The EFCC has arrested an impersonator of Nollywood Actor, Mike Ezuruonye.
The suspect is identified as Osigboyo and was arrested in Benin city, Edo state.
The actor had petitioned the antigraft agency in May 2017 after the impersonator used his image to defraud his unsuspecting fans.
Sharing the news on his Instagram page, the actor wrote:

An impersonator of Nollywood actor, Mike Ezuruonye, has been arrested by the EFCC.
It was gathered that after having his image dragged in the mud by criminal elements who use his name to defraud unsuspecting fans, Ezuruonye petitioned the police. .
Today, one of the alleged culprits was apprehended by the EFCC. The suspect is identified as Osigbovo from Benin, Edo State.
He is currently in the custody of EFCC for collecting large sums of money from female fans of the actor.
He allegedly used Ezuruonye’s image and videos and superimposed his own voice to deceive these women.
Tonto Dikeh has cleared the air about the relationship between her son, King Andre and his supposed grandfather, Olusegun Obasanjo.
Recall we’ve always been led to believe that her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill is the son of former president, Olusegun Obasanjo.
In a new rant on Isntagram, Tonto has cleared the air.

Then Tonto Dikeh via her official Instagram Account responded thus: “Excuse me, that’s my son and that’s not his grandfather in any way. Baba is a great men and has been wonderful to me and my son , but Unfortunately we have no blood relationship with Baba.”

At a time when drug abuse is a national health issue, Nigeria may soon relax its law against planting and consumption of cannabis, with declaration that the United Nations ((UN) has approved usage of the drug for medical purposes.
The position of UN on the usage and abuse of drug was declared by Project Officer of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Nigeria, Harsheth Kaur Virk, in her presentation at a one day Public hearing on the need to check rising menace of Pharmaceutical drugs abuse among youth in Nigeria organised by the Senate Committee on Drugs, Narcotics and Health.
According to her, Cannabis is a miracle drug allowed for medical purposes by the United Nations, but not for recreational purposes. She said: “Nigeria as a sovereign Nation has its stringent laws against it but international conventions of the UN have approved it for medical purposes based on outcome of researches conducted to that effect by globally recognized institutes.”
According to her, aside cannabis, recreational users of other addictive drugs by UN recommendation, should not be criminalised, but rehabilitated, adding, “The Drugs and Crime office of the UN sees addictive drugs users as people who are sick, in need of treatment, care and rehabilitation.”
The UN official however pointed out that the global body was against drug trafficking. She charged Nigeria’s security agencies to be proactive in their anti-drug trafficking campaign and not reactive.
A woman in Burga, Bauchi State, has become the center of attraction in her area after allegedly giving birth to a baby with a Qur’an and Muslim prayer bead in his hand.
According to reports, when the woman came to the Islamic leader in Burga, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, she claimed that this boy who has been named Muhammad Auwal, was born with those items in his hand as she allegedly swore that she wasn’t lying.

A woman has leaked the explicit text messages she alleged were sent to her by the pastor of the New Creation Church in Dallas Texas and this has sent the church into pandemonium.
The woman first posted screenshots of the messages on the Church’s Facebook page – she claims they were sent to her by pastor Aaron L Finley, but the pastor, who is married with kids, claims not to know the woman in question.
The messages are quite explicit – one is of the pastor asking the woman if her period wasn’t over yet because he needs “p**sy“. The woman told him she was still on her period, then he asked her to help him get someone because he needed it badly.
The church is divided now as some member believe the pastor’s claim that he’s innocent while some do not believe him. As expected, this has led to division within the church.
Controversial actor Uche Maduagwu, who had earlier declared his intention to marry Nollywood actress Chika Ike, said that he is the only one that can take good care of her.

The University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, UMTH, has said it has conducted a successful facial surgery on a 26-year old victim of acid attack, Fatima Habu Usman.
The Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee of the hospital, Bashir Tahir, made the disclosure on Monday in an interview with newsmen in Maiduguri – he described the facial operation as successful, adding that the victim would undergo other surgeries on the shoulder and other parts of her body in the coming weeks.
“Fatima Usman is in stable condition now; we shall continue to examine her and assist in her recuperation.” he said
Usman, a final year student of Department of Nursing, University of Maiduguri, UNIMAID, Fatima Habu Usman was kidnapped on Friday March 16, in front of the First Bank Plc, Maiduguri shortly after she emerged from the bank where she had gone to deposit some cash.
She boarded a commercial tricycle popularly called Keke NAPEP to Baga Road, but unknown to her, one of the men in the tricycle brought out a white handkerchief and pretended as though he was having cough, but as soon as he touched her face with it, she passed out, only to find herself dumped at the Railway Bayan Quarters area, bathed with a substance suspected to be acid.
She sustained injuries on the face and other parts of her body. She was also dispossessed of her android phone and other valuables.

A final year student of Ebonyi State University, identified as Doris Chinaza Edeh died in her sleep this morning.
Before her death, she was a 400 level Sociology student of the university.
According to reports, Doris was found dead this morning, after she went to bed last night.

The founder of the infamous MMM financial pyramid schemes, Sergey Mavrodi, died of a heart attack on Monday, March 26, 2018, at the age of 62.
The former deputy of the State Duma died in the Russian capital, Moscow, after he felt weakness and pain in the chest area.
Here are a few things you need to know about him:
1. Mavrodi was born on August 11, 1955, in Russian capital, Moscow, and was diagnosed with bilateral heart defect in his childhood.
2. He was first arrested in 1983 for illegal economic activity and was detained for 10 days.
3. In 1989, he launched MMM with his brother Vyacheslav Mavrodi, and a woman Olga Melnikova.
The name of the company was taken from the first letters of the three founders’ surnames.
The Russian company perpetrated one of the world’s largest Ponzi schemes of all time, in the 1990s with different estimates from 5 to 10 million people losing their savings.
4. Mavrodi launched the MMM Ponzi scheme for the first time in February 1994, promising annual returns of up to 3,000%.
On August 4, 1994, he was arrested on tax evasion charges, unrelated to the MMM scheme.
5. To escape prosecution, Mavrodi contested for and won a by-election to replace Andrey Aizderdzis in the State Duma, and with it immunity from prosecution.
In October 1995, the Duma cancelled Mavrodi’s right to immunity as a deputy.
6. Mavrodi tried to run for Russia’s presidency, but his bid was rejected after officials ruled that most of the signatures he submitted had been forged.
7. He was placed on an international wanted list in 1998 when he was believed to be on the run from the tax evasion charges and was eventually arrested in Moscow in 2003.
8. In 2007, a Moscow court found Mavrodi guilty of defrauding 10,000 investors of $4.3 million, and sentenced him to four and a half years in a penal colony and also fined him $390.
Since he had already spent over four years in custody, he was released less than a month later on May 22, 2007.
9. In 2008, Mavrodi published a book titled Temptation. In May of the same year, bailiffs arrested his rights to the book. 7,000 copies of the book were published.
10. A feature film titled The PyraMMMid, based on the story of the same name by Mavrodi, was released in Russia on April 7, 2011.

A Nigerian man has shared a “powerful” testimony of he was saved from the hands of a dangerous-horrible-looking cobra when he went to the toilet to pee.

God saved me from a dangerous horrible looking cobra yesterday night in my toilet Seat(WC) here in Abraka delta state.
It was around 7.34pm when wanted to use the toilet (pee) I decided to use my touch light to view the sink before action,i saw a black stuff below the water in the toilet seat and I was trying to identify what it could be because I used the toilet some hours ago.
Lo and behold it was a horrible looking cobra. I called the care taker of the hostel where I live, he came and confirmed it.
The snake is so big that we couldn’t devised another good means to kill it than the use of Gun?.
For more than 2hrs the snake was there until we called the attention of the vigilante group and finally it was killed with the aid of a gun.
Please always make sure you look very well before using your toilet. I couldn’t believe how it entered but verifications say it came from the toilet suck away pit.

The singer, about two days ago flied out to Senegal for his ’30 billion’ African tour, alongside his girlfriend Chioma Avril, DJ Cuppy and her boyfriend Asa Asika.
Sharing a photo of them in a private jet, Davido wrote;
