Hon.(Barr.) Osi Olisa had few weeks ago, in a statement condemned the dastardly killing of two OSPAC personnel and a civilian in Okposi and Omoku respectively, describing it as “vicious and despicable.”

Prior to his death, Wanny was among gang leaders who recently accepted the amnesty granted by the State Governor, Nyesom Wike.
He has been alleged to be responsible for the killing of several Rivers indigenes, amongst them were, one Chief Adube and his three children; the beheading of Franklyn Obi and the killing of his wife and son; the murder of several APC Members and the arson on the home of Hon Vincent Ogbuagu; as well as several others in and around Omoku in Ogba /Egbema/ Ndoni LGA of Rivers State.
Here are some of the items security operatives discovered from the notorious ex-militant’s multimillion naira estate at his home town, Aligwu, in Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local Governor Area of Rivers state.
Various items including human skulls, arms and ammunition, life jackets among other things.
In October last year, he embraced the Rivers State Government amnesty program. He has been accused of continuing in with crime even after receiving the state pardon.

A notable absentee from the star-studded guests who attended the wedding on sunday was Banky’s former Protege – Wizkid, who although did not give any reason for his absence, pledged to be at the white wedding

Four men have reportedly died at a popular drinking joint at Imerienwe community, Imo state after consuming locally-made alcohol, also known as Ogogoro.
The incident occurred at a joint owned by one Uwadiegwu EzeImo in Ngor-Okpala local government area of the state last week.
Agbara Emma, a community leader, said the victims started complaining of stomach pain few minutes after taking the drink and that the story changed by Saturday. He gave the names of those who died as Chibuzor Nwosu, Ifeanyi Nkwocha, Ada Danganer and Friday Osuji.
The community leader added that Chinonso Amadi, Nnadi Ike, Udoka Ukaegbu, Fineboy Ekeocha, Chiaka Ukaegbu, Onyemauche Igbo, Aboy Amadi, among others, survived after taking the gin.
An indigene, who did not want his name mentioned, said the owner of the bar, where the incident happened had absconded.
He said the survivors are in an intensive care unit of a hospital along Egbu Road, Owerri, while the remains of the dead have been deposited in a mortuary in Nguru, Ngor Okpala.
The Imo State Police Public Relations Officer, Andrew Enwerem who could not confirm the incident, said: “We have called the DPO of Imereinwe; he’s yet to confirm such incident to us.”
A Facebook user has revealed how a young man Abdulmalik Kabir Yaro, was beaten to death by a Local Gang because of his effort to stop the said gang from seeing his younger sister who’s hardly the age of courtship, and this happened to him just four weeks after losing his younger brother to cancer.
The young man Abdulmalik Kabir Yaro was cornered by the local gang and was beaten to a pulp and he gave up the ghost before he could have access to medical care.
This is Abdulmalik Kabir Yaro, a wonderful son of my friend from childhood. Abdulmalik lost his younger brother to leukemia about 4 weeks ago. This morning he’s dead, killed (read, executed) by a local gang. Abdulmalik’s offense which earned him death sentence in the court of this gang was his effort to stop the wayward gang from seeing his young sister who’s hardly the age of courtship.
The gang somehow cornered Abdulmalik and beat him up to pulp yesterday. He was rushed to the hospital in coma and gave up the ghost today around 11 am. This is not in Katsina, Kano, Lagos or Port Harcourt, this happened in the heart of Malumfashi, my sweet serene hometown. I’m devastated!
That the victim was my son while my hometown was the theatre of this ungodly violence, made it even more disturbing. That it’s another crime induced by passion and possibly drugs when Nigeria is debating yesterday’s callous murder of a young man by his wife in a case of domestic violence made it even more tragic and cause for concern.
Where are we heading? Why is murder becoming a cheap option for conflict resolution among the youth? What’s missing in the system that people don’t seem afraid to commit grievous offenses that hitherto, were seen only in western movies? We are slowly inching towards a lawless society for lack of political will to implement punitive laws scripted for our country to curtail and control criminality. Most laws in Nigeria are mere decoration on dusty shelves in courtrooms; made ineffective by a cumbersome judicial system. I’m sure the murderers of Abdulmalik would have had a second thought before his murder had they watched a convicted murderer hanged to death for the offense. Sadly, all they have to stimulate their respect for the law were countless stories of murderers getting away with murders due to a mixture of clumsiness and cunningness of our judicial system.
It’s sad that a cry for justice in Nigeria is a cry that only the victim could hear. Our courts are more like a sanctuary for criminals than for their victims. With money, one could get away with almost any crime imaginable under the sun. Good cases were lost to judicial technicalities that have no relevance to the facts of the case. Only in Nigeria would a criminal like Evans who made billions in ransom from his kidnapped victims (some of whom were killed by him anyway) would battle the court to enforce his “human right”. It should make sense that people are resorting to improvised laws to deal with criminality.
Thanks to the inefficacy of our justice system, individual communities have designed laws that are already being implemented in full to dispense speedy justice. Thieves of all grades and categories are roasted by the roadside to circumvent the cumbersomeness of our justice system in most states in the Southern part of the country. It’s only a matter of time before other parts of the country borrow and tailor the system to suit their needs. The only antidote for such likely crisis is a wholistic review of the justice system to make more compliant and user friendly.
My heartfelt condolence to the parents of Abdulmalik for the tragic lost of another promising son when yet to overcome the pain of an earlier bereavement. Allah ya jikanshi da rahama.
A Nigerian man, identified as Walter Shakespearean Ude has taken to social media to worship American singer-songwriter, Beyonce.
The fan who took to his Facebook page to share beautiful photos of the singer was amazed by her look to Serena Williams’ wedding, and as such, decided to worship the mother of three with a christian song.
Ude broke out in songs of praise to the mother-of-three, but where Jehovah’s name should be mentioned, he replaced it with Beyonce’s name.

The Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has reacted to the claim by an All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship aspirant in the state, Gbenga Aluko, that he is begging to join the party.
Recall, the Former Senate Deputy Chief Whip, Aluko, had on Sunday, accused Fayose of making surreptitious moves to join the APC having realized that the PDP can’t win the impending election.
Promptly reacting to the claim, the governor via a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Idowu Adelusi, described the report as false.
In the statement, Fayose stated that leaving PDP for APC is as good as “leaving Jesus Christ for Satan.”
The statement reads;
“The news going viral that Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose is making move to defect to APC, is false. It is a figment of imagination of the APC which manufactured the story.
“Joining APC is like leaving Jesus Christ for Satan. It is like wanting to die by taking Gamalin 20, or planning to commit suicide by jumping down from skye scrapper.
“Fayose will never join the APC, rather, he would welcome APC members to the PDP.

Nigerian singer Banky W and his beautiful wife Adesua had their grand lavish traditional wedding yesterday, and now, they’ve been joined together, legally.
Banky W today legally married his sweetheart, Adesua Etomi in a civil ceremony at Four Points, Lagos. It was an intimate ceremony with family and friends there to witness their union.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi declared Singer, Burna Boy wanted and publicly called on him to report to the Police State ASAP for questioning.
This was stated at a press briefing today, and it’s in connection with the robbery attack of fellow singer, Mr. 2kay at Eko Hotel.
According to the Police commissioner, ‘4 armed robbers carried out the attack and detectives were able to arrest one of their girlfriends who is identidied as ‘Matejero’ which led to the capture of the others.
During interrogation, the robbers confessed that they were hired by Burna Boy through his manager, Joel Kantiock who was arrested in Zaria, Kaduna State’.
The CP went on to say that ‘they confessed to receiving a part payment of 50,000 naira before the job and another 50,000 was paid to the robbers directly by Burna Boy when the job was done.
At the moment, efforts to apprehend Burna Boy is proving futile but we count on him to make himself available for questioning immediately’.
Well known Nigerian pastor, Chris Oyakhilome has reportedly been gifted a private jet by some members of his church on Sunday night.
The gift is said to have come from the church’s Music and Art group during the Loveworld International Music Award which took place on Sunday night to close the week-long International Pastors and Partners Conference (IPPC) held in Lagos Nigeria.
A member of the Believers Loveworld Ministry (aka Christ Embassy) shared the news on Facebook and another revealed that the gift was from three members – Evangelist Katy, her husband and her son – while other church members sowed seeds.

Nigerian singer Burna Boy has been reportedly invited by the police for questioning over his alleged involvement in singer Mr 2Kay’s robbery attack.
Recall, on 22nd of October, Mr 2kay was robbed at gunpoint in his hotel room, at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos around 11pm after his performance at the “Buckwyld N Breathless” concert at the hotel.
According to a statement made available by his record label, Graftin, the incident happened at about 11 PM on Sunday, October 22, 2017, during the Buckwyld and Breathless concert where he also performed.
The robbers, 4 in number, gained access into Mr. 2Kay’s room after he mistook one of them for room service. They forced their way into his room and waved a gun with threats to shoot him if he made a noise.
Mr. 2Kay, who was in the room with a friend, struggled with one of the robbers, as the others punched and hit him with a gun, repeatedly warning that they will shoot if he doesn’t calm down.
One of the robbers led and locked 2Kay’s friend in the bathroom, while the others tied the singer’s arms, legs and mouth and took his valuables including jewelry, clothes, perfumes, phones, and money. They also cut the room’s intercom (phone) to avoid any form of communication as they left the hotel.
The hotel authorities and police have taken statements for investigation, while Mr. 2Kay is getting medical attention for his wounds. “I was quite shocked when I got to Mr. 2Kay’s room last night.
This was somebody I watched perform some minutes before the incident. Anyway, the hotel authorities and police are already investigating the incident and we hope they’ll apprehend the criminals as soon as possible,” said James Silas, Manager of Grafton Records.
Well, some of the culprits were arrested and one of them implicated the reggae-dancehall singer, Burna Boy.
According to LIB, a guy named Joel, said to be Burnaboy’s road manager, was the last person to leave Mr 2Kay’s hotel room before 4 men stormed his room after Mr. 2Kay mistook one of them for room service.
They robbed him at gun point and beat him before they left.
You will recall that a few weeks before the attack, Mr 2Kay slammed Burnaboy on Twitter after Burnaboy said he will beat up fake and fraudulent pastors. We hear that Mr 2Kay calling out Burnaboy didn’t go down well with him and he (Burnaboy) sent a dm to Mr2Kay threatening him.
Anyway, as at the time of this post, We don’t know the level of Burnaboy’s involvement in the attack but we know he was invited by the police because the men arrested for the robbery implicated him.
A Nigerian Lady, identified as Emi Oga, has called out another Lady, Holayomi Temitope Temidayo and accused her of stealing her brand new iPhone X and her Gold chain.
Emi took to her snapchat account to write; “This girl stole my money my gold and other people’s money more than 30,000 dirhams. Please you guys should help me look for her ooo. She has spoiled my birthday please and please. the worst is that she’s even saying there’s nothing I can do”.
She continued; “Wanted… She stole Gold chain and money with iPhone X,”
A friend of Emi wrote: “Thief like you, your mama dey mushin Nigeria, dey hungry, and you come Dubai come dey steal Gold Chain, iPhone X with money, na God go punish you. you no go hustle your own money. Na another person money na you dey find up and down.”
A friend to the victim, who spoke to YabaLeftOnline, said the Gold Chain worth 15,000 dirham (N1.5 Million)… and also shared with us a picture of the iPhone X and Gold Chain Temitope stole from them.
According to details, the theft happened in Dubai, and she’s telling her victim there’s nothing she can do about it.
A 24-year-old Nigerian man, identified as Nemitari Ajienka has made the country proud after he became the youngest lecturer in a prestigious university in the United Kingdom.
He took to micro-blogging website, Twitter to announce that he has started a new journey – as the youngest lecturer at Edge Hill University, UK.

An infuriated Nigerian man has taken to Facebook to write an open letter to Nigerian girls in Italy, who he claims are the only blacks prostituting in Italy.
Akpoka Desmond Akpoka on Facebook said these said girls should be ashamed of themselves, he wrote lengthily:
“NIGERIA GIRLS IN ITALY
Every Nigeria girl in italy has the best opportunity so far in life to transform from worst to best while living in italy.One thing i don’t understand is, if they are not ashamed being the only black prostituting in italy.
Italy is not a country which the only means of surviving is not prostitution,you can work and you can go to school,all of these cost you nothing but only 4 hours of your 24 hours.
Nigeria girls hear this,assuming you are a saloonist,a fashionista,an interior designer, a school dropout or you never engage in any of the above mentioned,you have a better chance of becoming a professional within the period of six months.
Our parents back home have a role to play over this by encouraging them to start doing something is never too later and our parents should try to know what their children are doing in italy,this will help to strengthen the child.
Prostitution is not a pensionable job and is not acceptable by anyone.Is very disheartening and disgusting our Nigerians dont want to do anything but want to be rich and famous,but how possible is that?
A situation at which 200 people live in a place and only 5 of these people are working and the rest are prostituting,what will be the easy name to identify them?Please lets work together to redeem our image here in italy. Nigeria girls in italy on my mind.”

Hundreds of African nationals and activists flocked to the Libyan Embassy in Paris on Saturday, outraged at the government’s failure to tackle human smuggling, after a CCN report unveiled a network of migrant slave auctions in Libya.
About a thousand people turned up to the protest following calls by several prominent anti-slavery groups and a number of celebrities of African origin, including former Chelsea FC star Didier Drogba and former Miss France Sonia Rolland.
Carrying signs reading “No to slavery in Libya,” the demonstrators gathered in front of the Libyan Embassy on Saturday afternoon, before marching towards the Champs-Elysees, where they were stopped by riot police cordons.
Clashes broke out as police moved to disperse the protest. Some activists began hurling rocks at police, who responded with tear gas.
The Libyan government launched a probe into slave auctions operating in the country, including areas controlled by the UN-backed Government of National Accord, after CNN showed footage of migrants being sold at a location outside Tripoli.
CNN claims in the report, that men were priced at as little as $400, and that auctions are being carried out at many sites across Libya each month.
Media personality and leader of the Free The Sheeple movement, Daddy Freeze, has taken to his social media page to out a pastor who according to him, he worshiped with for more than eleven years.
Freeze says the said pastor cursed him all because he questioned him about tithes – according to Freeze, he asked the pastor to show him in the Bible where it states that the first disciples collected tithes.
This, Daddy Freeze says caused the pastor to place a curse on him, saying he gives him 24 months to live – Freeze then took to his IG page to renounce the curse and even forgave the said pastor.
In a video he shared, he said:
Hi guys, I’m Daddy Freeze, convener of the Free The Sheeple movement and leader of the free nation in Christ. I greet you and I bring glad tidings.
It was brought to my attention today, that a pastor, whose church I attended for more than eleven years, a man who was entrusted with teaching me the word… cursed me.
He said he gives me 24 months to see my end, I reject it! Why? Because I dared ask him to show us where in the Bible the disciples, who are our first pastors and Daddy G.Os, collected tithes.
This was a man unto whom I entrusted my tithes for eleven years, my offerings, I contributed to the builing of his current temple and then he curses me, I reject it!… and I forgive him… and I hand him over to my God who sent me on this mission, God bless you.
He captioned the video:

Yesterday, Banky W and Adesua Etomi’s traditional marriage was the talk of the town, everywhere, on Social Media, you name it.
It was lit beyond lit and so lavish, with many celebrities gracing the event that went down in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Now, here’s the thing is, last year July, Banky W in a chat with HFTV revealed he felt no undue pressure to be married simply because everyone else is, he also maintained that he would keep the identity of his partner hidden till the wedding day.
Banky is quoted as saying:-
“Until I walk down the aisle with somebody, I’m never going to talk about somebody that I’ve been with. I don’t think it’s fair to the person because you open that person up.
Me, I can take the criticism and the comments on the internet and all of that stuff but somebody else that isn’t in that limelight doesn’t necessarily ask for that kind of criticism and backlash and slander and all of that and it’s tough to take for somebody that is not used to it so I don’t think it’s fair.”
Then in August 2016, Banky W wrote on Snapchat that he’d never have a big wedding, as small weddings are the best.. Instead, he’d just invite his closest friends and family to grace the event.
“Small weddings are the bessst. Just family and closest friends.”, he wrote on His snapchat.
He continued: “If/when I DO get married, no way I am doing that huge Lagos wedding move, NEVER…secret location somewhere that needs like 2 visas to get to. Whole life has been a show, not making my wedding one too, no way!. Yall not gonna Naija. Blog me, LOL..i’d rather Jay-Beyonce it, coded to max—world gonna find out after it’s already said and done”.
Meanwhile, Just before his wedding yesterday, Banky took to his Instagram page to share few words about his blessings and gratitude for being able to have so much of them all in the first instance, despite being undeserving.
“I don’t deserve to see this day. I don’t deserve this woman. I don’t deserve the family and friends I have.
“Somehow, God saw it fit to bless me with all of it anyway. In this moment, I am so happy, so grateful and so thankful.

Robert Mugabe’s son recently posted a message on his social media page on Sunday Morning, just before his dictator father refused to step down.
Chatunga Bellamine Mugabe, Robert’s eldest son by second wife Grace, wrote on Facebook:
‘You can’t fire a Revolutionary leader! Zanu PF is nothing without President Mugabe.”Proud of you Gushungo. Proud of Dad. Gushungo always and forever to death.’
Chatunga and Robert Jr are known for their party-hard lifestyle funded by their father’s money which they regularly flaunt on social media.
Just after, Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe made a broadcast to his people on Sunday night, but he did the unexpected: he did not resign as widely expected.
Instead he said he would preside over a ZANU-PF congress next month even though the ruling party had removed him as its leader hours earlier.
The broadcast was witnessed by the military leaders who had taken control of Zimbabwean affairs, but who kept denying that they had executed a coup.
ZANU-PF had given the 93-year-old less than 24 hours to quit as head of state or face impeachment, an attempt to secure a peaceful end to his tenure after a de facto coup.
Mugabe said in a address on state television that he acknowledged criticism against him from ZANU-PF, the military and the public, but did not comment on the possibility of standing down.
“The (ruling ZANU-PF) party congress is due in a few weeks and I will preside over its processes,” Mugabe said.
Speaking slowly and occasionally stumbling as he read from the pages, Mugabe talked of the need for solidarity to resolve national problems — business-as-usual rhetoric that he has deployed over decades.
He made no reference to the chorus calling for him to resign and shrugged off last week’s dramatic military intervention.
“The operation I have alluded to did not amount to a threat to our well-cherished constitutional order nor did it challenge my authority as head of state, not even as commander in chief,” he said“Whatever the pros and cons of how they (the army) went about their operation, I… do acknowledge their concerns,” said Mugabe.
It was widely thought that Mugabe would have no choice but to go after the army seized power, opened the floodgates of citizen protest and his once-loyal party told him to quit.
His speech suggested he was unfazed by the turmoil.
