Reality TV star, Ike Onyema, has seemingly taken a swipe at his ex-lover and fellow reality TV star, Mercy Eke, in response to her recent viral interview video.

The former Big Brother Naija star took to the microblogging platform X to share a photo of himself with a caption that appeared to indirectly reference someone.

In his caption, he mentioned that this person promotes women supporting each other until it involves supporting another woman. He included a suggestive hashtag, describing the person as a ‘crocodile.’

This post comes after Mercy Eke’s emotional interview with media personality Hero Daniels, in which she expressed her frustration at having only her fans as her primary source of support during her time in the Big Brother house.

Mercy also broke down in tears as she mentioned her desire for ‘more,’ alluding to her aspiration to win the All Stars season but ending up as the first runner-up. You can watch the interview here.

Less than 24 hours after the interview video was shared online, Ike shared the tweet, leading many to speculate that he was indirectly criticizing Mercy and characterizing her tears as ‘crocodile tears.’

They also asserted that he was throwing shades at Mercy for not fully supporting Ilebaye’s emergence as the winner of the show, despite wanting to be supported herself.

Former Nigerian footballer, Emmanuel Emenike, has responded to the demolition of houses built on waterways in the Ikota Area of Lagos state.

Videos of the mansions being demolished were shared online over the weekend, and residents were seen weeping over the loss of their homes.

However, the state Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, who spoke to the residents, firmly stated that they were given ample time to vacate the buildings, but they refused.

Nigerian singer and DMW signee, Tobechukwu Victor Okoh popularly known as Peruzzi has revealed during a freestyle in his studio that he wrote Davido’s global hit song ‘Unavailable’.

The song which is number five on Davido’s recently released album ‘Timeless’ features Musa Keys, a fellow artiste, has now gained sixty-six million views on YouTube and 99m plus plays on Spotify.

A Nigerian lady has posted a video on social media, where she shared how people especially men admired her hairstyle.

The lady who goes by username @fayy_gold shared the video on TikTok with the caption “POV: Neat braids and Men is 5&6.”

According to her she had come across a trending video where a guy mentioned that men find braids (all back) very attractive on women.

To prove whether the statement in question was true, she decided to give it a try. She went to different public places with her hair braided ‘all back’.

She then revealed how she received a lot of compliments from people, both male and female.

Titi, the mother of reality TV star Angel Smith, has responded after facing heavy criticism from fans of her daughter’s colleague, Mercy Eke.

Apparently, Mercy’s fans organized a Space session on the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) where they strongly criticized Angel and her mother.

They accused Angel of engaging in promiscuous activities in exchange for money and material things. They also alleged that she ‘followed’ a rich man because she wanted him to gift her a Van Cleef jewelry.

Fear amongst Lagos estate residents as huge python was found wandering (Video)

A social media user has revealed online that ever since a python was killed in in their estate the residents have been living in fear.

The user with the handle, @RealOlaudah shared this via the microblogging platform X, where many questions are begging for answers ever since the snake was found and killed.

The user emphasized on the fact that the reptile was big and had been feeding off their domestic animals, but that night was its last.

Sharing the video of the reptile the user attached a lengthy caption to it, which reads,

Since last night, when a python was killed in Dolphin Estate, there are so many questions begging for answers, anxieties, uneasiness, and fear amongst some residents. A snake this big !

We decided to dig further if we could get any narrative that makes sense as to why it happened.

1. The property is occupied by a known young man. He is not around, but his driver is around, and he sleeps in the BQ.

2. The next house to this particular house keeps pet dogs. The dogs are many, as they reproduce. The owners of the dogs have noticed over time, that, whenever the dogs gave birth, some of the puppies just got missing without any trace. Maybe out of 8 puppies, they would see 4 puppies.

3. Behind those stretch of houses in the Estate is the SSS Quarters with large grounds, bushes, and canal.

4. The driver was in the BQ with a weak ceiling where the snake came to and fell. It immediately curled up and raised its head at the center in readiness to attack. The owner was notified that there was a snake in his house that no one could kill bcos it was ready to attack. The owner called a friend of his in Parkview Estate, who has a shotgun with a license. He came from Parkview, shot, and killed the snake.

5. It was also reported that several cats that loitered in ceilings have been missing.

Reasoning:

The snake came from the SSS quarters arena to fetch for the cats and dog puppies to eat. It is not the first time, but last night became its last.
Its destination is the next house where the puppies are kept.

Lesson:

There are houses in the estate that have been unoccupied for so long, and the compounds are overgrown with shrubs and looking forest-like. They will harbor reptiles like this and also help them to breed.

We MUST care about our environment.

In the video, two white men are seen walking hurriedly to attend a Nigerian wedding feeling they are late but they were met with an interesting surprise.

According to them, the wedding was supposed to begin at 6 o’clock but they arrived at 6:05 making them five minutes late and they were worried they were going to miss out.

Recall how the actress gained attention on social media last month with the release of a video showing her engaging in sexual activity with a man.

Reality TV star, Adekunle Olopade has declared that his relationship with Venita Akpofure was not a strategy to get votes.

Adekunle disclosed that, despite not being in a relationship last year, he was a finalist in the “Level Up” season in a recent interview with Miracle OP.

According to him, Venita’s intelligence attracted him to her.

He said,

“I don’t think we both navigated around ourselves as a strategy.” Because, as you may have noted, we were constantly present in the room. We constantly took ourselves away from everything that was going on in the house. So, in the back of my mind, I don’t think that’s a strategy.

We were just at ease with ourselves. Because there was more craziness in the House. “We were like, no, this isn’t going to affect us.

Thank God we found ourselves. But, you know, real-life events, we’ll see what happens as time passes.”

In other news, Adekunle Olopade has spoken out on his justification for refusing presents from fans addressing his relationship with Venita outside Biggie’s house.

Adekunle made it clear in a recent radio interview that he doesn’t want any gifts of any type from their shippers.

Big Brother Naija ‘All Stars’ housemate, Mercy Eke, has broken down in tears as she confesses that during the BBNaija All Stars show, her only source of support was from her fans.

The Imo-born influencer expressed her hatred for her heart in a recent interview with media personality, Hero Daniels.

She emphasized that although there had been two prior winners during the All Stars show, it appeared as though her victory had turned into a crime.

Mercy Eke said that her main transgression was her need for more, but that in and of itself isn’t always evil.

She admitted that during her time on the show, her fans were the only ones to support her, voting to keep her in the house till the very last day.

Neo Akpofure donates relief items to inmates in Warri prison

Reality TV star, Neo has visited his hometown of Warri, Delta State’s Nigeria Correctional Service.

Neo, who spent a large portion of his childhood in prisons with his warden mother, gave some aid to the prisoners’ wellbeing.

Neo posted images from his recent visit, in which he and a few jail staff members are seen posing in front of crates holding supplies, on his X page.

The 29-year-old claimed to enjoy helping prisoners get back on their feet and started the Amakazat Foundation to make sure they were treated appropriately.

He wrote,

“Couldn’t have Visted my Warri without visiting the Nigerian Correctional service again. Growing up and living inside the prisons because my mum was a warden, I developed a soft spot for some of these prisoners, especially after listening to some of their stories of how life dealt them a bad hand. This is one of the projects I’m intentional and passionate about.

One of the core missions of @amakazat_foundation founded by yours truly is to ensure that there is hope even behind bars, that prisons and penitentiaries in Nigeria continue to serve the purpose of being correctional facilities and in a bid to achieve that we have decided to make sure that these prisoners live under humane conditions whilst being confined until they’re reintegrated back into society.”

Neo added; “For those asking, I entered and shared it myself to the prisoners. It’s not allowed to record inside.”

Veteran actor, Wale Ojo has revealed that he prefers working in the Nigerian movie industry, having worked in Hollywood and countries around the world.

The Nollywood actor who began his acting career there in 1986 said that he likes Nollywood because of the vibes and camaraderie.

In an interview with The Punch, Ojo made this claim and said that, despite Nollywood still having a ways to go in terms of high production quality, he always learns something from the movie industry.

He said,

“The industry in Nigeria is growing very fast. . We are just a different set of people, right from the way we work and relate with one another. The vibes and camaraderie of Nigeria is just unique. Yes, we have a long way to go in terms of high production values but I prefer to come back to Nigeria after I have worked in Hollywood and other industries across the globe. I always learn something whenever I work in Nigeria. I cannot even remember how many movies I have shot in Nigeria.”

The 55-year-old actor also discussed how his mother’s influence on his profession and choice to pursue acting were significant.

Ojo said,

“My mother helped with the decision, but she did not know I would take it seriously. I remember about 50 years ago, she told my uncle that he should be coming to pick me up to the TV station– Western Nigeria Television, which is now NTA, Ibadan, Oyo State.

My mother’s picture is on the cover of ‘Wedlock of the Gods’, a book (play) written by her best friend, Zulu Sofola, who was a great female writer. The play was first performed in 1973. I am trying to shoot a documentary to mark the 50th anniversary of that play this year. We are hoping to do it at Mokola, Ibadan.”

Additionally, he recalls working with “Godfather” co-star Al Pacino in Hollywood, saying it was one of his most memorable acting experiences.

“There are so many and they are all over the world. One of them was featuring alongside Malon Brando and Al Pacino in ‘The Godfather’. The other I wished happened but it didn’t was working with Hubert Ogunde in the movie ‘Mr Johnson’. I was one of the three actors who were considered to play the role but they went for another actor. Nevertheless, I was still very happy to have gone that close. That would have been a dream come true, because I grew up watching Hubert Ogunde on TV in Ibadan.

Also, I remember featuring in a movie titled ‘Streets of Calabar’. At the start of the movie, we used the Calabar Carnival in Cross River State as part of the film. I went on stage and performed in front of a huge audience. It was lovely. Another memorable moment was performing ‘Wedlock of the Gods’ in London. In addition, I love the character I played in ‘Blood Sisters’. I also did ‘Phone Swap’ with Kunle Afolayan. One of my big projects till date was ‘Foundation’ for Apple TV, which was shot in several countries, including Northern Ireland and Malta. It was the pay check from ‘Foundation’ that served me for seven months during the COVID-19 pandemic in Dominican Republic,” the actor said.

Taking to her Instagram page, Phyna, who won the Level-Up edition of the Big Brother Naija show, said she is going through a lot of hellish stuff.

According to her, the internal battles she is presently fighting are too big for her, and her mental health is in shambles.

Her outcry comes weeks after her father, Mr. Felix, granted an interview, alleging that she has abandoned him and other family members.

At the time, her father said he thought their family’s suffering had come to an end after she won the show, but to his dismay, nothing changed.

Nigerian media personality, Moet Abebe, has revealed that she can’t date a man who lives in the mainland area of Lagos state.

The 34-year-old TV host stated this during a recent episode of the Bahd and Boujee podcast, which she co-hosts with reality TV star Tolani Baj.

She explained that she can’t date someone who lives on Lagos mainland because of the distance to the Island. She wants her man to be able to come to see her anytime she wants, without excuses.

In response, Tolani, on her part, said she can date any man, no matter where he lives, as long as he is wealthy and can afford to move around with their own security.

Moet, who revealed that she called off her engagement due to abuse, also said she has noticed that a lot of people are getting married for the wrong reasons.

“Marriage is a scam. Women only do it because of the pressure of the society. If someone is so particular about something, maybe the person is coming from a place of knowledge or experience. I mean, they say experience is the best teacher.

Nigerian singer, Kizz Daniel, has responded to viral claims of being arrested in Ivory Coast for allegedly collecting money and refusing to perform.

It was alleged that he was arrested by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Friday, October 13. This sparked mixed reactions online as he had been arrested on August 9, 2022, after he failed to perform at a gig, the Summer Amplified Show, in Tanzania.

In response to the new report, the ‘cough’ crooner took to his Instagram page to debunk the news of his arrest in Ivory Coast.

He stated that he was contracted to perform at the event, and his agent signed a contract which included the clause “no money, no performance.”

Despite their inability to pay due to a ‘bank transfer delay’ excuse, he said he agreed to fly in to perform with the promise of receiving his money when he arrives the country.

According to him, he wasn’t paid upon his arrival but still decided to go to the venue to perform. However, he had to leave the venue after his team was assaulted.

The 29-year-old singer wrote,

“This might definitely get a lot of people in trouble but damn, enough is enough
• CAF didn’t deal with us directly, it was through an agent
• The agent signed my contract which states “no money no performance”
• I agreed to fly in regardless, after so many appeal and of cuz excuses on bank transfer delay with the promise of receiving the money upon arrival in Abidjan
• Till now no payment, not even the alleged amount mentioned
• I still chose to support CAF and went ahead to the venue to perform without payment, but unfortunately my 3 min performance slot was up.
• My team were assaulted back stage and I decided to take my leave
• I am not arrested by CAF OR DETAINED WHATSOEVER
• I AM FINE AND HEADING TO LONDON FOR MY SHOW
