Leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has claimed in a new statement that the individual presently ruling the country is not President Buhari but a Sudanese national who had undergone plastic surgery in order to look like the President.
The IPOB leader made this claim while speaking to members of his group yesterday September 3rd.
“I can stand and prove who I am but Buhari cannot do the same thing. The man you are looking at on the television is not Buhari. His name is Jubril, he is from Sudan. After extensive plastic surgery, they brought him back. They taught him Buhari’s mannerisms and he came back deceiving all of you. He cannot deceive Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB,” the IPOB leader said.
The secessionist group leader also debunked a report by Sun newspaper that he is currently on the run:
“It wasn’t my wish to speak but the more I keep quiet the more they keep lying. I am under oath to defend IPOB and I will do so. We can never, ever surrender. Don’t mind the lies they are feeding you. People want to sell their newspapers, they fabricate nonsense.” he said
In an exclusive interview with Women of Rubies, a smoked-fish seller, Monica Nwilubabari Tanee who was all over the internet last week when she posted a picture of herself smoking cat fish on her Facebook page, a business she started while serving in Ondo state not minding the stress, humiliation and low patronage, has disclosed that she’s proud of what she does.
The beautiful young lady who is a graduate of Chemical Engineering from the University of Portharcourt, almost gave up on the business after her service year but later kicked it off with encouragement from her business partner, Yinyegha Tiki who owns the firewood oven she uses in smoking fish.
Monica’s biggest Inspiration is her late dad who passed away last month, in her words: “My dad didn’t have any formal education but he gave me my first degree, I will do all I can to make sure I don’t disappoint him”.

I started my catfish business during my NYSC year, at 32 Artillery Brigade Barack Akure, Ondo state where I did my first primary assignment(ppa) . I studied how to trained fish, I trained some batches of catfish with a fellow youth corp members before my passing out. We harvested and took the fresh catfish to (TIkIFISH ) for his unique processing method, which is not common in Rivers state, that guarantees sand and smoke-free, tasty smoked fish. So I decided to partner with him.
I once had a fish pond…
The fish pond was in Ondo state, I rented it for a period. But because of the nature of thief and pest, I decided not to continue since I was done with my service year. it was really a wonderful experience
Challenges
The high rate of waybill from Ondo state, and poor rate of my customers not paying their debt at an agreed date. There are also series of harassment from male customers.
Other project and activities
I plan to attain professional certification in Chemical Engineering. I am also into beads making and accessories.
The reception so far…
It has been very fine and encouraging, I have a good relationship with my customers and they truly believe in my business and also refer people to me from all over the country.
On giving up
There have been times when I felt like giving up. For instance, when friends see me as a fishmonger after graduating as a Chemical Engineer. Last month, I lost my beloved daddy and I felt I already lost everything in life, living a life without parents that gave me inspiration. All the same, I thank God for everything.
How I market my smoked fish…
No, I don’t have a shop for now. I market my business through words of mouth to friends, family, neighbours and I also make use of the social media. I also go out to the market to network.
Inspiration
I got my inspiration from my dad, he is my role model in life. He was able to make it in life without higher education. He was able to give me my first degree. And I believe by the grace of God I can do better
through Christ that strengthens me.

Self-determination is one major key they should work with. As for me, I told myself I’ll not stay idle after my service year, even though what I’m doing is not related to my field of study. My parents have tried a lot for me and it is high time I start doing something to take care of myself, so I can stop depending on them because my younger ones are still in school. At the point where I took the decision, I remember this portion in the Bible (2 Chronicles 2:27 and Deuteronomy 28:12). Secondly, let them rise up and be self-employed in any little entrepreneur’s skills they have. For those that are currently jobless, I’ll encourage you to pick a business or skill of your choice and start working on it, don’t be ashamed. Seriously speaking, hard work pays especially for a woman, you will gain respect from family, friends and even your husband. During a time like this, they will meet different kinds of person on their way up, some are ready to bring you down with discouragement and bad advice. Who you choose as a mentor and the people that give you
advice, matters a lot. Also listening to your spirit is one thing they should not overlook.

Remembering Pastor Bimbo (Continue To Rest Ma)
The Police Command in Enugu State on Sunday says it has arrested one Nnadi Daniel, a notorious armed robbery and kidnapping suspect in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of the state.
A statement by the command’s Spokesman, SP Ebere Amaraizu, noted that the arrest was part of ongoing onslaught by police operatives at Adani and Nimbo axis of Uzo-Uwani councils of the state to tackle crime in the state.
Amaraizu stated that the suspect and other suspects were arrested through a well coordinated operation borne out of intelligence information.
He said the suspect was implicated in the alleged kidnap and murder of Enechi Ejiofor and Emmanuel Okeja on Dec. 13, 2016 and Jan. 3, 2017.
The spokesman said the suspect also participated in other kidnappings, robbery, murder, burglary, stealing and other vices that had taken place in the area and its environs in the past.
He added that “in our ongoing onslaught at Adani and Nimbo axis of Uzo-Uwani council, police operatives raided an identified notorious forest known as Malaysia forest through a well co-ordinated operation.
“The command arrested many suspects among whom is a dreaded armed robbery and kidnap kingpin and a gang member of the outlawed vigilance group, as well as staunch member of a notorious cult group called Umu Malaysia that allegedly kidnap, rob and murder people, identified as Ikechukwu Nnadi Daniel a.k.a Dan.”
He said the suspect had been helping the command in its investigations in relations to their alleged criminal and nefarious activities.
Amaraizu assured the public that the command would not rest on its oars in the ongoing onslaught against crime and criminality until the entire area and its environs were made safe and secure.
“The command has vowed to sustain the tempo of the ongoing onslaught against crime and criminality in Adani and Nimbo axis of Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Nsukka Zone of Enugu State,” he said.
He emphasised that there would be no hiding place for criminally-minded persons and hoodlums under any guise. The ongoing onslaught, which commenced on Aug. 27, recorded arrest of 15 hoodlums who had been disturbing the peace of the area.

Popular Ifa Traditionalist, Playwright, Actor and Author, Yemi Elebuibon has revealed that any man who sleeps with the Ooni of Ife’s ex-queen without the appropriate cleansing may die prematurely.
He said this while speaking to SUN about the recent crash of the Ooni’s 17-month-old marriage to his former wife, Olori Wuraola.
While noting that Ooni would not be the first Yoruba Oba to be separated from his wife, Elebuibon stressed that marriage breakup is not very common among Yoruba Obas.
He said:
‘the wife of the Oba will be asked to consult Ifa and Ifa will give directions on how she will make the necessary atonement for her cleansing. In Yoruba tradition, a woman who has been married to a king cannot lay with any other man even if the marriage breaks up. But when the right atonements have been made, there won’t be problem’.
When asked on the kind of problems which an Oba’s ex-wife might encounter if she refuses to undergo the traditional cleansing rites, Elebuibon said:
‘for the woman, she might not really have a problem but for any man who sleeps with a queen or marries an ex-queen without the appropriate cleansing, the man may die prematurely, he may be struck with sickness or there might be retrogression in his life’.
He warned that if an ex-queen wants to remarry, she will have to do the cleansing with her new husband. Both of them have to take part in the atonement procedures so that they won’t have any future problem.

An apprentice trader at Ladipo Market Mushin identified as Emenike has fled his master’s home after he was caught sleeping with his master’s wife in Lagos.
The incident happened around Ailegun Road in Bucknor Estate at Ejigbo where they reside.
The matter has been reported to the police in the area. But the wife revealed the plan to the house boy, insisting that he did nothing wrong because she lured him into it as her husband had abandoned her and the children and faced business.
However, there has been turn of events since then. The wife has insisted that the husband should withdraw the matter from the police and allow the Emenike to come back. It was gathered that the wife was threatening to expose her husband if he insisted on arresting Emenike and sending him away.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that Ugochukwu (surname withheld) married Ego some years back, they had three kids and lived comfortably in their own house at the estate.
However, Ugochukwu’s business scope expanded and he was travelling out of the countries to import vehicles and spare parts which they sold at the Ladipo market.
It was learnt that Emenike was the senior manager among other apprentices Ugochukwu had and was very loyal to both his boss and his wife.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the wife fell in love with Emenike because he was not only humble, but gave her access to her husband’s money.
The show of affection led to both of them having intimate relationship which closed the emotional gap her husband created because of his business and frequent travelling. But the amorous relationship between Emenike and his wife was revealed to the man and he acted on it and caught them.

Long Lost Family proved to be a real tear-jerker tonight after a Nigerian father collapsed and threw his first meeting with his 39-year-old daughter into jeopardy.
Laura Aker, who grew up in Kirkcaldy in Scotland, needed to know why her father Andrew Olum Ekpang abandoned her after meeting her mother while training for the navy.
The mother-of-three discovered that the man she called dad was not her real father as a teenager, before being shown a letter where Andy promised to return.
Nicky Campbell and the team found Laura’s half-brother Ntem on Facebook and made contact with him.

He revealed that he knew from birth about Laura and that she had always been important to Andy, but financial constraints meant he couldn’t see her.
Andy was “very elated” to see his daughter for the first time, but tragedy struck when he collapsed a week before he was due to travel and was taken to hospital.
It was touch and go whether he would be able to fly, but fortunately after three weeks his doctor gave him the all clear to fly over to meet his daughter.

“I had to [make it] and it is really wonderful and great.”

Laura broke down in tears after Davina McCall told her that her dad has been found and was ‘thrilled’ to see her – before letting her know she has 12 siblings.
They finally shared a hug during an emotional meeting at a hotel where Laura and her dad said they loved each other.
Ntem broke down in tears of happiness and admitted his half-sister “meant so much” to them.
Laura said:
“I just felt a connection straight away. When my dad said he loved me it was everything I hoped for.
“Now I feel not only part of my family in Scotland but also part of my massive family in Nigeria.”
The Ogun State Police Command, reportedly arrested four female primary school leavers, aged between 10 and 13, alongside 13 suspected cultists during a raid in Mosunmore Village, Abeokuta.
Crimepuzzle reported that the raid, carried out on Monday, August 28, 2017, came after a woman raised alarm to the Baale of Mosunmore Village, that her daughter went out late the previous day.
Here’s what the State’s Police Commissioner, CP Ahmed Iliyasu, told newsmen that under-aged girls, confessed to being lured into the group by the boys
“Apparently disturbed by the said outing, the woman pestered her daughter who later confessed that she was initiated into a cult group. Consequently, policemen stormed the area and successfully apprehended the 13 youngsters in the process of initiating yet another set of underaged girls” he said.
The leader of the cult group known “Penalty Guys”, who is just 19, told newsmen how he was initiated by one Tosin in January, 2017, adding that they came about their own group’s name when his third-in-command, 13-year-old Adewale Raphael’s church was organizing a picnic.
“We decided to do customized vests, with the the inscription “Penalty Guys”. This was what attracted the girls and agreed to be initiated”. Adio’s second-in-command, Silas Sunday, 15, was also arrested during the police raid.
Meanwhile, CP Iliyasu has ordered that the suspects be transferred to the Anti-Kidnapping and Cultism Unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) for further investigation and prosecution of the suspects.

Apparently, the reader got a friend request from “Ini Edo”, and he immediately knew whoever operated that account, was a scammer.. — I mean, Do celebrities send their fans Friend request? Oh well..

A 27-year-old Nigerian man, Chijioke James Chukwunweike has been arrested by the Phuket Police, Thailand for allegedly robbing and shooting a Russian woman in the Island-privince, as well as breaking into several houses in the area.
Chijioke was arrested at a rented house in Moo 2 village in Tambon Rawai in Phuket’s Muang district on Thursday night, August 31.
Police found a lot of valuables at the rented house, believed to have been stolen. The Nigerian man denied robbing or attacking the Russian woman.
The woman, Elena Kharenko, said she woke up at around 3.30am on August 30 and saw burglars inside her luxurious house near the Rawai beach. She was shot when she shouted for help. The thieves carried away a safe box and other valuables.
Phuket police chief Pol Colonel Akanit Danphithaksat himself went to the Chalong Police Station to interrogate the suspect.
Several house owners in the Rawai area, whose houses had been burgled, also came to the police station to check the seized valuables.
One of them, Sasithorn Temphan, 39, identified a Louis Vuitton handbag and two luxury watches as belonging to her.
