“Augusta would still be alive if not for her mother” – K!ller boyfriend accuses

Lagos big boy, Killaboi, who confessed to killing his girlfriend Austa, has accused her mother of being the cause of her death.

This comes after the mother, Cordelia Okonye took to social media to cry out for justice after her daughter was laid to rest.

She shared her desire to see her daughter’s killer served with justice on her Instagram page as she accused him of running from judgement as opposed to owning up to his mistake.

Reacting to this, Killaboi alleged on his Instagram page that he was done keeping quiet and was ready to set the record straight.

According to him, the mother was trying to silence him in private and share a partial truth to the public.

He shared a series of lengthy posts on his Instagram story as he accused Austa’s mother of only being interested in laundering her image and not justice as she claims.

He wrote;

“After enduring weeks of intense emotions, including trauma and fear, my mind is a bit clear now even though I choose silence all these while.
Now I have come to realize that setting the record straight might be the best course of action. Originally, my intention was to protect her family and avoid causing further harm, but 1 find myself unable to continue with that approach any longer cause I have constant be pushed to the wall with lies by the media, There have been false accusations against me, @cordeliaokonye has been trying to frame me with different stuff including claims that I used her for rituals and that her body parts were missing.
However the Nigerian police has already carried out an
Autopsy which has show no single body part was cut neither was any part missing as it was solely a fight.

@cordeliaokonye acts like she wants justice for Augusta but the truth is you don’t want it, your image and what people would say is much more important to you than justice for Augusta, cause if you want justice you know I’ve been willing and ready from day one, I have always maintained I’m ready to cooperate but only based on the truth and not what you want people yo believe.
How can you say you want justice but have been trying to silence me in private from saying the truth, you want me to turn myself in but not mention the part you played.

It pains me to acknowledge that Augusta might still be alive today if it weren’t for her mother and actions. I firmly believe her mother to be an evil woman, using the façade of a pastor as a cover-up for her evil deeds.

Augusta would still be here today if not for @cordeliaokonye, Augusta might have died by my hands out of mistake but she played a huge part in it and was the cause of everything!
Augusta was ready to end my own life after i discovered the biggest secret about she and her mom.

Nigerian businesswoman, Sandra Iheuwa, has called out her ex-husband, Steve Thompson, after he filed for joint custody of their son.

The couple, who got married in August 2021 but saw their marriage end after only five months, have been embroiled in numerous online conflicts since their marriage crashed. They have a son together.

In a recent update, Steve has filed for joint custody of their son and requested a change of their son’s surname to his own. Additionally, he has offered to cover his school fees and provide an annual child support payment of #600,000.

Reacting to the court document, Sandra took to her Instagram page to criticize him for his unreasonable demands and offer to contribute a ‘meagre’ N600,000 for his annual upkeep.

She also emphasized that she gave birth to her son in the U.S., so he would need to go through the U.S. Supreme Court if he wants his son’s name changed to his.

Sandra, who also shares a child with music executive Ubi Franklin, wrote,

“Omo let me laugh it’s not even the annual upkeep of 600k dey laugh me 🤣 na the joint custody and change of name…..na to drag me to American court be that because my son wasn’t even born in Nigeria. It’s actually the audacity for me. For a child you abandoned and refused to even sign the birth certificate at the time of birth. He even called him evil and drama child is what you are dragging me to court for? What changed? You haven’t gotten full custody of your older children na my only son you want joint custody???? Let me not even talk about the upkeep of my son since birth that I have done on my own for a man who disturbed my life to marry him. Steve Chidiebere Maduka you will have to drag me to U.S Supreme Court cos this ain’t gonna fly here in Nigeria my son wasn’t even born in Nigeria and your name isn’t on the birth certificate. Nigerian socialite, Sam Larry, has been forced to deactivate his Instagram page after he was dragged to filth for assaulting and harassing deceased singer, Mohbad.

Multiple videos of Sam Larry, who is a close friend and associate of singer Naira Marley, intimidating and making life a living hell for Mohbad were shared online on Wednesday, September 13.

This comes after the untimely death of the 27-year-old singer, who passed away on Tuesday from a yet-to-be-determined cause. The talented musician was laid to rest in Ikorodu amid tears on Wednesday.

Following his burial, netizens dug up videos depicting the inhumane treatment the singer suffered at the hands of Sam Larry and other goons in Lagos.

In one of the videos, Sam Larry is seen attacking Mohbad while he was shooting a music video with his colleague and friend, Zlatan Ibile.

Another clip showed Mohbad crying out after being assaulted by Sam Larry at a nightclub in Lagos, revealing that his phone was confiscated by him. Yet another video showed the singer with multiple bruises on his body after being physically attacked.

This sparked outrage on social media, and netizens flocked to Sam Larry’s Instagram page to lambaste him for harassing the singer before his eventual passing. His name has also been trending across various social media platforms.

It appears the heat was too much for the Nigerian socialite as he has taken down his Instagram page. However, it’s not clear whether he permanently deleted his account or temporarily deactivated it.

Nigerian disc jockey, Ayorinde Kehinde Okiki, popularly known as DJ Kaywise’s, twin brother, Taiye, has criticized him for calling him out after he scared Nigerians and diverted attention from Mohbad’s death.

It will be recalled that DJ Kaywise caused a stir after he made a disturbing post about ‘ending it all’.

In an unexpected turn of events, he released a video speaking about the family drama involving his partner, Nelly, and his brother.

Cordelia Okonye, the mother of the Nigerian influencer who was murdered by her boyfriend, Austa, has spoken out after she was laid to rest.

Recall that the boyfriend, Killaboi, publicly confessed to stabbing the young lady to death in a series of posts on his Instastories on Monday, July 17th, 2023. He also revealed his intention to turn himself in to the police at the time but never did.

In the heat of the incident, Killaboi disclosed that he murdered his girlfriend because of ‘pain, betrayal, cheating, and toxicity”. However, he didn’t go into details.

Austa, who was only 21-years-old before her untimely passing, was laid to rest on Saturday, September 9, in the Yaba area of Lagos state.

Following her burial, her bereaved mother, who happens to be a pastor, took to her Instagram page to seemingly accuse her boyfriend of purposefully killing her, as opposed to his claim of it being a mistake.

She said if it were to be a mistake as he claimed, he wouldn’t still be on the run even after she was laid to rest. Pastor Cordelia also urged her daughter not to rest until she avenges herself.

She wrote,

“Your killer said he murdered you exactly two months today. He said it was a mistake but left you to rotten and immediately I discovered your body, he ran into social media to write rubbish meaning he killed you on purpose. If it wasn’t on purpose and intentionally, he won’t still be running even after your burial. There is no peace for the wicked! Austa, kill your killer before you can rest. My mouth shakes while I’m talking, my hand shakes while I’m writing and my breath leaves me gradually while thinking of not getting to hold you again. My mum as I fondly called you, it’s extremely difficult and painful to carry on without you. Night is long and so is the day because of lack of your presence. Please pray for me if you love and care for me and if you can help me to get justice for my angel, please don’t hesitate. My pieces is hard to gather up together again”

Nigerian singer, Habeeb Olalomi Oyegbile, popularly known as Portable, has taken to social media to advise his colleagues to stop living fake life on the internet.

In a series of videos he posted on his Instagram page, Portable admonished his colleagues to buy lands and build houses in the trenches while they are still alive, otherwise when they die, they will be buried shoddily.

According to him, those who claim to own houses in Lekki and it’s environs won’t be buried there when they die, so they should invest in properties in their locality.

He recounted how he was mocked for building houses in Ogun state instead of the highbrow area of Lagos state. He also revealed that he has landed properties in Ajah and is also in the process of buying another property.

Speaking further, the Zazuh star berated celebrities who prefer to live fake lives on the gram instead of investing in assets such as landed properties. He said when such people die, they might be buried beside a gutter, figuratively, because their families will have nowhere to bury them.

DJ Kaywise breaks silence following disturbing post (Video)

Hours after sharing a disturbing post, Nigerian disc jockey, Ayorinde Kehinde Okiki, popularly known as DJ Kaywise, has released a video in which he refutes claims made by his family members against his partner, Nelly.

Recall that a few days ago, his girlfriend, Nenny, took to social media to cry out about an attempt against her by his brother and some other staff that he fired.

According to her, they came to her house under the guise of delivering a package, but their plans were thwarted when Kaywise went to pick up the delivery instead. ICYMI DJ Kaywise’s lover, Benny B cries out over alleged kidnap and threat to life by her in-laws (video)

In a recent development, Kaywise uploaded a video in response to his alarming post in which he addressed the issues and lamented that, in spite of everything that was supposedly stated by his family members—including his mother, who was allegedly slapped—none of them had come forward to refute the claims.

He said;

“Ideally I was expecting them to say the truth as children of God and as a Christian family, but that never happened. If not for this recent Nenny’s case, I am pretty sure they would have kept quiet. During the course of this Nenny’s case, I was invited by the police as a witness to the issue. That was when the police heard the whole story and they were shocked and that was when they mandated my family to go out and say the truth. Hence that is why you are just seeing a video of my mother trying to clear the air after eight months.

In 2021, I had fired everyone in the CCTV footage Nenny put out, including my twin brother, for the horrible things that they did. I even reported the matter to my parents. Instead of them cautioning him and his association with those people, they supported all of them and asked me Kaywise to leave. I cut ties. So I see no reason why they will go to my babe’s house uninvited. If you knew how I was raised, you go dey wonder why I dey even dey show love sef? But that doesn’t mean that I am a fool. It just means that I am a better person.

If my family comes out and says I am lying, then I will have no choice than to drop the voice recording from that day and also other receipts that will shock you all.”

According to Kaywise, he isn’t going to make false statements, since he is a Christian and his family members cannot go behind his wife’s back to apologize after sullying her image.

“If they now need me after three years and are regretting their decision of cutting ties, is creating all these lies the best way to go about it? Accusing and blaming an innocent girl. Girl they have met and dined with, of bewitching and kidnaping a grown man like me. Like who does that?

Fastforward to 2023, you can see that my family are still associating with the same people I fired three years ago. As sensitive as this is, I am not one to encourage bad things, I will only speak the truth because I am a child of God.

You cannot want to settle with your own child at the detriment of another person’s reputation because that is someone else’s child we are talking about. I believe they could have done better,” he added.

Big Brother Naija star Chinonso Opara, popularly known as KimOprah, has stated that she initially declined an invitation to join the Big Brother Naija All Stars housemates.

The TV presenter claimed the initial invitation conflicted with her job schedule and she was unable to accept it at the time. She later entered the show three weeks ago as a house guest.

Speaking after being evicted on Sunday, Kim Oprah explained why she agreed to appear on the show for a cameo in an interview with BellaNaija.

Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, better known as Mohbad’s father, Mr Joseph Aloba has disclosed the dream he had about his son two days prior to his death as well as the alleged cause of death.

Recall that the singer sadly passed away on Tuesday, September 12, and was laid to rest barely 24 hours later in Ikorodu, Lagos State, according to Islamic rites.

In an interview with well-known content producer @og_baba1, Mr. Joseph Aloba said that he had a closer connection with the late musician than a father-son relationship.

He also discussed his last interaction with Mohbad, admitting that he had visited his son at his house and shared a meal there.

He said,

“Mohbad is my friend. I called him Oladimeji (meaning my second) because I’m the only son of my parents. We were close.

The last day we met which was last Saturday, I went there (Mohbad’s house) and we dined together. When I was leaving he also gave me some money like he always did.

I had a dream about him, two days before the incident. In the dream, I saw someone trying to shoot me. I thought I escaped the bullet not knowing something like this would happen to me.”

Addressing what had caused his death and what he suspects, he said,

“According to what I heard from people, though I don’t believe was that an auxiliary nurse administered him an injection, and that could have led to anything.”

An audio conversation reported to have taken plave between singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, better known as Mohbad and his wife, Wunmi has surface online.

There is no time stamp to indicate when exactly the conversation took place, but the singer could be heard lamenting bitterly as he accused his wife of attempting to kill him.

He accused her of acting and pretending like she was sick while she was plotting to use information from his WhatsApp after she killed him.

Mohbad revealed that there was a particular cloth he stated that he no longer wanted to wear for reasons best known to him, but she still put the cloth on him in an attempt to end his life, and he would not stand for it.

Screenshots were also shared from a chat as he continued to accuse her of killing him but did not reveal the details of their altercation.

He wrote,

Big Brother Naija ‘All Stars’ housemate, Doyin Davids, has publicly apologized to her friend, Beauty Tukura.

Days after being evicted from the big brother house, Doyin took to her X (formerly known as Twitter) account to tender an apology to Beauty.

There have been speculations that Beauty cut off Doyin and stopped campaigning for her after the latter mentioned that their friendship was merely for social media and they didn’t have a real relationship.

Man caught trying to use eggs to smuggle drugs to his friend in prison

A Ghanaian man has gotten into trouble after he attempted to give his jailed friend some “contraband” relief.

He was detained by members of the Ghana Prisons Service as he attempted to smuggle what was thought to be cannabis-infused hard narcotics into Nsawam Medium Security Prison in Ghana.

He devised a method of packing the drugs into eggs and resealing them to make them appear undamaged. The suspect afterwards attended Nsawam prison with the eggs in a crate, claiming he wanted to present them to his friend, who was a prisoner.

Unluckily for him, a suspicious prison guard chose to crack one egg out of curiosity and discovered marijuana within.

They later cracked up another of the eggs and found that the intoxicant was present in every one of them. After being busted, the suspect—whose name was withheld—was subsequently taken into custody.

Social media users in Ghana stormed the timeline with witty and amusing remarks in response to the news.

A Nigerian man identified as Chika Habenuchi Amad has taken to social media to behold the fulfillment of a long-cherished desire as he finally becomes a father after a 10-year wait.

A joyful family member, Angel Chidi, joyfully announced the happy news of his path to parenthood in a touching Facebook post on September 13, 2023.

Chidi conveyed the happy news to her friends, family, and well-wishers in a Facebook message that was resonant with optimism and thanks.

Odumodublvck opens up on dropping out of university after getting 0.01 GPA

Popular Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, better known as Odumodublvck, has revealed that he purposely dropped out of Bowen University in Iwo, Osun State.

The Declan Rice singer admitted that the university’s “strict rules and limited freedom” prevented him from graduating.

In a recent interview with Dadaboy, Odumodublvck claimed that despite his reluctance, his parents still wanted him to enroll at the private university.

The artist claims that he purposefully skipped tests, which resulted in a 0.01 grade point average (GPA).

Additionally, he disclosed that he quit school without his parents’ permission and chose to start over at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

In his words,

“I did not want to go to Bowen but my dad was like ‘You have to go to Germany or you go to UNIABUJA’. He was telling my mum I cannot go to a private school. And I told my mum, ‘see this BOWEN, you are gonna waste your money’.

One day I came late for chapel, and they asked me, ‘why did I come late?’ I told them cause there was no water, there was no light to iron so he said ‘other people nko?’ I said ‘sir, did you come here without bathing?’ And they told us to kneel down. I said I am not gonna kneel down.

Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate, Ilebaye Precious Odiniya, better known as Ilebaye, has gotten into a heated argument with fellow housemate, CeeC after the latter wiped off her kiss from the portrait of recently evicted housemate, Doyin.

Ceec claimed that she wiped of the lip stain because Ilebaye had kissed the picture multiple times without leaving room for other housemates who were real friends of Doyin.

Recall that Doyin complained that Ilebaye never had her back in the house and constantly made friends with housemates like Venita, who made Doyin’s stay in the house intolerable because she defended her friend Ilebaye against her. As a result, Doyin and Ilebaye, who were once really close friends at the beginning of the show, had a huge falling out.

CeeC wiped them off and made room for true friends since she believed that Ilebaye had not been a good friend and that her kisses were only a superficial façade.

She said that Doyin had told her to only allow one kiss per person on her photo.

Ilebaye took offense to this and erupted when she saw the picture that had been cleaned. She questioned who had the audacity to do so.

Popular Nigerian comedian Abdulgafar Ahmad, better known as Cute Abiola, has taken to social media to express his pain over the tragic passing of his friend, singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, better known as Mohbad.

In a series of posts shared on his Instagram page, the content creator revealed that Mohbad had recently promised to work with him on his upcoming project.

He added that the singer also planned to get himself a new car by the end of the week, but that would no longer be able to happen.

The relatives of late Nigerian singer, Mohbad, were captured on camera discussing how to collect his assets from his wife, Wunmi, at his gravesite.

Recall that the singer sadly passed away on Tuesday, September 12, and was laid to rest barely 24 hours later in Ikorodu, Lagos state, according to Islamic rites.

When his grave was being dug, some of his relatives were captured plotting how to claim his properties from his 24-year-old widow.

During their discussion, one of the men asked for the whereabout of Mohbad’s wife and said she must ‘drop everything’. In response, a man asserted that she should not come for the funeral because they will collect everything belonging to the singer in her possession.

An elderly man present at the scene added that there are children who earn millions of naira but fails to send money back home. He also warned the men gathered at the gravesite not to put their faith in women.

Another man was heard bemoaning where the singer was being buried, stating that the singer who has mansions is getting laid to rest in a village.

It’s worth noting that Mohbad’s marriage to his wife was not made public until his untimely death. The musician was apparently married to his 10-year partner, with whom he has a 5-month-old son.

An American couple has caused a buzz on the internet after revealing that their marriage has grown stronger since the wife started breastfeeding her husband.

Rachel Bailey, 30, began breastfeeding her husband Alexander, 30, in 2016, when she started over-lactating while nursing their kids.

They admitted that it felt strange at first, but now claims that it is absolutely fine and that it’s not a ‘kink’.

“When my eldest child, Troy, now seven, was breastfeeding, I went away on a cruise with Alexander.

“However, I forgot my breast pump and was badly engorged for two days. I was in so much pain and I was scared about getting an infection, so we decided that my husband was going to try drinking the milk to relieve me.

“We were nervous about the idea of him breastfeeding from me as we thought it seemed weird, but as soon as we did it, we realised it was perfectly fine.

“Alexander said that the milk was really different to how he expected it to taste, compared to the normal milk he was used to drinking.”

“We realised there was nothing wrong with me breastfeeding him, and it would actually be good for him as it is so nutritious.

“He didn’t get a cold for two years after he started drinking my milk and so many people said his skin was so much better too.

“He ended up loving the taste of my breast milk and even prefers it to cow’s milk now.

“It’s not a kink for us. It started as Alexander just helping me out when I was in pain, but it turned into more of an emotional bonding thing.

“I love breastfeeding him as it allows us to spend quality time together. It’s definitely brought us closer as a couple.”

Following the birth of their two younger kids – six-year-old Aria and two-year-old Matthew, the Florida-born woman said she found out that she was overlactating again and her husband decided to step in and help.

She, however, noted that she makes sure the children are filled first before breastfeeding her husband. She added that he only gets fed at night now, as opposed to thrice daily, because she is producing less milk.

“It’s funny because if I eat something spicy, it also gives Alexander gas too,” she said.

“Shortly after giving birth, when I was producing the most milk, Alexander was drinking my milk three to four times a day.

“Obviously the babies are always fed first before it’s his turn. He would spend about five to ten minutes on each boob.

“It’s a bit of a taboo subject, but we wanted to share it because we don’t think it’s bad and we aren’t ashamed. It was an instant relief when Alexander latched on, and it stopped me from being in pain.

“On top of that, it has also created a more special bond between us which we never would have had if we didn’t start this.

“Nothing bad has come from it at all, so why should it be something that is hidden?”

The 27-year-old singer and songwriter sadly lost his life on Tuesday, September 12. However, there are conflicting reports about the cause of his death.

According to some accounts, he had sought medical treatment for an ear infection but, after receiving an injection, he lost consciousnesses and failed to wake up again.

On Tuesday, September 12, the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards unfolded at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, bestowing honors upon some of the most prominent figures in the Top 40 music sphere.

In a noteworthy achievement, Nigerian vocalist Rema and American pop sensation Selena Gomez clinched the inaugural award in the Best Afrobeats category for their chart-topping hit “Calm Down.”

At 31 years old, Gomez and her 23-year-old counterpart Rema secured nominations in several categories for their collaborative effort “Calm Down,” including Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, and of course, Best Afrobeats.

Their song triumphed over tough contenders, namely Ayra Starr’s “Rush,” Burna Boy’s “It’s Plenty,” Davido featuring Musa Key’s “Unavailable,” Libianca’s “People,” Wizkid featuring Ayra Starr’s “2 Sugar,” and Fireboy DML’s “Bandana,” ultimately claiming the title of Best Afrobeats.

An old interview video of late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, where he narrated how show promoters refused to pick him for shows due to statements made by his former record label, Marlian Music, has surfaced.

It will be recalled that the ‘Feel Good’ crooner officially terminated his contract with his former record label, headed by singer Naira Marley, in 2022. The label announced his exit on Tuesday , October 25, 2022.

Subsequently, Mohbad’s legal team issued an official statement clarifying that he left the label due to the constant attacks he received from his label boss and unpaid royalties dating back to 2019.

Following his sad demise on Tuesday, September 12, netizens dug up an old interview video of the singer disclosing that he was not invited to shows because of the remarks his former record label were peddling about him.

According to him, his former label told show promoters that he wasn’t mentally stable enough to perform at shows, so they didn’t call him.

He said he found out about this when the organizers of a show, One Africa Fest, reached out to him personally to confirm the state of his mental health after Marlian Music told them he wasn’t okay.

A Nigerian up-and-coming singer, Kapo Lion, has shared his final conversation with the late musician Mohbad as he laments his tragic passing.

He told him about the depressing dream he had, in which he had a terrible dream about the singer. However, he never imagined the singer would depart from this world so quickly.

He didn’t go into depth about the dream in a post on his Instagram page, but he did share some screenshots that showed he was in contact with the performer as they planned to connect the next day.

He wrote,

“Being faithful in marriage is hard” – Richard Mofe Damijo (video)

Veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe Damijo, better known as RMD, has said that maintaining faithfulness in marriage is challenging.

The actor made this comment in response to a question about marriage and staying faithful from well-known comedian Teju Babyface during a recent interview.

He said that it is tough to overcome the fact that married men are typically the focus of women with evil intentions.

He drew comparisons between those women and biblical villains like Jezebel and Delilah, who plotted the deaths of male characters.

He added that the only way to get over such women’s efforts is to shoot them down with power.

RMD continued by drawing a comparison between the situation and that of an army commander and emphasizing the need for men to remain resilient in the face of difficulty.

In addition, he advised men to pitch in for their spouses during such challenges and to guard against Jezebel-like women.

Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, is dead!

According to entertainment journalist Ovie, the 27-year-old Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter tragically passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

However, the cause of his death remains unclear at the time of writing this tragic and unfortunate report.

Mohbad passes

Before his untimely passing, Mohbad was formerly signed to Naira Marley’s “Marlian Records” but left the label in 2022.

He gained recognition for his hit singles, including “Ponmo,” “Feel Good,” and “KPK (Ko Por Ke),” a collaboration with Rexxie. Notably, the latter track received three nominations at The Headies awards in 2022.

A while back, Bella Shmurda revealed that Mohbad almost committed suicide after his issue with Naira Marley.

Recall that Mohbad came out on social media last October to accuse label boss, Naira Marley of assaulting him and his siblings.

In an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Bella revealed that Mohbad almost killed himself but his girlfriend walked in at the right moment and saved him.

Bella slammed Naira Marley and his label for pretending that all was well between Mohbad and the management.

He said,
