A post which was shared on the microblogging platform X by @Rotankwot has received different reaction from internet users.

The post, which was a screenshot of a chat between the man and his cook, included a list of some food items and their prices.

Netizens were forced to react after they sighted the prices of some food items on the list, which they described as outrageous.

In their opinion, the cook was cheating her boss by charging him double of the price of the food items on the list.

The user who shared the post had earlier complained about the high cost of living via his caption, where he wrote;

“Cook sends me a bill for Stew and vegetable soup for this week. A stark reminder that Food inflation in Lagos is higher than the Nation. All eyes on the @cenbank and their inflation targeting going forward”

He later attached that the cook had reduced the price of some food items after he showed her what people were saying online.

A woman’s day at the beach took a shocking turn when she was arrested after being caught in a compromising situation.

Christine Revels-Glick, 34 at the time, was discovered pleasuring herself with a vibrator on a beach in Georgia, United States, under the assumption that nobody would witness her actions.

However, her escapade did not go unnoticed.

People in the vicinity not only saw her but also heard her unmistakable “moaning.” Alarmed witnesses promptly alerted the authorities, who swiftly arrived at the scene.

A Nigerian lady who identify as @orimimabayomije, has shared on the microblogging platform X how a security guard at the Rock View Hotel assaulted her and her husband.

She said that the security guard assaulted them because they tried taking a meal they got outside, into their hotel room.

She also mentioned that her husband tried to speak with the manager because she was on malaria drugs, but nobody was attending to them.

Her husband then advised her to take the food to the room and use her medication while he spoke to the manager when he shows up.

The security guard swung into action when she tried taking the meal to their room, pouring the food away and hit her and her husband severally.

Narrating the ordeal she wrote;

“When we lodged on Friday, there was no orientation whatsoever that they don’t allow external food. On the Friday we lodged, I ordered Rice and chicken which they said was 6,500 naira. The food was uneatable; The rice was half done and didn’t taste like any rice I’ve eaten in my life.

Fast forward to this night, we left an event at Farmcity, got dinner from there, which was 11,400 security did protocol “did we know we weren’t supposed to bring in food from outside?”, we said we didn’t know, but after our ignorance, he insisted we can’t take the food in. We went to the reception to ask for the manager…..”

Recall that during the weekend Israel had called out his estranged wife, Sheila Courage and her parents online for allegedly defrauding him.

A video which was shared on social media and has gone viral, captured a Nigerian lady damaging some properties in an apartment while moving out.

According to the caption attached to the video, the lady claimed that her landlord refused to refund her 3 months caution fee.

She wrote; “POV: your landlord refuse to refund your 3 month caution”

A caution fee which is an amount of money someone has to pay when they rent a property, but is to be returned to the tenant if nothing was damaged.

The landlord however went against this, thereby going against the agreement they had both signed while she was moving in.

This resulted in the lady destroying majority of the properties within the apartment, like the toilet water closet, the mirror in the bathroom, staining the walls and more.

In her opinion, since the landlord would not refund the caution fee, he should use it to repair the things she damaged on her way out.

Davido’s personal logistics manager, Israel DMW, has shared screenshots of messages he received from women shooting their shots at him following his recent marital crisis.

Recall that Israel and his estranged wife, Sheila Courage, made headlines over the weekend after revealing the reasons behind their marriage crash.

Israel took to social media to call out her family, accusing them of pressuring him to pay N1 million for marrying their daughter, who was a virgin.

Sharing a screenshot of a bank transfer receipt via his Instagram page, he wrote in part, “The receipt of [N]1m, part of money sprayed at the wedding. Sheila’s parents held my neck to share with them since their daughter is a virgin. They also compelled me to buy her iPhone 14 Promax [N]1.2m, she’s using.”

He also shared a lengthy post explaining his side of the story and detailing why their marriage fell apart barely seven months after their society wedding in Benin City in October 2022.

He claimed that she dumped him as soon as she became popular on Instagram and accused her and her family of being gold diggers who defrauded him.

However, Sheila went online to counter his accusations, revealing that she left the marriage due to emotional and domestic abuse.

She recounted instances when he locked her out of their matrimonial home over minor issues and warned her against turning on the generator when he wasn’t around.

She also claimed that she encouraged him to start a business venture and ‘build up an empire’ besides working for his boss, Davido, but he refused to heed her advice.

Contrary to Israel’s claims that her family are “gold diggers”, Sheila disclosed that she is from a well-to-do family, adding that her dad and former Edo State governor, Adams Oshiomhole, are “first cousins”.

Despite the messy drama, some women trooped to Israel’s DM to ask him to marry them since his wife is not cooperating with him.

Former Paralympic champion Oscar Pistorius has been granted parole and will be released from prison nearly a decade after being incarcerated for the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.

He successfully won his case during a parole board hearing, leading to his imminent release.

The South African athlete, who is a double amputee, shot and killed Steenkamp on Valentine’s Day in 2013.

In 2016, he was sentenced to 13 years in prison for her murder, claiming that he mistook her for an intruder and that the shooting was a tragic mistake.

The Department of Corrections in South Africa announced today that Pistorius will be released on January 5, following which he will undergo therapy for anger management.

However, he will remain under supervision and will be restricted from leaving the area of Waterkloof, where he will be residing with his family for a period of five years.

Singabakho Nxumalo, spokesperson for the Department of Corrections, emphasized that parole does not signify the end of Pistorius’ sentence, but rather a continuation of it outside the prison facility.

The conditions attached to his release include specific guidelines regarding his presence at home and work, as well as a prohibition on alcohol and drug consumption.

In response to the decision, Rob Matthews, spokesperson for June Steenkamp, Reeva’s mother, stated that the parole board believed Pistorius met the criteria for release.
