Recall that the 22-year-old reality TV star emerged winner of the competition and clinched the N120 million grand prize on Sunday, October 1.

However, there has been speculation that she only emerged as the winner because people pitied and perceived her as weak and fragile because she was the youngest housemate in the house.

Ilebaye debunks

Some argued that she gained popularity after facing bullying and criticism from her senior housemates due to her age.

Addressing these speculations during a recent interview on Lagos Talks, she confidently refuted the idea that her victory was a result of sympathy or because she was considered the underdog.

A man suspected of being an internet fraudster, otherwise known as Yahoo boy, has sent a warning to other fraudsters after gaining freedom from EFCC detention.

The young man was reportedly taken into custody by agents of the anti-graft agency who detained him for a while.

After being set free, he advised others who were still committing fraud to cease right away before the agency will arrest him.

The young man said in the video that has gone viral online that he wouldn’t want other people to go through what he had just gone through as he recorded a video of himself in front of the EFCC office.

He said:

“If you know say you dey do fraud, try stop. If you know say you be fraudster, try stop. Una dey see am? na EFCC custody be this. Dem just release me now now, na me know wetin my eyes see for here ooo.”

The lady had shared through her Facebook page that the boy’s mummy left him and his other siblings with their dad in Osogbo, Osun state and she found him sleeping in a church on their street after being beaten with a cutlass by his dad, which lead to him running away from home.

She posted on Facebook,

“Please someone should send me the link to any organization that can come and take this boy and his siblings for properly care, his name is Samson his daddy beat him with cutlass yesterday, he ran away from home yesterday and slept in one church in my street, we saw him where he faint this morning, his mummy left him and his other siblings with their dad and left ..please his urgent he need help …”

The lady also shared the location of the incident and pleaded with other internet users to provide her with any organization that could take care of the boy and his siblings.

Adekunle made it clear in a recent radio interview that he doesn’t want any gifts of any type from their shippers.

According to Adekunle, there is typically an expectation when you receive support from fans and shippers because of your relationship with a particular housemate.

The disappointed man further revealed that he took the legal route as the child’s mother didn’t give her consent for the DNA test.

“To DNA you need a consent or presence of the mother, a letter if she can’t come or a court order. So I went through the legal route,” he wrote.

He, however, stated that he will always be in the child’s life and take care of her because she changed his life.

Apparently, the 23-year-old writer was one of the children who took pictures with Uti after he won the ‘All Stars’ edition of Big Brother Africa in 2010.

Award-winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has expressed his dislike for Twitter users while referring to them as mad.

The “I told them” crooner expressed his utter dislike for X (formerly known as Twitter) users in an interview with a woman, where she asked him what he would like to bring to “Henrie’s hotline”.

He acknowledged that he initially believed the craziness only applied to Nigerian Twitter users and that it may be different in other places, but he later discovered a pattern that was consistent throughout Kenya, South Africa, and even America.

According to him, the discovery of the American Twitter users was his biggest surprise, as they have their own set of groupings and fan clubs.

A businesswoman has taken to social media to share how she fired a woman she had hired after just three days of work because she started requesting her husband’s phone number.

The woman disclosed that she had asked the woman to assist them with light labour and clean-ups at their warehouse.

Primeboy, also known as Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin, a childhood friend of the late singer Mohbad, has accused his wife, Wunmi, of attempting to falsely incriminate him in his death.

In an interview with TVC, conducted shortly before he surrendered himself to the Lagos State Police Command, Primeboy claimed that he was unaware that the police were searching for him.

When questioned about the police’s statement that they had invited him for questioning but he failed to show up, he said,

“That is a big lie. How will I receive a message from the police and I will refuse them? Even before all this wanted issue, I even wanted to go and explain myself at the station because people started accusing me wrongly. People that I called said I should chill and not go anywhere and that I should wait for them to invite me and so I kept waiting and suddenly, I just found myself wanted online yesterday, people started calling me. I was shocked. I was surprised. I called my lawyer, called my family and they said I should just calm down.”

Speaking further, he mentioned that on the Sunday before Mohbad’s passing, he was in the same car with the singer and his wife when they had a misunderstanding, and the singer asked him to leave the car.

Considering the event that played out, he said he doesn’t understand why the singer’s wife went online to frame him in his death shortly after his passing.

Reality TV star, Tolanibaj has issued a sincere apology to her colleague, Princess Onyejekwe for her prior behaviour while they were in the house.

Recall that Tolanibaj challenged Princess for dancing with her love interest, Neo Akpofure, at one of the Saturday night parties in the BBNaija house.

Tolanibaj expressed her regret for acting disrespectfully and immaturely towards Princess in a video that was uploaded to her YouTube account.

She acknowledged that a more mature and considerate dialogue with her would have been the better course of action.

In Tolanibaj’s words;

According to @desola__xn, the married man had rented an apartment for her. However, shortly after moving in, she discovered that his two other mistresses were also residing in the same building.

She found out when the two other mistresses celebrated him on his birthday and referred to him as their ‘boyfriend.’ Following her discovery, she confronted him, and he told her to either mind her own business or move out of the house.

“My cousin just moved into a new estate in Lagos, where her married boyfriend lives. Apparently he rented the apartment for her so she could be close to him. After few weeks she met a woman at the estate gym and they connected as gym partners few days ago her married boyfriend was celebrating his birthday only for the woman she met in the gym to post on her Whatsapp status and wished him as her husband. Two other girls in her compound posted his picture too as their boyfriends.

“She later found out that he owns the house and he claimed to have rented for her and he puts all his side chicks there, He was so coded my cousin never saw him enter the compound unless he wants to come and see her. After some weeks she confronted him and he said She should mind her business or move out of his house. She’s still minding her business till now.”

Primeboy, a childhood friend of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has willingly turned himself in to the police hours after he was declared wanted in connection with the death of the singer.

Recall that Primeboy, whose real name is Owodunni Ibrahim, made headlines on Wednesday, October 4, after he was declared wanted, and a N1 million bounty was placed on him.

This action was prompted after he failed to respond to the police invitation sent to him to assist in their ongoing investigation into the circumstances that led to the singer’s death.

In a recent update, Primeboy has surrendered himself to the police. He was seen with his lawyer entering the police headquarters in Lagos on Thursday morning, October 5.

Confirming the news, Ben Hundeyin, the spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, stated that he has been taken into custody for questioning.

He wrote,

“Following his being declared wanted, Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin aka Primeboy has turned himself in. He has, immediately, been taken into custody for interrogation and other necessary actions.
The Lagos State Police Command once again assures family, friends, fans of Mohbad and the general public that no stone will be left unturned in ensuring a most diligent investigation. The Command equally assures that all persons found culpable in the death of Mr Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad will definitely be brought to justice.”

A pet owner shared a video on social media of herself scolding her pet cat, over its rejection of the kind of meals it was offered.

The video which she posted with the caption ‘your pet cat refuses to eat anything other than meat‘ gained a lot of reaction from netizens, as they found the cat’s attitude funny.

In the video, the pet owner is seen speaking to her pet over its decision to starve instead of eating the food she offered it; a kind of cereal.

According to her, the cat only wants to eat meat, she went on to compare her cat to other cats within the neighborhood claiming those ones eat only what they find along the roadside but her cat keeps selecting what to eat.

As she stressed on the fact that the type of meal it wanted is expensive, the cat kept squinting its eye… annoyed with the cat’s reaction, she angrily spoke to it saying ‘you would fast for three days straight’.

A Nigerian gay rights activist identified as Michael Ighodaro is set to wed his Armenian-American partner, Jirair Ratevosian.

The New York-based man, who describes himself as the first African-born gay man living with HIV to co-lead a global organization, took to the microblogging platform X to share the news on Wednesday, October 4.
