Banky Wellington, popularly known as BankyW turned a year older today.

The RnB Singer and Actor, is now a proud owner of a Lekki Mansion.

The singer had married Nollywood Actress, Adesua Etomi in November 2017.

He is currently moving out of his Lekki Phase 1 apartment into a bigger duplex with his own private swimming pool.

The swimming pool has his initial “W” at the bottom.

Finishing touches and some minor jobs are also currently being done on the property.

Meanwhile, his actress wife, Adesua Etomi has revealed how she lucky she is to have him in her life and how much he means to her.

She stated this while celebrating him earlier today.

Video – Man arrests slay queen who stole his wristwatches worth $2,400

A Nigerian man has arrested two slay queens for stealing from him.

They stole wristwatches worth $2,400 each from him.

According to him, he had met one of the girls at an ATM point close to his house.

They exchanged contact and began chatting on Facebook.

Their relationship began getting stronger as they continued chatting on Facebook.

A few days later, she texted the victim that she wanted to spend quality time with him at his place.

Unknowingly for him, her intentions were to steal.

To cut the story short, she stole two wristwatches from his place alleged to worth $1,200 each.

After successfully stealing from him, she blocked him on Facebook.

Then he tried setting her up, so he could get her arrested, which he did.

He tracked her via one of her friends, the other lady putting on glass in the video.

“My husband ran away when he discovered I am carrying triplets” – Nigerian Lady

Last Thursday, a certain Mrs. Ijeoma Uzoma, delivered triplets in Lagos.

She narrated how her husband ran away from home four months ago after seeing her scan result and discovered they’d be having triplets.

Mrs Uzoma, who lives at Farayibi Street, Bariga appealed to the public and the government to help her raise the babies.

‘’My husband left home since December when we did the scan and the results showed that I’m carrying triplets.

I don’t know where he is. I’ve not set my eyes on him since then. He left home without my notice.

I wonder how he could abandon me in such condition. If he returns, I will tell him to go and see the government since they are the ones taking care of me,” she said. 

“I don’t have anything. I’m still feeling pains. If the government can help with money, I will be glad. I used to hang umbrella to plait people’s hair in our house before delivery.

I need money to raise these children and start business. I do not like begging;

I can work if government can give me fund to establish myself,” she said.

She also thanked Bariga Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Chairman Kolade Alabi for coming to her aid.

“God will bless him; the Lord will lift him and give him bigger position and others who came with him. They really made me happy,” she said. 

The Nation also reported that the woman laboured for 14 hours at home before she was rushed to the hospital.

A carpenter , Nnana Ononaku , was on Monday brought before an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos , for allegedly strangling his wife to death and throwing her body into the lagoon.

The accused, 45, resident of number 89, Oke Eri Street, Oworonshoki, Lagos, was charged with murder.

His plea was not taken.

Earlier, the Prosecutor, Inspector Cousin Adams, had told the court that the accused committed the offence on February 15, at 11.00 pm at Oke – Eri in Oworonshoki.

Adams said that the accused strangled his wife , Iyabo Akinpelu, 48 , before throwing her body into the lagoon.

“Her body was found floating in the lagoon with her hands tied with a rope,” the prosecutor alleged.

He said the offence contravened Section 223 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015 which stipulates a death sentence for convicts.

The Chief Magistrate, Mrs . A. O . Adegite, remanded the accused at the Ikoyi Prisons, pending an outcome of legal advice from the State Director of Public Prosecutions.

She adjourned the case until April 30 for the legal advice.

Cee-C’s sister has been managing her social media platforms since she’s made it into the Big Brother Naija House… and she keeps raecting to every negative post/comments about her sister.

This morning, Nina, Cee-C and Khloe had a fall out over food.. and her sister, has taken to Cee’C’s Instagram page to react, saying CeeC would have simply avoided the fight.

According to Cee-C’s sister, Cee-C had every right to get angry but she could have avoided the urge to get into that confrontation.

In a now deleted post, she wrote

So this morning I made a post that I took down about the issue between Cee-C and Nina. . . Here’s what I think: . . Yes! There was provocation.

Yes! She had the right to get angry. . But I felt she could’ve AVOIDED the urge to get into that confrontation. Though Nina made a statement after the apology that may make the apology look halfhearted but Cee-C could have jumped and pass. . At least it would’ve made my work here easier! .

The real why football star, Cristiano Ronaldo refuses to get a tattoo has been revealed.

Where many footballers use their hard-earned cash to draw tattoos on their skin the Real Madrid forward has refrained because he regularly donates blood, it is believed.

The Portugal captain, who isn’t shy in showing off his physique, has kept his body in impeccable condition over the years – which has also helped with his performances on the pitch.

Ronaldo has spoken of his desire to donate blood on more than one occasion, and in 2015 he told Eurosport :

“We can all make a difference by donating blood. Each donation can benefit up to three people in emergency situations and for long-term medical treatments.”

“That’s why I am enthusiastic, to the importance of blood donation and to encourage people around the world to become lifelong blood donors and help save lives.”

The 33-year-old also tweeted on June 13 and December 30 2017 raising awareness for donating blood.

According to Give Blood, donors who get tattoos must wait four months after getting inked before doing so.

And Ronaldo doesn’t just stop at blood, he’s a bone marrow donor too.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner decided to make the call after Carlos Martins’ son fell ill.

“It was the time when Carlos [Martins] was with us on the national team.

He told us about the problem with his son and we, the players, showed great unity to help him and his son because we knew it was a very complicated situation,” Ronaldo told radio station Cadena Cope.

“[Donating bone marrow] is something a lot of people think is a difficult thing to do but it’s nothing more than drawing blood and doesn’t hurt.

“I did it many years ago and if I had to do it again I would because this is a very serious disease for many children and we need to help them.”

This comes after her father Engr. Vincent Idowu, a Civil Engineering lecturer at Ambrose Ali University, married a 400 level student of the school few days ago.

In what seems like a shade meant for her father, she shared a post on her Instagram page which read ‘some of the most poisonous people come disguised as friends and family’.

In an IG exchange, TBoss blast her followers who questioned her upbringing and her alleged proud personality.

EFCC arrests Actor Mike Ezuruonye’s impersonator

The EFCC has arrested an impersonator of Nollywood Actor, Mike Ezuruonye.

The suspect is identified as Osigboyo and was arrested in Benin city, Edo state.

The actor had petitioned the antigraft agency in May 2017 after the impersonator used his image to defraud his unsuspecting fans.

Sharing the news on his Instagram page, the actor wrote:

An impersonator of Nollywood actor, Mike Ezuruonye, has been arrested by the EFCC.

Today, one of the alleged culprits was apprehended by the EFCC. The suspect is identified as Osigbovo from Benin, Edo State.

He is currently in the custody of EFCC for collecting large sums of money from female fans of the actor.

He allegedly used Ezuruonye’s image and videos and superimposed his own voice to deceive these women.

Tonto Dikeh has cleared the air about the relationship between her son, King Andre and his supposed grandfather, Olusegun Obasanjo.

Recall we’ve always been led to believe that her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill is the son of former president, Olusegun Obasanjo.

In a new rant on Isntagram, Tonto has cleared the air.

An Instagram account, dedicated to sharing pictures of Nigerian celebrities kids and their parents, shared a picture of Tonto’s son, Andre and Olusegun Obasanjo, captioning the photo: “The former president of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo and his grand child… 100% cute..”

Then Tonto Dikeh via her official Instagram Account responded thus: “Excuse me, that’s my son and that’s not his grandfather in any way. Baba is a great men and has been wonderful to me and my son , but Unfortunately we have no blood relationship with Baba.”

So, it looks as if the drama in the house isn’t going to end anytime soon.. and we can’t just wait for more.

Though Khloe said she was going to mess with Cee-C a little, and she’d tell her to calm the f**k down.. But reverse was the case when she spoke to CeeC yesterday.

Khloe during a question and answer game advised Cee-C about being aggressive.

Khloe told Cee-C that it does not pay to flare up at every given situation.

According to her, Cee-C needs to calm down and let love win.

Khloe said, ” Cee-C, you know we had issues before I left the house but regardless I will give you this advice.

”You need to calm down, I mean you don’t need to flare up always.

”You have to reset yourself and let love win. ”

After this encounter with CeeC, everyone thought Khloe calmness has returned, but with what happened earlier today, It’s far from it.

There was a clash that broke between Nina, Khloe and CeeC, and it didn’t go down well with them, as they nearly came to blows.

The star-studded birthday party was organized by popular Comedian and OAP Mc Abbey as he also celebrated his wife’s birthday and the home-coming of his new baby.

The party had in attendance celebrities such as Yaw of Wazobia FM, Elsie Okpocha (Basket Mouth’s Wife), IK Osakioduwa, Uche Nnaji: Creative Director of Ouch Men’s Clothing, Ogbolor from Jenifa’s Dairy, Celebrity Couple Mayowa and Roby Ekpo, Rems the Comedian, Grand Comedian, Efe Warri Boy, Uwa Idahosa and others.

Another Birthday party was also organized for him in school yesterday where gifts and party packs were distributed to students of the school courtesy of Party Palace Events.

Oluwatobiloba who was born to a very poor family in the suburbs of Lagos is now a child-model and actor and seems to have opened doors for his family as he recently got a scholarship to university level.

His father has also gotten an eye surgery & Tobi is now meeting famous people.

UN urges Nigeria to legalize the use of cannabis

At a time when drug abuse is a national health issue, Nigeria may soon relax its law against planting and consumption of cannabis, with declaration that the United Nations ((UN) has approved usage of the drug for medical purposes.

The position of UN on the usage and abuse of drug was declared by Project Officer of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Nigeria, Harsheth Kaur Virk, in her presentation at a one day Public hearing on the need to check rising menace of Pharmaceutical drugs abuse among youth in Nigeria organised by the Senate Committee on Drugs, Narcotics and Health.

According to her, Cannabis is a miracle drug allowed for medical purposes by the United Nations, but not for recreational purposes. She said: “Nigeria as a sovereign Nation has its stringent laws against it but international conventions of the UN have approved it for medical purposes based on outcome of researches conducted to that effect by globally recognized institutes.”

According to her, aside cannabis, recreational users of other addictive drugs by UN recommendation, should not be criminalised, but rehabilitated, adding, “The Drugs and Crime office of the UN sees addictive drugs users as people who are sick, in need of treatment, care and rehabilitation.”

The UN official however pointed out that the global body was against drug trafficking. She charged Nigeria’s security agencies to be proactive in their anti-drug trafficking campaign and not reactive.

A woman in Burga, Bauchi State, has become the center of attraction in her area after allegedly giving birth to a baby with a Qur’an and Muslim prayer bead in his hand.

According to reports, when the woman came to the Islamic leader in Burga, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, she claimed that this boy who has been named Muhammad Auwal, was born with those items in his hand as she allegedly swore that she wasn’t lying.

According to reports, Sheik Dahiru Bauchi said: “This is nothing in the sight of Allah for the ungrateful disbelievers of the Prophet (SAW) to fu rther show them that the Messenger of Allah is true.

Layla Amani, Teddy A’s baby mama, has being supporting the rapper since the beginning of the show.

Despite his in-house relationship with fellow housemate BamBam, she has taken to her social media to praise him.

Layla Amani said Teddy is such a good man, father and also her partner in crime.

The Dallas based Mauritanian beauty shared lovely photos of him with their son and wrote;

Teddy A has a very cute son and a very beautiful baby mama. The 29-year-old handsome recording artiste is a graduate of the University of Texas.

During an interview, Teddy A said he adores spending quality time with his son, and also considers his high points in life when his son was born and getting a recording contract.

Teddy A’s baby mama, Layla Amani, also shared adorable photos of their son rocking his campaign t-shirts.

The Dallas based Mauritanian beauty shared the photos and wrote;

Beautiful pre-wedding photos of two Amputees

Two yet to be identified amputees have found love and have decided to spend the rest of their lives together.

The adorable couple had their pre-wedding photo shoot and the photos are going viral.

The lady has one arm amputated while the man has a leg amputated, but this didn’t take away from the beauty of their photos neither did it seem to reduce their joy.

They looked absolutely beautiful together.

Cee-C has just revealed why she put fellow housemates Bam Bam and Teddy A up for possible eviction this week.

On Monday during her diary session with Biggie, Cee-C revealed that BamBam talks down on people and also gossip a lot.

She also disclosed that she put up Teddy A for possible eviction because he was becoming more arrogant to fellow housemates.

According to Cee-C, “Bambam always talk people down at every opportunity she gets. When we are together, she never talks only to go behind and start saying things.

“As for Teddy A, we have been cool but recently I started noticing this arrogance in him. He believes the way he wants something is how it should be.”

Following voting by housemates, Teddy A, Cee-C, Nina and Bambam are up for eviction.

Meanwhile, Bam Bam appear to be fed up with her fellow housemates as she in her last diary session with Biggie burst into tears while explaining herself.

During her diary session on Monday, BBNaija housemate, Bambam could not hold back her emotions as she burst into tears.

BamBam revealed she was tired of everyone calling her out to be fake.

She had earlier on complained of being hated by fellow housemates and talked about a lot in the house.

“I am a private person, Big brother, I’m so tired of housemates calling me fake.

“I really can’t stand these people anymore, the only person that keeps me together is Teddy A.

“I feel upset, irritated, overwhelmed. It is getting harder to be strong. It is getting harder to stay focused. Maybe I am not that strong, after all.

Just few days after On Air Personality, Daddy Freeze stated categorically that Nigerian celebs should stop buying fake designer wears, Nigerian singer, Kiss Daniel has refused to heed to the OAP and now, he’s been busted by a foreign account over his fake designer clothes.

The singer, few days ago took to his IG page to show off a newly acquired prized possession of his allegedly worth N14million.

He took to his page to show off the diamond encrusted customized chain and gave credit to the UK-based Nigerian jeweler, Malivelihood, who made the piece.

The celebrity jeweler then took to the comment section of the post and confirmed the price of the chain saying, “N14million no be small thing o.”

In a period of time where justice for domestic violence can bring an abrupt end to one’s free life if the charges were filed against the individual, a lady has admitted that she indeed falsely accused a guy of raping her.

@lafunki who shared the pathetic story on Twitter, stated how the lady faked the story of a man raping her – according to @lafunki, the lady told the faux to the extent that she even shed tears to make it seem real.

It was only days later that the sister of the lady told @lafunki that the story is actually a lie and that her sister told it only because she wanted to teach the guy a lesson.

Woman leaks alleged sexting messages

A woman has leaked the explicit text messages she alleged were sent to her by the pastor of the New Creation Church in Dallas Texas and this has sent the church into pandemonium.

The woman first posted screenshots of the messages on the Church’s Facebook page – she claims they were sent to her by pastor Aaron L Finley, but the pastor, who is married with kids, claims not to know the woman in question.

The messages are quite explicit – one is of the pastor asking the woman if her period wasn’t over yet because he needs “p**sy“. The woman told him she was still on her period, then he asked her to help him get someone because he needed it badly.

The church is divided now as some member believe the pastor’s claim that he’s innocent while some do not believe him. As expected, this has led to division within the church.

Controversial actor Uche Maduagwu, who had earlier declared his intention to marry Nollywood actress Chika Ike, said that he is the only one that can take good care of her.

He said this in an interview with Nollyzone and went further to say that he is the only one who can make the gorgeous actress happy and thus she should come find him.

#BBNaija: Throwback video proves Anto knew about Lolu’s girlfriend outside the house

It actually turns out that BBNaija housemate, Lolu did not lie about his relationship with someone outside the house, as Anto claims.

A video from the opening show of BBNaija have been dug out by Nigerians.

At the opening show, Lolu told Ebuka in the presence of Anto that he has someone around the corner but that he is open to falling in love with someone in the house.

Earlier on this afternoon, Anto who has been avoiding her love interest Lolu revealed to other housemates that the reason is because he has a girlfriend outside.

She  told Lolu that she will never be close to him again in the house because while she was out of the house, she discovered he had someone he was seeing and that she felt very heartbroken when she discovered.

She revealed that she cried in her bathroom in her hotel room after she discovered he had someone serious outside the house. She said she felt he played her.
