A beautician left paralysed when she was ‘catapulted’ from a super-king bed was having sex with a married millionaire at the time of the trauma accident.

Claire Busby, 46, is suing bedmakers Beds Are Uzzz for £1 million at the High Court in London after claiming the company’s defective product was to blame for her injuries.

The court heard she was performing a sex act on married lover John Marshall, 55, in her Surrey home at the time of the incident.

Mail Online reports Mr Marshall had been married to wife Sue, 48, for almost 20 years.

The couple, from Alloa, Scotland, had officially split just a few days before Mr Marshall’s ill-fated romp in August 2013.

Friends said the businessman’s family was left heartbroken when news of their relationship and Ms Busby’s injuries emerged.

One pal told Mail Online Mr Jackson left the family home to move to England and become Ms Busby’s carer but apparently returned three weeks later.He is now living with his third wife at a converted farmhouse near Stirling.

The friend said:

“It wasn’t only Claire Busby’s life that was ruined that day, the fall-out from that incident devastated a family.

“When Claire fell off the bed and broke her back John said he was moving down to Surrey to look after her, which left Sue very upset.”

When approached to respond to the claims, Mr Marshall said:

“When that incident happened we were separated, I was not with Susan at the time and I want to make that very clear. Susan and I separated in May and the incident happened in August.

“All this is dragging things up unnecessarily, my life is bad enough and so is Claire’s.”

On the accident,Mr Marhsall said:

“I recall that we had been making love and that Claire was on top of me, facing me.

“She sat up and rose off me, intending to sit back on her bottom, when she seemed to just roll of the bed.”I was expecting her to get up and, when she didn’t, I laughed and said ‘get up’. But she said that she had hurt herself.

“When I got up to look over the end of the bed, she was lying on her side with her arm underneath her.

“She said that she could not feel her arms and legs. I thought she was joking and laughed. She told me again that she had hurt herself and to call an ambulance.”

The 46-year-old claims the super-king was missing two feet, or “gliders” when delivered to her home, creating a hazardous “slope”.

But the company is denying all liability, insisting that the bed was properly assembled, complete with gliders, when supplied to her.

Former President of the United States, Barack Obama has declared that his wife will in no way run for presidency, quashing rumours of a possible 2020 bid.

A woman who allegedly disguised as a mad woman and sells used sanitary pads to suspected ritualists, was nabbed by residents after suspecting her movements.

It was gathered that the woman was nabbed picking used children pampers and women sanitary pads along the road.

According to Henry Chidon, a Facebook user from Enugu state who shared the report, the woman had been living in their street for many years as the residents thought she’s really mad and didn’t know what she was doing until she was seen picking the awkward items on Sunday night.

When she was caught, the woman begged for her life as she made some shocking confessions while being interrogated by the residents.

In a trending video posted online, the woman confessed that she picks the used pampers and sanitary pads which she sells to an unknown group of men.

She said when ever they come with their vehicle, she loads the bag of items she has already picked in their booth before she is paid.

She also confessed that she has given the unidentified men many bags of the used items during the course of the business.

Tragedy hit the Federal University of Agriculture (FUAM) in Makurdi as the Professor of Biological Sciences from the Ibo extraction, Prof Frank Onyezili committed suicide.

New Telegraph gathered that the incident which occurred last weekend, threw the entire university community into a state of mourning.

Onyezili took his own life, last week Friday, by drinking poison and leaving behind a suicide note.

It was gathered that his decision to commit suicide might not be unconnected with depression and loneliness after wife and children left him and moved out of the country.

Director of Protocol and Information of the university, Chief Mrs. Rosemary Waku confirmed the tragedy to newsmen on phone.

Mrs. Waku said, ‘Professor Onyezili committed suicide on Friday last week at FUAM’.

She stated that the late professor left a suicide note behind, but she cannot revealed the content of the note to journalists for the reason that she was to have access to the note .

Police spokesman DSP Moses Yamu told reporters that he was yet to get the detail of the incident from the Divisional Office.

When newsmen visited the residence of the deceased in the campus of the university, sympathisers mostly academicians were seen signing the condolence register.

They described him as a perfect gentleman and wondered why he commuted suicide.

Friday Udoaka, the Principal of Government Technical College, Abak, Akwa Ibom State, has apologized for flogging a female corps member in the school, Olaitan Adeola Kolawole.

Udoaka apologized at the NYSC state office, yesterday, in Uyo. He said he did not deliberately flog Kolawole, noting that he used the cane on her out of anger. The victim was said to have written the name of her friend, Dolapo Victoria in the attendance register of the school on Friday, October 19, 2018, when Dolapo was absent.

The principal who has just three years to retire from service was said to have flogged Kolawole for the “misdeamour” and dragged her outside the classroom in front of the students.

“No man is perfect, I have not beaten a corps member before. I am very sorry for using a cane on a corper. Adeola, I am very sorry for what happened. When I went back home, I felt bad for beating a woman. It is not true that I dragged the corper out of my office and flogged her before the students.

This is a man that behaves like a father, but I don’t know what happened that I behaved rudely with you. Please forgive me. The mistake will not repeat itself. Whatever is the cost of your treatment, I will bear the cost,” he said.

Responding, Miss Kolawole said she had no justification not to accept the apology of an elder saying, “For an elder to apologize for his mistake, I forgive him. I accept his apology.

My parents wanted to take up the matter, but I will talk to them not to pursue the case as they wanted”. The Commissioner for Education, Victor Inoka, who was also at the ‘reconciliation meeting’, made a personal donation of N50,000 to the corps member, for her treatment.

NYSC Coordinator, Amusu Julius, said he was writing his report on the incident to brief the corps directorate, but had to stop because the Commissioner for Education asked that a reconciliation be arranged between the parties involved.
