Nigerian International drug kingpin arrested in India

The Bangalore unit of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested a 41-year-old Nigerian national.

He is believed to be the head of the supply chain of illegal drugs in India.

The accused, John Somadina aka was arrested last week on the basis of a tip off from the Ahmedabad bureau.

He has been handed over the Ahmedabad NCB.

It was also gathered that Somadina, was a pan-India supplier of illegal drugs such as cocaine, heroin, amphetamine, etc.

He coordinated with the drug cartel that was involved in smuggling illegal drugs from South America and Africa into the country.

The modus operandi of the criminal was to illegally bring Illegal drugs into the country and then to the smaller cities such as Ahmedabad, Baroda, etc.

His carriers will then supply the illegal drugs in small quantities to bigger cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Bangalore, among others.

“Most of the people who act as carriers in this crime are citizens of Nigeria, Kenya, Venezuela, Vietnam, Columbia and Brazil.

And they are mostly drug addicts themselves.”

They also appointed several people from the North East as carriers. At least 12 of the carriers were apprehended by the NCB from different cities.

The carriers would work for them for free supply of drugs,” shared Hari Om Gandhi, Zonal Director, NCB.

Furthermore, investigation revealed that Somadina was involved in at least 12 cases of illegal drug supply and smuggling.

Investigators said he was also in touch with the international drug cartels in South America, which made it easier to smuggle illegal drugs into the country with the help of carriers.

In conclusion, it was also suspected that he was running a country-wide racket in 2014.

The Ahmedabad NCB has been granted three-day judicial custody of the accused.

Nigerian couple return to Nigeria from Libya, 6 years after they left Nigeria

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Jr. returned back to Nigeria 6 years after they left for Libya for greener pastures.

The couple were among the returning migrants who recently arrived from Libya last week, under the EUTF-IOM joint initiative for migrant protection and reintegration in Nigeria.

The husband, hails from Enugu in the South East of Nigeria, while his wife is a native of Abuja in the Northern part of the country. They both met while he was drilling a borehole in her town.

Alfred, apparently shortly after drilled his way into her heart and fondly calls her ‘’Obim’’. The couple who had their 2 kids in Libya, left Nigeria in 2012, shortly after their marriage. However life in Libya was not as rosy as he imagined. The reality hit him when he realized he couldn’t make a decent living.

‘I didn’t know it was bad. We couldn’t make a living. Literally, we starved. I couldn’t put food on the table. I knew it was really bad when I heard about some Libyans selling people off like goats”

He started yearning for home. Then, he heard about IOM and their assistance to Nigerians through the Nigerian foreign ministry, who want to return home. He jumped at the opportunity. Now that he is back to Nigeria, he plans to get back to his old business and make something out of it. He advises other Nigerians

“Stay home and do what is best. Make a living here. If you don’t have what it takes to travel properly, it’s not worth it.”

Omotola Ekeinde’s husband reveals how he fell in love at 26

Omotola Ekeinde’s husband, Captain Mathew Ekeinde is one of Nigeria’s most senior and respected pilots.

People who have met him are often surprised to find he is a man who has no airs around him, despite his accomplishments as one of Nigeria’s most popular and successful pilot.

He has been married to Omotola for 22 years and the marriage is blessed with four wonderful kids.

How has marriage been with a celebrity like Omotola?

What are the challenges and issues he has had to contend with?

How did they meet 24 years ago?

These and several other questions were answered in the interview below:

Excerpts from the Interview culled from City People by Senior Editor, WALE LAWAL:

Let’s start by congratulating you on that spectacular birthday celebration you put together for your wife, how did you feel with the way everything turned out, seeing your wife being celebrated that way?

It was an honour. It was a very humbling experience to find the caliber of the Esama of Benin and his chiefs, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Tony Elumelu, and a lot of people from the music and movie industry, as well as captains of industries, turning up to come celebrate my wife.

Yeah, I was quite impressed and happy, it just shows me that truly, a lot of people do love her and that’s why they all came out.

Everyone saw on the night how happy you were for your wife. How much pressure was it for you supporting her during the preparations leading to the 5-day celebration of her birthday?

Three weeks to the day, she had been planning the whole event with her team.

All through that time, her activities in the house was zero, so I got to do all the shopping, I got to do the cooking, the cleaning, and a whole lot of things that she would’ve done.

But I had to help her out to enable concentrate fully on her preparations.

Her routine then was to wake up in the morning, take her bath, then her team comes about 9 o’clock and they stay in the office.

Sometimes, they would go out to the various event venues and may not return until about eleven in the night.

So, I was just there the whole three weeks ensuring I give her whatever support she needed, both financial and moral support.

Tell us, how has it been for you being married to a super star of your wife’s status?

You know, I believe our getting married is God’s doing. I say this because I think it really takes one who is understanding to be able to get married to someone like Omotola.

For me, yes, sometimes, the pressure gets to me, especially when she’s in demand by a lot of people for different reasons.

Personally, for me, it’s not a big deal, I just see it as part of life and I advice her the best way I can.

And thankfully, she’s a very focused person who’s always determined to achieve whatever she wants to achieve without getting distracted by people, either by money or whatever, and money has never been the issue.

So, people of wealth and status offering her money for one reason or the other has never made her lose her focus in life.

Yes, definitely, the pressures are there, pressures of fans, pressures of the fact that we can’t really go out and do what we want to do like regular families.

Anytime we step out of our gates, it’s all eyes on us. And that’s why we really cannot go out in public that much.

For instance, we can’t go watch the movies like everyone else. To go watch a movie, we have to call the owners or the managers of the movie house.

We usually go to Silver bird because we’re used to Guy Bruce, so we’ll call and they’ll arrange a back door for us and put security for there for us.

So, sometimes it’s stressful, but I’ve gotten used to it, on the 23rd of this month (March) we’re going to mark our 22nd wedding anniversary and I’ll be turning 50 years old that same day.

Do you guys plan to celebrate that? It’s definitely worth celebrating..

You know, after the Omotola4point0 celebrations, I think we’ve done enough celebration for the next 10 years because I know what it really took out of us.

It was physically draining and financially as well. Thank God for all her sponsors who came to support her brand.

For me, I’m not one that wants to be out there in the public, mine is going to be very quiet.

I don’t know what I’m going to do yet, I’ll probably be on duty that day.

But most likely I’ll ask to take the day off, just sit down with her, we might travel out, I don’t know yet. Really, I’ve not made any plans.

Can you recall for us the very first time you set your eyes on your wife?

Yes, the very first time was in church. I have this sister who’s 51 years old, just a year older than me, she lives in Europe now, her name’s Theresa.

Over the years, I’ve been telling her, look, organize your friends, I want to marry.

Go and find me one of your friends that I can get married to. So, she had met Omotola in a church in Iyana- Ipaja called Solid Rock headed by Pastor Tessy.

My sister was attending the church at the time. It was a small but nice, youthful church.

My sister now came home one day and said, yes, you have been disturbing me all this while to get you a wife, I just found somebody.

Come to the church next service (it was a mid-week service) and I’ll introduce her to you.

So, on my way from work that Wednesday, I drove down to the church, went inside and sat at the back.

I signaled to my sister to let her know I was in the church. So, after service, she now introduced me to Omotola.

I looked at her and I was like, hey, cute, fine, small girl!

But when I found out then that she was just sixteen years old, I was surprised. She looked a lot older than her age. I was like, ‘Kai! This one is a misfire!’ I was like almost twenty six then.

So, I said, okay, we’ll just be friends. And that was how we were friends for like two years and by the time she turned eighteen, I just saw her differently because all the while, I just saw her as a cute, fine young girl that was a friend of the family.

That was it, there was nothing more than that. It was at her 18th birthday that things took a different turn.

She had told me to get her a birthday gift, it was like a week to her birthday then and I wasn’t in the country, I was based in the United States then, and was only coming down to Nigeria once in a while.

A week after her birthday, I returned to Nigeria and got her a gift and left her a message to come to the house. I remember that day very clearly.

The house where I was staying had a sliding glass door and you had to move the glass door to come in.

And when she slid the door and came in, it was like the scales just fell off my eyes.

I now saw her differently from the way I used to see her. This time, I saw her as a wife material.

So, immediately she walked in, I said happy birthday, sorry I’m just giving you your gift one week after, but I also want to tell you, I want to marry you!

She just hissed and said, ‘abeegi! That’s what you guys say.’ Of course, within those two years that I knew her, I also knew her mum and the family.

So, when she left, on my own, I went to see the mum and told her that I was going to marry Omotola.

She was like, okay, fine, but why don’t you let her finish her university. Then, she just got admission to the University of Ife.

I was like, well, to wait four years won’t be easy for me because it’s very risky.

It’s either guys would give her a hard time in that Ife or put her under pressure and she’ll probably give in.

No, I wasn’t willing to risk that. She’s still a virgin now and I want to marry her a virgin, so that’s it. I told her I couldn’t wait for four years and she said, fine, you have to go and see the family.

I went to see them and told them my intentions and the rest is history.

You wife practically became a star right in your hands, under your watch. How has it been for you, seeing someone you known since her youth, transforming into the accomplished woman she is today?

I’ve always believed, and I think it’s my background as well, my parents have always encouraged us to be who we want to be.

They will do their best humanly possible to support us and I grew up with that upbringing.

So, when I got married to her and I knew she wanted to act, for me, it wasn’t a problem.

As long as you conduct yourself properly and respectfully, I’ll give you all the support.

And that was exactly what I did. I gave her all the support she needed, I was there for her and I advised her accordingly.

Whenever she wanted to go from one level to the other, I was always there giving her all the support.

I think that was what encouraged her to go all the way.

Was she already acting when you met her?

No, she just started. Her first movie, I think, was Venom of Justice, and I was there with her on location. Most of her early movies, I joined her on set.

Those days I had a lot of free time on my hands because we weren’t flying as much as we do these days. I would go on set with her, I would sit with her.

And when we had the baby, I would help her carry the baby, so, yeah, it was fun back then, it was really fun.

How also did you get to deal with picking up the papers and reading negative stuffs about your wife, especially in those early stages of her career?

Look, she’s my wife and I know my wife. She doesn’t live a double life, she’s very open. She’s also very straight forward. There’s nothing that she’s doing that she doesn’t tell me.

When I see stories like that, I just ignore them. I mean, they were very few and far between, she’s really done well and has been able to have a scandal free career.

When people try to come up with stories just to rock the marriage, they misfire because they don’t know that we’re a lot stronger than that.

I remember one story that was published one time, I can’t remember the name of the magazine.

It said Omotola’s husband has a baby by a white woman, and I’m thinking, where did all these come from?

So, when you see such stories it just becomes obvious that these guys just sit down and ask, how do we sell our papers this week, and they come up with stories that they believe will make people buy their publication. Really, it wasn’t an issue for us.

How about when she’s playing romantic scenes and stuffs like that, how do you cope with watching your beautiful wife wrapped up in the arms of another man?

Honestly, I’ve never had any problems with it. The thing is, before she takes up a romantic role, of course she gets the script first and we discuss it.

She tells me, this is what they want me to do. They want this guy to hug me or kiss me on the lips, is that okay with you?

And I’ll say, yes, that’s not a problem, as long as it doesn’t go any further than that, like him trying to remove your dress or rubbing his hands all over your boobs or your bum and all that.

There were some movies that directors wanted her to do stuffs like that and she just tells them, no, it’s not going to happen.

In fact, I was on set with her one particular occasion and there was this popular actor who was supposed to carry her in a romantic scene to the bed, hug her, give her a peck, and I was there.

The guy was feeling very nervous and the director just said to me, ah, Captain, please, can you please just excuse us this one scene (laughs).

He saw that the guy was uncomfortable because of my presence and me, I was just laughing. So, for me, it’s not a big deal at all.

It definitely couldn’t have been all smooth sailing. What other challenges would you say comes with marrying a woman of your wife’s status?

The most challenging thing, that makes us argue a lot, is her schedule. Sometimes, especially back then when she was shooting back to back, it was crazy.

And then, when she’s had a busy schedule back to back, she falls sick. It’s standard. She gets Malaria and when my wife is down with Malaria, it’s not fun to be around her.

She’s always in pain and all that. So, anytime I see her schedule, like the very hectic three weeks she used to prepare for her birthday, I could see the stress on her face and one day I had to tell all her team to leave the house.

They were hoping to stay till like twelve mid-night and were supposed to be somewhere very early the following day.

I told them don’t come back to this house until eleven tomorrow morning because she needs to sleep. I could see she was already sneezing and coughing.

I knew those were her malaria signs. And for those days when she was acting back to back, it was tough, and don’t forget the kids were still young then.

It was quite stressful then because I would have to go to the office and see how I would manipulate my schedules and swap my flight with another pilot so I can be home with the kids while she’s away.

And there were times she would be away for two weeks. I had to make sure the flights that I do are not international flights that would make me sleep outside, they would be local flights where I could go and return.

There were times when I could not juggle my flights and the kids had to stay all alone in the house all through the night, But we’ve been able to deal with it. I thank God and give Him the glory.

A lot of people see Omosexy in movies, read about her in the papers and have different perceptions of her. You are the closest person to her, what kind of person is she? What are the things we don’t know about her that only you, and perhaps few members of the family know about?

(Breaks out laughing) Well, she’s stubbornly driven. She’s somebody that, when she wants something, she’s hell bent on getting it.

There’s nothing wrong with that, if you want to achieve something and you’re driven to do it, but sometimes, she can be so stubbornly driven about it that she doesn’t want to listen to anyone else.

Even when she’s hurting those around her, she won’t know. Like when she and her team would come here to make preparations for her birthday, they would be here all day and Omotola would not remember they haven’t eaten.

Because she can cope, she thinks everyone else is like her. I would be the one to ask them, have you guys eaten? And they’ll all answer, no, Captain, we’re very hungry.

And I will cook for all them. That’s why I said she’s so driven she forgets that not everybody can cope with her energy level.

But apart from, I can’t complain about her. I’m really proud of her and the fact that she’s a go-getter, which is not what you find in some women.

They are just comfortable with status quo. Omotola always wants to stand out.

I think it runs in the family, we’re early achievers. In my family, we like to achieve things early in life and do things that are totally different from everybody else.

To wrap this up, what kind of wife and mother would you say Omotola has been?

Well, she’s been a wonderful mother to the kids, that I know for sure.

As a wife, well of course, I gave her the name Omosexy, you should know why I gave her that name (bursts into laughter) She’s sexy, she’s beautiful, she’s a turn-on.

She’s a woman any man would want to have as his wife any day.

The lady in question was dragged especially by male twitter users for daring to compare their manhood to ordinary cucumbers.

In addition, she shared a picture of herself holding 2 cucumbers and said they are well built, well sized than that of men..

But the feedback she got will blow you away.

Some of the men took it a little far as they were clearly pissed by her offensive comments.

University college hospital Ibadan labelled ‘death trap’ after lady died due to alleged negligence

Late Oluwaseun Ezekiel’s loved one accused UCH Ibadan medical officers of negligence and incompetence.

A distraught Nigerian Facebook user, Enoch B. Godson has called out UCH Ibadan, University College Hospital, after he lost a loved one, UNILAG graduate, Oluwaseun Ezekiel at the hospital.

Enoch blames the negligence and incompetence shown by medical officers at the UCH Ibadan for being responsible for her death.

He shared his quite sad story as thus,

UCH Ibadan A Death Trap

I write this from a place of inconsolable grief, sheer anguish, unimaginable pain, and the very zenith of fury having lost a dear one so cheaply and unjustifiably in a place that is erroneously believed to be safe but apparently needs saving itself, riddled with egomaniacal doctors with God complexes, nurses like witches, patients attendants who will not attend to you until you have called them a billion times, morticians who will milk you out of your very life savings just to get the remains ready for burial without caring that you were just bereaved, almost everyone there just seemed inappropriate for their respective jobs – such a shambolic and toxic environment! I lost hope in Nigeria for a moment.

He continued,

We rushed to the emergency department calling for help at about 12am with our dear Oluwaseun diagnosed with Cardiac failure, but it took 15 minutes to have a not-so-friendly looking doctor amble to the car we brought her in just to see whether or not the case was an emergency.

Soon we were asked to pay for so many written things including an oxygen tube so that she could breathe, but getting to the cashier, he told us in no uncertain terms that he would not attend to us until he downs his bowl of amala (biko, who eats amala at such an ungodly hour? But that’s by the way)

We had to scream for help then a senior nurse came and spoke some sense into the glutton who reluctantly attended to us after he heard that the patient was dying. Then again we overheard a nurse say “I hope these ones are here with much money, otherwise they shouldn’t even bother”.

Eventually, Oluwaseun was checked into the resuscitation unit and trust me, that place reeked of death.

A resuscitation center that had only one functional heart monitor to serve four dying patients, no even a single defibrillator, stuffy as hell, very mean nurses; one of whom even threatened to check out any patient whose relatives were not cooperative, two malfunctioning air conditioning systems while every last office there had working ones, it was generally a place prepared to make patients sweat their very weak pulses out.

It should rather be called a euthanasia ward. How patients were objectified was absolutely distressing.

One would have that euphoric shimmer of hope when a team of smug doctors strolls in like demigods only to realise that they came to learn with the patients rather than care for them. What is the point of acquiring redundant knowledge? These people are more used to deaths than saving people.

Oh Goodness Gracious!!! I thought their Hippocratic Oath should mean something or are they just murderers with licence? When you kill someone with your inaction, apathy and negligence are you not complicit?

This grieves my soul and won’t stop replaying in my head.

I held her, watched her breathe her last, crashing; with pain written all over her face. We screamed for help but they were rather concerned with quietening us than reviving Oluwaseun.

They managed to get to her, gave her a few chest compressions in a futile CPR charade, chatting and laughing while at it, and then pronounced her dead JUST LIKE THAT.

We had waited and waited for the cardiologist who neither showed up nor called for her to be relocated to the cardiology unit until she gave up at 7:20 pm on the 17th of march 2018.

This is a fresh brilliant UniLag graduate due for NYSC in a few weeks, someone’s beloved daughter, beautiful sister and wonderful friend; someone’s decades of physical, psychological and financial investment left for dead in a Nigerian foremost health centre.

Oluwaseun Ezekiel we love you. Even though you were a victim of inept doctors and failed health policies, you forever will be in our hearts.

I write this hoping to find some closure by laying it all bare, peradventure it would get to relevant authorities who will amend and enforce the standard operating procedures of this helluva health facility, but unfortunately; Oluwaseun you will still be greatly missed. Rest on in the arms of the Lord.

Don’t wait to experience this before you know about some doctors playing God. Please share until someone in authority notices and this menace is fixed #fixuch #fixourhospitals #ripseun

Married Nigerian woman compares Hushpuppi to Davido, Wizkid & EMoney.. He responds!

Hushpuppi is not here for trolls, he has not come to play on Social media, as he has on multiple occasions put some trolls in their rightful places.

The Malaysian-Based Nigerian Big Boy is known for always flaunting his “wealth” on Social media.

As a result, he keeps donning expensive designer wears and what’s not.

In a recent post he made on his social media, an Instagram user, @ochabutic decided to call out the Socialite..

She wrote;

“Vanity upon vanity, you wear the most expensive cloth, you sample them on social media. How many times have you advertised Jesus? How many people have you changed their lives. Anybody that has really have money don’t act like you. People that has money doesn’t make noise such as “Iam_emoney1 @wizkidayo @genevievennaji @davidoofficial. and many more. Please wake up little boy and stop behaving like a chicken”.

Hushpuppi had a response for her of course, and it reads thus;

“I still don’t understand how you married old women with children will come on someone else’s child’s page that you wasn’t invited to, to come and say stupid things and not minding your business.”

“Now if I decide to swear for your child wey dey mind him own business jeje now, they will say I’m a bad person. If you no want make Ogun kill your papa and your full household, no carry your bastard dirty mouth come my page come dey complain as I dey live my life. “There’s no big deal in passionately kissing an actor” – Nkechi Blessing

Nollywood thespian, Nkechi Blessing has said she believes there is nothing wrong in passionately kissing one’s co-star in a movie.

The actress came under intense heat following a video she shared on her IG, which saw her kissing a young actor – in light of this, she shared her thoughts with Sunday Scoop.

In her own words,

“There was nothing real about that scene. It was just an act and there were many people with us on that set. When we watch American films, we appreciate them for how natural they act, but when it comes to our things, we criticise our actors for doing their jobs well. Acting is make-believe and we need to make our fans believe whatever we show them on screen.”

She continued,

The title of the movie is Bad Market and it was directed by Yomi Gold. I have no fears that people would criticise me for doing my job well. Since the beginning of my career, this is the first time that I would be locking lips with any actor. We cannot be faking things like this anymore. If we don’t play the role well, it is the same Africans that would bash us for not doing it as well as it is done in the western world.”

On if she can ever go nude for a movie role, she said;

“Kissing is the height of it for me and I think that is normal. I don’t see myself ever going nude in a movie,” she added.

Beyonce’s daughter, Blue Ivy bids $19k on a piece of art

Beyonce’s daughter, 6 year old Blue Ivy Carter made an impressive boss move as she stole a show when she decided to bid $19k on a work of art.

Her parents however tried to pry away the bidding paddle from her grip but an unyielding Blue held on and went ahead with her bidding – last night.

The power couple and their daughter attended the 2nd Annual Wearable Art Gala at Alexandria Ballrooms in Los Angeles.

Blue Ivy sat in between her parents as she waved the paddle board to grab the auctioneers attention – while a worried Jay Z tried to pry the paddle away unsuccessfully, he finally let her $19k bid stand.

The evening’s theme was ‘From WACO to Wakanda’ and everyone’s outfits reflected the Black Panther movie.

According to research, women often find well-groomed, masculine characteristics attractive.

Nevertheless, women’s preferences also change with their own mating goals.

Though facial hair might seem to be polarizing, with some women finding it attractive and others finding it a turn off.

Furthermore, a study was carried out on women’s preferences about male facial hair and all and its results indicated that the women found men with light stubble most attractive.

These men were preferred as both short and long-term partners.

However, the women perceived male faces with full beards as the most masculine, aggressive, and socially mature.

The women also thought these men looked older.

Men’s faces with light beards were considered the most dominant.

Given the results, whether a man should grow a beard will depend on his own relationship goals (and perhaps those of his preferred partner).

Finally, guys looking to get noticed and be more sexually appealing may benefit from some masculine stubble on their cheeks.

HOW 50K SAVED MY BUSINESS… A life changing story by Rukayat

You’re so good at this! You should make a business out of it!”

This was the statement that converted me from a bubbly university third year student with boyfriend troubles into a stressed out full-time bag maker with monthly sales figures regularly entering 7 digits. I heard it from so many people when I used to upload photos of my former craft hobby on Instagram, and soon I convinced myself that it was worth taking a risk, so I took a deep breath and deleted all my ex-boyfriend’s photos from my Instagram. From now on, I decided, I would only upload pictures of my bags and maybe, just maybe someone out there would be generous enough to pay me some tintinrin money for one of them.

As it turned out, there were quite a number of people who wanted to pay my tintinrin money, starting from my hallmates, to the girls in my faculty, in fact; the whole school, then outside school and orders from Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, even Makurdi of all places. Someone in Makurdi saw my bags on Instagram and actually paid to have one delivered all the way from Benin. A few people suggested that I open a website for my bags and turn this booming Instagram hustle into a legit business, but I wasn’t really interested. Business was just fine, I was making enough money to even send pocket money to my sisters in boarding school, and I kuku didn’t want those government people to notice me and then start disturbing me for tax or one thing like that.

Being Instafamous was enough for me.

The trouble began when I woke up one morning and started seeing people uploading Instagram captions saying “Please turn on my notifications so you can see my posts”. Hehn? Wetin be dis? Apparently Instagram was changing their timeline settings. I wasn’t quite sure what this meant for my business, and in the meantime the orders kept coming so I didn’t think too much of it. I started noticing later however, that my likes and comments started falling, and then later my orders started dwindling. What was going on? I did some reading and suddenly, I realised to my horror that Instagram had changed its algorithm so that people no longer saw my posts in chronological order, and perhaps not at all. As fewer people were liking and commenting on my posts, fewer people were discovering me in their Explore feeds, and fewer new customers searched for me.

I had just been Insta-punched.

At first I too joined the “Please turn on my post notifications” bandwagon, but it didn’t work. The sales figures just kept falling after each trial. From thinking seriously about employing more hands, I was suddenly struggling to get enough orders to pay my bills. I tried all the social media tricks I could think of, including uploading photos on Twitter and doing the “Pls Retweet, my customer may be on your timeline” thing, but I ended up getting only a handful of retweets and a few comments saying “Nice work!” and “How much?” followed by radio silence when I responded with the price.

My business was dying.

In my desperation one day, I stumbled across an article about building a website for N50,000 with a web provider called Whogohost and I decided to just give it a shot, after all I had nothing to lose. What happened next was my biggest miracle of 2017 – with only that N50,000, My new website ended up changing my life permanently. The effect was slow and subtle at first, with no significant rise in my sales numbers, but I started noticing that more people started referring to my bags using my business name, instead of just “Rukky’s bags”.

When I attended events and displayed my bags, when people saw my website displayed alongside them, they treated me with more respect and stopped trying to price them like watermelons. Perhaps the greatest thing of all was that I stopped getting people asking me “How much?” only to disappear without buying, because the website had the price display and order button right next to each bag on display.

Almost overnight, I found that in people’s minds, I had transitioned from being ‘Rukky that girl that makes fine bags’ to ‘Rukky, the fashion accessories entrepreneur’ and this is because I simply clicked on this link – www.whogohost.com/takeitonline. You should too!

Frustrated man from Thailand batters and kills his sex doll, dumps body inside bush. (Photos)

A sex doll used by its owner in Thailand has met its gruesome end after its owner slashed its stomach open, battered and mutilated the body and thereafter dumped it in a bush.

The Police in Nonthawat, Thailand were alerted by a passer-by about a ‘body’ dumped in a bush.

The policemen arrived the scene only to discover a mutilated sex doll.

He then tried to put the doll’s leg behind her head and pound away.

Unfortunately, he heard a snap and voila, his pretty sex doll’s leg is broken.

#BBNaija: See the Whatsapp message that predicted Tobi’s strikes

There’s a trending Whatsapp group message making rounds on Social Media.. and it’s content has us all confused.

Yesterday, during the Sunday Night Live Eviction Show, Housemate, Tobi was given two strikes.

Moments later, we get to see a group Whatsapp message of “Team Tobi Abuja”, where a user in a message posted at 5:56 PM before the eviction show, said and we quote “One of the organiser and sponsor is my boss. Tobi will be strike tomorrow evening in the live show for telling ANTO and LOLU to put CeeC on eviction.”

“The video will be played in the presence of everyone tomorrow”

Meanwhile, Anto was evicted from the game yesterday night, but there’s a twist in the game.. Ebuka announced yesterday that the fans will be given the power to vote evicted housemates back into the house, including the disqualified housemates, Khloe and KBrule.

Juliet Ibrahim this morning tackled the voting result yesterday, and said it was tampered with. She says there’s no way in heaven Teddy A will have such low votes.

Miracle took the lead of votes with a percentage of 27.98, while Tobi followed with 16.69, followed by his drama queen, Cee-C with 14.19%, then comes Lolu with 12.8% and Teddy A with 8.41%. Cry baby Alex, follows the singer with 8.19% while the singer’s love interest, BamBam follows with 6.40% which leaves Anto with the least votes, a total of 5.28% thereby leading to her eviction from the show.

Juliet feels the voting result was tampered with as there’s no way Teddy A could have gotten 8.41% votes.

A follower of Juliet wrote; “Guys, just know that, that result is not for Teddy A, cos if you check when they were first up for eviction, Bamteddy was second with a little margin”.

Then Juliet Ibrahim couldn’t agree less, as she wrote; “Yes, It seems fishy”.

She further wrote; “Most people were splitting votes. That should not be the case people. It’s a game. We need to be for one person only when he’s evicted. This is not good for us when we know our strength is actually there. We are one and we can make this happen next time. Please no more vote splitting fam. #teamteddya”
