Nigerian singing sensation, Omawumi, took a swipe at the head of states, President Buhari and Atiku Abubakar who are the presidential candidates of the two major parties in Nigeria.
Omawumi who was admonishing her fans at the Felabration concert, where she performed, told them to do the right thing even though the two major parties have an incompetent old man and someone who is somehow corrupt as their Presidential candidates.

Popular show promoter Kogbagidi last week lashed out at YAGI Boss, Lil Kesh saying the singer didn’t have what it takes to become a leading artiste again.
While reacting to Kogbagidi’s statement, Kesh tweeted that the Internet is like a market square and those who can’t take care of their baby mamas would always want to take out their anger on others.
However, in a chat with Sunday Scoop, Kogbagidi said the singer must have taken excess alcohol when he posted the tweet.
He said:
“I am happily married and blessed with kids. I only have a woman in my life and she is not a Nigerian. If you check my Instagram page, you will see photos of my family. If he (Lil Kesh) says I have a baby mama, he must have taken something strong. My wife and children live in the United Kingdom and I visit them frequently.”
He also said Kesh had nothing on him, insisting that he only made an honest assessment of his music and growth.
The show promoter stated:
“The entertainment industry is all about talent and creativity. Over the years, a lot of new acts have been discovered and more are still coming in. After Lil Kesh left YBNL, Olamide has signed new artistes. What I said shouldn’t be an issue as I was only evaluating the industry. I don’t have anything against him and I am not trying to pull him down. I am a fan of Lil Kesh, but he is not doing well at the moment.
“He needs to be creative. He should take what I said and work on his music. If he puts out something nice, I will speak well of him. I have called him for shows many times and paid him fully. If he has taken what I said personally, it means he is not a good artiste.”
According to Kogbagidi, Kesh is below him regardless of how much he has made in life.
He said:
“I am a show promoter; I have never begged him for money and I have never owed him money for any show. I have dealt with people bigger than him in the industry. If I go to him tomorrow with a show worth N10m, he cannot reject it.”
So media personality, Toke Makinwa shared a photo on her Instagram page as is her usual wont, looking all flashy and classy while in London.

Reality TV star Bambam has disclosed that though she was evicted at the early stage of the competition but she felt so much relieved of the entire stress and happenings in the house.
She made this revelation in a new interview with Sunday Punch, where she also talked about her educational background, career and future aspirations.

Background
I am the first of two children born into a religious family; I have a younger brother. My father was in the military and my mother is a retired nurse.
My father was a diplomat and that afforded us the opportunity to travel around the world. At different times, I lived in the USA, France, UK, and other countries in Europe. I have great memories of my life as a kid but I have more memorable experiences as an adult. I had a basic upbringing and our parents were very protective of us.
Education
For my elementary education, I attended Nigerian Navy Primary School, Apapa, Lagos State. I went to La Folie St. James, Paris, France, for my post-elementary education. I got admission to Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State, as a medical student, but later got a direct entry admission into The Bells University, Ota, Ogun State, where I bagged a second class upper degree in Microbiology.
Acting
I got into the movie industry when I came to Lagos from Abuja in 2017 and enrolled at the Royal Arts Academy. While in school, I featured in my first movie titled, The Backup Wife, by Uduak Isong, where I acted alongside Seun Akindele and Bimbo Ademoye.
Big Brother Naija
I auditioned for the previous edition of the reality show in Abuja but didn’t make it in. After film school, I decided to give it another shot; this time, in Lagos. I remember the night I got called; I was actually house-hunting. I’d just finished film school and wasn’t sure I wanted to go back to Abuja. Although I was a bit nervous, I was still very excited.
I didn’t believe I could get called, especially because I was quite different from other contestants at the audition. Getting into the house, I was homesick for some days but because of my adaptive nature, I was able to get by. Sadly, when there was tension in the house, it sort of wore me out. I didn’t enjoy the negativity that went around. When I got my eviction from Big Brother Naija, it felt like a gush of fresh air.
Parents’ reaction
My parents were not supportive of me going into the house but I was doing the exercise for myself and over time, they got to understand that. Of course, they weren’t excited that their child was in a reality TV show but as a grown up lady who is responsible for her own decisions, they got to respect that.
Challenges
The only challenge I’ve had since leaving the house is trying to balance my new reality, though nothing has really changed. The hustle is the same but there’s just a bigger platform that has put me out there to be known and seen by more people.
Fame
Fame has made me more grounded because there’s the likelihood to get carried away if one is not careful. I like to pride myself as a planner and dreamer; an ambitious person. Before film school and Big Brother, I had made up my mind to achieve my goals and BBN was a means to an end for that. I wouldn’t say fame came to me by surprise; I wanted to be picked.
Other interests
Big Brother is in the past but I’m still acting. I’m also an entrepreneur. I own the Bam Beauty Product line. I am working on a partnership because money must be made and it would be nice to stay relevant for a long time.
Although acting is my first love, I can’t depend solely on it. Luckily, with running my own businesses, I cannot succumb to silly demands in the industry. I’m seen as a style and brand influencer, among other things.
Role models
Some of my role models are Meryl Streep, Kerry Washington, Taraji P. Henson, Victoria Beckham, Oprah Winfrey, Mahatma Ghandi, Mother Theresa, and Mo Abudu. Jesus Christ is a big mentor also, because He spent all His life doing good and it is my desire to be a blessing like Him.
Hobbies
I love watching movies and travelling. I also love having great conversations and interestingly, I love spending time with puppies. I like painting and singing as well. Of course, you can’t take away the joy of spending time with loved ones. Finally, I love to learn new things.
Fashion
I am a creative and expressive person, so I see fashion as an extension of myself. What I wear defines my mood at any given moment. I am generally attracted to comfortable and smart outfits. Sometimes, when I’m in the mood for it, I could choose to go in dramatic outfits, like what I wore to the AMVCA 2018.

The Senior Special adviser to the President on Diaspora and Foreign Affairs Hon. Abike Dabiri Erewa has reiterated that the present administration is committed to improving the nation’s healthcare system through liaising with Nigerian doctors in Diaspora.

We are relying on Nigerians healthcare givers that have gained landmark in other countries to come back home and strengthen our healthcare system.” She said.

The mother of whose son, a notorious robber was killed has opened on his criminal lifestyle which reportedly led to his death.
The 21-year-old man identified as Lelethu Manini from Cape Town, South Africa, who robbed people, was killed last Sunday. His family suspects a robbery went wrong or that his friends were involved.
The mother of the deceased, Funeka Manini, who revealed she’s relived following her son’s death, said:
“It is only right to feel bad about what has happened because he was my son. I never wanted him to be a skollie (hoodlum) but I knew something like this would happen some time because of the life he was living.
“He was shot this year but continued to do bad things.”
Funeka was at church when her family came to fetch her. She immediately knew something bad had happened to her son.
“My gut told me my son was dead because the past few days were tough. “We haven’t been able to sleep because of his friends. “I was living in fear because the drugs he was using controlled him so he would sell everything he could find in the house.”
Anathi Nkampule (46) said residents are happy.
“Some would say we don’t have hearts but these kids are terrorising us and taking what we have worked hard for, just for drugs.”
He said they feel for Funeka because she never sent her son to steal from people.
“We know he sold her belongings when he wanted tik. God took him, which is good for all of us. May he rest in peace since we are also going to have peace now.”
A Nigerian prince with the name, Obukeni Prince Monday Ochendu from the family of His Royal Majesty Edward Obukeni 1 (Jp) Ovie Of Igbide Kingdom in Delta State, is set to marry two wives next Saturday, October 27th.
Brides of the Nigerian prince have been identified as Miss Ufuoma Ozoro and Miss Oghale Andrew, and according to reports, their wedding ceremony will take place at Uruwhre Quarter, Igbide Kingdom Isoko South Local Government Area of the state.

A wife has cried out after her husband annulled their wedding without her knowledge then got married to another woman.
Mrs Bibiana Linus Onyeulo said her husband, Mr Linus Uzodinma Chibuzo Onyeulo, who married her in the Catholic Church, annulled their wedding without her consent then began planning a wedding with another woman.
When Mrs Onyeulo found out, she complained to the parish priest of All Saints Catholic Church, Avutu Obowu in Imo state. She also reported to the Catholic Bishop of Okigwe diocese, Most Rev. Dr Solomon A Amatu. Rev. Amatu asked her to get a copy of the annulment letter her husband obtained from the Vicar of Okigwe diocese, Rev. Fr. Michael Agbayi.
She was still in the process of trying to get the letter when she got information that her husband, who fixed his wedding to hold in Lagos on October 20, 2018, had already married the woman at their home town on Sunday, October 14, in the Catholic Church. The couple was joined by the parish priest of All Saint’s Catholic Church, Avutu Obowu, Imo state.
Mrs Onyeulo said:
It was quite surprising that the parish priest of All saints catholic church, avutu Obowu imo state, was same person whom i made complains to about all that was going on and my intention to call off my husband’s wedding in Lagos and on how he has conspired and annulled our wedding without my consent was the same Priest who united my husband’s wedding in my home town without my knowledge and even before the wedding date fixed in Lagos on the 20th Oct 2018.
I am also well informed that, Catholics don’t unite wedding on Sundays, but same All saints catholic church, avutu Obowu imo state, parish priest did. So how could this happen? How could this priest do such?
She said she returned to the Bishop of Okigwe diocese to report the new development to him, that her husband had married someone else before the conclusion of their case.
The Bishop still asked her to go and get the annulment letter from the Vicar of Okigwe diocese, a letter the Vicar refused to give her until he gets a confirmation from the Bishop of Okigwe.
The Vicar eventually agreed to forward the letter to the Bishop and asked the aggrieved wife to return October 23, 2018.
To stop the wedding of her husband from holding in Lagos today, Mrs Onyeulo wrote a letter to the parish priest of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church Ladipo, Oshodi, Lagos State, asking that her husband should not be joined in holy matrimony with another woman since they had not properly ended their marriage, at least not with her knowledge or consent.
Her letter read in part:
I simply request that my husband’s wedding should be stopped until I get to the root of his conspiracy and also get an appeal, along with a fair hearing from the bishop and judicial Vicar of Okigwe diocese because if this wedding continues, it means this would be his third wedding in catholic church (One to me the genuine wife and twice the second wife).
In spite of her letter, her husband was joined again in holy matrimony to the other woman today, Saturday, October 20, 2018.
Reacting to the second wedding which held in Lagos in spite of her complaint, Mrs Onyeulo said:
Even after all my efforts, the church still sent went ahead to celebrate this wedding in Lagos even after being informed of the conspiracy and wedding to same woman already done in the east being 14th of this month and also today 20th of this month in Catholic church.
The worst is that st John parish church priest named Fr Patrick Obayomi who verbally confirmed to us that the wedding will not hold at his parish here in Lagos because I raised issue on the bans of marriage, that all files was transferred to the east where my husband’s first wedding was held to the 2nd wife.
Why did this wedding still hold, does it mean that the church representatives are no longer honest?

A Nigerian guy, who happens to be a Lagos youth Ambassador has sent Twitter into a frenzy following a tweet he shared on his page recently.
According to him, he won’t marry a lady who would not live with his mother in the same house cause to him, his mother comes first.
Now it’s not clear if he means to say, he’ll be living with his mother (or vice versa) in the same house when he gets married, but he sure made it clear that his relationship with any lady in that calibre would end.
He wrote,

In a post shared on her IG page, Tatiana Dikeh, the sister of Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, revealed she has been dealing with clinical depression and almost committed suicide about three weeks ago.
In her post, Tatiana, who has a daughter, said she drank hypo with the aim of killing herself. Luckily, she did not die.

Nigerian singing sensation, Timi Dakolo and Bukola Dakolo have been married for close to a decade now with three lovely children and he has revealed the secret of his successful marriage.
During a chat with Showtime, the Idol West Africa 2007 winner said;
“Communication is the life line. Make your partner your gossip mate. Sometimes it’s not love that keeps the marriage, its friendship. We just know ourselves and that’s how we have been able to come this far”
He added that despite their differences, his wife has surprised him a couple of times which is one of the things that sustains a marriage.
“Apart from fixing me, because I’m not a very organized person, she has fixed a vacation for us but I contributed half of the money though. And where she fixed the vacation for was my favorite place, Cape Town, I really love the environment, the landscape, the scenery”, he said.

Nigerian gay rights activist, Bisi Alimi has declared his support for one Dan Yomi after the latter came out as gay.
Yomi, a Nigerian who became the first black student Union president of Bournemouth University, UK, came out on Instagram and received massive support.
However, his parents, who are staunch Apostolic Faith members, are finding it hard to accept.
Yomi was also a fellowship president when he was schooling at Crawford University and some of his fellowship members are still in shock, while some have shown support for him.
Bisi Alimi and his husband have also declared their support for Yomi.
Davido and Kemi Olunloyo are at each other’s throat, after the latter claimed he’s still trying to recover after Chioma left him for impregnating another lady.
Kemi started the drama when she took to twitter to share that Davido is trying to recover from the Chioma heartbreak, thus standing a report where she previously revealed that his girlfriend left him over an alleged affair.
Writing on Twitter, Kemi wrote: “#hnngossip Close pals tell me Davido is trying hard to relax from the Chioma heartbreak by taking jacuzzi baths for relaxation and posting several belated pics in jets, parties etc. A close pal D.B says he will be announcing soon that he has left the relationship and moving on.”

Africa’s youngest billionaire, Mohammed Dewji, who was abducted about a week ago off the street outside a luxury hotel in Tanzania, has returned back home safely, the family company that he runs, disclosed on Saturday.
Mohammed Dewji, the 43-year-old CEO of the METL Group family conglomerate, was seized as he arrived for a morning workout in Tanzania’s commercial capital Dar es Salaam last week. ICYMI
“I have returned home safely’” METL Group quoted him as saying on its Twitter feed, without providing more details about how he was freed or got away from his captors.
The company also quoted him thanking those who had worked for his release, including the police.

A serving corps member was allegedly flogged by one Deacon Friday Udoka, the principal of her Place of Primary Assignment (PPA), the Government Technical College in Abak, Akwa Ibom State.
Reports have it that the assault was as a result of the lady, Kolawole Olaitan Adeola, helping her friend write her name in the attendance register of the college, on Friday, October 19, 2018.

A Nigerian lady identified as Ifot Lovemary, has reportedly lost her life during childbirth yesterday, October 19th, just six months after her wedding ceremony.
Her sister, Favour Ifot, who shared the quite tragic story on Facebook, disclosed that Lovemary had her wedding in April this year and died six months after.
