#BBNaija: “I was raped by someone in the Entertainment Industry” – Ifu Ennada

Evicted Big brother Naija housemate, Ifu Ennada, moments ago, took to her social media page to share with her followers how she was raped by someone in the entertainment industry in 2016.

According to her, this said rapist gave her sexually transmitted infections which led to her being depressed and all.

She says she’s telling her story using a movie as a medium.

She wrote:

My Virginity Story; Rape & Depression

When I was in the Big Brother House emotions were raised when during a Truth or Dare game I said I’d not really had sex.

People interpreted that as me claiming to be a Virgin.

The truth is in 2016 I was raped by someone in the entertainment industry, before then I was a Virgin. This person also infected me with an STI…

I was also threatened by this person and was very scared of social media’s bashing with the usual questions of “what was she wearing!” ” why did she go to his house ?”…

So in all my sadness and depression I decided to tell the world what had happened to me using film as a medium.

She continued,

I was inspired to write and produce my film – Tears of A Broken Virgin.

I got a lot of help from social media – people volunteered to work for me free of charge even my director – Benny Atagame Alli

Though some parts of my film is fiction, the bulk of it was inspired by my story.

The lead character’s name is Ada which is a short form of my name Adanne- popularly pronounced as Ennada.

Because of my sad experience I battled depression, developed trust issues and found it hard to connect with people especially men.

I wanted to tell my story and also pass a strong message to rape victims and rapists…I hope I was able to do that with my film.

I intend to expand this into a feature length film. I hope everyone out there is inspired to stand up against rape.

Strange disease kills 8 Katsina students

An outbreak of a strange disease at Government Science Secondary School, Kurfi has reportedly killed about 8 students.

According to a Daily Trust reporter, the authorities of the boarding school closed down the school over the weekend and sent students back home.

The closure however did not go down well with the state Assembly.

They argued that closing and sending students home will further aggravate the situation.

To this end, the assembly has directed it’s committee on Education and Health to thoroughly investigate the matter.

They are to report back as soon as possible.

Kabir Lawal representing Kurfi constituency, drew the attention of the house to the outbreak and deaths at the house sitting today.

Two other members Garba Hussaini and Bishir Mamman from Kafur and Dutsin-ma said similar issues were recorded at the constituencies.

Mark Zuckerberg loses $5billion after Facebook shares drops

Mark Zuckeberg, CEO of Facebook’s net worth has plunged at about $5 billion after his company shares slumped.

This is as a result of the Cambridge Analytica scandal in which data of 50 million users was reportedly misused.

The company’s stock plummeted nearly 7 percent on Monday putting Facebook on track for their worst day in four years, Daily Mail reports.

Zuckerberg, who is currently the seventh richest person in the world, holds roughly 400 million shares, or 16 percent, in Facebook.

Following the drop, Zuckerberg is now worth an estimated $69.5 billion, according to Forbes.

His company is facing mounting calls to testify after reports emerged that the firm, which has links to President Donald Trump’s campaign, gained inappropriate access to data on 50 million Facebook users.

The reports have prompted a review by the company and expressions of concern by several US lawmakers who are demanding that Zuckerberg be grilled by the Senate Judiciary Committee.

The losses in shares on Monday would be among Facebook’s biggest daily fall, including a broader market pullback in February.

In January, when Facebook announced changes to its newsfeed, which it said would hit user engagement in the near term, shares fell 4.5 percent in one day.

Facebook announced on Monday that it had hired a digital forensics firm to investigate the handling of data leaked to a consulting firm.

Alleged husband killer, Maryam Sanda, asks court to dismiss murder charge

Maryam Sanda, who allegedly killed her husband, Billyaminu Bello, yesterday asked an Abuja High Court, where she is being prosecuted by the police, to dismiss the charge filed against her.

Billyaminu, the son of a former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman, Mr. Haliru Bello, was allegedly murdered by his wife on November 19, 2017.

Others facing trial alongside Maryam are her mother, Maimuna Aliyu, her brother, Aliyu Sanda, and her housemaid, Sadiya Aminu.

The other three were also accused of conspiracy in aiding Maryam in carrying out the alleged murder of Bilyaminu.

The prosecution counsel, James Idachaba, however, opposed the application for dismissal of the charge.

Arguing the application for dismissal, defence counsel, J. B. Daudu SAN, submitted that the prosecution did not follow the right process before filling the charge.

He further argued that the matter should have been transmitted to the Attorney General immediately the police finished their investigation.

In addition, Daudu submitted that the police do not have the power to prosecute such murder case and that the power was only vested with the Attorney General of the Federation.

Daudu also submitted that there is an application in reference to that and urged the court to dismiss the entire charge against the defendants.

The lawyer cited Sections 359(1)(2) and 376 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA).

He said: “The originating process is defective; the prosecution did not follow the normal procedure before it filed the matter, the prosecution has denied the intervention of the Attorney-General in this matter.

“There are steps that ought to be taken before the prosecution could institute the charge in the court, which is not done.”

Opposing the application, Idachaba urged the court to disregard and dismiss the application.

He said: “We are in total opposition of the application to dismiss the charge against the defendants, we have filed a 22-paragraph affidavit, the application by the defence counsel to dismiss the charge against the defendants should be dismantled.

“The submission that the charge against the defendants is incompetent is totally misconceived.

The defence counsel had done so many things since the beginning of the case to displease that position of his prayer.

Plea had already been taken, we urged the court to dismiss that relief and refuse the grant of the prayers.”

Meanwhile, trial could not proceed yesterday due to the absence of prosecution witness.

The trial judge, Justice Yusuf Halilu, later adjourned till April 19 and 20 for continuation of trial.

Earlier, Idachaba had told the court that the prosecution came to the court with two witnesses.

Finally, he later told the court that he could no longer see the witness he wanted to start with.

“Those who voted Buhari in 2015 should ask God for forgiveness” — Governor Fayose

Governor Ayodele Fayose, a very strong critic of the Buhari administration, has said that those who voted President Buhari in 2015, should ask God for forgiveness.

The Governor said this when he spoke to representatives of teachers, local government workers and private sector operators.

They had paid him a courtesy visit in the state house in Ado-Ekiti, under the Oshoko Mass Movement(OMM), a political group.

“Those who voted Muhammadu Buhari as the president of our country must seek for forgiveness. His leadership has brought unimaginable hardship and misery on the people. The killing is too much and if he continues in office the hardship will be intolerable. They said he would come and make the difference and make things better but the reverse is the case. Unemployment is second to none and he has killed the economy and made the people poorer. The level of nepotism is also unprecedented. Even their so-called fight against corruption is laced with favouritism and is one-sided,” he said

Furthermore, Fayose during his speech lamblasted the former governor of the state now Minister of Mines and Steel, Kayode Fayemi, for allegedly not using his office for the benefit of the state.

“There are natural deposits across Ekiti, President Muhammadu Buhari spent N40 billion searching for crude oil in the north, what is Fayemi doing to unearth the minerals that abound here?” he asked

Fayose also thanked Ekiti teachers and parents for making it possible for the state to take a big leap in the secondary education sector.

Finally , he applauded them for endorsing his deputy, Kolapo Olusola, as his successor.

#BBNaija: Watch Moment Nina and Cee-C nearly came to blows in the House

Big Brother Naija Housemates, Cee-C and Nina got into a heated argument yesterday, and they nearly came to blows.

Watch the videos below:

VIDEO 1 BELOW:

VIDEO 2 BELOW:

Did you watch day 50 of the Big Brother Naija 3 reality show?

If you missed it, we’ve got the highlights for you!

Good and Bad all Around

After defying Big Brother and conspiring in the House, Tobi was issued with his second strike in the game, which means one more wrong move will see him being disqualified in the game.

He now joins Lolu and Cee-C who each have already been issued with two strikes each. Also, Anto’s journey came to an end as she was voted out with the least number of votes. Not all doom as sad as all evictions are they have to be done because at the end of the day, it’s a competition and eventually there has to be one winner.

With that said, yesterday wasn’t all about bad news for the Housemates. For Tobi it was a bit of both as he and Rico Swavey emerged as the winners of the Nokia task.

As if that was not enough, Biggie also announced that the Housemates have won their Wager, something that hasn’t happened often with these Housemates.

At the end of the day it was all smiles when their PayPorte goodies were carted away.

Without You

Lolu and Anto shared a special bond, they were like partners in crime who were known and feared for their formidable mind power and highly cerebral perspectives. This morning, Lolu admitted that his bed suddenly felt too big.

Chit and Chat

After the workout and the breakfast, Lolu and BamBam sat at the dining table for what turned out to be an intriguing conversation.  Lolu said that he felt he and BamBam understood each other even though they had rarely spoken. He added that their peers always expected a reaction from them, and tended to feel that both BamBam and he were fake by their ‘water knows no enemy’ attitude.

Keep Talking

In an unusually candid mood, BamBam said that she felt like an ATM machine, always expected to give back what she gets, while she didn’t feel that she needed to reach all of the time to every single jab, joke or juice. Patiently listening and deeply analyzing her, Lolu nodded in agreement for he also shared the same trait. BamBam believed that people should just mind their own business and not meddle into others’ lives. For BamBam, the only Housemates she owed an allegiance to were Teddy A and Rico Swavey, and she said she didn’t care what others thought of her.

You’ve Got My Ear

However BamBam added that she had to confront Alex about her comments made during the previous day live Eviction show. Lolu then advised her to come out of her shell, and show more of herself as much as she may want to use the ATM analogy. BamBam appeared to take great comfort in Lolu’s words and admitted she hadn’t come with a strategy and was only taking in a day at a time. Lolu cheered her up that he never thought she was fake but felt she could have acted differently in certain situations.

Did Lolu strategically sweet-talked BamBam so that she wouldn’t Nominate him or was he sincere during their chat?

The Second Time Around

It seem as if Biggie’s challenges increase in quirkiness as the weeks go by.

Oh Biggie!

Today Biggie asked Housemates to fit stockings on their heads and walk in line to knock the water bottles on their path. However the trick was that Biggie’s Ninjas had added a tennis ball in the stocking that Housemates had to enter in a white cup at the end of their bottle line.  Upon learning about this twist, Tobi, Lolu and their peers all burst into laughter and Nina was still giggling by the time they all took their position behind the lines, all ready to compete.

Fast and Focused

On the sound of the buzzer, with hands in the back, Housemates stumbled around as they strove to advance as fast and focused as possible. Yet chuckling could still be heard as the Challenge appeared more puzzling than anticipated. Although all had started at the same time, it is Miracle whose cup was filled first. He lit up to be acknowledged again and when Biggie asked him to choose a Housemate to share the luxury bedroom didn’t hesitate to name Nina.

Spicy Fake Nominations

Tonight Biggie put on a good show for the Housemates. The Fake Nominations went off without a hitch and there was no letting on that things have been turned on its head.

Racked up

Technically, tonight’s Nominations may not count for Eviction but they were certainly still very interesting. BamBam racked up five Nominations which means that she was the Housemate with the most Nominations. Rico Swavey got three Nominations bringing him in as the second highest Nominated in the House. BamBam has clearly been getting under many of the Housemates skins, either that or they see her as a major threat.

The Juice

There were some other juicy insights that occurred during tonight’s fake Nomination session. Lolu nominated his onetime strategic partner Cee-C, Teddy A and Tobi obviously see each other as a threat as they Nominated each other. Cee-C also straight up Nominated BamBam which is obviously something that has been simmering since her frustrations with the Nokia Task.

Coming Clean

It could have been the fact that Miracle won HoH or purely that they do not see her as a threat but Nina was the only Housemate that was not Nominated by anyone. The squeaky clean Housemate manage to evade Nomination completely but chose to Nominate BamBam and Rico, this was a completely different choice to that of her in-House lover and resident HoH Miracle who chose Cee-C and Lolu.

All of this is nothing but a ruse to allude the Housemates to the fact that not only will there be no Evictions on Sunday but there will be two of the Evicted Housemates coming back into the House– What a way to spice things up!

The Lumapil Task

Tonight has been an eventful one for the Housemates, first they Wagered 75%, then went straight into the Fake Nominations, followed by the Lumapil Forte Task.

Team Dynamics

After being separated into three teams, the Housemates were required to formulate presentations about Malaria and the major effect it has throughout Africa. Team A consisted of Tobi, Lolu and BamBam. Team B was Rico, Alex and HoH Miracle and Team C saw Teddy A, Nina and Cee-C. This presented an interesting dynamic, especially after the fake Nominations where a lot of true feelings came out.

Different Strokes

There was a definitive difference in each of the presentations, it was clear that Team A lacked a bit of chemistry as their presentation was extremely formal and stiff. Team B showed a lot more flair with Rico being his usual funny self and Alex beaming with positivity at the podium. Finally Team C brought a healthy dose of drama with Teddy A playing a doctor and Cee-C and Nina performing a medical re-enactment. They poked fun at Miracle and Nina’s relationship in the House and even though they got a few facts wrong, it was still a good laugh.

Setting the Tone

The Housemates are fully in the game now and have learned that they need to make the most of their Tasks not only because they can win big but also because they cannot mess with Biggie. After Tobi got two Strikes yesterday and Anto’s Eviction was fresh in their mind, all the Housemates know now that they need to play the game with everything they’ve got. This was evident in their effort tonight and the last few Tasks before this. It will be interesting to see how the dynamic shifts when two of the Evicted Housemates will return to the House.

Recall Juliet yesterday reacted to the 8.41 percent vote Teddy got, after the eviction show on Sunday.

Teddy A got a total of 8.41 per cent votes, while Miracle got a total of 27.98 per cent, more than three times Teddy A’s.

However, Juliet Ibrahim says there seems to be a manipulation of the votes.

On Instagram, she wrote, “Yes,Teddy A votes seems fishy,

“Most people were splitting votes that should not be the case, it is a game. We need to be for one person only until he’s evicted this is not good for us.

“We are one and we can make this happen nexttyime.

“Please no more splitting votes.”

Nigerian International drug kingpin arrested in India

The Bangalore unit of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested a 41-year-old Nigerian national.

He is believed to be the head of the supply chain of illegal drugs in India.

The accused, John Somadina aka was arrested last week on the basis of a tip off from the Ahmedabad bureau.

He has been handed over the Ahmedabad NCB.

It was also gathered that Somadina, was a pan-India supplier of illegal drugs such as cocaine, heroin, amphetamine, etc.

He coordinated with the drug cartel that was involved in smuggling illegal drugs from South America and Africa into the country.

The modus operandi of the criminal was to illegally bring Illegal drugs into the country and then to the smaller cities such as Ahmedabad, Baroda, etc.

His carriers will then supply the illegal drugs in small quantities to bigger cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Bangalore, among others.

“Most of the people who act as carriers in this crime are citizens of Nigeria, Kenya, Venezuela, Vietnam, Columbia and Brazil.

And they are mostly drug addicts themselves.”

They also appointed several people from the North East as carriers. At least 12 of the carriers were apprehended by the NCB from different cities.

The carriers would work for them for free supply of drugs,” shared Hari Om Gandhi, Zonal Director, NCB.

Furthermore, investigation revealed that Somadina was involved in at least 12 cases of illegal drug supply and smuggling.

Investigators said he was also in touch with the international drug cartels in South America, which made it easier to smuggle illegal drugs into the country with the help of carriers.

In conclusion, it was also suspected that he was running a country-wide racket in 2014.

The Ahmedabad NCB has been granted three-day judicial custody of the accused.

Nigerian couple return to Nigeria from Libya, 6 years after they left Nigeria

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Jr. returned back to Nigeria 6 years after they left for Libya for greener pastures.

The couple were among the returning migrants who recently arrived from Libya last week, under the EUTF-IOM joint initiative for migrant protection and reintegration in Nigeria.

The husband, hails from Enugu in the South East of Nigeria, while his wife is a native of Abuja in the Northern part of the country. They both met while he was drilling a borehole in her town.

Alfred, apparently shortly after drilled his way into her heart and fondly calls her ‘’Obim’’. The couple who had their 2 kids in Libya, left Nigeria in 2012, shortly after their marriage. However life in Libya was not as rosy as he imagined. The reality hit him when he realized he couldn’t make a decent living.

‘I didn’t know it was bad. We couldn’t make a living. Literally, we starved. I couldn’t put food on the table. I knew it was really bad when I heard about some Libyans selling people off like goats”

He started yearning for home. Then, he heard about IOM and their assistance to Nigerians through the Nigerian foreign ministry, who want to return home. He jumped at the opportunity. Now that he is back to Nigeria, he plans to get back to his old business and make something out of it. He advises other Nigerians

“Stay home and do what is best. Make a living here. If you don’t have what it takes to travel properly, it’s not worth it.”

Omotola Ekeinde’s husband reveals how he fell in love at 26

Omotola Ekeinde’s husband, Captain Mathew Ekeinde is one of Nigeria’s most senior and respected pilots.

People who have met him are often surprised to find he is a man who has no airs around him, despite his accomplishments as one of Nigeria’s most popular and successful pilot.

He has been married to Omotola for 22 years and the marriage is blessed with four wonderful kids.

How has marriage been with a celebrity like Omotola?

What are the challenges and issues he has had to contend with?

How did they meet 24 years ago?

These and several other questions were answered in the interview below:

Excerpts from the Interview culled from City People by Senior Editor, WALE LAWAL:

Let’s start by congratulating you on that spectacular birthday celebration you put together for your wife, how did you feel with the way everything turned out, seeing your wife being celebrated that way?

It was an honour. It was a very humbling experience to find the caliber of the Esama of Benin and his chiefs, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Tony Elumelu, and a lot of people from the music and movie industry, as well as captains of industries, turning up to come celebrate my wife.

Yeah, I was quite impressed and happy, it just shows me that truly, a lot of people do love her and that’s why they all came out.

Everyone saw on the night how happy you were for your wife. How much pressure was it for you supporting her during the preparations leading to the 5-day celebration of her birthday?

Three weeks to the day, she had been planning the whole event with her team.

All through that time, her activities in the house was zero, so I got to do all the shopping, I got to do the cooking, the cleaning, and a whole lot of things that she would’ve done.

But I had to help her out to enable concentrate fully on her preparations.

Her routine then was to wake up in the morning, take her bath, then her team comes about 9 o’clock and they stay in the office.

Sometimes, they would go out to the various event venues and may not return until about eleven in the night.

So, I was just there the whole three weeks ensuring I give her whatever support she needed, both financial and moral support.

Tell us, how has it been for you being married to a super star of your wife’s status?

You know, I believe our getting married is God’s doing. I say this because I think it really takes one who is understanding to be able to get married to someone like Omotola.

For me, yes, sometimes, the pressure gets to me, especially when she’s in demand by a lot of people for different reasons.

Personally, for me, it’s not a big deal, I just see it as part of life and I advice her the best way I can.

And thankfully, she’s a very focused person who’s always determined to achieve whatever she wants to achieve without getting distracted by people, either by money or whatever, and money has never been the issue.

So, people of wealth and status offering her money for one reason or the other has never made her lose her focus in life.

Yes, definitely, the pressures are there, pressures of fans, pressures of the fact that we can’t really go out and do what we want to do like regular families.

Anytime we step out of our gates, it’s all eyes on us. And that’s why we really cannot go out in public that much.

For instance, we can’t go watch the movies like everyone else. To go watch a movie, we have to call the owners or the managers of the movie house.

We usually go to Silver bird because we’re used to Guy Bruce, so we’ll call and they’ll arrange a back door for us and put security for there for us.

So, sometimes it’s stressful, but I’ve gotten used to it, on the 23rd of this month (March) we’re going to mark our 22nd wedding anniversary and I’ll be turning 50 years old that same day.

Do you guys plan to celebrate that? It’s definitely worth celebrating..

You know, after the Omotola4point0 celebrations, I think we’ve done enough celebration for the next 10 years because I know what it really took out of us.

It was physically draining and financially as well. Thank God for all her sponsors who came to support her brand.

For me, I’m not one that wants to be out there in the public, mine is going to be very quiet.

I don’t know what I’m going to do yet, I’ll probably be on duty that day.

But most likely I’ll ask to take the day off, just sit down with her, we might travel out, I don’t know yet. Really, I’ve not made any plans.

Can you recall for us the very first time you set your eyes on your wife?

Yes, the very first time was in church. I have this sister who’s 51 years old, just a year older than me, she lives in Europe now, her name’s Theresa.

Over the years, I’ve been telling her, look, organize your friends, I want to marry.

Go and find me one of your friends that I can get married to. So, she had met Omotola in a church in Iyana- Ipaja called Solid Rock headed by Pastor Tessy.

My sister was attending the church at the time. It was a small but nice, youthful church.

My sister now came home one day and said, yes, you have been disturbing me all this while to get you a wife, I just found somebody.

Come to the church next service (it was a mid-week service) and I’ll introduce her to you.

So, on my way from work that Wednesday, I drove down to the church, went inside and sat at the back.

I signaled to my sister to let her know I was in the church. So, after service, she now introduced me to Omotola.

I looked at her and I was like, hey, cute, fine, small girl!

But when I found out then that she was just sixteen years old, I was surprised. She looked a lot older than her age. I was like, ‘Kai! This one is a misfire!’ I was like almost twenty six then.

So, I said, okay, we’ll just be friends. And that was how we were friends for like two years and by the time she turned eighteen, I just saw her differently because all the while, I just saw her as a cute, fine young girl that was a friend of the family.

That was it, there was nothing more than that. It was at her 18th birthday that things took a different turn.

She had told me to get her a birthday gift, it was like a week to her birthday then and I wasn’t in the country, I was based in the United States then, and was only coming down to Nigeria once in a while.

A week after her birthday, I returned to Nigeria and got her a gift and left her a message to come to the house. I remember that day very clearly.

The house where I was staying had a sliding glass door and you had to move the glass door to come in.

And when she slid the door and came in, it was like the scales just fell off my eyes.

I now saw her differently from the way I used to see her. This time, I saw her as a wife material.

So, immediately she walked in, I said happy birthday, sorry I’m just giving you your gift one week after, but I also want to tell you, I want to marry you!

She just hissed and said, ‘abeegi! That’s what you guys say.’ Of course, within those two years that I knew her, I also knew her mum and the family.

So, when she left, on my own, I went to see the mum and told her that I was going to marry Omotola.

She was like, okay, fine, but why don’t you let her finish her university. Then, she just got admission to the University of Ife.

I was like, well, to wait four years won’t be easy for me because it’s very risky.

It’s either guys would give her a hard time in that Ife or put her under pressure and she’ll probably give in.

No, I wasn’t willing to risk that. She’s still a virgin now and I want to marry her a virgin, so that’s it. I told her I couldn’t wait for four years and she said, fine, you have to go and see the family.

I went to see them and told them my intentions and the rest is history.

You wife practically became a star right in your hands, under your watch. How has it been for you, seeing someone you known since her youth, transforming into the accomplished woman she is today?

I’ve always believed, and I think it’s my background as well, my parents have always encouraged us to be who we want to be.

They will do their best humanly possible to support us and I grew up with that upbringing.

So, when I got married to her and I knew she wanted to act, for me, it wasn’t a problem.

As long as you conduct yourself properly and respectfully, I’ll give you all the support.

And that was exactly what I did. I gave her all the support she needed, I was there for her and I advised her accordingly.

Whenever she wanted to go from one level to the other, I was always there giving her all the support.

I think that was what encouraged her to go all the way.

Was she already acting when you met her?

No, she just started. Her first movie, I think, was Venom of Justice, and I was there with her on location. Most of her early movies, I joined her on set.

Those days I had a lot of free time on my hands because we weren’t flying as much as we do these days. I would go on set with her, I would sit with her.

And when we had the baby, I would help her carry the baby, so, yeah, it was fun back then, it was really fun.

How also did you get to deal with picking up the papers and reading negative stuffs about your wife, especially in those early stages of her career?

Look, she’s my wife and I know my wife. She doesn’t live a double life, she’s very open. She’s also very straight forward. There’s nothing that she’s doing that she doesn’t tell me.

When I see stories like that, I just ignore them. I mean, they were very few and far between, she’s really done well and has been able to have a scandal free career.

When people try to come up with stories just to rock the marriage, they misfire because they don’t know that we’re a lot stronger than that.

I remember one story that was published one time, I can’t remember the name of the magazine.

It said Omotola’s husband has a baby by a white woman, and I’m thinking, where did all these come from?

So, when you see such stories it just becomes obvious that these guys just sit down and ask, how do we sell our papers this week, and they come up with stories that they believe will make people buy their publication. Really, it wasn’t an issue for us.

How about when she’s playing romantic scenes and stuffs like that, how do you cope with watching your beautiful wife wrapped up in the arms of another man?

Honestly, I’ve never had any problems with it. The thing is, before she takes up a romantic role, of course she gets the script first and we discuss it.

She tells me, this is what they want me to do. They want this guy to hug me or kiss me on the lips, is that okay with you?

And I’ll say, yes, that’s not a problem, as long as it doesn’t go any further than that, like him trying to remove your dress or rubbing his hands all over your boobs or your bum and all that.

There were some movies that directors wanted her to do stuffs like that and she just tells them, no, it’s not going to happen.

In fact, I was on set with her one particular occasion and there was this popular actor who was supposed to carry her in a romantic scene to the bed, hug her, give her a peck, and I was there.

The guy was feeling very nervous and the director just said to me, ah, Captain, please, can you please just excuse us this one scene (laughs).

He saw that the guy was uncomfortable because of my presence and me, I was just laughing. So, for me, it’s not a big deal at all.

It definitely couldn’t have been all smooth sailing. What other challenges would you say comes with marrying a woman of your wife’s status?

The most challenging thing, that makes us argue a lot, is her schedule. Sometimes, especially back then when she was shooting back to back, it was crazy.

And then, when she’s had a busy schedule back to back, she falls sick. It’s standard. She gets Malaria and when my wife is down with Malaria, it’s not fun to be around her.

She’s always in pain and all that. So, anytime I see her schedule, like the very hectic three weeks she used to prepare for her birthday, I could see the stress on her face and one day I had to tell all her team to leave the house.

They were hoping to stay till like twelve mid-night and were supposed to be somewhere very early the following day.

I told them don’t come back to this house until eleven tomorrow morning because she needs to sleep. I could see she was already sneezing and coughing.

I knew those were her malaria signs. And for those days when she was acting back to back, it was tough, and don’t forget the kids were still young then.

It was quite stressful then because I would have to go to the office and see how I would manipulate my schedules and swap my flight with another pilot so I can be home with the kids while she’s away.

And there were times she would be away for two weeks. I had to make sure the flights that I do are not international flights that would make me sleep outside, they would be local flights where I could go and return.

There were times when I could not juggle my flights and the kids had to stay all alone in the house all through the night, But we’ve been able to deal with it. I thank God and give Him the glory.

A lot of people see Omosexy in movies, read about her in the papers and have different perceptions of her. You are the closest person to her, what kind of person is she? What are the things we don’t know about her that only you, and perhaps few members of the family know about?

(Breaks out laughing) Well, she’s stubbornly driven. She’s somebody that, when she wants something, she’s hell bent on getting it.

There’s nothing wrong with that, if you want to achieve something and you’re driven to do it, but sometimes, she can be so stubbornly driven about it that she doesn’t want to listen to anyone else.

Even when she’s hurting those around her, she won’t know. Like when she and her team would come here to make preparations for her birthday, they would be here all day and Omotola would not remember they haven’t eaten.

Because she can cope, she thinks everyone else is like her. I would be the one to ask them, have you guys eaten? And they’ll all answer, no, Captain, we’re very hungry.

And I will cook for all them. That’s why I said she’s so driven she forgets that not everybody can cope with her energy level.

But apart from, I can’t complain about her. I’m really proud of her and the fact that she’s a go-getter, which is not what you find in some women.

They are just comfortable with status quo. Omotola always wants to stand out.

I think it runs in the family, we’re early achievers. In my family, we like to achieve things early in life and do things that are totally different from everybody else.

To wrap this up, what kind of wife and mother would you say Omotola has been?

Well, she’s been a wonderful mother to the kids, that I know for sure.

As a wife, well of course, I gave her the name Omosexy, you should know why I gave her that name (bursts into laughter) She’s sexy, she’s beautiful, she’s a turn-on.

She’s a woman any man would want to have as his wife any day.

…and Bam, KBrule responded in a more savage way!

Check out their exchange below;

The former big brother housemate had initially taken to his Instagram page to solicit for votes so that he can get back into the house.

He wrote;

“My people I know a lot of you were sad and disappointed at my unfortunate exit.”

“But God has given me another chance and with your help anything is possible.”

“pls vote me back in, tell your friends and family to vote and I promise to make you proud second time around.”

The lady in question was dragged especially by male twitter users for daring to compare their manhood to ordinary cucumbers.

In addition, she shared a picture of herself holding 2 cucumbers and said they are well built, well sized than that of men..

But the feedback she got will blow you away.

Some of the men took it a little far as they were clearly pissed by her offensive comments.

University college hospital Ibadan labelled ‘death trap’ after lady died due to alleged negligence

Late Oluwaseun Ezekiel’s loved one accused UCH Ibadan medical officers of negligence and incompetence.

A distraught Nigerian Facebook user, Enoch B. Godson has called out UCH Ibadan, University College Hospital, after he lost a loved one, UNILAG graduate, Oluwaseun Ezekiel at the hospital.

Enoch blames the negligence and incompetence shown by medical officers at the UCH Ibadan for being responsible for her death.

He shared his quite sad story as thus,

UCH Ibadan A Death Trap

I write this from a place of inconsolable grief, sheer anguish, unimaginable pain, and the very zenith of fury having lost a dear one so cheaply and unjustifiably in a place that is erroneously believed to be safe but apparently needs saving itself, riddled with egomaniacal doctors with God complexes, nurses like witches, patients attendants who will not attend to you until you have called them a billion times, morticians who will milk you out of your very life savings just to get the remains ready for burial without caring that you were just bereaved, almost everyone there just seemed inappropriate for their respective jobs – such a shambolic and toxic environment! I lost hope in Nigeria for a moment.

He continued,

We rushed to the emergency department calling for help at about 12am with our dear Oluwaseun diagnosed with Cardiac failure, but it took 15 minutes to have a not-so-friendly looking doctor amble to the car we brought her in just to see whether or not the case was an emergency.

Soon we were asked to pay for so many written things including an oxygen tube so that she could breathe, but getting to the cashier, he told us in no uncertain terms that he would not attend to us until he downs his bowl of amala (biko, who eats amala at such an ungodly hour? But that’s by the way)

We had to scream for help then a senior nurse came and spoke some sense into the glutton who reluctantly attended to us after he heard that the patient was dying. Then again we overheard a nurse say “I hope these ones are here with much money, otherwise they shouldn’t even bother”.

Eventually, Oluwaseun was checked into the resuscitation unit and trust me, that place reeked of death.

A resuscitation center that had only one functional heart monitor to serve four dying patients, no even a single defibrillator, stuffy as hell, very mean nurses; one of whom even threatened to check out any patient whose relatives were not cooperative, two malfunctioning air conditioning systems while every last office there had working ones, it was generally a place prepared to make patients sweat their very weak pulses out.

It should rather be called a euthanasia ward. How patients were objectified was absolutely distressing.

One would have that euphoric shimmer of hope when a team of smug doctors strolls in like demigods only to realise that they came to learn with the patients rather than care for them. What is the point of acquiring redundant knowledge? These people are more used to deaths than saving people.

Oh Goodness Gracious!!! I thought their Hippocratic Oath should mean something or are they just murderers with licence? When you kill someone with your inaction, apathy and negligence are you not complicit?

This grieves my soul and won’t stop replaying in my head.

I held her, watched her breathe her last, crashing; with pain written all over her face. We screamed for help but they were rather concerned with quietening us than reviving Oluwaseun.

They managed to get to her, gave her a few chest compressions in a futile CPR charade, chatting and laughing while at it, and then pronounced her dead JUST LIKE THAT.

We had waited and waited for the cardiologist who neither showed up nor called for her to be relocated to the cardiology unit until she gave up at 7:20 pm on the 17th of march 2018.

This is a fresh brilliant UniLag graduate due for NYSC in a few weeks, someone’s beloved daughter, beautiful sister and wonderful friend; someone’s decades of physical, psychological and financial investment left for dead in a Nigerian foremost health centre.

Oluwaseun Ezekiel we love you. Even though you were a victim of inept doctors and failed health policies, you forever will be in our hearts.

I write this hoping to find some closure by laying it all bare, peradventure it would get to relevant authorities who will amend and enforce the standard operating procedures of this helluva health facility, but unfortunately; Oluwaseun you will still be greatly missed. Rest on in the arms of the Lord.

Don’t wait to experience this before you know about some doctors playing God. Please share until someone in authority notices and this menace is fixed #fixuch #fixourhospitals #ripseun

Married Nigerian woman compares Hushpuppi to Davido, Wizkid & EMoney.. He responds!

Hushpuppi is not here for trolls, he has not come to play on Social media, as he has on multiple occasions put some trolls in their rightful places.

The Malaysian-Based Nigerian Big Boy is known for always flaunting his “wealth” on Social media.

As a result, he keeps donning expensive designer wears and what’s not.

In a recent post he made on his social media, an Instagram user, @ochabutic decided to call out the Socialite..

She wrote;

“Vanity upon vanity, you wear the most expensive cloth, you sample them on social media. How many times have you advertised Jesus? How many people have you changed their lives. Anybody that has really have money don’t act like you. People that has money doesn’t make noise such as “Iam_emoney1 @wizkidayo @genevievennaji @davidoofficial. and many more. Please wake up little boy and stop behaving like a chicken”.

Hushpuppi had a response for her of course, and it reads thus;

“I still don’t understand how you married old women with children will come on someone else’s child’s page that you wasn’t invited to, to come and say stupid things and not minding your business.”

“Now if I decide to swear for your child wey dey mind him own business jeje now, they will say I’m a bad person. If you no want make Ogun kill your papa and your full household, no carry your bastard dirty mouth come my page come dey complain as I dey live my life. Go follow Jesus for Instagram make you dey comment there, I no even be Christian so carry your madness comot here, useless woman.”

“There’s no big deal in passionately kissing an actor” – Nkechi Blessing

Nollywood thespian, Nkechi Blessing has said she believes there is nothing wrong in passionately kissing one’s co-star in a movie.

The actress came under intense heat following a video she shared on her IG, which saw her kissing a young actor – in light of this, she shared her thoughts with Sunday Scoop.

In her own words,

“There was nothing real about that scene. It was just an act and there were many people with us on that set. When we watch American films, we appreciate them for how natural they act, but when it comes to our things, we criticise our actors for doing their jobs well. Acting is make-believe and we need to make our fans believe whatever we show them on screen.”

She continued,

The title of the movie is Bad Market and it was directed by Yomi Gold. I have no fears that people would criticise me for doing my job well. Since the beginning of my career, this is the first time that I would be locking lips with any actor. We cannot be faking things like this anymore. If we don’t play the role well, it is the same Africans that would bash us for not doing it as well as it is done in the western world.”

On if she can ever go nude for a movie role, she said;

“Kissing is the height of it for me and I think that is normal. I don’t see myself ever going nude in a movie,” she added.

Beyonce’s daughter, Blue Ivy bids $19k on a piece of art

Beyonce’s daughter, 6 year old Blue Ivy Carter made an impressive boss move as she stole a show when she decided to bid $19k on a work of art.

Her parents however tried to pry away the bidding paddle from her grip but an unyielding Blue held on and went ahead with her bidding – last night.

The power couple and their daughter attended the 2nd Annual Wearable Art Gala at Alexandria Ballrooms in Los Angeles.

Blue Ivy sat in between her parents as she waved the paddle board to grab the auctioneers attention – while a worried Jay Z tried to pry the paddle away unsuccessfully, he finally let her $19k bid stand.

The evening’s theme was ‘From WACO to Wakanda’ and everyone’s outfits reflected the Black Panther movie.

According to research, women often find well-groomed, masculine characteristics attractive.

Nevertheless, women’s preferences also change with their own mating goals.

Though facial hair might seem to be polarizing, with some women finding it attractive and others finding it a turn off.

Furthermore, a study was carried out on women’s preferences about male facial hair and all and its results indicated that the women found men with light stubble most attractive.

These men were preferred as both short and long-term partners.

However, the women perceived male faces with full beards as the most masculine, aggressive, and socially mature.

The women also thought these men looked older.

Men’s faces with light beards were considered the most dominant.

Given the results, whether a man should grow a beard will depend on his own relationship goals (and perhaps those of his preferred partner).

Finally, guys looking to get noticed and be more sexually appealing may benefit from some masculine stubble on their cheeks.
