A Canadian gynecologist, Dr Jen Gunter has given the nod to ladies with smelly vagina, and has told them, they shouldn’t worry about it.

She also spoke about men demanding or expecting their partner’s vagina to have an artificial smell, while revealing that she once dumped a boyfriend of hers, for complaining about the odor of her genitals.

Gunter, further urged women not to feel ashamed and feel they have to resort to buying harmful products that create artificial odours.

She says they upset the vagina’s natural pH balance and leave you at a greater risk of infections like gonorrhoea and even HIV.

She’s had a strong opinion on the recent trends for women cleaning their vaginas with cucumbers and Vicks’ Vaporub.

She wrote: ‘I once dated a guy who insinuated my vagina did not smell right.

For example, he thought my hair would be better if it were straight.

Sadly I took the bait, it wasn’t.

‘He thought I would look better if I dressed a certain way. Again I took the bait. I just felt worse.’

When it came around to telling me how my vagina could be better it finally clicked that this is a form of control that men often use.’

Fortunately I am an appropriately confident vagina expert and I dumped his sorry ass.

Dr Gunter went on to urge women to not fall into the same trap.

She said: “If you think you have a medical condition, see a doctor. If your partner insinuates that an artificial smell is preferable to the smell of a normal vagina they are the one who has an issue.”

Telling women how they can be better is a classic way of tapping into body image issues and honestly in my personal opinion it is a form of abuse.

Dr Gunter has previously stressed that women should be aware that douches are unnecessary and even dangerous as our intimate areas are designed to clean themselves.

She once tweeted: “A vagina takes care of itself. Like a self cleaning oven.

However, it states that ‘a strong vaginal odor for instance, a “fishy” smell might be abnormal and could indicate a problem.’

It is completely normal for your vagina to have a slight odor.

Abnormal vaginal odor that happens because of infection or another problem is usually associated with other vaginal signs and symptoms such as itching, burning, irritation or discharge.

Common causes of abnormal vaginal odor include:

– Bacterial vaginosis, this is an overgrowth of normally occurring vaginal bacteria and the most common vaginal infection that causes a vaginal odor.

– Poor hygiene

– A retained or forgotten tampon left in place for several days

– Trichomoniasis, a sexually transmitted infection also can lead to vaginal odor.

Chlamydia and gonorrhea infections usually don’t cause vaginal odors. Neither do yeast infections.

Less commonly, abnormal vaginal odor may result from:

– Rectovaginal fistula (an abnormal opening between the rectum and vagina that allows feces to leak into the vagina)

– Cervical cancer

– Vaginal cancer

If you’re concerned about an abnormal or persistent vaginal odor, see your doctor for a vaginal exam especially if you have other signs and symptoms such as itching, burning, irritation or discharge.

In the meantime, to minimize vaginal odor:

1. Wash your external genital area: During regular baths or showers, use a very small amount of mild, unscented soap and lots of water.

2. Avoid douching: All healthy vaginas contain bacteria and yeast.

The normal acidity of your vagina keeps bacteria and yeast in check.

But douching can actually upset this delicate balance.

Few days ago, we brought you reports about the lovers who were found dead inside a vehicle while having sex, in the Ogba area of Lagos state on Sunday, October 29, 2017.

Here’s an update, alongside photos of the lovers, who have since been identified as Olowo Lukman Olayinka and Nse Promise Nnena. Apparently, they lived in the same compound owned by Olayinka’s father while he was also a close friend of Nnena’s husband.

This is how City Rovers reported the update:

“The early hours of Sunday, the 29th of October, 2017, witnessed a mild drama around Abisogun Leigh Street in Ogba, Ikeja area of Lagos, where two supposedly lovers, Olowo Lukman Olayinka and Nse Promise Nnena, were found dead inside a Toyota Corolla car.

The man and his alleged mistress, said to be a married woman with kids, were believed to be engaging in sex when the sad incident occurred.

But, according to the new information gathered, the lovers may not have died of voodoo or exhaustion as many have been peddling since the unholy discovery was made.

A new finding, however, revealed that the faulty Air Conditioner in the car may have been the cause of the death of the alleged lovers.

Findings reveal that if the mechanical functions of the car are not up to standard, the chances of a leakage of the car’s exhaust into the vehicle’s cabin while a person is snoozing could increase the risk of suffocation as it would decrease the oxygen level inside the car.

The main thing to watch out, we gathered, is the accumulation of carbon monoxide which can be caused by a leak from the exhaust.

Carbon Monoxide is noted to be poisonous to the blood, but an increase in CO levels in the car could actually compromise the amount of oxygen reaching the blood.

This, in turn, results in the blood carrying more carbon monoxide which ultimately leads to a shock or in severe cases sudden death.

In fact, even in the case of a car with a well-working AC system, the air circulation in closed spaces can be compromised. Even if the air circulates in and out of the car, it’s still not enough for someone breathing air in a closed space.

Additionally, some of the air gets entrapped in the circulation process, thus causing the level of carbon monoxide to increase and the oxygen level to decrease.

Although the duo were reported to have driven to an area behind the Nigeria Institute of Journalism [NIJ], to engage in sex, however, contrary to the belief that she was happily married, the husband was about dissolving the marriage and tomorrow is the new date for the court to hear the divorce matter further.

The young Romeo on the other side worked with the licensing office and he is well known around the area he met his death.

It was passers-by that saw them, in the car with the engine still running with the air conditioner still blowing indicating they did not die of suffocation.”

Meanwhile, here are three more details about the adulterous lovers by Encomium;

1. There have been speculations that the lover may have lodged in a hotel the previous night before their death and when the hotelier found out they were dead, decided to convey them to the spot they were found the following morning without any trace, in a bid not to implicate the management.

2. The deceased man is said to be an official of the Lagos State Environmental Maintenance Agency (LASEMA) and he’s been identified as Olowo Lukman Olayinka. His wife is said to be nursing a baby.

3.The deceased woman, Nse Promise Nnena, is from Calabar and a mother of four kids. But some said she has not had a child yet and in the process of divorcing her husband

Society for Family Health (SFH) has disclosed that Nigerians consume over 400 million condoms annually.

Speaking in Lagos on Tuesday during the launch of Flex condom, SFH’s Managing Director, Bright Ekweremadu, said that the 400 million condom consumption may still be far below the NGO’s estimation going by the rate of unprotected sex in the country.

He said the new brand of condom which comes with a lot of flavours, has more strength and could last longer during the period.

“We have been in the business of condom production for over 30 years. We have done a lot of things in educating people to embrace abstinence with our zip-up campaign. There are obviously sexually active Nigerians who may not totally abstain from sex and this led to our alternative, particularly at this time when HIV/AIDs is prevalent in the country,” he said.

Ekweremadu added that the Society would continue to make condoms available to Nigerians at affordable prices because they are subsidized by donor agencies.

“What we are doing now is expanding choices for the sexually active Nigerians who are using condoms. So we have varieties of condoms with different features to make sex worth it, for those who will use the condom. We are not promoting sex. What we are promoting is responsible sex. If you know you cannot abstain, the best thing is to use condom; it’s safe for you and your partner”, he said.

A notorious hoodlum identified as Godwin Alamingo of lobia town in Southern Ijaw LGA, Bayelsa State who made himself a big time kidnapper – has been arrested by operatives of the Nigeria police force in Bayelsa state.

The infamous kidnapper a.k.a ‘Abuja Daddy’ reportedly abducted Nancy Dickson, a younger sister to Governor Dickson in 2015.

According to reports, the suspect also kidnapped a local renowned musician Pereama Freetown, Amaebi Efere aka double Snake on his way to negotiate the release of one of his kidnapped victims.

He also kidnapped Pena Mogu on his way to pay ransom and several others, according to police reports.

He was arrested along with a lady earlier today in Bayelsa.

A Muslim, Prof. Rasheed Jimoh-Ijaodola, has bagged a doctorate degree in Christian studies at the University of Ilorin. Jimoh-Ijaodola is Professor of Law and Dean, Oba Erediauwa College of Law of Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo.

Jimoh-Ijaodola’s thesis examined biblical prophesies and other prophesies, including prophesies of the late Sage and Prophet, Nostradamus. His research focused on the end time and the role of humans in the fulfilment of those prophesies.

Jimoh-Ijaodola is a faithful and practicing Muslim, who bagged his first Ph.D. In Electoral Law from the University of Jos, while his second Ph.D. was in Property law from the University of Ibadan.

In the third Ph.D Thesis, he posited the end is now and that humans should be careful so that the end will not come upon us as the biblical thief that came unexpectedly.

He pleaded that the world should embrace peace and live in harmony for the sake of the earth and humanity. Nations should be careful of war and proliferation of weapon of mass destruction.

Few days back, we brought you reports of a Married Nigerian woman, who was found dead in a car, with a man believed to be her lover, in Ogba, Lagos on Sunday Morning.

Now, Evidences that shows that they were indeed having sex in the car, has been released by a Facebook User.

According to online reports, the husband of the woman is said he was aware of his wife’s infidelity, but then he chose to keep quiet.

The lover who happens to be the son to their landlord was said to be a close friend to the husband of the late woman. The two were found by bypassers early in the morning with the car engine and ac still running.

They quickly contacted the police who took the bodies to the morgue and according to the police, an autopsy will be conducted to ascertain the cause of their death.

The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, has commended the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for being “an agent of transformation.”

This commendation was given by one of the regional ministers of the church, Pastor Mark Barango, while receiving a sum of N11, 984, 844, 11, recovered and returned to the church by the EFCC.

“My impression with the work of the EFCC is that it is perfect, perfect, perfect. The EFCC is an agent of transformation. Their work is perfect and the church is grateful that the money is returned to us”, he said.

Mr. Ishaq Salihu, South- South Zonal Head of the EFCC, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State handed over the money to him. The money was stolen by a banker and the Account Officer of the church, Ameh Cyril Idakwoji, in a web of fraudulent diversion and suppression of the finances of the church.

Troubles came for Idakwoji when Access Bank Plc petitioned the EFCC about some missing funds in the accounts of one of its corporate customers in Port Harcourt.

The customer, Jepthah International School, East- West Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, could not access N37,000,000 in its account with the bank. The bank traced the scam to one of its staff, Idakwoji and named him the mastermind of the fraudulent dealings.

Idakwoji doubled as the Account Officer of Jepthah International School and Redeemed Christian Church of God, Region 5, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He defrauded the RCCG by suppressing and diverting cheques and cash meant for the Church to cover his shady deals in Jepthah International School.

He was covering up by giving fake Statements of Accounts to both the school and the church. To execute his criminal schemes in RCCG, he forged the letter heads of the church’s Region 5 and the signatures of the Pastor in charge of the Region. He also forged the signature of the church’s accountant and attached same to the August 2017 Salary Schedule of Jepthah International school to the tune of (N7, 129, 128. 78).

The Church denied giving instruction for the payment of the salary of the school. Investigations by the Commission uncovered all the criminal movements of the fund of the church by Idakwoji and a sum of N11, 987, 844.11 found to have been stolen have now been recovered and returned to the church.

It will be recalled that a sum of N36,000,000, recovered from Idakwoji, was returned to the management of Jepthah International School by the EFCC in September.

While presenting the money to the church, Salihu emphasized the commitment of the EFCC to bursting any financial and economic scam, no matter how complex. He reiterated the zero-tolerance of the Commission for corrupt practices and warned criminal elements in the country to desist from fraudulent practices.

“Crime and criminality are not limited to any group of people. They have no creed, no gender and no religion. The RCCG is a large church and we are pleased to have been able to recover the stolen money for the church”, he said.

An appreciative Pastor Barango promised that the church will continue to pray for the continued success of the Commission.

So, a few days back, a Viral Post on Facebook, by a Guy, Enyeobi Donatus made round.

Apparently, Donatus gave an advise to guys on how to properly “rape” a lady. He wrote on his Facebook: “Well for the guys that are interested, before you rape make sure you punch her neck first so she can be unconscious, then it will be easy to get into her pants, am posting out of experience, take it or leave it.”

After his post, someone buzzed him via Direct Message, and urged him to take down the post.. But he didn’t, he stood by his words. Below is what he said;

A mother, who is 6-months-old pregnant, has been forced to defend and reveal why her baby bump isn’t as big as it’s expected, after folks kept bombarding her with comments, questioning why hers wasn’t showing.

Yiota Kouzoukas, who co-owns an Australian clothing website, has more than 200,000 followers on Instagram and had been inundated with questions about the size of her bump.

She took to the social media platform to post an explanation about why her bump looked so small, shedding light on a rarely talked about condition in pregnant women.

She wrote:

I receive a lot of DMs and comments regarding the size of my bump, which is why I want to explain a few things about my body. Not that I’m upset/affected by these comments at all, but more for the reason of educating in the hope that some people are less judgemental on others and even themselves.

For the first 4 months of my pregnancy, my uterus was retroverted/tilted which means that I was growing backwards into my body rather than outwards. Most people with this type of uterus tilt forward at around 12 weeks and continue growing outwards like you normally would.

My uterus didn’t “flip forward” until well into being 4 months pregnant because of the backwards tilted position paired with decade old endometriosis scarring that I have on my uterosacral ligaments.

Basically, these ligaments are acting like anchors keeping my uterus “inside” rather than “outside”, which is why I appeared smaller than most people for the first 4 or 5 months. Now, at #6monthspregnant I’m growing forwards just like everyone else while the scarring on my ligaments slowly breaks down.

My torso is also short and my stomach is naturally toned which is keeping my belly super tight, so I’ve had to personally stop all ab exercises to avoid any issues with possible ab separation.

This is for me personally, as instructed by my doctor and is in no way a blanket rule for anyone else.

I’m perfectly healthy, baby is perfectly healthy and that’s all that matters. Our bodies and bumps are all different and our shapes and sizes are all different too ❤️

A small school in rural India is gaining attention over the fact that all 300 students are ambidextrous.

Data shows that only one percent of the global population is ambidextrous, but the ambitious founder of Veena Vandini School, in Madhya Pradesh, is aiming to change that, starting at a local level.

Former soldier and Veena Vandini School founder VP Sharma stated that he was inspired to focus on ambidexterity training by India’s first president Rajendra Prasad (in office from 1950 to 1962) who was ambidextrous.

“I read in a magazine that Dr. Rajendra Prasad India’s first president used to write with both hands. This inspired me to give it a try,” Mr. Sharma said. “Later when I launched my school at my native village, I tried training the students.”

“We began training students from standard I and by the time they reach standard III, they were comfortable writing with both the hands,” Sharma added. “Students of standard VII and VIII can write with speed and accuracy. Further, they can write two scripts simultaneously, one with each hand. Students also know several languages, including Urdu.”

Every 45-minute class at Veena Vandini includes 15-minutes devoted to handwriting practice, ensuring that every student develops the ability to write with both hands.

VP Sharma also believes that the skill better enables students to learn multiple languages, and has them practice writing the same words in different languages at the same time.

Although it is widely believed to help increase concentration, more recent studies have found that this is false and studying to become ambidextrous can, in fact, harm cognitive development.

A Scientific American study revealed that ambidextrous children performed worse than left- or right-handers on a range of skills, especially in math, memory, and logical reasoning.

A study in Northern Finland indicated that children who are ambidextrous are much likelier to develop mental health issues, including ADHD, language problems, and academic problems.

VP Sharma founded the school in 1999 in the remote area of the Singrauli district Madhya Pradesh. Mr. Sharma claims that their dedication to handwriting led South Korean researchers to visit and study the pupils two years ago, to find out more about ambidexterity.

There is currently no such study or research published online.
