Senator Dino Melaye has reacted to viral reports about a Monkey that was reported to have stolen N70 million from a Senator’s farm house.

Dino shared a picture of himself and Senator Shehu “strategizing” on how to arrest the monkey that stole the huge sum of money.

He wrote as caption of the above photo: “Sen Shehu and I strategizing on how to arrest theMonkey that stole our money”.

Nigerians have since reacted to the reports of Monkey swallowing the 70 Million. They lamented at the rate in which animals are gradually creeping into the national conversation with regards to funds… as this isn’t the first time an animal will cart away with a huge sum of money.

Recall, a snake was alleged to have swallowed N36 million from Jamb office.

An ‘insanely jealous’ boyfriend beat up his partner because he feared her ex had a bigger penis than him. Nathan Galvin, 29, attacked his girlfriend in her home in Kent for around 20 minutes after confronting her about the size of her former lover’s manhood last October.

The assault, which took place with his girlfriend’s two children in the house, ended when a neighbour came to help after hearing her pleas. Galvin, from Ramsgate, Kent, admitted two assaults and was jailed for three years at Canterbury Crown Court. Judge Rupert Lowe gave him a further four months in jail for contempt after he made a gun gesture towards his victim after he’d been sentenced.

He had become obsessed with penis size after going to a school reunion with his girlfriend and bumping into her ex. Galvin also demanded to know whether her former partner was better in bed before launching his attack, which involved him punching and throttling his victim.

She pleaded for him to stop telling him she ‘can’t breathe’ but he continued his assault and told her he would ‘kick her across the kitchen’ if she passed out.

The Federal Capital Territory Administration has said the death of three pupils of the Local Education Authority Primary School, Kubwa, Abuja, was caused by Cerebrospinal Meningitis.

It denied that the children died of food poisoning.

The Special Assistant to the FCT Minister on Media, Abubakar Sani, said the Director of Public Health, Dr Humphrey Okoronkwo, stated that the three pupils died of meningitis.

“The FCT Director of Public Health, Dr Humphrey Okoronkwo, says three pupils in Kubwa school died of suspected cases of Cerebrospinal Meningitis, not food poisoning,” Sani said in an SMS.

The pupils were said to have died on Tuesday after consuming biscuits shared by an unidentified classmate.

Two others, who partook of the biscuits, were hospitalised at the Kubwa General Hospital.

Academic activities in the school were suspended due to the confusion that trailed the death of the three pupils.

The parent and the girl suspected to have shared the biscuits, were reported to have been quizzed by the school authorities.

During a visit to the Kubwa General Hospital on Thursday, one of our correspondents observed relations of some sick pupils being attended to by hospital workers.

A hospital worker lamented the quick burial of the deceased pupils.

He said, “Why will they bury some children without ascertaining what killed them? It is not proper. The solution may be to have all the children immunised. How can anyone say they ate biscuits and died when there is no medical test to confirm this?”

The correspondent who got to the school at about 9.30am observed some teachers standing in groups to discuss the incident. Two police vans from the Kubwa division were stationed in the school.

A teacher said the girl who shared the said biscuits and her mother were questioned by the school authorities.

He said, “The girl and her mother have been invited. They met with the school authorities and they were not indicted in any way. The school is carrying out its own investigations. The pupils that were claimed to have died don’t even have their names in our register. We don’t believe the biscuit theory because a lot of people ate the biscuits.”

The FCTA Education Secretary, Tony Ogunleye, said, “Investigation is still ongoing. We will brief you properly when we are done.”

A 35-year-old man, Daniel Bidem has been sentenced to three months in prison for stealing his girlfriend’s phone valued at N47,000.

The man was sentenced at A Karmo Grade 1 Area Court, Abuja, on Thursday.

Bidem, of Garki II, Abuja, was arraigned on one count of stealing.

The convict was sentenced after he pleaded guilty to the offence and begged for leniency.

The Judge, Mr. Abubakar Sadiq, however, gave him an option of N20,000 fine. Sadiq ordered Bidem to pay N40,000 as compensation to the complainant and warned him to desist from committing crime.

Earlier, the Prosecutor, Mr. Dalhatu Zannah, had told the court that one Mibiola Olajumoke of No 13, Matadi Street, Wuse Zone 3, Abuja, reported the matter at Utako Police Station on February 19.

Zannah told the court that On February 16 at about 2:30p.m, Bidem, who was a boyfriend to the complainant, took her to a hotel at Wuse II to buy her food.

“Bidem dishonestly and smartly stole the complainant’s Techno CX phone worth N47,000,” the prosecutor said.

He said the convict sold the phone to an unknown person in Wuse market at the rate of N10,000.

The prosecutor told the court that all efforts to recover the stolen cell phone failed.

He said that during police investigation, Bidem confessed to have sold the phone for N10,000. But he could not t reveal the identity of the buyer as he only met him at the market on the day he went to sell the phone

According to Zannah, the offence contravened Section 288 of the Penal Code.

In a similar occurrence that was reported on Facebook earlier today, a man was said to have sliced hi wife’s phone into two parts as she could not revealed her password to him.

The woman who thought he was joking got the shock of her life when her husband took a cutlass and cut the phone.

Pastor Tunde Bakare of the Latter Rain Assembly has hit out at the practice of tithing that requires Christians to give 10% of their earnings to the church despite the fact that It is estimated that 80% of Nigerians live on less than $2 (£1.40) a day.

He said this while speaking on BBC Yoruba service, adding that it should not be compulsory ‘tithing is not compulsory. No-one should feel compelled to pay – no-one is holding a gun to their head” .

He continued to say, ‘Churches where pastors are becoming fat and the members are growing lean, God will judge them’.

One person has been killed with several others wounded on Tuesday following a bloody attack on Ikorodu Campus of the Lagos State Polytechnic, LASPOTECH, by suspected cultists.

The News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, reports that the deceased, identified as Ahmed Amao, was a former LASPOTECH student who had been expelled from the institution.

NAN gathered that the group of hoodlums invaded the Ikorodu campus from different directions on Tuesday evening, chasing students around the polytechnic with guns, machettes and knives.

LASPOTECH spokesman, Olanrewaju Kuye, told NAN that the terrified students alerted the institution’s security personnel on sighting the hoodlums, comprising some former students of the polytechnic.

“So, we had to chase them out the campus via the polytechnic’s first gate; but when we got there, we discovered another set (hoodlums) approaching from the adjourning village to attack our students.

“Upon sighting our security men the gang began to shoot at will and our security men had no choice but to retaliate.

“Unfortunately, we hit one of the hoodlums, Ahmed Amao, a former student who had been expelled for examination malpractice. We learnt he died on Wednesday,’’ Kuye said.

He added that but for the prompt response of the institution’s security personnel, many students could have lost their lives in the attack.

Kuye assured parents of the safety of their wards following the attack on the campus by suspected cultists, saying “this will never be allowed to happen again.

“They should go on with their normal duties because nothing untoward will happen to them.

“Our security men now wield firearms too and our students have our phone numbers for prompt response. We will not take chances,’’ said the LASPOTECH spokesman.

Confirming the incident, Chike Oti, Spokesman, Lagos State Police Command, said the attackers were on revenge mission following an attack on one of their members.

Oti said two suspects were arrested with a locally made pistol following the incident.

There was heavy presence of gun-wielding security personnel comprising the police, Oyabo (local vigilante) and private guards when NAN correspondent visited LASPOTECH Ikorodu Campus on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, calm is gradually returning to the institution as students and other members of the polytechnic community were seen going about their normal activities on Wednesday.

A second year student of Cape Coast Technical Institute in Ghana has severely been caned by a teacher for leaving his hair bushy, according to media reports.

The incident which took place on Tuesday 20th February, 2018 in the school premises left bruises all over the back and arms of the student.

Many Nigerian and African women see all westerners as very wealthy people who can change their lives, hence a man has revealed his escapades with hundreds of women.

While speaking to an online news site, Africa24, a 40-year-old French tourist, Jean Michel, admitted that he impregnated more than 600 women in six African countries including Nigeria, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Togo, Ghana and Guinea, within two years.

His confession has been translated from French to English by Simon Ateba in Washington, District of Columbia and it reads:

“Good morning Africa 24, I have a confession to make about the havoc I have wreaked in six African countries, including Cameroon, Togo, Cote D’Ivoire, Nigeria, Ghana and Guinea. I am not proud of what I have done. These were unfortunate experiences.

“In France where I hail from, I did not have money. I was very poor until one day I played and won lottery. I won 550 thousand euros. It was the largest sum of money I had received in life.

“I did not know what to do, and a friend suggested we travel to Africa. We obtained all the documents, entry visa, and the rest, and our first stop was Ivory Coast.

“In Abidjan (the capital of Ivory Coast), we rented a furnished apartment. We had money to spend and met Ivorian people and we became friends. They introduced young Ivorian girls to us, and that’s when it all started.

“I began having sex with girls every day. Sometimes, I would sleep with three girls at the same time. It was a marvelous experience.

“I worried less about my health. All I wanted was to have fun. My friends and I were in a night club in the town every day looking for girls.

“One time, I met a girl and gave her money, and she told me to be engaged to her. She was ready to get pregnant for me. I don’t know whether it was the money they liked or the fact that I was from France that attracted them.

“I spent three months in Ivory Coast, spent 60, 000 euros and slept with more than 80 girls. After leaving Ivory Coast, I went to Togo where I slept with over 100 girls and spent 40, 000 euros.

“I spent three months in Togo and went to Nigeria. Nigeria was where I got more girls. I did not speak English, and it seems Nigerian girls love foreigners.

“I rented a furnished apartment in Nigeria and I was in Lagos for six months. I spent 100,000 euros and slept with 230 girls. Nigeria was the place I appreciated the most. Girls were always available and easy to deceive.

“From Nigeria, I went to Ghana, and then Cameroon and ended what I describe as my sex tour in Guinea. I was in those three countries for more than a year and spent over 200, 000 euros. If I told you I slept with more than 700 girls in those three countries, you won’t believe me, but it was unbelievable!

“In all, I slept with more than 1,400 girls in six different African countries. I have all their pictures in my photo album, including the dates we met, their names and phone numbers. I opened a Facebook account only for them.

“Since I returned to France, I have had more than 600 of them who told me they got pregnant for me. Some committed abortion, and I do not know exactly how many finally gave birth.

“Africa is a marvelous continent. Girls are beautiful and very sexy. All they want is a man who has money, and the worst is when he’s white.

“I realised that they love having mixed race babies. I do not know why, but many would do anything to get pregnant for you. 100 euros is plenty of money in Africa.

“To summarise, I went on a sex tour in Africa, I slept with 1,400 girls in two years and more than 600 got pregnant.

“I know many of you would judge me, but I do not care about your insults. I know that what I did is not good, but I enjoyed my stay in Africa, and I am planning another trip to Senegal, Mali, Gabon, Benin, Niger and Democratic Republic of Congo.

“The day after I returned to France, I went to the hospital for medical exams, and luckily, I was HIV negative, and I did not have any other infectious disease.

“My friend was also negative and we are planning another trip. I did not go to secondary school, so disregard my grammatical errors. Thank you for reading my story”

Africa’s Richest woman, Folorunsho Alakija has shared details about her life, not so many people know of.. and according to her, she was able to achieve greatness in life without a University degree.

Folorunso Alakija took to Instagram to share this piece and she also opened up that she is the 8th child in her family of about 52 children.

She wrote:

“I would like to encourage you on my encounter with the Glory of God.

It happened almost 27 years ago when I gave my life to Christ at the age of 40 and my life has not been the same ever since, I pray your life too, will experience a total turn around.

I was born almost 67 years ago, into a large and illustrious polygamous Muslim family as number 8 out of 52 children through a father who had 8 wives.
