An unidentified lady was, on Tuesday, the 2nd of October, 2018, knocked down by a reckless driver in Abuja and this claimed her life.

The lady was said to be walking along the road near Apo bridge, when a Range Rover veered off the road and knocked her down, killing her instantly.

The killer driver (the boy in a black sweatshirt) was immediately arrested by the police and some road safety officials later arrived the scene.

Investigation revealed that the driver had no driver’s license.

The husband of the Nigerian Lady reportedly murdered by her nanny has mourned the death of his beloved wife.

Narrating the incident to LIB, a friend to the deceased, Ruby Galore, shared:

“My friend is married to an Isrealite and her husband is not always around. She lives in the house with her daughter and the maid, Johnson Becky, as well as the security guards.

“On the day of the incident, Becky after attacking her, locked her inside with her daughter, packed some of her valuables and went out of the house in search of a taxi man at about 11pm. No one knows the reason for the attack.”

“When she returned, she told the security guards that she was traveling to her village and needed to pack her things. The guards stopped her from moving out, insisting that Yemisi did not inform them she was traveling. They tried calling her phones but there was no response. Becky then told the guards that she wanted to go into the car to pick up her other phone so she can call Madam. That was how she fled and has not been seen till date. The next day, Yemisi’s husband instructed the security guards to break the door and enter the house. That was when they found her in the pool of her blood with stab wounds all over her body”.

Mourning the demise of his beloved wife, the husband, took to the gram to share a photo he took with his wife, 6 days before her death.

“16-Sept-2018 our last hours together before I had to get back to work… six days later she was gone”

Also sharing a photo from the burial ceremony in Abuja, he wrote: “Farewell my love on your last journey ?? May your pure and gentle sole rest in peace forever… The love of my life and my sole mate, I can’t believe it’s goodbye forever.”

A Nigerian Lady, identified as Ruby Galore on the gram, has taken to her page to narrate how a nanny, Johnson Becky, stabbed her friend, Yemisi, to death in the Asokoro area of Abuja, the country’s capital.

According to Ruby, the incident happened on the 23rd of September 2018, where the maid murdered her said employer in the middle of the night, in her sleep.

Narrating the incident, explaining what transpired, Ruby Galore, spoke to LIB in a telephone conversation, saying;

Galore said the case was reported to the police and investigation has commenced. Becky, from Akwa Ibom state, who has been with the couple for some time, had travelled out of the country with them a few times. There are fears that she might flee the country and evade justice for her alleged act.

Yemisi was buried last Wednesday at Apo cemetery.

A Nigerian Lady, identified as Erumu Ekperaboh on Facebook, took to her page to share a powerful testimony about her sister, who gave birth to a set of twins after 11 years and four months of waiting.

President Buhari has congratulated winners of All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries across the country, urging losers to demonstrate sportsmanship by accepting the outcomes without bitterness or resentment.

“In every competition, someone has to win and someone has to lose, but those who lost should not abandon the party or lose their enthusiasm for the advancement of the party,” the President said.

President Buhari advised Nigerian politicians to learn from several aspirants like Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State “who despite his loss didn’t abandon APC for another party because he was angry over the outcome of the gubernatorial primaries.’’

The President said that: “the larger interest of our party is greater than our individual ambitions, and we should therefore work together for its success, despite our losses. In politics, we shouldn’t lose hope permanently because tomorrow could present another opportunity for us to contest again and win.’’

He advised the losers of the primaries “to always put the party first because we are in it together to serve the country, and I am always proud of our members who demonstrate sportsmanship and a good party spirit.”

President Buhari also enjoined the winners “to show grace in victory instead of mocking the losers, as such action is capable of destroying party unity and cohesion. The tent is large enough for us.”

He added that “those elected should see their positions as a public trust instead of abusing their mandates to amass personal wealth at the expense of the ordinary voters who voted them into power.’’

Following president Buhari’s nomination by the APC, his special assistant on new media, Bashir Ahmad shared the below picture of the president dressed in traditional Igbo attire.

Immediately, Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan reacted to the photos, and he’s blasted the President for trying to “fool” Igbo and Yoruba again.

According to Reno, Buhari has started putting on Igbo and Yoruba attire again as the 2019 general elections approached.

Reno noted that the President used the antics in 2015 after which he declared 5 percent philosophy for the Southeast.

The former presidential aide tweeted, “Throughout the last 3 years, President @MBuhari preached a 97% versus 5% philosophy.

“Now that elections are around the corner, he has started wearing Igbo and Yoruba clothes again.

“If Buhari fooled you in 2015, shame on him. If he fools you again in 2019, shame on you.”
