Veteran Nollywood actor Tony Umez and his wife, Patsy Ogochukwu, are celebrating their 24th wedding anniversary today, November 16.

Tony took to his Instagram page to share lovely photos of himself and his wife with a romantic caption in which he expressed his undying love and devotion to her.

The 59-year-old actor asserted that he would rather be with his wife in bad times than be with someone else in good times.

He wrote,

Nollywood actress, Etinosa Idemudia has revealed that she is planning to undergo surgery to remove her womb to end the cycle of reproduction.

Etinosa made this revelation on the microblogging platform X and explained that she wants to take off her womb because she doesn’t want her children to come into this world to wait for death.

According to her, the primary cause of death is life, and once the cycle of reproduction ends and lives are not created, death will also end.

The mother of one tweeted,

“The primary cause of Death is life itself. So to stop Death, one must put an end to reproduction. What is never born will never die. Even I myself am not ready for this deep conversation. It’s deeper than I can comprehend.”

In response, a fan concurred with her statement and added that if she were given a choice not to come into this world, she would take it because she doesn’t understand the essence of life.

The fan wrote, “The reason why most people don’t want to have kids lol
If God made it as a choice actually I wouldn’t have accepted to come here at all because what is the essence at the end of the day?”

It was at this point that Etinosa revealed her intention to surgically remove her womb.

Police Rescue Three Kidnapped Victims And Apprehend Robbery Suspect in Kaduna State

In a commendable display of courage and effectiveness, the Kaduna State Police Command has successfully rescued three victims who were kidnapped in Kidandan village, Giwa Local Government Area.

The spokesperson for the Command, ASP Mansur Hassan, revealed to reporters on Wednesday, November 15, that the victims were rescued by vigilant police officers on November 13.

The remarkable feat was accomplished through heightened patrols in the area, which made the bandits to abandon their captives.

The victims had been kidnapped on October 3 while traveling to Kano along the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway.

Fortunately, they have now been reunited with their families, bringing a glimmer of hope and relief to their loved ones.

In another display of swift action, officers on patrol encountered a man in great distress with a swollen face.

Upon questioning, the man revealed that he had been attacked and robbed of his motorcycle by a passenger wielding a hammer.

The diligent response of the officers led to the prompt arrest of the suspect in the Bagadaza Dogarawa area of Sabo Garin Zaria Local Government Area.

The police also recovered the stolen motorbike and the hammer.

ASP Mansur Hassan confirmed that investigations into the case are currently taking place.

He further appealed for the support and cooperation of the public in the ongoing efforts to maintain peace and security.

Nigerian stylist and actor, Abbey Chile Abuede popularly known as Sexy Steel, has revealed that he is a principled man who won’t compromise his morals for any amount of money.

Speaking on an episode of Frankly Speaking podcast with OAP Nedu and ID Cabasa, the stylist stated that nothing could make him drink alcohol.

He talked about how he lost out on a big endorsement contract with Guinness because he doesn’t drink.

The stylist claimed that at a meeting with the executive team of the firm, they requested that he tries one of their new products, but he turned them down.

He asked to have another drink put inside, but they required that he sample it first in order to be their marketing representative.

Steel maintained his position and his refusal made them give the contract to music icon 2baba.

The musician said that his management was upset with him and questioned whether he was mentally ill for turning down such a significant opportunity because of alcohol.

He said that he later met one of the top executives of the company at an event years later, and the man praised him for sticking to his no-alcohol principle.

According to the man, Sexy Steel was the one who helped him recognize that material wealth is not everything.

Celebrity stylist and Youtuber Miss Demz have shared her encounter with a bolt driver who assaulted her during a ride.

The Youtuber stated that she had asked the driver to take a better route to reach her destination faster but he replied her rudely.

Upon reaching her destination, he refused to end the ride and demanded payment of an amount he randomly asked for.

The YouTuber, on the other hand, refused to pay the driver until he ended the ride, which resulted in an exchange of words between the creator and the cabbie.

The people at her destination, which happened to be a hotel, did not help matters as they took sides with the driver and blamed the creator.

According to her, the security man at the hotel handed the driver two thousand, even though she did not ask him to, but he refused to take it.

Instead, he told the creator that within seven days she would face consequences, a statement the creator rejected repeatedly.

In a heartwarming gesture of philanthropy, renowned English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has made a unique donation to East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), his hometown charity.

The 32-year-old musician has generously contributed nearly 450 items of clothing, including a surprising 149 pairs of his own boxer shorts, to be auctioned off on E-Bay in support of the cause.

Growing up in Framlingham, Suffolk, he decided to give back to his community by donating his personal wardrobe to EACH’s shop.

Alongside the boxer shorts, which includes half that have been worn by the artist himself, the collection includes 20 jumpers, 11 pairs of trousers, 14 hats, six onesies, and an impressive 73 pairs of socks.

Additionally, there are seven pieces of Ipswich Town merchandise, his beloved football team.

As an ambassador for EACH since 2014, Sheeran’s contribution will be auctioned off on the charity’s eBay site.

Notably, the clothing items will be sold in their original condition, unwashed and unironed, and will come with a signed letter of authenticity from Ed Sheeran himself.

Kevin Clements, EACH’s director of fundraising and communications, expressed his gratitude, stating that the singer’s extraordinary gesture will raise substantial funds for the charity’s noble endeavors.

Despite his soaring success and global fame, Ed Sheeran remains a steadfast champion for EACH, touching the lives of children in need with his unwavering support.

A shocking new twist has emerged in the family saga of ailing Nollywood actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu.

Popular Nigerian afrobeat singer David Adedeji Adeleke known professionally as Davido has boasted about winning the Grammy awards.

The singer who was part of the African artist that were nominated for a Grammy award bagged three nominations in a roll.

Davido, who was included for the first time in the Grammy nominations list, had since been celebrating the recognition online.

In a recent video which was shared on Instagram, the singers cousin, Bred was seen hailing Davido in a family gathering.

Bred emphasized on the fact that his cousin bagged three nominations. Why hailing Davido, He responded by saying “It’s coming baby.”

Reality TV star Bella Okagbue has responded to a fan who questioned how she would react if her relationship with her co-star Sheggz doesn’t lead to marriage.

Recall that Bella and Sheggz met during the 2022 season of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show and have been inseparable since then.

Bella has repeatedly professed her undying love for Sheggz and her intention to stick with him, despite the opposition they faced after the show ended.

Members of a church in Mexico claim to have witnessed a miracle after a statue of the Virgin Mary appeared to be shedding tears in the church.

The unusual phenomenon, which took place in El Chanal, has garnered the attention of both believers and skeptics, with hundreds of people reportedly flocking to the church to witness the ‘weeping’ virgin.

Several videos shared on social media show water droplets seemingly coming out of the statue’s eyes and running down its face.

A resident of the community identified as Ramos said, “Similarly, when we cry, and our eyes become red, the same happens to the image. So a couple of tears started flowing. This is the event, the phenomenon that is happening here in the church.”

Some people have associated the tears with the prevailing insecurity in Colima, which has been plagued with a wave of violence.

Victor added: “We can associate it with… the violence rates that are being experienced here in the state of Colima, also here in the community.”

As of October, the Colima Prosecutor’s office had recorded 702 cases of intentional homicides.

A pilgrim, Maria Mercedes Hernandez, said: “Peace, may she give us peace in Colima and throughout the world, that we may return to the Colima of before.”

As expected, some skeptics have opined that there is a scientific explanation for the crying statue. Professor Luigi Garlaschelli averred that some statues can soak up water due to the porous materials they are made of.

Garlaschelli explained:

“You need a hollow statue made of plaster or ceramic, which must be covered on the outside with a waterproof layer.

“By filling the statue with water through an imperceptible hole at the top, the porous material will absorb it, but the outer layer will prevent it from coming out.

“However, if a slight scratch is made in the protective glaze in the tear duct area, the absorbed water will come out through it as if it were tears.”

The Nigerian music industry has been plunged into mourning as Nigerian rapper Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji, better known as Oladips, has passed away.

The sorrowful news of his demise was confirmed in a post shared on his Instagram page by his management on Wednesday morning, November 15.

They revealed that he died on Tuesday evening. However, the cause of his death was not disclosed, but they hinted that he had been battling with an ailment for two years.

This comes just a few hours after he was rushed to the hospital while fighting for his life. The rapper was heard pleading with his friend—OnlyOneLifetime on Instagram—to drive him to the hospital in a video that was shared online.

Famous rapper, Oladips has reportedly been rushed to the hospital in the wee hours of yesterday while fighting for his life.

The rapper was heard pleading with his friend—who goes by OnlyOneLifetime on Instagram—to drive him to the hospital in a video that recently surfaced online.

Oladips posted a message on his Instagram story before being taken to the hospital, pleading with his friend who had left the house to get him some medication to hurry back.

Oladips was heard asking with his companion to take him to the hospital in the leaked footage. He apparently passed unconscious on the way to the hospital, and his buddies who were nearby could be heard calling his name as he was being brought there.

The primary cause of the illness has not yet been disclosed.

Stellamaris Okafor, wife of veteran Nollywood actor, Mr. Ibu has revealed that her stepson and Jasmine were going to go to the UK as a couple and that she had no intention of using Mr. Ibu’s money to buy an iPhone and engage in BBL.
