A Canada-based Nigerian billionaire has been spotted in his luxurious private jet having a glass of champagne whilst chilling with a lawmaker.
The billionaire, Akanimo Udofia popularly known as ‘AK47’ is captured on camera posing in his luxury private jet with Senator Bassey Albert representing Akwa Ibom North-East at the National Assembly.
The Canada-based billionaire who heads the company, Desicon Group – which is one of the major servicers of Nigeria’s oil and gas industry – was all smiles as he hung out with the senator recently.
A very terrible incident happened last Friday in Uganda when four teenagers rammed into a trust and died, just moments after they filmed and uploaded a video of themselves on social media.
The Ugandan Police Division have since confirmed the incident, and identified the teens as students of Ndejje Senior Secondary School.
The accident occurred at Bajjo village along the Kampala-Gulu highway after their vehicle with registration number UAR 860W rammed into a stationery truck.
It was gathered that the deceased, who sat their national exams last November, were on their way to school to collect their results which were released by UNEB on February 7, 2018.
“We received the sad news with shock. We are trying to get in touch with the relatives and the police on what happened,” Dr Charles Kahigiriza, the school head teacher told the local media.
Charles Ssebambulidde, the Public Relations Officer at the Traffic Directorate in Kampala, identified the deceased as Vincent Male, Mark Ndugga and Isaac Sserwanja.
“Three students died on the spot while their colleagues identified as Timothy Nyogera was taken to Bombo military Hospital in critical condition. The preliminary investigation report points to speeding,” Ssebambulidde said.
Reports from the school indicate that Njogera later died in hospital.

The management of JAMB has said all its staff involved in the case of the mysterious snake that allegedly swallowed N36m belonging to the examination body, have been placed on interdiction pending the outcome of the ongoing investigations.
The JAMB Head of Information, Fabian Benjamin, revealed that the board was taking Philomina Chieshe, through other disciplinary measures while security agencies were investigating the matter.
He said; “There is nothing new about the development. It is just one of those cases discovered by the new leadership of JAMB under Prof. Is-haq Oloyede. So the revelation is a result of the new regime of transparency and accountability.
She has been suspended and she is going through all other disciplinary procedures while investigation is ongoing on the matter. Her claim was that a snake came into the office and swallowed the N36m proceeds.”
It was learnt that Chieshe explained in her statement that a “mystery snake” sneaked into JAMB accounts office and made away with the N36m cash. The money was said to be from the purchases of scratch cards from JAMB state offices and other designated centres.
A team of auditors was said to have been dispatched to different state offices of JAMB to take inventory of sold and unsold scratch cards and recover the generated money. The woman reportedly told the team that she could not account for N36m made in the previous years before the abolition of scratch cards.
The Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, had last year, said JAMB for the first time remitted N5billion to the government’s coffers with a promise to pay the balance of N3bn, compared to maximum N3million remitted yearly in the last 40 years.
Adeosun had said the disparity in the remittances of agency in the past had necessitated the decision to probe all previous heads of the two agencies.
Nigerian big boy and socialite, Hushpuppi, has made a fresh claim that Nigerian singer, KCee, bought his car on a loan.

A Nigerian woman has been left in a state of total confusion as she’s been put in a place to make life changing decision – according to the lady, her boyfriend has been sentenced to 15 years in prison in a foreign land and he’s asking that she wait for him.

Talented Nigerian music artiste, Folarin Falana better known with stage name, Falz The Bahd Guy, has said there’s been a lot of pressure on him to get married.
According to Falz, when Banky W and Adesua got married, he took a thought about his life and said he thinks he will get married anytime soon.
In a recent chat, the rapper mentioned that the number of Nigerian celebrities and other people getting married are making bachelorhood so uncomfortable and he feels it is high time he also walked in that line.
Falz says,
“In recent past, people have been putting me under a lot of pressure to get ready. When Banky W and Adesua got married last year and it almost broke the Internet, it put a lot of pressure on bachelors like me. Everybody is getting married; so, I think it’s high time for me.”
The rapper also talked an accident he encountered back in 2013 – an ordeal he says almost claimed his life.
He says,
“In November 2013, I had a terrible accident. It was a near-death experience and I was in the vehicle with my management team. The accident was caused by an armed robbery. We were on the highway when suddenly the car was shot at. The driver was killed and we ended up in a ditch. I sustained injuries and the visible scars on my body are from that day.
“I really thought it was the end, especially when the driver died and his foot was still on the throttle, making the car to continue moving. As the car was about to crash, I just covered my face and brace for impact. I thought that at least, one should die as a fine boy.
“After the crash, the armed robbers came and ransacked all the bags in the car, looking for money. Today, I continue to remember that incident and I know that God kept me alive for a reason.”

“I like to keep certain things private and my love life or relationship falls into that category. However, the story that I am engaged to a musician or anyone else for that matter is just a rumour. I am not engaged to be married to anybody and if such happens, everyone will know. At present, I am only focused on my brand and how to make it better.”
She added:
“I was born in Bucharest, Romania, to a Romanian mother and a Nigerian father, who hails from Edo State. I have three siblings.
My father was an engineer and he was always moving from one state to another. Whenever there was a need to move, we had no choice but to go with him.
Though it was fun, the whole process of changing homes, schools and friends was quite hectic. We, however, adjusted easily. I was a very shy kid and a rebel, while my younger sister was an outgoing type.
Looking back, I will say that my childhood was quite interesting. There were some ugly days, but I still had fun growing up.
I went to primary school in Suleja, Niger State. For my post-elementary education, I attended Federal Government Girls’ College, Calabar.
I started a diploma programme in law, but later got a scholarship to study Political Science in Romania. I graduated with a First Class degree. I will not say I was the smartest, but I was very determined.
I had a lecturer who was racially prejudiced and he always made sure foreign students failed. This made it mandatory for me to do very well in my studies because I wanted to shame him.”
She was then asked on how she manages the criticism that she receives on a constant basis from fans and other people that don’t seem to like her.
She had this to say;
“I am not under any sort of pressure. I have always done things at my own pace, which is just fine by me. When it comes to criticism, assumption is the cheapest form of information. People will always have an opinion about everything and I’m not in the business of trying to convince people to think or say otherwise.”
On her current projects, she said;

A Scandal is currently rocking the home of a clergyman and his family because of the alleged misdoings of his son .
According to a Facebook post by Chijioke Paul Okeifufe, the pastor whose son deflowered and impregnated a member of his church rejected the girl and sent her to the village till she gives birth.
After going public, the pastor arranged for a meeting which did not come out successful as expected.

An Assemblies of God pastor in Lagos State, Pastor Charles, from Anambra State, is heartlessly maltreating a choir member in his Church, of about 19years, that was deflowered and impregnated by his son of about 26 years.
He rejected the girl, in collaboration with his wife and shamelessly suggested that the girl should be sent to the village to stay there and give birth. He insisted that his son will never have anything to do with the girl, because his son will still further his education.
To worsen the whole issue, he suggested that the guardian of the girl should look for any woman that will be using her fingers to widen the private part of the pregnant girl to enable her undergo easy delivery, or, the girl will be using her own fingers on her body frequently. In another words, he is systematically leading the young girl into lesbianism and masturbation.
I will post the phone number of the pastor, his surname, the branch of the Church he pastors in Lagos, the name of his son, the name of his wife and the name of his village, if after the meeting he will have with the family of the girl on Saturday yields no fruit.
Meanwhile, the pastor only announced last Sunday that his son will start occupying back seat in the Church for committing fornication, without giving full details of what his son did.

Today marks the remembrance of the Late Gospel singer, Eric Arubayi, who died a year ago in a hospital in Delta state following complications he suffered after taking a fake malaria drug and his wife, Chinonso took to Instagram to pen a tribute to him.

Eric, who was just 34 years old at the time of his death was said to have died as a result of serious complications he got from an expired malaria drug he took. His brother made the revelation to the media after his demise.
He said: “He had malaria and typhoid, which was untreated. It later became worse after he took a medication that had expired and this triggered his liver ailment and afterwards, every other thing just followed at a fast pace before his death.
“The only thing that we had to say is that he lived for Christ. We just want the world to know that the name Eric Odafe Arubayi was for a reason beyond the West Africa Idol show. “For that reason, God would make manifest even beyond his glorious ascension.”
It was an all emotional night, last night in the Big Brother Naija house after housemate, Lolu went on a weeping spree after their weekend party.

After the party came to a close, Lolu broke down in tears and as his colleagues tried to comfort him, he revealed he was weeping because DJ Xclusive remembered him and even knew his name.
He also revealed that he was the first OAP to play Xclusive’s song ‘Jeje’ which featured Wizkid. He said he is emotional because at that time he was promoting Xclusive’s song on Beat FM Ibadan,,he had only N20 to his name.
He later said he is one of the people responsible for Xclusive’s success as he promoted the song before anyone and now it’s amazing Xclusive remembers him.
Nollywood veteran actress, Joke Muyiwa, her son and daughter-in-law all have a reason to be grateful to God this rainy Sunday as they all gracefully survived a ghastly motor accident some hours ago.
The actress took to her page to share a photo from the accident she survived and asked her followers to thank God for the gift of life for her and hers.
Nollywood filmmaker, Tunde-ola Yusuf, also shared in detail how the accident occurred. He wrote on his page,

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and many other christian leaders will on Tuesday, February 13, meet over the current state of Nigeria.
The meeting, to include a special intercession, will have over 30 Christian denominations in attendance.
In a notice circulated on Friday, the gathering will hold at the Old Arena, Redemption Camp, KM 46, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State
Adeboye will lead other top clerics including Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Ministries, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo of the Kingsway International Christian Centre, KICC, in discussion and devotion.
The notice disclosed that the agenda is to pray about killings, cultism, corruption, ritualism, bloodshed, kidnapping and unemployment in the country.
It added that the intercession will last three hours – 10 am to 1 pm.
Last weekend, Adeboye lamented the incessant killings in Nigeria.
Responding to those who have accused him of being silent on the situation, Daddy GO as fondly called said: “I am a Christian and I belong to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) which has a President. Whatever the President says is what I say.
“I am also a Pentecostal and I belong to the Pentecostal Association of Nigeria (PFN); whatever the President says is what I say. That is how to be under authority.”
