President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday said the claims that being a Fulani, he must be encouraging the killings being perpetrated by armed herdsmen in parts of the country seemed to him that there was no limit to the evil in the minds of men.

An Igando Customary Court in Lagos on Wednesday dissolved the 10-year marriage between Mrs Florence Anyasi and her husband, Stanley Anyasi over infidelity.

The 36-year-old trader told the court that apart from numerous cases of his following women around, her husband used to sneak into their maid’s room to sleep with her.

“My husband is a womaniser, he used to leave me in the bed at night and sneak into my maid’s room. I have caught him severally on my maid’s bed sexually assaulting her.

“A neighbour approached me and told me to warn my husband to desist from asking her daughter to have love affairs with him.

“I once caught him sucking the breasts of my niece, who is a minor and he is also fond of wooing my friends,” she said,

The petitioner told the court that her husband had once tried to poison her when he brought food to her which subsequently caused her serious pain and vomiting.

“I was rushed to the hospital by neighbours, when I was diagnosed, it was detected that the food I just ate had been poisoned,” she said.

The mother of three said that her husband equally turned her into a punching bag, beating her at the slightest provocation, and has been calling her thief and prostitute in public.

The estranged woman stressed that her husband was irresponsible and unable to provide food or pay for the education of their children.

She urged the court to dissolve her marriage with Stanley.

The respondent, however, denied all the allegations and in turn accused his wife of adultery, claiming that her lover even bought a car for her.

“In January 2017 she came home with a car of N1 million, when I queried her where she got the car from, she claimed she bought it with her money.

“I strongly disagreed with her because she is only selling foodstuffs and can never afford that kind of a car,” he said.

The 40-year-old businessman said that his wife packed out of their matrimonial home in 2017 without his knowledge.

“I came home from work and discovered that my wife had packed all her belonging out with the children to start living with her lover.

“I called her severally, she refused to pick but she eventually picked my call last January and informed me that our last baby she delivered in May 2017 was not mine that the child belonged to the man she is presently living with.

“Before she even gave birth and packed out of my house, I always received information from people that they saw my wife in hotel with men but I always ignored them.”

NAN reports that on the allegation of turning her to a punching bag, Stanley said that he only beat her once when she stabbed him with bottle on his head.

The respondent urged the court to grant his wife’s wish for the dissolution of marriage saying that he too was no longer interested.

Delivering the judgement, the court president, Mr Akin Akinniyi, said that all efforts to reconcile the couple had failed.

“Since both parties consented to the dissolution of their marriage, this court has no choice than to dissolve the marriage.

“The court hereby pronounces the marriage between Mrs Florence Anyasi and Mr Stanley Anyasi dissolved today.

“Both of you henceforth cease to be husband and wife, each of you should go on his or her separate ways unmolested.

“The court wishes both of you well in your new journey of life.

“The court grants the custody of the children, age 10, 8, 6 respectively to their mother, the petitioner, pending when they attain the age of 18 years to decide who to stay with.

“The respondent must be responsible for the children’s school fees, medical bills and must be paying N15,000 monthly for the children’s feeding which must be channeled through the court,” Akinniyi ruled

Senate Takes Action On Death Of Female Corps Member Killed By Policeman

The Nigerian Senate has resolved to investigate the circumstances surround the death of Miss Linda Angela Igwetu, the NYSC Corper who was allegedly shot by a Police Officer two nights ago.

Senator Atai Aidoko, citing Order 42 and 52, raised the issue, stating that while on her way home with her friends, the corper was shot and rushed to Garki hospital, Abuja but was not treated because they needed a police report.

Commenting on the Motion, the President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, said:

“There are two issues here. One, is how could this have happened? How could the officer mistakenly or otherwise have shot in such a way that led to this young ladies death?

“Secondly, we have passed this Compulsory Treatment and Care of Victims of Gunshots Act, and the President assented to it on the 30th of December 2017.

“Until we start holding people accountable to these kinds of incidents, they will not stop. What is the point of us passing a Bill, and the President assenting to it, then it becomes law, and still, people will decide that they will not treat a patient.

“Is it that they are not well-informed? Is it that they were not aware that such a law exists? There are a number of issues that we need to address.

“Every Nigerian life is important. Especially young ones that are just about to start their own lives and careers. This is a loss that could have been avoided.”

The Senate resolved to:

Mandate its Committee on Youth and Sports to investigate the death of the NYSC Corper; mandate its Committee on Health to investigate the non-treatment of the patient, and; mandate its Committee on Police Affairs to investigate the cause of the incident.

All three Committees have been directed to report back to the Senate in 2-weeks.

A 27-year-old man identified as Paulos Amade from Orange Farm, South of Johanesburg, in South Africa, who lived a lavish lifestyle all his life and reportedly took his own life over a love tragedy, has been buried with lots of cash, cellphones, drinks and expensive clothes.

HE LIVED a lavish lifestyle all his life – and even in the grave he still had cash, cellphones and expensive clothes!

His friends and some family members poured beer into his grave and tossed in money, cellphones and expensive clothes as an expression of their love for the Skhothane King.

There was singing and dancing, drinking and crazy displays of riches as his friends celebrated his short life at Olifantsvlei Cemetery on Saturday.

According to a report by Daily Sun SA, the young man who is a father of three had committed suicide on Father’s Day by drinking beer laced with rat poison.

Photos which emerged online from his funeral ceremony showed how his friends and some family members poured beer into his grave and tossed in money, cellphones and expensive clothes as an expression of their love for him.

There was singing and dancing, drinking and crazy displays of riches as his friends celebrated his short life at Olifantsvlei Cemetery on Saturday.

It was gathered that at the cemetery where the man was buried, people were screaming, “Fakani futhi! Put more!” calling for clothes, cellphones and money to be thrown into the grave.

While speaking to a correspondent, Paulos’ sister, Jeannette Amade, disclosed that they knew Paulos as a man of style, so they let his friends celebrate him the way they wanted.

“We could not oppose the manner they wanted to celebrate him. When they poured beer and put money and clothes into the grave, we understood that it was the same way they did things when he was still alive,” she said.

Meanwhile, Refiloe Wa Ga Khunou, a cultural expert, said what the young people had done was pure disrespect.

“This undermines our culture. It is a meaningless publicity stunt created by people who seek fame,” he said.

“There is nothing respectful about people pouring beer into a dead person’s final resting place. If they wanted to celebrate him, they should have done it while he was still alive.”

According to reports, the 7.5kg of cocaine was smartly concealed in two flanges. Flanges are oil well equipment made of tough and thick steel.

The examination of the container, that brought them in, lasted for 10 days. The discovery of the illicit drug, entailed the use of cranes, fork lifts and electric metal cutting equipment

Court nullifies Imo APC congresses

A Federal High Court in Owerri has nullified wards, Local Government and State Congresses of the State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The presiding Judge of the court, Lewis ordered for fresh congresses in the state.

Allagoa, in a judgment that lasted for an hour, ordered APC, “to be responsible, save our democracy by conducting free and fair congresses in Imo State.”

He dismissed a motion filed by the defendants, insisting that his court had jurisdiction to hear the matter.

According to him, the exhibits tendered by the plaintiffs suggesting that there was no ward congress in the state on May 5, “was factual.”

The judge said that the recorded “press interview between the state commissioner of police, the state governor, Rochas Okorocha and Senator Osita Izunaso that there was no APC ward congress in Imo State on May 5 “was justifiable in law.”

Allagoa cited a report of the Independent National Electoral Commission, which confirmed that there was no APC ward congress in Imo State on May 5.

The judge said, “APC should go and be responsible and save our democracy. The defendants and the plaintiffs are members of the same political party, APC. There is no victor, no vanquished.”

The plaintiffs, who are a faction of the party loyal to the state governor, had approached the court seeking, among other things, a “declaration that the ward congress of the APC in Imo State which was fixed for May 5 was inconclusive and did not hold, since there was no result therefrom.”

According to reports from a family source, the elder statesman died at a hospital in Abuja today, 5th of June.

Ciroma served as a Minister of Finance under former president, Olusegun Obasanjo.

He was also a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Real Madrid have been left shocked by Cristiano Ronaldo’s decision to leave the European champions to join Juventus.

According to various sports websites, we can confirm the 33-year-old G.O.A.T is close to completing a move to the Serie A side, having already reached an agreement over a four-year contract worth €30 million (£26.5m/$35m) per season.

The news of his transfer to the Italian club was also revealed by disgraced former Juventus chief Luciano Moggi who claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo has ‘already signed’ from Real Madrid and passed a medical.

The 80-year-old who was Juventus’ chief executive from 1994 to 2006 before receiving a lifetime ban from football for his part in the ‘Calciopoli’ match-fixing scandal, told Italian TV network Tele7Gold: ‘In my opinion, he has already signed and passed the medical examination with Juventus in Munich.

‘This is what I think after talking to important people,’ he said.

Zambian man plans to sue his Teachers for teaching him things he can’t apply in society

A 27-year-old man old has taken to social media to complain that his teachers deceived him and he plans to sue them.

In a nine minutes video clip posted online, the young man identified as Robert Chikwanda from Lusaka, Zambia says his teacher’s taught him things that do no apply in society.

He said he is shocked that teachers were busy teaching him X + Y = 23 when all the formulas are not applying in society.

Chikwanda feels that his parents have been robbed because not even bank accountants use the English of rewrite.

“To all my teacher’s who taught me I’m taking you to court for robbing my parents money.

“You were busy teaching me rewrites in English, Starch, X + Y = 23 when none of the above is applying in society.

“In banks we don’t use rewrites. I feel you taught me things that you knew could not add value in society” complained the youth.

Yesterday he met two of his lawyers who agreed to help him deal with his ex primary and secondary school teachers.

TV Presenter Moni Osibodu says only mad people can live in Nigeria

A Nigerian TV presenter, Moni Osibodu has warned those outside the country not to return home because the “people living here alone are mostly mad”.

The Media personality who relocated to Nigeria three years ago, said Nigeria is more terrible than the United States.

Osibodu said everything in Nigeria is bribery and corruption, adding that the only way to function in the country is to become insane.

She wrote;

I’ve lived in Nigeria for 3 years and I’m not impressed. Everything is bribery and corruption!! Let’s not even talk about the government or the police yet, the people living here alone are mostly mad. If you’re not mad, you can’t function here.

So please if you know you’re normal, stay with Trump!! Do not listen to anybody’s advice to move back to Nigeria to make your country better. Your country is not ready to be better. Nigeria is not prepared yet. I know they said it starts from somewhere, don’t let it start from you. Let someone else lead before you put yourself in trouble.

This post is for people who constantly ask me would I advice them to move back. No I don’t, please live your best life in the abroad, your best life cannot be lived in Lagos. Even rich people leave the country to live their best life.

A Ghanaian Pastor identified as Pastor Tony Boateng is seen in a shocking video asking his congregation to pay before they can touch him.

The Pastor was on a ministerial visit to Nigeria and took to the Pulpit to ask his congregation to pay some amount of cash before they can touch him.

The video was shared on Twitter by @Im_Cutesunshine who wrote a lenghty post, talking about how Christians need to be careful about the church they attend.

She wrote:

Nigerian Military School exposes Duncan Mighty, says he isn’t an ex-student of the School

Popular Nigerian singer, Duncan Mighty, has been called out on social media after he tried insinuating that he is an ex-student of the Nigerian Military School.

He was called out by former students of the Nigerian Military school, Zaria, for claiming to be an alumnus of the school, precisely 1993-1999 set.

It all started after the singer shared a photo of himsef with some men in military uniform and captioned it:

”Nigeria is blessed #XBOYFORLIFE. Bumped into my #Coursemates …. way back in Nigerian Military School Zaria. #99 set proudly bravo company #NMS #almamatter.

However, soon after the post, ex-students of NMS trooped to his page to drag him for claiming to be a former student of the school.

”Impersonator claiming to be what you are not, and this junior clowns are there misbehaving”. one ex student wrote.

The matter didn’t end there as the NMS class of 99, went as far as putting out a press release on their official Instagram page to further distance themselves from him and request that Duncan Mighty ”desist from posing as an alumnus for whatever reasons or benefits known to him”

PRESS RELEASE: DUNCAN WENE MIGHTY OKECHUKWU IS NOT AN EXBOY!

In response to the outrageously false allegations posted on the 2nd of July 2018, by one Duncan Wene Mighty Okechukwu simply known as Duncan Mighty via his Instagram handle @duncanmighty

The Nigerian Military School Class of 99 (Also known as NMS93) would like to express it’s disappointment with Mr. Duncan Wene Mighty Okechukwu’s claims and issue the following statement to the media and to the public.

1. Duncan Wene Mighty Okechukwu was never a member of the NMS Class he claims in his Instagram post which has since gone viral on social media platforms and the internet at large.

2. He was never a boy/student of Bravo Company.

3. He has never attended either academic or military trainings as required for a student of the Nigerian Military School,

4. He is not an Ex-Boy (By definition and implication, an Ex-Boy is an individual who was admitted, successfully completed required military and academic trainings and with merit graduated from the Nigerian Military school with a testimonial credential signifying same)

5. He is no course mate of any genuine member of the graduating class of NMS99 also referred ceremoniously as The 41st Passing Out Platoon.

The NMS93 Alumni Association humbly requests that Mr. Duncan Wene Mighty Okechukwu desist from posing as an alumnus for whatever reasons or benefits known to him.

The association would also like to register its displeasure with the photographic images of Mr. Duncan where he appears in military camouflage with the service rank of Captain while not well groomed and wearing earrings.

While his intentions might be for good and not self-serving, from our perspective we insist that posing as a soldier albeit an officer is “a disservice to the proud men and women of the Nigerian Armed Forces, who earn the right to wear their uniforms for the hard work and sacrifices made for our country.” The association warns that anyone relating with Mr Duncan Wene Mighty Okechukwu, under the impression that he is an alumnus of NMS99 does so at their own risk. *Please continue in the comment section*
