I’m raging in anger right now – Efe reacts to killings in Plateau villages

Efe reacts

Big brother Naija 2017 winner, Efe Ejeba has reacted to the attacks carried out by Fulani Herdsmen in Plateau state which saw about 86 persons killed and 50 houses burnt.

The attacks were carried out on 11 communities in the Gashish District by suspected Fulani herdsmen.

Angered by the continous attacks, Efe shared on social media:

The killings in Plateau State must stop… how can people go to bury their dead be killed too.

“How much can we endure… that’s how the “Dogon Nahawa” killings have been forgotten.

“2019 is coming and we might repeat our mistakes again. I’m raging in anger right now. May God rest their souls. Amen

The affected councils, Barkin Ladi, Riyom and Jos South, were immediately placed under a dusk-to-dawn curfew by the state government.

The Police Command in Plateau state confirms the attack: “Sequel to the attack in the Gashish District of Barkin Ladi LGA yesterday (Saturday) June 23, 2018, the Commissioner of Police, Plateau State Command, Jos, Undie Adie, after deploying more personnel in the district sent a search and rescue team from the Command headquarters today (Sunday) for an on-the-spot assessment.

“The team headed by ACP Edeh John of the Department of Operations had also the DPO of the Barkin Ladi Division and a Unit Commander from Mopol 38. After a careful search of the villages attacked in the District,  the following were discovered: 86 persons altogether were killed, six people injured, 50 houses burnt, 15 motorcycles and two motor vehicles also burnt.

“The team also carried out a detailed deployment. Corpses were released to the families for burial. The command earlier in the day confirmed only 11 people dead as the result of the attacks due to the information at its disposal before the arrival of the search and rescue team from the Barkin Ladi LGA. This is to update members of the public of the situation as regards the attacks in the Gashish District as promised earlier on.”

Also, there were fears that some soldiers were missing during the attack but the Commander of the Special Military Task Force codenamed Operation Safe Haven, Maj. Gen. Anthony Atolagbe, dismissed the report. He said, “it’s not true, no soldier died and no soldier is missing.”

Tinubu calls Obasanjo a busy body, tells him to mind his business

Tinubu calls Obasanjo

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has asked Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo to stop interfering in the affairs of the ruling party.

He said that Obasanjo had no moral justification to ask President Muhammadu Buhari not to re-contest the Presidency in 2019.

Tinubu said this at the National Convention of APC in Abuja.

He went on to describe Obasanjo as a “busy body”, arguing that the achievements of President Buhari in three years could not be compared to those of the administrations of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that ruled the country for 16 unbroken years.

He also added that the ex-President, Obasanjo is not a member of the APC nor any other political party having torn his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) membership card publicly.

Mr Obasanjo was President between 1999 and 2007 on the platform of the PDP.

The former President had earlier in the year written an open letter to Mr Buhari asking him not to run for a second term because he had performed poorly.

However, the president ignored the advice as he announced at the APC National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja that he would seek reelection next year.

Mr Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State, said Mr Obasanjo did not have the right to tell the president not to run again.

He added that he was happy to be in the APC and not listening to those who advised him against associating with President Buhari.

He thanked Buhari for his tenacity and commitment to fight corruption in the country and for working hard to develop the country.

He also appreciated Vice President Yemi Osinbajo for being “a great fountain of knowledge” and for not undermining his (Vice President) leaders.

According to him, the President Buhari-led APC has adhered more to the tenets of internal democracy more than any government in the past.

This, he said, was showed at the party’s just concluded National Convention.

We thank you that you have offered yourself to re-contest the Presidency in 2019, you must run, and you will win, ” he said.

“We have changed leaders of our party: not at gun point, ask Audu Ogbeh. Thank God we have been able to stop looting and abuse of power,” Tinubu said.

The former Lagos State Governor thanked Gov. Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa, who is also the Chairman APC National Convention Planning Committee for the success recorded.

“Badaru, you have delivered, in spite of negative prediction that we will never see this day and that our party will fall apart,” he said.

Tinubu thanked the committee members for the show of dedication and commitment and for ensuring a successful national convention.

He also thanked Adams Oshiomhole, the new national chairman of the APC, saying that: “you are a true reflection of the saying that no matter how short a man is, he will see the sky.”

He assured that he would join other party leaders to support the NWC to enable it succeed on its mandate to move the party forward.

He admonished the new NWC members to work hard for the party because its members had put their trust in them and would not afford to fail.

He said, “In trust we put you; that trust you cannot abuse. We will be with you, support you and the day we need to fight you, we will fight.”

“The ‘pigs’ and their fortune tellers predicted the party will fall apart but I thank the (National Convention) committee for making the convention a success,” he said.

Viral video of Kizz Daniel and Seyi Shay cuddling and kissing

Seyi Shay and Kizz Daniel have been captured in a video cuddling and having fun on the set of the musical video for ‘I surrender’ off Seyi Shay’s ‘Electric Package’ EP.

Watch the video below:

Meanwhile the Management of G-Worldwide Entertainment had earlier on released a statement to inform the general public that the matter of G-Worldwide Entertainment Ltd v Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe before the Federal High Court, Lagos Division, is still ongoing contrary to the fake news being peddled by the artiste and his advisers to mislead the public.

Following several requests and inquiries by Nigerian and foreign online media and entertainment outfits about the status of the matter, it has become needful to notify the public of the current state of facts.

The suit at the Federal High Court last came up on 16th May 2018 whereupon our lawyers informed the Judge of a pending application for status quo to further restrain the rebellious acts of the artiste in view of the recent release of previously unreleased songs from the Evolution album, as well as the continued use of the name Kiss Daniel without our approval. The Judge emphatically told the Kiss’ lawyers to explore a settlement of the dispute as he does not believe the matter is one which should go to trial and that the lawyers should report on any settlement at the next adjourned date, 26th June 2018. We are unaware at the time of this release that the lawyers to Kiss have submitted any proposal with terms of settlement to our legal team.

It also interesting to inform the public that the Court was informed about the artiste’s release of the new song titled 4 Dayz, and For you a collaborated with WizKid , which are songs from the Evolution album, the ownership of which forms the subject matter of the suit at Federal High Court. We therefore need to let the public know that these releases demonstrate that the artiste is on a trip to put the credibility of other artistes whom he collaborates with in question.

We are also aware that the artiste has released the video of 4 Days, done a collaboration with Sheyi Shay titled Surrender, and another song Me ke with Omawunmi by changing his name from ‘’Kiss Daniel’’ to ‘‘Kizz Daniel’’. Let the whole world also take note that G-Worldwide is also the owner of the name ‘‘Kizz Daniel’’ (see acceptance and acknowledgement documents from the Ministry of Trade & Investment).

All digital platforms have been put on notice for take down of infringing materials where the name Kizz Daniel is in use, and we have responded to foreign and local media outfits on this issue following calls for clarification. We also wish to formally inform the public that the artiste’s use of the names Kiss Daniel and Kizz Daniel amount to breach of the company’s intellectual property rights. The company further advises the general public and other artistes to desist from engaging the artiste in respect of the names and contact the company’s management to confirm any information or proposal from the artist or his advisers which we believe are calculated to deceive.

We shall also not hesitate to take appropriate legal action to obtain judicial redress where necessary for such infringements.

Thank you.

How Ahmed Musa Proved Buhari to Be a Liar — By Reno Omokri

As written by Reno Omokri;

On April 18, 2018 at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in London, Nigeria’s President listened as other commonwealth leaders chose to promote their countries and people and when it got to his turn, President Muhammadu Buhari chose to describe Nigeria’s youth as a lazy and uneducated.

President Buhari said:

“We have a very young population, our population is estimated to be 196 million in 2018. This is a very conservative one. More than 60 percent of the population is below 30, a lot of them haven’t been to school and they are claiming that Nigeria is an oil producing country, therefore, they should sit and do nothing, and get housing, healthcare, education free”.

This would not be the first, second or even third time Muhammadu Buhari has disparaged Nigerians to the international community. On February 5, 2016, he told the Telegraph of the UK that the reputation Nigerians have for crime has made them unwelcome in the West.

In the case of the Lazy Nigerian youth statement, what was worse is that when given the opportunity to dial back from that statement, the Presidency released a statement the next day (April 19, 2018) explaining that what the President meant is that most, but not all, Nigerian youths were lazy.

Even if I tried to make it up, my fiction could not match the unprecedented cluelessness of President Buhari and his media team.

How can a President who cannot name one project that he initiated, started and completed in the last three call Nigeria’s youth who have accomplished many great things in the same period, lazy?

Since the President’s favourite pastime is to blame his ineptitude on his predecessors rather than take responsibility and lead from the front as he promised, I would like to single out one of such youths as a role model to President Buhari.

During the Nigeria versus Iceland World Cup game that took place on Friday April 22, 2018, Ahmed Musa brought more joy to Nigerians in 90 minutes than Buhari has brought to Nigeria in three years. He did not engage in Buhari’s pastime of blame game. Neither did he make excuses to justify failure. This young Nigerian youth just scored. And to prove it was not a fluke, he scored again.

I personally believe that Ahmed Musa would do a better job of governing Nigeria than the inept tyrant who called Nigerian youths like Ahmed Musa ‘lazy and uneducated’! (Almost anyone would do a better job of ruling than a man who still thinks that there is a country called West Germany).

And if all Ahmed Musa did was to prove to Buhari that Nigeria’s youth are not lazy, he would have done enough. But that was not all he proved. Not by a long shot!

President Buhari is notorious for being against any attempt to restructure Nigeria and prefers the status quo which has set Nigeria backwards and to borrow the words of Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu, made “the country look big for nothing before international circles”.

Ahmed Musa has proven President Buhari’s fears to be unfounded by establishing once and for all that talents abound in all parts of Nigeria and that no part of Nigeria will lose out if we restructure and replace ethnicity with merit. If not for this Northerner names Ahmed Musa, Nigeria would have had little hope in this #RussiaWorldCup2018. All Nigerians matter.

If there is anything President Buhari can learn from Ahmed Musa’s feat, it is that Nigerians want a leader that can deliver results, like Ahmed Musa, not one that delivers activity, like Muhammadu Buhari.

Nigerians need a leader with vision, one who gives hardworking youths opportunities instead of rewarding degenerate terrorists openings that should go to youths who can really contribute to Nigeria’s growth.

?Let me at this point go on record as saying that I am shocked at the alleged plans by the Buhari administration to recruit ‘repentant’ Boko Haram members into the police. Thank God the Christian Association of Nigeria has rejected the evil plan. How can terrorists police us?

Next, Buhari will recruit herdsmen in the army if he has not already done so! Must this government show its open bias in favour of one religion over the other? What is this madness? Will Donald Trump or Theresa May ask their respective police forces to recruit former jihadists or alqaeda members? All Nigerians must reject this devilish plan! ?

And while our youths like Ahmed Musa continue to advance the frontiers of Nigeria’s greatness, Buhari and his team persist in diminishing Nigeria by their unprecedented hypocrisy.

For instance, on Thursday June 21, 2018, Buhari while delivering the keynote address at the opening of the International Press Institute (IPI) World Congress at the Conference Centre of the Presidential Villa, asked journalists to halt fake news.

Really? Is this not the same Buhari who lied that there was no fuel subsidy and that Jonathan was deceiving Nigerians only for him to get into power and start paying double the subsidy Jonathan paid even after increasing fuel price?

At the same event, Buhari also appealed to journalists not to carry hate speech, yet his own spokeswoman calls the Christian Association of Nigeria a ‘CAN of worms’. How hypocritical can the President be? Aso Rock under Buhari has become the headquarters of hate speech and fake news in Nigeria.

The truth is that Buhari has proved to Nigeria’s youth that he should be in Daura spending his pension rather than being at Aso Rock directing their futures.

Before I end this piece though, permit me to say something about a Nigerian youth that is my inspiration and hero

?Four months ago, Leah Sheribu was abducted by Boko Haram, who continue to hold her captive because she refused to abandon her faith in Jesus. I wish feminists, like Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, could use their celebrity to focus the world’s attention on Leah. Leah may not be Hillary or chivalry, but she is worthy of heraldry

President Muhammadu Buhari appears to have forgotten all about Leah. He did not mention her in his Democracy Day speech that was riddled with lies. And when the Christian Association of Nigeria reminds the President of his duty to rescue Leah and prevent the killings of Nigerians by his herdsmen kinsmen, his spokeswoman Insulted them by calling CAN a CAN of worms. If you have read this, please can you stop what you are doing and just say a prayer for the safe return of Leah? ?

Catholic Priest suspended for rapping during church service, says he uses rap music to bring youths to the church

Catholic priest suspended

A Catholic Priest in Kenya identified as Father Paul Ogalo, has been suspended for rapping in church as a way of preaching the gospel.

The 45-year-old Catholic Priest who is one of the Parishioner’s favorite Priest, had been entertaining his parishioners with rap music, urging them to stop using drugs and to get involved in environmental and social justice issues.

“I use the rap music to bring … youths to the church. Thereafter, I bring them to Christ,” Fr Ogalo said during a recent interview.

Locals came to love his unique style of preaching the Gospel. “I’m very disappointed that he is suspended. I will now not go to church,” said Benard Oketch, 28.

Father Paul has been our mentor. He uses the language youths understand,” Oketch said. Through rap, the priest “has saved thousands of youths” from abusing drugs, he said.

It was gathered that after celebrating Mass, the Catholic Priest would change his priestly vestments for black shorts and a white shirt, tie a red bandana around his head, and begin rapping to the congregation.

“I use the rap music to bring youths to the church,” Ogalo said. “Thereafter, I bring them to Christ.”

Bishop Anyolo who spoke on Sunday, however stated that Fr Ogalo has not been barred from attending church services.

“It is true the church has taken a disciplinary measure against him. He is suspended because the use of rap music in preaching is not allowed.

“We have just stopped him from preaching using rap to accord him time to change his ways,” said Bishop Anyolo.

The priest’s suspension has, however, elicited sharp reaction on social media.  Mr Charles Mulama, a Facebook user, supported the church’s decision, saying rules should be obeyed.

“Catholic Church is known to be conservative in its doctrines. The priest was wrong in introducing rap in prayer services,” posted Mr Mulama.

Another Facebook user, Mr Otieno Otieno, said the church risks losing its young followers if it does not want to embrace change.

“The church should just allow Father Massa to use rap to bring more followers. The youth listen well through rap because normal preaching is boring,” he posted.

“Why I reported my neighbor to Police”- Cossy Orjiakor reveals

Cossy Orjiakor reveals

Cossy Orjikaor recently suffered assault in the hands of her neighbour whom she claimed always beat his wife and daughter.

On the day she suffered the assault, she stated she saw her neighbour beating his wife and child and while trying to intervene, the man assaulted her.

Giving an update of the incident to Sunday Scoop, she said:

“I have gone to the police station and from there, I went to the hospital to get my injuries treated.

“However, his wife and daughter, who also sustained injuries, haven’t been to the police station and the hospital.

“I reported a case of assault at the police station and some officers followed me to his house to arrest him but he hid. He will surely be brought to book.

“He has been doing it for a while. I decided to speak out this time because I was personally involved.

“I don’t care if their marriage breaks because I went public with the information.

“As a concerned neighbour, I can even provide the wife accommodation.

“This is no longer a case of domestic violence because he also assaulted me. I have been feeling pain all over my body, even the butt that I recently spent money on.”

Disputing the claim that the woman couldn’t leave simply because she was attracted to the man’s wealth, Ojiakor said:

“When they got married, they had nothing. The woman actually bought a property in her name and they now use it together.

“They actually worked together to get all the property they own now and I am not sure that he would release any to her.

“If she leaves him now, she will have to start her life from scratch and I think that is why she has been afraid to quit the marriage after giving 12 years of her life to him.

“In the Nigerian situation, it is the woman that usually suffers. I grew up in an abusive home because my father used to assault my mum; so, I know what it feels like. But he never touched us, the children.

That’s why I was enraged when this man hit his daughter. I know so much about them because I was a bridesmaid at their wedding. He only had a weather-beaten Benz in those days and the vehicle even refused to start on the day of their wedding. We are good neighbours and the man is actually nice but for his terrible habit of battering his wife.”

On her intention to remain single or a baby mother, Ojiakor said:

“A lot of men have proposed to me, and they had said I would have to stop posting pictures on social media or that I’d have to stop acting.

“Whenever I hear things like that, I run. My life is simple as a single lady; I can decide to clean my house or cook whenever I want to. However, when you marry, you basically turn to a slave.”

Explaining the kind of relationship she had with her dad, Cossy said:

“It was a love-hate relationship. I hated him for beating my mum and I loved him for being my dad. If there were channels for me to report him back then, I would have done that.”

Relationship expert Joro Olumofin says there won’t be side chics if women are truly supporting women

Relationship expert Joro Olumofin

Relationship expert Joro Olumofin has shared his thoughts on why men cheat and have extramarital affairs.

Read below:

Men are scum, Men are scum. This has become the mantra of a lot of ladies today. There is no lie that Most extramarital affairs are initiated by men. Yes , we’re allowed to blame men. Most men don’t know any better. Infact a lot weren’t raised to be monogamous in nature. But I’ve never heard the saying “ Men supporting men” or “men empowerment”. Women empowerment has become a movement and a thing of beauty to observe because of the inequalities in the society towards women. But if women were truly supporting other women , why do most women sleep with a married man knowing the damage it does to the wife (woman) . Is this women supporting women? We have a long way to go in women supporting women in Nigeria if a woman can’t say simple NO to give another woman peace of mind and happiness. If women are truly supporting women, there won’t be an Epidemic of Sidechicks.

Meanwhile, Diego Maradona has demanded to talk to Argentina’s crushed players in a bid to salvage their World Cup dreams. Lionel Messi and Co are staring a shock early exit in the face after the 1-1 draw with Iceland and shamobolic 3-0 defeat to Croatia.

Blazers striker Ante Rebic rubbed salt into a nation’s open wounds when he said he didn’t swap shirts with Messi because his country were so bad.

And manager Jorge Sampaoli is involved in a bitter war of words with striker Sergio Aguero.

Maradona was reduced to tears as he watched the thumping by Croatia.

And now he appears to have taken matters into his own hands by demanding to speak to the sorry stars.

He said: “I played with my life whenever I got the Argentine shirt. “Legends like Simeone, Redondo, Ruggeri, Canniggia, Filol, Luque and Gallego did exactly the same. “I want to be able to talk to the players and make them understand what it means to wear the national shirt.

”Argentina’s dire performance so far has hit the country hard.

Maradona has already jumped to the fore to defend Messi following his penalty miss against Iceland.

He said: “I missed five penalties in a row and I was still Diego Armando Maradona. “The game and the two points lost by the team are not down to his penalty. “He showed his face and gave everything he had to give. The ‘kid’ did his duty.

“Seeing him on the field, he was pretty p****d off. Just like I would have been. “It was all him, he always had to shrug two players off and when he did, there was no pass open.”

When a former Director of New Media for the Peoples Democratic Party, Deji Adeyanju, recently revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari gave some selected entertainers N2m each during a visit to Aso Rock in Abuja, it raised eyebrows.

Adeyanju had written on Twitter, “So, some youths went to Aso Rock yesterday to see Buhari and collected ‘thanks for coming’, N2m each. Very soon, they will start telling us why it is good for Buhari to continue…”

However, while speaking with Sunday Scoop, Temitope Adekunle, aka Small Doctor, said he didn’t collect such money from the President and he didn’t think any other entertainer did also. He said,

“I am not aware that the President gave anyone N2m. I was only invited to Aso Rock during the Ramadan period, which I honoured. Have you asked Sound Sultan or Kunle Afolayan and they said Buhari gave us N2m each. Well, I don’t know if they gave anyone but I didn’t collect such money.”

According to him, it was like a dream come true for him to dine with the number one citizen of Nigeria. He added,

“I have always worked hard and my hard work is paying off. I felt humbled and privileged meeting Mr. President. Looking at where I used to be, there has been a major turnaround in my life. Do you remember I was once a bus conductor?”

Mimi Orjiekwe says there is money in the Oil sector, claims acting can’t pay her bills

Mimi Orjiekwe says

Nollywood Actress, Mimi Orjiekwe while speaking with Sunday Scoop said she would have been a better person if she had worked in the oil and gas sector, rather than choosing acting as a career.

She said:

“I still have a lot to do as an actor and woman, though I am enjoying my life.

“If I had known better, I would have probably pursued a career in the oil and gas sector.

“I love acting but there is no money in it as much as in the oil sector.

“I have a lot of expenses; I have a baby, do charity, like to look good and have a family to support.

“For you to be able to do all these, you need to make a lot of money. Unfortunately, acting cannot give you much money.”

Admitting that the movie industry has become bigger, she insisted that she was not in competition with anyone.

She said:

“I am just myself. If you are successful today, I wish you the best but life is not all about competition. I only do things I love to do and it has helped me grow as an actress and individual.”

Unlike many actors who found it hard to convince their parents to let them venture into acting, the mother of one said she didn’t nurse such worry.

“When I wanted to get into acting, I didn’t have much trouble convincing my father.

“I am the only daughter and his favourite. My father also knew that I would always go for anything I wanted and not let acting affect my education.

“He was so proud of me when people starting telling him that they saw me acting on screen.

“I call my mother a hustler; I learnt how to be strong from her. Till now, I still learn a lot from her and she has always been there for me,” the actress added.

Pretty Mike says the lady that accused him of rape just wanted attention and he had a good laugh

Pretty Mike says

Socialite and nightclub owner, Mike Nwogu, popularly known as Pretty Mike, has finally reacted to a rape allegation made against him by a writer, Olutimehin Adegbeye, last month.

The writer had taken to Twitter to allege she was raped by Pretty Mike when she was just 16 year old, and also accused OAP Andre Blaze of doing same two years ago.

Pretty Mike has however revealed he couldn’t stop laughing when he saw the story.

He said:

“When I saw the story, which was sent to me by a friend, I laughed.

“Though I have ‘retired’, my friends and people who are close to me know ladies like me a lot.

“I think she is just a young lady looking for attention. I am a public figure; so, everyone knows where to find me.

“If you have issues with me, you can walk up to me. But to the best of my knowledge, none of such ever happened. People know I am not that kind of person.”

Speaking on why he kept mute upon reading the news, he stressed that everyone had different ways of handling scandals.

He said:

“I am not a stranger to scandals. But to me, all these things are not scandals; they are just part of life.

“If something doesn’t bother me, I just ignore it. Different people have sent me messages, making all sorts of accusations.

“I cannot address every issue because it means you are giving them attention.

“When you react to it, they get what they want. She (the accuser) has nothing to lose.

“If I make her a scapegoat, she will get the desired attention and the next person will want to be another scapegoat too.

“She should do whatever she wants to do; it is a free world.”

“I have apologized but she hasn’t responded” – Nkechi Blessing to Juliet Ibrahim

Nkechi Blessing & Juliet

Last week, Nollywood Actress Nkechi Blessing was involved in an altercation with Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim.

Juliet Ibrahim had accused her of “unprofessionally” ending a scene because she was slapped.

This led to a series of verbal attacks between the two actresses. However, Nkechi Blessing was quick to apologize to her colleague.

Speaking on the issue, she said:

“I have apologized but she hasn’t responded. I am happy with myself that I apologized; so, it doesn’t really matter whether she has responded or not.

“All the blogs that reported the fight between us also published my apology; I am sure she must have seen it. I am at peace with her and we don’t have any issues. What happened was a misunderstanding and I have moved on.”

“I have never met her before and when she made that comment, I felt she talked down on me as an actor and I didn’t find that funny.

“If she had said it in a more subtle way, I wouldn’t have reacted that way.

“She probably thought I was an up-and-coming actress who nobody knows and she wanted to trample on that fact.

“However, Nigerians showed that it wasn’t so. Truly, people have said that there is so much hate in Nollywood these days and that is what we are trying to eradicate.

“Toyin Abraham and Mercy Aigbe have made up. Other people, who are fighting, will soon make up; they will follow the footsteps of those who have made peace.

“We need more love than hate in the industry and we are working towards it.”

Meanwhile, Nkechi Blessing has refuted insinuation that only female actresses are the ones acquiring property in Nollywood.

Blessing, who recently bought a car, while speaking to Sunday Scoop, stated:

“It’s not true that female actors are the only ones buying cars and houses; Ijebu recently bought a Benz as well.

“Some actors are doing other things with their money; so, you never can tell.

“What if some of them even have these things but they don’t want to show off. I can only speak for myself, and no one else.

“Since I returned to Nigeria, I have been working nonstop. Since June 1, I have been on set every day.

“Even the two months that I spent in America were used to work. Nobody knows if I worked as a security person while there.”

Commenting on the slap that caused the fallout, she said, “Arole is a comedian so he doesn’t really know how we ‘roll’ in the movie industry.

It hadn’t gotten to the point where he was supposed to slap me so it was unexpected. It actually made me deaf for 30 minutes so I had every right to end the scene.

Speaking about her role in the Toyin Abraham/Mercy Aigbe skirmish, Blessing said, “I did not take sides with either of them. I appealed to both of them and that is why they settled.”
