President Buhari has departed Nigeria for New York where he will participate in the 73rd Session of United Nations General Assembly (UNGA73) which officially opened September 18, 2018.

The theme for this year’s Session is: “Making the United Nations relevant to all People: Global Leadership and Shared Responsibilities for Peaceful, Equitable and Sustainable Societies.”

The highpoint of President Buhari’s participation will be his address on Tuesday September 25th to the General Assembly on the opening day of the General Debate.

The President’s presentation of Nigeria’s National Statement is expected to reaffirm the nation’s commitment to international peace and security; sustainable socio-economic development; disarmament and denuclearisation; youth and women empowerment; climate change; rule of law and human rights; among others.

He is accompanied by his wife.Aisha Buhari.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the Osun State governorship election inconclusive.

The reason for the cancellation, according to the electoral body, is because the number of cancelled votes is higher than the margin between the two top candidates.

Peoples Democratic Party candidate Ademola Adeleke led the race with 254,698 votes, 353 votes more than his closest rival, Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress.

The margin was, however, less than the 3,498 votes that were cancelled during the poll.

After the results collation which evidently favors PDP, David calls out to INEC and President Muhammadu Buhari via his twitter account to do the right thing..

Meanwhile, Baring any unforeseen circumstance, there might be a rerun in the just concluded governorship election in Osun State.

From the results announced so far by INEC, the two main contenders, Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party and Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, APC, are running neck-at-neck.

The results obtained by our reporter so far showed that the PDP candidate is leading with just 910 vote margin.

According to the statistics of the results, the margin between the winner and the second runner in the contest would be far below the total cancelled votes in any way the arithmetic goes.

DAILY POST learnt that going by the intent and letter of the electoral law, the margin between the winner and the second runner must not less than the aggregate of the cancelled votes.

As the results of the election stand, the total number of cancelled votes is far above the accrued margin between the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and that of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Although, an agent of the PDP, Mr Dele Adeleke has complained about discrepancies in the allocated votes to his party in Ayedaade Local Government, claiming a total of 1000 votes are missing.

He also identified discrepancies in the figures allocated to APC in Olorunda Local Government, saying instead of 14, 254 votes scored by three party, INEC announced 16,254, citing discrepancy of 2000 votes.

As over three millions people in the state patiently await the announcement of the final results with by INEC with anxiety, the political atmosphere has been observed to be relatively calm and peaceful.

The wife of late reggae legend, Raskimono, identified as Efemena Okedi has died. Her death comes about a month after her husband who died on June 10th 2018 was buried.

According to music executive, Soso Soberekon who shared the news this morning, ‘very very Sad News That Late Reaggae Legend Raskimono’s wife Efe Okedi Raskimono is also dead at about 3.am today Sunday 23rd September 2018. Rest In Peace my friend and sister’.

Four days ago, a motorcycle rider, lost his manhood after an unidentified penis thief touched his leg and his private part suddenly disappeared.

The Okada rider narrated the strange ordeal to an Instagram user, @Sleeq2dabone, who had shared the bizarre story and videos on his Instagram page.

Giving an update on the strange case, @Sleeq2dabone shared two new videos of the bike rider, identified as George Innocent, summarizing his scary ordeal.

He also revealed that his penis has been restored back adding that he confirmed with an unidentified hospital.

Innocent also claimed that the doctors told him to have sex with a woman to confirm if his manhood is now functioning properly.

The bike rider said he initially refused but at the doctor’s incessant he went to a brothel adding that it was the first time he would patronize commercial sex workers.

Recall that it was reported that the penis thief hit the bike rider on his legs with a magic ring he wore on his fingers.

The timely intervention of the police saved the penis thief from jungle justice.

The incident happened Omole Phase2, Lagos State.
