kind of money or not. Living a fake life can lead to indebtedness as some celebrities always want to meet up to a certain standard,” she said.
Alabi explained how she enjoys going on long walks in her neighborhood, describing it as “the kind of life I like.”
“Someone once told me to get escorts for security reasons, but I declined because I didn’t need them and still don’t need them. I am still discrete about my movement but I still live a normal life.
“I believe in buying only the things I can afford; I’m not materialistic. I always hear different stories of celebrities that lie about their material possessions; there is no need to live an extravagant life at all,” she added.
Describing how she felt about the acceptance of the viral music, Alabi said she had no idea she would become a successful gospel artiste.
Citing her first two albums as an example, the singer recalled how gospel songs were poorly accepted at the start of her music career.
“The Holy Spirit gave me about 16 songs on the spot on the day we recorded, ‘Logan Ti Ode.’ It was not planned, we were supposed to be singing together but the Holy Spirit had other plans for us. It was after the whole thing that TY Bello revealed to me that the Holy Spirit told her to keep quiet while I sang.
“There was none of my old songs on that track; it was supposed to be a photo shoot and a moment of worship. So, when we finished the photo shoot, TY Bello called a keyboardist and a drummer to join us; the plan was just to do a family worship. However, immediately I noticed the presence of the Holy Spirit, I had to suspend what I was doing prior to that time and I followed His leading.
“I am still in awe of how the song went viral within a short time; some of my songs had gone viral like this before but this is exceptional. When I started gospel music, I didn’t expect to be this famous; I am even afraid because the fame and fans are overwhelming. I am afraid because I fear God.
“What if I had been discouraged when my music was not paying my bills? I used to struggle to pay my children’s school fees. I once hired a bus for my band members and had to pay by instalments,” she said.
She recalled how some marketers she had taken copies of her first album to, asked her to come and take them away as no one was buying.
“When I gave the compact discs to some marketers, they asked me to come and take them back because people were not buying them. I was very discouraged; I made up my mind not to sing again. I told God that there was no way I would do music as there were other things I could do that would fetch money for me.
“Four years after, I did another album and people still did not buy it. It wasn’t until I added another song that people started buying the album,” she added.
Interestingly when she was young, Alabi’s parents wanted her to become a Sister as according to her, they knew she would work for God.
“When I was about seven years old, my parents told me God was going to use me but I didn’t believe them, they actually thought I was going to be a Sister because I was born into a Catholic family.
“I told them I didn’t want to be a Sister even though I loved Catholicism. They were worried that I didn’t want to go to the convent. My mother always insisted that I would work for God. Interestingly, I got my style of singing from my mother. Sometimes, when I sing, I listen to her voice in me,” she told Saturday Beats.
Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Tope Alabi has narrated how she lives a simple life despite being a celebrity and almost became a nun due to parental pressure.
Sometimes, when I sing, I listen to her voice in me,”
On living a private life despite her celebrity status, she said ;
“I still go to the market to buy groceries; I don’t like the idea of living the life of a celebrity. Sometimes when I want to go out, I take public transport. There was a day I boarded the BRT bus in Lagos to get to the popular Balogun market; I could hear the passengers whispering to one another.
