In a beautiful act of kindness, a couple decided to gift their daughter’s teacher a brand new car. This was to stop her from entering the bus to work everyday.
In a post on IG, the girl’s mother shared a video of the teacher’s shocked but happy reaction to the gift, and wrote:
“When my husband tells me that the teacher who has been teaching my girls for the last few years has been catching multiple buses to get to and from work everyday in the hot sun and cold!
“He said we should give her something I said….say no more! When you ask me to define success….this is my response! (Give to those without expectations).

A female student has reportedly been barking like a dog immediately after her consultation with an Alfa for spiritual cleansing to avert calamity.
The Alfa, one Mustapha Hammed, 23, who was subsequently arrested, admitted to putting a live frog in the water the undergraduate used to bath during the cleansing process.
An investigation by the police revealed that the suspect raped the lady upon discovering that she was a student.
Thereafter, he allegedly wiped the blood with a piece of cloth.
Briefing newsmen at the command headquarters, Monday, the command boss, Imohimi Edgal, said:
“On July 12, 2018, a case of sexual assault by penetration was brought from Bariga Police Station to Gender Section for further investigation. The suspect, Mustapha Hammed who claims to be an Alfa. was introduced to the survivor through a mutual friend.
“The Alfa deceived the victim that he saw in a vision that she was going to die within 24 hours. He took the girl to Ikorodu, Lagos for cleansing so that she would not die.
“At Ikorodu, he forcefully had carnal knowledge of the girl said to be a virgin as at then. He thereafter allegedly wiped off her blood with a white handkerchief and since then, her father alleged that the girl has been behaving abnormally because she was completely devastated and traumatized by the incident”.
When approached, the suspect admitted to having raped the victim but denied wiping the blood with a cloth.
He said that his girlfriend brought the victim to him for consultation and in the process, concluded to marry her.
He said:
“ I told her ( victim) that during divination, I saw that she had a spiritual husband. She confirmed it and said that had been the cause of her problem. I told her she would need to undergo spiritual cleansing in my house at Ikorodu.
“I instructed her to bathe and pray three times. After the first bath, I secretly put a live frog in her water. When she saw it, she ran out to inform me. I told her it was a bad omen and that the only solution was for her to sleep with a man.
“I told her to call her boyfriend but she said I should sleep with her since he was far away.
“I did it because I love her and intend to marry her. But because she is my girlfriend’s friend, I couldn’t express my love for her. I did not clean the blood with a cloth”.
The suspect, according to the police boss, would be charged to court.
Nollywood Actress, Ronke Oshodi-Oke is celebrating her 44th birthday today and she released beautiful photos.
The mother took to her Instagram Page to post a birthday video and picture, which she captioned:
“Thank you Jesus for making me see this day. ??? Happy birthday Ibironke God bless my new age”.
She began her acting career with a drama group called Star Parade under the leadership of Fadeyi, a Nigerian actor but became an household name in the year 2000 when she featured in a movie titled Oshodi Oke, from which she got her stage name.
A Brazilian mother recorded a distressing farewell video to her family after a Cocaine capsule she was smuggling inside her stomach busted, causing her to overdose.
The lady identified as Deyse Ricarte, 28, was carrying 71 grams of cocaine from Brazil to Portugal inside dozens of pellets when one of them burst, police say.
A panicked Ricarte, who has an 11-year-old son, sent the video from her Lisbon hotel room to a friend back home after she began to feel unwell.
In the footage she can be seen patting her chest several times and breathing heavily.
‘Do you think my face is swollen or is it normal?’ she asks the camera.
‘I think I’m going to die, my friend. Oh Lord, help me. My friend talk to my mum and tell her I love her and my dad. I’m not going to make it. God help me.’
Ricarte even sent a picture of the hotel’s business card to her friend so she could raise the alarm.
She flew from Belo Horizonte, south east Brazil on July 8 and was found dead at dawn the following day in the Sao Pedro Hotel.
Police believe she agreed to smuggle the drugs in return for £2,350.
Ricarte also spoke to her boyfriend in Brazil who lived with her.
The family friend, who declined to identify herself, told reporters the boyfriend‘talked to Deyse for about two hours until she gave her last breath and fell back.’
According to her family, ‘Deyse suffered a sudden death’.
The autopsy report issued by Portuguese authorities indicated ‘drugs without authorisation were detected’ in her stomach.
Staff at the Lisbon hotel told Record TV that a man came to reception looking for the young woman, when she didn’t answer the phone, hotel security entered the room and found her dead.
A distraught aunt of the deceased woman, Lilian Souza, said: ‘We believe someone made a proposal to her and she might have swallowed some drugs.’
A cousin, João Vitor, said the family hadn’t known about the trip.
‘Deyse was always travelling, and we only found out about the video when it was sent to my aunt,‘ he said.
‘It was through this that we began to investigate to see if the information was true.’
The family friend said Ricarte had a dream of doing plastic surgery and may have agreed to smuggle the drugs to Europe to fund her plans.
‘The person who did this to her tried to do it with my friends,’ she alleged.
‘This person sent her there and said that she would have enough money to do her surgery. She didn’t like drugs, she was duped and sent to her death.’
Federal Police detective Ramon da Silva said those close to Ricarte are helping them with their inquiries.
‘We believe this is an international trafficking operation that could not be done by just one person,’ he said.
‘(Deyse) appears to have had support in Brazil and Portugal. Our suspicion is that the operation is based in Minas Gerais state because the passport was recently issued there and picked up on June 22 and she flew from Belo Horizonte (the state capital).
‘We suspect she ingested the narcotic substance shortly before taking the flight.’
He added: ‘Portuguese police are carrying out their investigations and examinations which will be passed on to the Brazilian authorities.
‘The Brazilian consulate in Lisbon is supporting the family with all the necessary assistance.’

An Akure Chief Magistrate Court has today ordered the Police to remand Adeyemi Alao, the boyfriend of late Khadijat Oluboyo, daughter of the former Ondo deputy governor, Lasisi Oluboyo, in prison.
Alao was arrested two Sundays ago for allegedly murdering Khadija, his girlfried of eight years and burying her remains in his room. It was alleged that he killed her for money ritual.
The Prosecutor, Mary Adebayo, told the court that Alao and others at large conspired to strangle Khadijat to death and buried her in his room.
She told the court that the accused committed the offence on July 1st at about 7:30 pm at Aratunsi Street, Oke-Aro, Akure.
According to her, the offence was contrary to and punishable under Sections 324 and 316 of the Criminal Code Cap. 37, Vol. I Laws of Ondo State of Nigeria, 2006. She moved a motion that the accused person should be remanded in prison custody pending legal advice from the State Director of Public Prosecution (DPP).
The defence counsel, Taiwo Gbadebo, did not object to the motion.
The Chief Magistrate, Victoria Bob-Manuel, ordered that Adeyemi be remanded in prison custody pending legal advice from the DPP.
She adjourned the case till August 23rd for the receipt of the legal advice.

She attended a £9,600-a-year nursery and no fewer than four public schools, then won a place at Oxford.
Under the name GraceFitUK, she already has more than a million followers online, where she shares exercise tips in tight sportswear. She uses social media to sell her own fitness products and endorses other brands with sponsored videos.
Miss Beverley went to Oxford after getting an A*, two A’s and one B at A-level at the prestigious St Paul’s Girls’ School in West London.
This followed periods at three other private schools during a six-figure education that began at a bilingual nursery, La Petite Ecole Francaise, which now costs £9,600 per year.
Her father, Peter, runs his own consultancy business, while her mother, Victoria, is a senior curator at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
However, instead of pursuing a high-powered professional career like many of her peers, Miss Beverley hopes to emulate the likes of Zoella – the British social media superstar worth an estimated £2.5million.
Social media stars or ‘influencers’ earn money through partnerships with brands which pay them to advertise their products. They can make up to £100 per post if they have up to 10,000 followers, while for those with a fanbase of 100,000, the money can rise to £350 per post.
Miss Beverley, who already posts around four sponsored videos a month, has 366,000 followers on YouTube and 837,000 on Instagram – meaning she could be commanding considerably higher fees.
The Oxford music student is due to complete her degree at St Peter’s College next year, and had intended to take a professional qualification afterwards to begin a career in law in the City. However, she has now decided to pursue and focus on her online work instead.
The undergraduate began posting photos online during her A-levels to track her exercise progress, and even blocked ‘around 400’ people she knew from accessing the page out of embarrassment. ‘I wanted to get fit for summer and didn’t expect it to continue,’ she said. Miss Beverley insisted that her social media commitments have not affected her studies. ‘If it’s a really stressful week and all I can post is a selfie then that’s that, it’s not the end of the world,’ she said.
‘I will never give the university a reason to think that they are not my top priority.
‘I’m extra-careful and extra-diligent and try extra hard in all my work. I can handle it and I can handle the stress. I like being busy. I’ve worked so hard to get to this point. I don’t want to look back and think “I could have done so much better”.’

A man identified as Sikiru, was, this afternoon, apprehended while having a carnal knowledge of his friend’s 12 years old daughter, around Muslim high school, Sagamu, Ogun State
A lady was said to have alerted the residents of the area after hearing the victim, Eniola, screaming in pain. Sikiru was, subsequently, mobbed while Eniola was rushed to the hospital. .
The suspect has since been handed over to the police from the Sagamu police divisional headquarters.
In related news, A middle-aged man got the beating of his life after he was caught raping a seven-year-old girl at Odion in Warri District, Delta State.
The suspect, identified as Tenimu, an ex-convict, who has always been in and out of prison, was allegedly caught in the act at around 16:00pm on Saturday, July 14.

Indonesian villagers armed with knives, hammers and clubs slaughtered 292 crocodiles in revenge for the death of a man killed by a crocodile at a breeding farm, an official said.
Photographs released by Antara news agency showed bloodied carcasses of the crocodiles in a large pile in the Sorong district of the eastern Indonesian province of West Papua.
The head of Indonesia’s Natural Resources Conservation Agency in West Papua said that the 48-year-old victim had entered the crocodile farm and was likely picking grass for animal feed when he was attacked.
“An employee heard someone screaming for help, he quickly went there and saw a crocodile attacking someone,” Basar Manullang said in a statement.
After the burial of the man on Saturday, villagers entered the farm and killed all the crocodiles. The farm had been given a license to breed protected saltwater and New Guinea crocodiles in 2013 for preservation and also to harvest some of the animals.
But one of the conditions was that the reptiles did not disturb the community, he said. “To prevent this from happening again, farming license holders need to secure surrounding areas,” said Manullang.
