A Federal High Court in Abuja has set aside its order made on May 30, freezing 16 accounts belonging to wife of former President Goodluck Jonathan, Dame Patience Jonathan.
Justice Binta Nyako withdrew the order on Tuesday on the grounds that EFCC which secured the freezing order failed to conduct its investigation into the alleged infractions involving the 16 accounts.
The court’s decision followed an application by the counsel to Mrs. Jonathan asking the court to set aside an ex-parte motion filed by the EFCC for continued control of the accounts.
The lawyer, Mike Ozekhome, described EFCC’s motion as an abuse of court process.
Ozekhome revealed that the court had ordered the EFCC to conduct its investigation within 90 days of freezing the accounts in May, but the commission failed to carry out the said investigation.
Pastor Adeboye at the opening of RCCG’s Holyghost Congress at the church’s campground yesterday, December 4th said in quote; “If you buy a car with a money you didn’t earn lawfully you’ll be riding in a moving coffin.”
This was also posted via the Official Twitter handle of the Cleric.
If you buy a car with a money you didn’t earn lawfully you’ll be riding in a moving coffin.#SOV#HGC2017
Meanwhile, Adeboye once again, spoke on the tithe issue, which which was all started by OAP, Daddy Freeze.
According to Pastor Adeboye, God himself convinced him that tithing was right for Christians.
Recall that in a previous reaction to the tithing controversy, Adeboye warned Christians against the dangers of non- compliance to paying of tithe.
However, the cleric, on Sunday, 3rd December, 2017 edition of his Daily Devotional, titled: “Open Heavens”, said the command to pay tithes on one’s earnings simply places a demand on the Christian to trust God.
Writing on the topic, ‘Tithing Is Trusting’, Adeboye said:
“To experience exploits in your life, you must have a personal relationship with God. You must believe that He lives and love Him with all your heart. You must also learn to trust in Him.
“The command to pay tithes on your earnings simply places a demand on you to trust God. Your response to this command shows the level of trust you have in Him.
“If you can pay your tithes correctly, it shows that you trust God for your livelihood, but if you find it difficult to be faithful in doing this, it simply shows that you trust more in your earning than in God to sustain you.
“After I became newly born again and we were taught to pay tithes, I laughed and said in my mind, ‘These people do not know that I am a mathematician. If 100% is not enough for me, how can 90% be enough after I have paid 10% as tithe? Thank you very much! Even though these people are not educated, they still want to use their smartness to take 10% of my income from me. Let them try and take it’.
“However, down the line, God convinced me by Himself and I observed remarkable changes in my life.”
Davido is supporting Kiss Daniel in his fight with his former record label, G-Worldwide Entertainment..
Recall Daniel, and his label had a fall out, which saw the former terminating his 7-year-old contract with the label after 4 years.
G-worldwide via a statement is suing their former artiste to court for breach of contract.. they’re accusing him of “taking steps to appoint a new manager, solicit for bookings, and has continued to negotiate and enter performance agreements in respect of the songs from the album New Era, and Evolution which is set to be released soon containing singles such as Yeba, For You, Senorita, Sofa and others, produced under the contract, including using the stage name ‘Kiss Daniel’ without the company’s prior consent and permission.”
Controversial Nigerian/Ghanaian singer, Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade AKA Mr Eazi, in a chat with HipTV recounted beautiful memories of the year, and how he is still loved despite being criticized all year round, particularly for his claim of pioneering the infusion of Ghanaian lingo in lyrics.
Eazi said;
“I think at the end of the day it is still all love. For instance, I’m just coming straight from Benin, which we shut down. What I saw there, I didn’t know people partied on Wednesdays.”
“I was so shocked the DJ had more Mr Eazi songs than my DJ. So after I had finished performing, the DJ continued playing songs. It just goes to show that there is still love and it is just teasing” .
On being criticized for running out of hit songs and recycling old ones during performances, the leg-over singer said ;
“I think it can be some people’s opinion but if you go out, I’m still performing those songs. I dropped my mixtape in February, and the plan was to promote the mixtape. And I have toured the world with the mixtape,”
“In Benin, I was still performing ‘Short Skirt’, ‘Leg Over’, ‘Business’, ‘Life is Eazi’, that is four songs from a mixtape in one year, and I still performed ‘Pour Me Water’. If I can do that in one year, I think that’s not valid.”
Addressing the ongoing beef between the Ghanaian and Nigerian music industry, he said;
“There is no real hate because if we as Nigerians saw another human being be it Tanzanian or Ghanaian, we would still help. We are happy people, It is not that serious.”
On his relationship with Temi Otedola, daughter of a popular oil magnate Femi Otedola, he said:
“It is one of the highlights of my year. It’s been one of the nicest things to happen to me this year. You know love is sweet. At least I have more inspiration for plenty songs.”
“So don’t be shocked that my new songs are going to be love-based.”
Kiss Daniel has reacted to getting sued by by his former record label, G-Worldwide Entertainment.
Recall, Daniel had left the label and went on to float a new record label, Flyboy Inc, under whose imprint he released his latest single, “No Do.”
Now his former label, G-Worldwide is dragging him to court, and accused him of “taking steps to appoint a new manager, solicit for bookings, and has continued to negotiate and enter performance agreements in respect of the songs from the album New Era, and Evolution which is set to be released soon containing singles such as Yeba, For You, Senorita, Sofa and others, produced under the contract, including using the stage name ‘Kiss Daniel’ without the company’s prior consent and permission.”
Emperor Geezy, Leader of G-worldwide Entertainment.
Below is the full statement from the record label;
“The attention of G-Worldwide Entertainment Limited (‘the Company’) has been drawn to acts by Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe (alias ‘Kiss Daniel’), who recently has been making publications on different print media and social media platforms soliciting for bookings to perform songs from his album NEW ERA and EVOLUTION. Mr. Anidugbe executed a 7-year Recording and Artist Management Contract (’the Contract’) with the Company in 2013 and which Contract is still subsisting.
“Contrary to the express provisions of the Contract, Mr. Anidugbe has taken steps to appoint a new manager, solicited for bookings, and has continued to negotiate and enter performance agreements in respect of the songs from the album NEW ERA, and EVOLUTION which is set to be released soon containing singles such as YEBA, FOR YOU, SENORITA, SOFA and others, both produced under the Contract, including using the stage name ‘Kiss Daniel’ without the Company’s prior consent and permission.
Further thereto, the Company has approached the Federal High Court, Lagos in suit no. FHC/L/CS/1758/2017 between G-WORLDWIDE ENT. LIMITED Vs OLUWATOBILOBA DANIEL ANIDUGBE to affirm its rights over the intellectual property under the Contract i.e. copyrights over the songs in both albums, and rights over the stage name: ‘Kiss Daniel’.
By an application dated 20th November 2017, the Company sought interim orders of injunction, and other further orders as the Court may deem fit to make, against Mr. Anidugbe, retraining the Artiste’s further distribution, publication, or performance of these songs, or negotiating or entering any agreement thereof without the consent or permission of G-Worldwide Entertainment Ltd.
The general public and the whole world is hereby put on notice that on the 30th day of November 2017, the Federal High Court made an order that status quo ante bellum under the Contract, be maintained by the parties, pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice filed in the suit.
The import of the Order being that the state under which the parties existed under the Contract should be preserved until the Court makes a determination of the motion on notice filed by the Company.
All and any dealings in respect of the upload, distribution, and or performance of any of the songs, as well as the use or exploitation of the name ‘Kiss Daniel’ can therefore only be entered or made with the prior written consent and permission of the Company as provided under the Contract.
The general public and the whole world is further cautioned that as the matter is now before a Court of law (subjudice), and following the Order to maintain status quo, any unauthorized upload, distribution, exploitation, performance, sales, and use of the songs (from the NEW ERA and EVOLUTION albums), or stage name ‘Kiss Daniel’, in any show, event, downloading or streaming platform, will be in violation of the Order of the Federal High Court.
Anyone who does or continues to do so shall be liable as an accomplice for contempt of court, and the full weight of the law will be brought against that person as a contemnor.
Any person or organization who negotiates, or enters into any agreement with Mr. Anidugbe to engage him on the basis of his presumed rights over the songs in both albums, or the use of the stage name ‘Kiss Daniel’, does so at his or her own risk and peril.”
Daniel has since reacted to getting sued by the Label.. He wrote on his Social Media; “This is gonna be a sweet victory”
62-year-old Angela Nwaelechi has been arrested by the Cross River State Command of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) for allegedly tricking a 16-year old girl, Oma Samuel, of her four-day-old baby girl for trafficking purposes.
According to The Nation, Nwaelechi was caught at the Margaret Ekpo International Airport in Calabar, on her way to Lagos with the baby. Also arrested was one Ifeanyi, a suspected accomplice.
Controller of Immigration in the State, Adeuyi Funke Cecelia, while handing over the matter to National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) yesterday in Calabar, said they were arrested on December 1, when the baby was still four days old.
Ifeanyi said he found the girl when she was six months pregnant and homeless, sleeping outside a church at Ambo Street. He said he decided to accommodate her until she gave birth.
Although Oma Samuel admitted that Ifeanyi took her in when she was pregnant and had nowhere to stay, the teenage mother said she never agreed that her baby be taken from her.
She said she had no idea what was going on and was tricked out of her baby by the duo.
She said:
“Ifeanyi told me that a woman is looking for a wife to her son and I said but I am pregnant already and he said no problem.
Later on when I saw the man, who was an imbecile, I declined the offer. They told me the woman has another son that would marry me. But when I thought about it, I said no, that I don’t want to marry anybody again. They later stole my baby.”
Last month, Singer, Anidugbe Daniel, popularly known as Kiss Daniel and his former record label, G-Worldwide Entertainment fell out, and the latter have taken the former to court.
Kiss Daniel had left the label and went on to float a new record label, Flyboy Inc, under whose imprint he released his latest single, “No Do.”
In a statement by G-Worldwide’s lawyers, Calmhill Partners, it was stated that a Federal High Court in Lagos had on November 30, granted an order that all parties should maintain the status quo under the contract. The company further warned the general public against contracting any business with Kiss Daniel.
The statement read, “The import of the order being that the state under which the parties existed under the contract should be preserved until the court makes a determination of the motion on notice filed by the company. All and any dealings in respect of the upload, distribution, and or performance of any of the songs, as well as the use or exploitation of the name ‘Kiss Daniel’ can therefore only be entered or made with the prior written consent and permission of the company as provided under the contract.”
A copy of the court order signed by Hon. Justice Babs Kuewumi partly reads, “It is hereby ordered as follows that in the interim both parties are ordered to maintain the status quo ante Bellum under the recording contract pending the hearing of the motion on notice.”
The case was adjourned till January 9, 2018.
Meanwhile, the statement by Calmhill Partners, which was signed by Aso Kalu Etea, warned that anyone who conducted business with Kiss Daniel pending the determination of the suit risked being held in contempt of court. It read,
“The general public and the whole world is further cautioned that as the matter is now before a court of law (subjudice), and following the order to maintain status quo, any unauthorized upload, distribution, exploitation, performance, sales, and use of the songs (from the New Era andEvolution albums), or stage name ‘Kiss Daniel’, in any show, event, downloading or streaming platform, will be in violation of the order of the Federal High Court.

As many more people continue to join the movement of the #EndSARS campaign, Nigerian entertainment sensations, Wizkid and Ebuka also have something to say concerning the whole issue.
While Wizkid urges for youth empowerment…
… Ebuka shares his own story of his encounter with the operatives – according to the media personality, sometime in 2005, he & two of his friends were allegedly chased and shot at just because they officers they encountered thought they were robbers.
Ebuka.
He now has lent his voice to the #EndSars Campaign.
Nigerians are crying out over police brutality meted out by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigerian Police Force.
And while the conversations about police reforms are ongoing, we take a look at a member of the force who is a cop by day, and a musician by night.
Yomi Sars, aka Gucci Mane Eko (Lagos Gucci Mane) is a 30 year-old singer and rapper who combines tackling crime with recording and releasing music. He’s a native of Lagos state, is popular in circles of the music industry.
He makes music from the streets and for the streets. A look through his growing discography sees him drawing inspiration from the Lagos mainland, and turning that into music. His delivery style is core street, where he freestyles in Yoruba, over heavy beat.
But he wasn’t always on the street. According to him, he was attracted to the streets at an early age, and left home to go find his path there.
“I was born with a silver spoon but I left the confort of my home to be on the Street just as if I knew my mum won’t stay on for long……I thank God who led my path on the street and make me a better person.”
Yomi Sars is popular amongst entertainers in the music industry. His position in the force, ensures that he attracts the friendship of many entertainers. One of his closest pals is Olamide, the indigenous rapper.
The duo have a strong bond, appearing at numerous concerts together and giving shout outs on social media. His other friendship circle include A-list artists such as Pasuma Wonder, Reminisce, Wizkid, Phyno, Davido and more.
With Olamide BaddoWith Wizkid.WithWith Lil Kesh.
His released records include ‘Japa’ (produced by Young Jonn), ‘Adoyoyo’, and ‘Gucci Mane Eko’.
Off the mic, Yomi is actively involved with combating crime. He is regularly involved in special missions. One of his mentors is Abba Kyari, an assistant police commissioner of Lagos State has been labelled ‘Nigeria’s Jack Bauer‘ due to his effort in bringing high-profile hoodlums and criminals to justice. Yomi works with Abba Kyari, and sometimes share insights into the workings of the police.
“Yomi is a great guy,” says a police officer, who refused to be named for this post. “He is a friend of everyone, and we can all rely on him. That’s why he is popular to everyone, and he has a good heart.”
Once during an operation to catch kidnappers in Delta state, a cop was killed during the ensuing shoot-out. Yomi too to Instagram to reflect upon it. “We lost a brave officer yesterday was shot by a deadly kidnapper in delta state…& was buried today….Inspr Rasheed Sanusi may ur soul rest in peace….If I die today I die a hero cos my 21 gun salute must complete,” he said.
With Phyno.
Being a musician and a cop means he is a prime target for criticism. He traverses both worlds, drawing the ire of the public on social media who constantly question his dedication to the job.
He handles the criticism well, acting as a de factor public relations executive for the force. Once he went on a campaign to highlight Police officers who are distinguished in other fields. They include Chioma Ajunwa, Chuck Norris, Samuel Peters, and more.
As the growing voices of Nigeria’s youth against the brutality of SARS operatives continue to rise, Yomi addressed the issue on Instagram. You can find the post below.
“The #EndSARS is no longer one that any responsible Citizen minded Police officer can ignore, not necessarily giving credence to some of the gory yet vivid narrations but Policing is to maintain the public peace in whatever guise the unrest may come.
From Wuang, Dallas, Frankfurt, Paris, London and even Conakry Citizens have at some point in time, say recently protested against Police brutality.
It comes with the job, it is a sad truth. It’s same as the Doctor that leaves a spatula inside a patient or watches a patient die because the family couldn’t make cash deposit for treatment, it’s like the school Proprietors that wouldn’t allow the most brilliant child in the school write exams because the parents can’t afford to pay the fees, the Lawyer that breathes well knowing an innocent person have gone to jail only because legal fees couldn’t be paid . All these hinge on the individual’s world view, personal background and moral check list.
Definitely some Officers are on the extreme in the line of duty, some are on the job for personal gratification but we must commend the larger percentage who are worthy Ambassadors of the Police Force.
Those that daily defy the lack of basic needs like accommodation, uniform and other kits, up to date technology and equipments, no life insurance or worthy compensation for family and or loved ones in the case of death in the line of duty and with the little they’re given, combat violent crimes, conduct investigations, track down cunning criminals and do all they can to maintain law and order. I say again, a greater number of Officers of the Nigeria Police Force are Heroes without capes.
My simple suggestion in lending my voice to the #EndSARS is this; let us together raise the standard of our society, our collective existence as a people, for if we’re yet to realize every singular facet of the society reflects the whole, as no entity can forever stand aloof.
Justice is a system, a societal measure and as the Yorubas will say “Gba fun Muri ni gba fun Gbaja”. This of course shouldn’t stop the Police from looking into the various allegations levelled against the body, and the need to investigate and weed out the wolves amongst us.”

Following their recent achievements, different Nigerian celebs have lauded BOTH of them as they praise them for bringing glory to the Nigerian music industry and African music as a whole.
It’s certainly okay to choose a personal favourite between the duo but taking a sibtle swipe at the other, seems rather irrational… don’t you think so too?

One couldn’t have possibly missed the drama that was on yesterday between Nigerian male barbie, Bobrisky and his popular gateman, Jacob.
In Case You Missed It, the cross dresser, has dismissed his gateman from his job after he allegedly conned him of N60k when he told him of his ill father, who he needs to go take care of… which apparently is a lie.
Now, if what Bobrisky is saying is true, then it’s rather unfortunate that Jacob became Oliver Twist after having a feel of fame and this, presumably has spited his master, who obviously loves to be the centre of attraction.
It probably may have not been the intent of the cross dresser to make his estranged gateman famous – but Jacob’s rise to fame was a strategy by the effeminate to boast about his pricey lifestyle, him having a gateman and all.
Jacob’s infectious nature couldn’t easily be missed and in no time, social media fell in love with his character and as the transvestite noticed that, he began nursing his ‘new star’ who is loved by many, including his haters.
Bobrisky had decided recently to spice up his paid video promotions by featuring Jacob, who at the end, had the spotlight and Bobrisky was paid to dance to that rhythm.
Not a mind reader or anything, but it’s speculative that Jacob may have not been comfortable with his boss’s actions but he had no choice than to play along.
Nigerian artiste, MC Galaxy, who took inspiration from Jacob, released a track, ‘Jacorb Dance’ – which became quite popular – and in the video, featured Jacob.
Sardonically, Bobrisky wasn’t included in the video and this is where the problem lies as we all know the transvestite loves to be centre of attraction.
Watch the video below;
https://youtu.be/CygujOWkuN0
In his rants yesterday, Bobrisky kept emphasizing about someone promising to give Jacob N2million and apparently, it’s none other than MC Galaxy.
MC Galaxy wrote;
“JACOB IS NO MORE A GATE MAN ?. So guys I came back from Miami 2 days ago and people told me JACOB can’t even work on the road again lol ,, So I think its time to Bless him , now I have a budget of 2million naira for Jacob ?. So I need you guys to advice me on what to do for him with 2million naira. BEST ADVICE WINS”
It’s rather coincidental that Bobrisky then cried out over N60k immediately after MC Galaxy’s post – it’s speculative that Jacob decided to leave him and not that he tried to con him and run away.
To curb any form of damage on his image, the effeminate made it clear that his estranged gateman knows nothing personal about him, just in case Jacob might wanna do his dirty laundry outside.
Crossdresser, Bobrisky.
With Jacob, now under the refuge of MC Galaxy, one can only but hope the singer is true to his words and has a meaningful impact in Jacob’s life and career.
Our fingers are crossed.

Omega Fire Ministries leader, Apostle Johnson Suleman has in a sermon of his preached that Jesus Christ was surrounded by bodyguards who were armed to protect him from harm.
Suleiman said this while speaking on the issue of people who love to criticize pastors – in the video below, the pastor is seen saying that if Jesus Christ was around he would have been criticized by such people.
Suleiman, to buttress why it’s okay if men of God are escorted by armed security men, explained that the disciples of Jesus were armed meaning they played the role of bodyguards – He made reference to when Peter cut the ear of a man with a sword to prove the disciples were armed.
