“I am pregnant for a married man” — 18 year old Nigerian Lady needs advise.

18 year old Nigerian Lady needs advise

An 18 year old student is currently in a dilemma, and she has no idea what to do, after she got pregnant for a married man.

She wrote her story to a relationship adviser and blogger, Joro Olumofin.

Read it below:

Hi Sir Adejoro,

Please am in need of advise. I’m a student schooling abroad. Have been having an affair with a married man. I met him summer last year. I was shopping with friends and he paid for everything.

He’s like a best friend to me we facetime always, and do facetime sex. He takes my advise seriously in his life, I supported his businesses in growing… I found out I’m pregnant by way of urine tests. I’m 2 months gone i think. It’s illegal to do abortions in the city I am. I haven’t told him yet.

A part of me wants to keep it. He has expressed the need for wanting a son. He has all daughters with his wife in Nigeria. I really love him. What if it’s a boy? I’m catholic anyways and it’s a sin to abort.

I have never thought about being a second wife but he doesn’t love his wife. He loves me. He just copes with her because they grew up together. He cries when we have sex. Like tears of joy.

Please advise me. I told my sister who wants me to come to Nigeria to abort it. Why can’t I have the man of my dreams? Please I’m an adult. Don’t bring the she’s young comments.

Lagos Government Asks CP To Produce Cobbler Detained For Years

The Lagos State Ministry of Justice, Office of the Public Defender, has asked the state High Court to prevail on the state police command to produce a cobbler, Shakoor Zaid.

lagos government asks cp produce cobbler detained

Zaid has been in the custody of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the command in Ikeja for over two years without being allowed access to his mother and relatives or charged to court.

The OPD, in a suit filed before the Lagos State High Court on behalf of Shakoor sought an order compelling the Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi to “unconditionally” admit him to bail.

According to PUNCH Metro, the 33-year-old was arrested on April 17, 2015, in his residence on Afolabi Alasia Street, Ijora Badia, by SARS operatives who raided the area after a fight. The police accused him of participating in the fight.

In the March 22, 2017, report, Shakoor’s mother, Jumoke Zaid, explained how one Sergeant Godwin Ogedengbe, the Investigating Police Officer, and his colleagues, prevented her from seeing her son.

She alleged that the operatives collected N2,000 from her each time he visited the SARS office in anticipation of speaking with Shakoor.

She said:

“Shakoor was arrested inside his apartment. His brother and I went to the SARS office in Ikeja. We met one policeman, Ade, aka Bullet. He said Ogedengbe was investigating the case and that guns and cutlasses were recovered from the scene of the fight. Bullet said somebody told them to waste Shakoor.

I went there several times, but they didn’t allow me to see him. Relatives of other suspects arrested with Shakoor were allowed to see them. Each time I went there, I paid N2,000 for his feeding. At a point, they stopped collecting money from me.

On June 26, 2015, the six other persons were arraigned in court. I asked Ogedengbe why my son was not arraigned, but he did not give me any answer. At a point, he started avoiding me. He told me to meet his uncle, Mr. Rilwan Zaid, if I wanted my son to be freed.”

However, the uncle had denied instigating Shakoor’s arrest. After failed attempts to see her son, the woman said he had petitioned the OPD in 2016 and a lawyer was assigned to handle the case.

She, however, said the lawyer was indifferent to the matter.

It was gathered that the OPD invited Jumoke after The PUNCH’s report and another lawyer, O. A. Azeez, was assigned to handle the matter.

“2019 Election will not hold” — Apostle Suleman

Senior Pastor of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide (OFM), Apostle Johnson Suleman, has prophesied that unless Nigerians pray for the country, the 2019 election will not hold.

The cleric, in a chat with journalists in his church, prophesied saying: “Tell Nigerians who wish to see democracy sustained, to pray for our leaders and work for peace; tell the leaders too to pray and be honest with the people they are serving, otherwise, elections may not hold in Nigeria in 2019. That is what God has shown me.”

Apostle Suleman has been credited for many precise prophecies made in years past.

The self-acclaimed ‘Oracle of God’ is the first pastor in Nigeria that prophesied in a December 2013 prophecy, the crowning of former Central Bank of Nigeria’s governor, Alhaji Lamido Sanusi Lamido, as Emir of Kano.

He equally foresaw the death of a serving cabinet member in Nigeria and asked for special prayer during a church service in January 2015.

Likewise, during his ministry’s ‘Fire and Miracle Night’ programme in August 2015, the servant of God foretold the trouble in the last Kogi State governorship election that brought in Governor Yahaya Bello and warned of ‘a death’.

Also, as Edo State prepared for the September 10th 2016 governorship election, Apostle Suleman at a church service said he did not see the election holding on the appointed date.

Subsequently, the INEC shifted the election to September 28 2016, citing security challenges.

“I see presidents being removed in Africa and presidents being installed”, the man of God declared in his 2016 prophecies.

In that declaration, Suleman also asked for vigilance as he said he saw kidnappers entering school, adding that “President Buhari’s health needed serious attention; that America and China would have major crisis.”

“I gave my boyfriend N500k, has he duped me?”

From Nairaland:

My bf and I have been together for a while now and planning on having our marriage introduction by November and marriage proper early next year.

I am an independent woman with a gud job. As a matter of fact, ive never made any financial request from this guy though he buys gift for me without requesting. He is doing well financially too, he runs a recycling factory while I work with a manufacturing company.

Things are working well between us since the relationship started untill recently when we had some business deals together ( my opinion though) cos I don’t understand him anymore. He was broke at that time and needed to get some materials which he never budgeted for.

He requested that I invest in his company by paying for those materials since they’re coming cheap and he doesn’t have enough to get them at that time and wouldn’t want to loose the opportunity. I consented to the idea cos I knew he’s business was very lucrative and that I’ll get my money back with interest.

He promised to be paying me a weekly dividend so I thought of giving 1 million naira. I made an instant transfer of 500k to his account as dts the maximum I can do daily without a token and I wasn’t with it then.

The 2nd day dt I was suppose to send the remaining money, some issues occurred in his company in my presence. He had some major issues with some of the equipments in his factory. He had to stop productions for some days. So i with held the balance as it wont be neccesary since there was no production.

While repairs were ongoing? I had to liase with some of my junior colleagues at work who are engineers to help my bf cos I found out he’s engineer’s aren’t capable of handling the situation as dts the first time he would experience such. As God will have it operations started back in few days with the support of my engineers.

My concern now is since things went back to normal in my bf compan’ he’s yet to keep to his promise of the weekly dividend he said I would be receiving from the investment. As a matter of fact , things has changed between us cos he no longer call and hardly pick my calls.

I communicate with him mostly thru SMS now since he wouldn’t pick my calls. I’d sent messages to him to return my money without interest and he has promised to pay back with no time and date of when he’s going to pay back.

I even had plans of going to his place today since i’m off work so as to force him to go to the bank with him so that I can get my money but he left the house early in the morning with excuses that he has a place to go and would return to my place after leaving there.

Please guys how best can I get this money back from him cos I know he has it but playing pranks on me. I don’t mind loosing my relationship with him as I don’t trust him any longer.

What Donald Trump told President Buhari in New York yesterday

US President Donald Trump has lauded Nigeria for its handling of the 2014 outbreak of the Ebola virus disease. Trump on Wednesday also said there’s “tremendous business potential” in Africa, revealing that his wealthy friends were investing on the continent.

He said this while hosting President Muhammadu Buhari and other African leaders to a working lunch on the sidelines of the 72nd UN general assembly in New York.

Trump said: “I’m greatly honoured to be joined by leaders of Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Namibia, Senegal, Uganda and South Africa. In particular, I want to thank President Condé, who is representing the African Union.

“In this room, I see partners for promoting prosperity and peace on a range of economic, humanitarian and security issues.

“We hope to extend our economic partnerships with countries who are committed to self-reliance and to fostering opportunities for job creation in both Africa and the United States.

“Africa has tremendous business potential. I have so many friends going to your countries, trying to get rich. I congratulate you.

“They’re spending a lot of money. But it does – it has tremendous business potential and representing huge amounts of different markets. And for American firms it’s really become a place that they have to go – that they want to go.

“Six of the world’s ten fastest-growing economies are in Africa. Increasing American trade and investment across diverse industries – including agriculture, energy, transportation, healthcare, travel, and tourism – will further transform lives throughout the continent.

“Africa, I have to say, is a continent of tremendous potential. The outlook is bright. I look forward to hearing from you and your advice during the meal.

“I really want to congratulate you – growing very fast economically and in every other way. You’ve done a terrific job, you’ve had some tremendous obstacles placed in your path, but you have done really an absolutely incredible job.”

Trump pledged that the US would partner with African countries and organisations, like the African Union, leading successful efforts to end violence to prevent the spread of terrorism and to respond to humanitarian crises.

“I commend your troops currently serving in the field. Very brave. Very, very brave what they’re going through. But we cannot have prosperity if we’re not healthy,” he said.

“We will continue our partnership on critical health initiatives. Uganda has made incredible strides in the battle against HIV/AIDS. In Guinea and Nigeria, you fought a horrifying Ebola outbreak.

“Namibia’s health system is increasingly self-sufficient. My Secretary of Health and Human Services will be traveling to Africa to promote our Global Health Security Agenda.”

The US president, however, regretted that too many people were suffering from conflict in Africa, pointing out the Central African Republic, the Congo, Libya, Mali, Somalia and South Sudan, among others, “were going through dangerous times”.

He noted that terrorist groups, such as ISIS, al-Shabaab, Boko Haram, and al Qaeda threaten African peace, adding that the US was proud to work with African leaders toward eradicating terrorist safe havens, to cut off their finances, and to discredit their depraved ideology.

“And a number of you have told me – actually, last night – that we’ve been doing a very good job over the last six or seven months in particular,” he said.

“I was completely burnt and left to die” – 22 year old burn survivor shares emotional story

A 21-year-old aspiring model, Desire Benjamin Chinenye sometimes last year got her skin peeled off after she was involved in an indoor gas explosion.

The incident left her completely burnt and almost to the point of death.

Here’s what happened;

“She woke up at about 6am to boil water to bathe for work, she turned on the gas and struck the matches, it didn’t catch, then she did it again, it was then we heard the explosion.

The fire threw her against the door, and then blocked her exit, according to her, she didn’t know the force dat got her too her feet, and so she entered the fire and rushed out of the kitchen to the room, the fire chased her out, the rug where she was standing on got burnt.”

‘Her family members who had been asleep when the explosion happened jumped out of bed and amidst the chaos, did the first logical thing that came to mind: grabbed a few buckets of water from the bathroom and threw on her. They succeeded in quenching the fire, but by this time, c was so badly burnt and had passed out. ‘

The first hospital they took her to refused to offer any treatment at all. Not because they didn’t want to but because they simply felt there was no point. She was as good as gone- a smouldering remainder of the bubbly girl that Desire had been.

Fast forward to yesterday 20th of September, A new Chinenye, who has now healed and learned how to embrace her scars, shared her story with the 234Stars on what really happened, how she survived and how this incident brought out a new her.

‘I had a friend in the hospital that we used to pray together. One night, her line went flat (ie the electrocardiogram which monitored her heart beat pinged off, signifying that she had stopped breathing).’ Another pointer that the very next second wasn’t guaranteed- she too could simply stop breathing at anytime. But she didn’t.

She endured the pain, sometimes bursting into maniacal laughter from excessive pain that her brain could not properly process. Eventually, by some sort of miracle, the burns healed enough for her to start learning how to walk again before being certified fit to leave the hospital.

How she looks like now.

It was after I was discharged that the true reality of what happened to me fully dawned on me. Having strangers walk up to me at the mall and tell me to cover up because my scars were “unsightly”, and not being able to go back to work because I felt people will concentrate on My scars more than they would the product I was trying to sell was a constant occurrence and I found herself having to stay indoors for long hours- my slowly healing skin was in danger of itching and getting infected if I was ever in a humid environment anyway.

“That can’t be me,” “I can’t sit in the house because people are not comfortable with how I am. The scars on my body are a sign of victory. I overcame what tried to consume me and I should be proud of it.”

“Some people have scars even if not physically, they have emotional scars. If I’m able to reach out to them, encourage them and try to help them gain back their confidence in anyway that I can, I believe that would be fine.”

Chinenye turns 23 in a couple of weeks! The new her might really be what would help another survivor scale through, if not her scars atleast her story!

YBL reader receives N10,000 from another reader for just a comment she made..

So, yesterday, YBL made a post about a Nigerian Lady who urged her fellow ladies to use their private parts to get what they want.

According to her, using your private part can either make you broke, rich or famous if you know what you’re doing.

She further advised ladies not to settle for less, but aim high.

In her words, “Use your punani wisely, it’ll either make you broke, famous or rich, Don’t just open your legs for fried rice, chicken and salad”.

Now, a YBL Reader, Chinelo Goodluck Nworah who felt her advise was a foolish one, countered her, She left a reply on the post, and said:

“Why not use your punani only for a man who values it….its worth more than any amount of money..Every thing we do has repercussions, it might be fun now but one day that punani will expire and you will now tell me how to make money….A man who values that punani will forever value it whether its smooth or rough…but money stops coming when its rough…Let’s be wise”

Immediately, another reader, Ugochukwu Nwadike appluaded her comments, and blessed her with N10,000, for being a smart ass.. Other readers also gave sent her airtime, ranging from N1,500 to N2,000.
