Residents of Nkumba Central in the Wakiso District of Uganda were thrown into shock on Monday after they discovered the lifeless body of a lady in a banana plantation.
The body of Rose Nakimuli, 27, a hairdresser and resident of Kitaala was found naked with a stick inserted in her genitals. It’s also understood that she must have been raped before she was killed.
According to Monitor UG, this comes barely three days after a 17- year-old girl, Norah Wayana was discovered killed in the same manner and body dumped in a banana plantation near her parent’s home in the same area.
Nakimuli has become the fifth woman to lose her life in the seemingly increasing serial murders in the area.
Mr. Anatori Ndyabajeera, the deceased’s husband said he last saw his wife on Sunday evening.
“I was with my wife on Sunday at 5pm, after which I left for my home in Kawafu zone. Later, I called her phone at 7pm to check on her and we chatted for some good minutes,” he said. ”However, this morning I tried to call her but she wasn’t answering her phone and I was saddened to hear that she had been found dead. ”
Speaking to Journalist at the scene, Entebbe District Police Commander Godfrey Ninsiima said so far, nine people have been arrested in connection with the murders.
“We already have suspects in custody. Some are already in Kigo Prison. It’s an organized group with ill intentions targeting women,” he said.
He said a 10pm curfew has been imposed in Entebbe Town and the neighboring Katabi Town Council as a measure to curb the ongoing murders.
Kampala Metropolitan South Regional Police Commander ACP Siraje Bakaleke also called on women to avoid moving alone at night and warned that bars that would be found operating beyond 10pm would be closed.
“We are not going to sleep. We have started making operations in Entebbe and have introduced bylaws to curb the increasing murders,” he said.
A Nigerian Pastor, Dr. Abel Damina has condemned the act at which people are asked to give especially paying of tithes in churches these days.
In a series of teachings, Abel Damina mentioned that giving is not done to be blessed but out of blessing and not for the returns of it.
He further established that an act of encouraging church members to give for multiplying effects from God is a fraud and an insult to the works of redemption and grace.
According to a fresh report, the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today, July 25 implored all Muslims to visit and protect Jerusalem after violence broke out over metal detectors that Israel installed and later removed from a sensitive holy site in the city.
As quoted, “From here I make a call to all Muslims. Anyone who has the opportunity should visit Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa mosque,” Erdogan said in Ankara, adding: “Come, let’s all protect Jerusalem”, Erdogan said.
However, Erdogan was referring to the site known to Jews as the Temple Mount and central to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus who has been in United States for her movie, has reacted to a post her husband, Daniel Ademinokan, made on Instagram telling her how much he missed her and why she should hurry back home, while also hinting that he suffered mental abuse from his ex-wife, Doris Simeon [See Here].
“@dabishop007 honey, words cannot express how you have made me feel. When people laughed at me and called me names, saying I have been married three times; it hurt me but in my heart I knew it was worth it. Taking a chance on love again was risky for me but only God knows how many nights I cried and told him if it was not meant to be he should close the chapter.
When I met you I found a friend, a father, a brother, a confidant and a business partner. I didn’t know God had plans for me. Plans that were better Than the ones I actually prayed for. Thank you for coming into our lives. You are the most romantic, appreciative, kind, loving, caring and understanding husband any woman can ask for. You also helped me through my healing process boo.
The girls love you so much for being an amazing dad and friend. I dey come back in two days o, tell shakiratu and the rest say the owner of your salt na kolo o, make dem travel far go find their own. I be one man army o, make dem no try me. When I get better thing, I dey hold am TIGHT. I no dey take am play football lie lie. I love you boo. See you soon.”
I remember that sunny afternoon when I was among the many Anambrarians that stood under the sun at Alex Ekwueme square to witness your swearing in/ hand over. I noticed your demeanor almost immediately I elbowed my way to a place I could stand and stare you in the eyes.
I was quite young at the time and almost naive in matters concerning politics but that didn’t stop me from nudging my friend that stood next to me as I said: “This man looks afraid of this office o”
I remember my friend saying that he doesn’t care about your fear. All he cared about was your delivery.
After that day, I traveled to Lagos and forgot about you. Weeks later, I would see your boys on social media saying that you have eradicated all the armed robbers in Anambra. They said Anambra was safe like never before. I was happy. I was glad that you proved me wrong.
I came back to Onitsha one midnight and upper iweka was like New York city. The lights and the life I saw there was impressive. People walked around without the consciousness of time chocking them.
That was the few months of your being in power. You turned Anambra people to rappers that will easily drop this punch line: ‘Willy is willingly working’. It was fine and good.

Do you know what happens to a DJ who starts the night with the trendy songs and mid way into the party he starts playing ‘boring’ songs?
The dancers will not remember that he had thrilled them earlier. All they’ll remember is how they felt when they left.
That was what you did. You came in, designed Awka with bright lights that are brighter than the future of the state, chased the armed robbers, kidnapper’s and all.
Months later, your intensity reduced. You couldn’t maintain the tempo at which you started.
That was when people started to complain (Except Civil servants who you took it upon yourself to treat well).
I am not writing this to praise you.
I am writing this to tell you that I saw the picture where you stopped by to carry an accident victim.
I have the picture on my phone and anytime I feel sad, I look at that picture and laugh at the face you made while you carried the victim. You were posing for the camera.
We know these things. When a Nigerian politician needs your vote, he can come to your house to wash your plate.
You need our votes soon and that’s why you behaved like a WHO employee that day.
Let us be sincere; if the election was two years from now, there is no way you will carry yourself down from the car talk more of carrying accident victim.
Woe to those that still fall for such theatrics.
On Saturday, I came down from Abuja to attend Okey Ndibe’s book event in Awka. I came to engage in intellectual gymnastics because I know the stuff Okey is made off.
Everything made sense until the APGA gang came into the hall with their noise and overbearing behavior.
They disrupted the flow of wisdom and intellectualism and infiltrated the room with lies, more lies and some more lies.
The security aide to your deputy governor who looked like a walking stick came to me and carried my chair without a please or excuse me.
He felt that owning a gun meant liberty to intimidate anybody he saw. I raised my voice a bit, gathered more attention of people who were already bored and took my seat from the gun-wielding-tout.
He looked at me wishing he could shoot me dead right there so you will come and sack him and carry me like you did to the other woman. But, no, he wouldn’t dare.
Sir, we have grown, the times when politicians deceive us with bags of rice and other miserable gifts are gone!
All of you should stop it starting from you!
Your government called Flavour the musician months ago and he was paid millions for singing about breast and nyash.
Professor Okey Ndibe came to the state capital to do his book tour and all the entire APGA party could raise for donation was four hundred and fifty thousand.
As if Okey Ndibe was begging for transport fare back to the US?
Wow!
That shows your priority sir. It goes a long way to see where education and creativity is in the map of your priorities
I saw it as insulting to his person. A professor in an American university with a wit to fear. That was who your entire crew raised such amount of money for? This could pass as the eight wonder of the world.
But, what do I know? Nothing!
The human race is a relay race. We pass batons of love, hate, care help and others to people on a daily basis.
Do not run this race like it is a 100 metre race.
Warm regards sir.

The Yoruba Nollywood actor, Olurotimi Isaiah Ayinde popularly known as Abu Olododo who was announced dead yesterday just about 48 hours after the death af veteran actor, Cheif Adebayo Faleti, died in a more mysteriously that can be imagined.
Another actor, Waheed Ijaduade was the herald that announced his death via Facebook page yesterday morning saying his death was a mystery.
Abu Olododo was said to have died in a ‘sitting position’ while the co-tenants of the deceased forced his door opened in the morning of Monday, Ijaduade reported to PUNCH.
“We chatted for a while on that night. He even asked me about the outcome of a summit that I attended in Lagos. We talked about other things and we agreed to meet on Monday or Tuesday before I went to bed. I went to his residence to see him the following day (Monday) as agreed only to learn that he was dead.”
“He never told me that he was sick. He appeared to be quite healthy when I spoke with him on the phone. His death remains a mystery to me,” Ijaduade corroborated.
Abu Olododo was the first continuity manager in production in Ogun State. He died at the age of 51, leaving a wife and four children behind.
The renowned Nigerian social activist and singer, Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa a.k.a Charly Boy has advised the agitators for the emancipation of Biafra to desist from seceding but rather join hands in unity to proffer solutions to the problems of Nigeria.
In an interview published by the Sun, he noted that it is however insane to continue clamouring for the independence of Biafra as the foundational problem is not about that.
Read what he said:
“Unfortunately, the dreams of nationhood is lost on the altar of deception, and my Igbo brothers must be circumspect on the fact and history, and not be hoodwinked into some insane propaganda that will only lead to more wahala.
“So, instead of Biafra, we should channel our energies and abilities towards developing the South-east to become the economic hub of Nigeria. Igbo nation and my people are great but for us to move forward we must kill our individualistic tendencies and come together to do great things.
“The fall of Biafra after the genocide, starvation, and immense suffering of my people should teach us something. I believe the failure of the Igbo nation is the fault of the people, her so-called elites and decision-makers. Why have we not poured our energy, capacity and ability into making the South-east the Dubai of the nation as well as the engine room of the Nigerian economy? Who would be our leaders when the South-east is infested with political power-grabbers, 419ers, mindless criminals and looters of our commonwealth and resources? Need I mention names?
“Our problem is the lack of men of integrity and a progressive mindset. We lack the right kind of leadership that will fight for the interest of the people. Let it be clear to all that the sufferings and poverty of the people of the South-east are also the sufferings and poverty of the peoples of the other geopolitical zones in Nigeria, including my northern brothers. Even the nascent anti-corruption fight in the country has seen all tribe accordingly represented. It is therefore retrospectively insane to begin to think that a people with a problem would suddenly be relieved when they are attached with a tag #BIAFRA; Abegi.
A video has emerged showing two children getting married in a ceremony in a Chinese village.
According to Metro UK, they are both just 13 years old and the girl was five months pregnant at the time of the ceremony in Ding’an County, Hainan Province.
The wedding, which is believed to have happened last month, has sparked anger in China but cannot be officially recognised because they are too young.
The legal age for women to get married is 20 and for men it is 22 but child marriage is ‘common’ in rural China.
However, the Beijing News reports that the ceremony was arranged by their family and they were happy to see them get married.
A user of Weibo – China’s answer to Twitter – wrote: ‘They are still children. How could they shoulder their responsibilities in the future?’, according to Mail Online.
Child marriage is a large problem in China and often happens when their parents leave them behind to go and work in cities, sometimes thousands of miles away, according to Xinhua.
As a result they are cared for by their grandparents and often lack s*xual education.
For the three children of the late Alhaji Hakeem Salaudeen, life suddenly turned upside down recently, when their mother, 39-year-old Omotayo allegedly connived with an ex-convict, Oladapo Dolapo, to murder him.
Expectedly the tragic incident has put the children in a pathetic condition of having to fend for themselves while their mother is now gnashing her teeth in regret in custody at Ilesa Prison, where she was remanded by the court following her arraignment by the Osun State Police Command.
The children, Barakat, 17, Uthman, 15 and 12-year-old Fatima, despite urgings by members of the extended family, have elected to continue residing in their parents’ home, to keep it warm and open, as it were, rather than relocate to the family house in the Agowande area of Osogbo. Since the gruesome murder of their father, they have been living alone in the big apartment located on the sleepy street.
One of the children, Uthman and the elder sister, Barakat, told Sunday Sun they preferred to live in the house alone located in a suburb of Osogbo, the capital city of Osun State.
“We can only go out when we want to visit our grandma,” they said together. The grandmother he referred to is the 95-year-old mother of their late dad, and who is fondly called Alhaja Mosobalaje.
Prodded to explain how they have been coping, especially with respect to food, Barakat said: “We still have foodstuff in the house. The foodstuff that mummy bought is still remaining. That is what we are eating now.”
But how will they survive if the food finishes, Sunday Sun sought to know, and she said: “We don’t know. That is why we want the law enforcement agents to forgive our mummy so that she can come back home and take care of us. Family members alone can’t do everything for us.”
At this point, the three children could no longer hold back tears and they began to sob, wondering what would become of the beautiful plans their father laid for them.
Barakat, who just finished from Delightsome Group of Schools, wants to study at the Obafemi Awolowo University to become an accountant. Her brother, Uthman wants to go to the Nigeria Defence Academy (NDA) and become a soldier. But the youngest, Fatima wants to study Theatre Arts and become an actress.
Uthman and Fatima will be in SSS III and JSS III respectively in the same school as from next session.
Meanwhile, more details have emerged on how the tragedy that befell them, when residents of the sleepy area woke up and heard the shocking news that one of their neighbours had been hacked to death by an unknown assailant the previous night.
Sunday Sun gathered that Salaudeen, who was in his 40s, was gruesomely murdered in his house about 3.00 am by his wife who hired an ex-convict, Oladapo Dolapo. The ex-convict is alleged to have stabbed Salaudeen in the stomach with a knife as his wife choked him with a pillow.
At the headquarters of the Osun Police Command, where she was paraded along with her accomplice, Omotayo confessed that she and Dolapo connived to commit the crime.
“I choked him with a pillow, after having s*x with him and Dolapo stabbed him to death with a knife. I never thought it would turn out this way. I hired Oladapo Dolapo to help me kill my husband.”
Dolapo, 24, admitted that the woman contracted him to kill the man after promising to give him whatever he wanted if the operation was successful. He disclosed that the deceased’s wife, promised him a befitting accommodation and other largesse.
While parading the suspect, the Commissioner of Police, Olafimihan Adeoye disclosed that Mr. Salaudeen Adesina Jimoh of 3, Engineer Adesina Salawu Street, Osogbo, reported the case at the station on May 12, 2017. He said that on the fateful day about 3:00 am, two unknown men entered his brother’s house, stabbed him to death with knife but nothing was carted away.
Adeoye further explained that a team of police detectives and patrol men went to the scene, where the following inscriptions were found on the wall of the deceased’s house: “No Price, No Pay,” “Aye Axe” and “Forgiveness is a sin.”
The CP said investigation by the police revealed that Omotayo did not only hire Dolapo but actively participated in killing her husband.
The police later arraigned the suspects in court, from where they were remanded at Ilesa Prison.
In an interaction with Sunday Sun, Omotayo said she had lost interest in her marriage, though she confessed that her husband was a good person who always took care of her needs and the needs of her children.
“We’ve been married for 17 years. We are blessed with three children aged 17, 15 and 12. He did not offend me. I was just mad at him,” she said.
Sunday Sun’s investigations indicated that Omotayo and her accomplice after murdering the man, made it look like armed robbers killed him.
A family source said that Dolapo, who made open confessions to the family members at the police station, before he was paraded alongside Omotayo, said that after he had agreed with the woman to carry out the dastardly assignment, she smuggled him into the house around 6.00 pm when the deceased had not come home and hid him inside a small shack made of woods at the back of the house. He remained there until the husband came home in the night.
He disclosed that when the man got home, his wife received him warmly and served him dinner. When the man was eating, the woman went out of the sitting room and met the assailant where he was hiding and told him that her husband had arrived and was eating his dinner in the sitting room.
Before then, when the eldest child, Barakat, noticed that her father had come back and wanted to greet him and also ask him to take her to a JAMB examination centre the following morning, her mother chased her back into the children’s room. She also asked all the children to go and sleep and warned them not to disturb their father.
It was at that point that she then took Dolapo into one of the rooms while the three children were in their room. When she got back to the room, she lured the husband to their room after he had had his dinner. She began to caress him and they eventually had sexual intercourse.
After the session, she left her husband in bed and went out naked, pretending to go and have a shower in the bathroom. Instead she went to meet Dolapo, where he was hiding in one of the rooms and told him that her husband would soon fall asleep so that they could execute their plan.
When she returned to the room again, she joined her husband in bed until she noticed that he had fallen asleep. That was between 2.00 am and 3.00 am. She then sneaked out quietly and led the assailant into the bedroom where the man was sleeping.
Once back in the room, she slammed a pillow on his face trying to choke him, while Dolapo attacked him with a knife and killed him.
To cover up the crime, they made inscriptions on the wall of the house to indicate that the deceased was a member of a cult group, whose members must have come to kill him. The inscriptions read thus: “No price, no pay,” “Aye axe,” and “Forgiveness is a sin.”
She collected the deceased’s phone which was left on a stool, went to the children’s room and also took their only phone, removed other items and gave to the assailant to take away, to make it look like the robbers who killed her husband made away with the items.
Sunday Sun gathered that she asked Dolapo to remove his shirt and hang it on top of the fence as evidence that it was left there by one of the robbers who was trying to escape.
For Dolapo to be able to escape, the woman gave her late husband’s jalabia dress to him to wear, to impersonate him in case he was confronted by vigilantes, who knew the husband often wore the jalabia in the neighbourhood.
Then she opened the gate quietly, to let out Dolapo, but he was noticed by some vigilantes, who truly mistook him for the deceased because of the jalabia he wore.
Sunday Sun gathered that the assailant sold the deceased’s phone to a friend. When the crime was reported, MTN was contacted and the police tracked down the buyer.
It was the buyer who helped the police to trace the assailant and he was later identified as an ex-convict.
When he was paraded by the police, Dolapo said he used to shuttle between Lagos and Osogbo “to do runs.” According to him, whenever he was broke, he would go to Lagos to do ‘runs’ and if he made good money, he would come and spend it in Osogbo.
He disclosed further that it was during his stay in Osogbo that the woman got in touch with him and they struck the deal that led to the killing of Alhaji Salaudeen.
The deceased’s younger brother, Adetunji Idris Babatunde, who spoke with Sunday Sun, said that his late brother told him two weeks before he was killed that he suspected that his wife was planning to kill him.
But when he asked if he had any serious contention with her, the deceased said there was no serious issue between them; but he was just having a feeling that the woman would kill him one day.
On the character of the deceased, Babatunde said: “He was a responsible man to the core. He was a businessman and very responsible and committed to his family. He didn’t live a wayward life. He even bought a car for the wife. I never met them quarrelling any day. Whenever I visited them, I always noticed that they loved each other.”
Asked what he could suspect as being responsible for the sudden change in the couple’s relationship, Babatunde said it could be due to his late brother’s decision to marry the second wife.
According to him, the second wife identified as Tawakalitu who lives in a different house and Omotayo often had quarrels.
Uthman also confirmed that his late father was a nice and responsible family man who loved his family dearly. His parents were very close and loved each other very well. He added that they used to go out together in his father’s car and also shared the same bedroom.
But did the mother ever complain about his late father’s attitude or character in the presence of the children? Uthman said: “Mummy used to complain sometimes that daddy’s behaviour towards her had changed since he married the second wife. She used to complain that daddy was not giving her attention like before and was not providing all her needs as he used to do.”
“Mummy was always disturbing daddy to look for a job for her or open a big shop for her but he did not do that. So, mummy was always complaining that she was not satisfied with the small shop she had. Since then, they would quarrel from time to time. But it was not serious.”

“It happened at Palace Road, Oginigba, Trans-Amadi Port Harcourt, Rivers State.* A *yahoo guy* was caught early this morning with a coffin as he finished having sexual intercourse with his *girlfriend*, he immediately stood up and tied a red piece of cloth on his penis and started reciting some incantation when the girl raised alarm from the room.
The girl’s noise attracted the attention of the people around who then subsequently rushed to the room, forced the door open and BEHOLD…trying to kill his girlfriend for money ritual.
Parents let keep giving proper counseling to our growing up girls. Ritual killings is what is in vogue these days and our young girls of today can be easily get attracted with “worldly things- frivolities”; which those callous YAHOO GUYS often use as baits to lure their victims.
Our children shall not turn to money-making ingredients by His grace.
For a while now, we have all been treated to petty drama riddled with several name calling, fake lifestyle outing, famzing claims and whatnot between socialites and artists, and truth be told, it’s just about enough. Enough already!
While there are a few who live the good life; popping champagne, making a dash for the store in a jet and steadily cashing out due to their huge brand and maybe hardwork, it must however be noted that a few others who managed to reach the upper echelons of mega stardom, lost it all in the blink of an eye.
This for some was came about due to bad management of their money. Some lost everything to the managers, labels, and promoters who were supposed to handle their affairs And some lost their money to lavish lifestyle and addictions.
One of the celebrities who seems to have taken a steep plunge from household name status into ‘we never even knew you were gone’ is you, Oga Durella.
Now, this post would not have made the light of day, had you;
1. decided on staying quiet and just keep working on yourself till we get that hit or at least successful record from you.
2. decided to practice properly at home before giving the Hip TV interview
3. gotten yourself a coach in the industry to put you through on what to say at the interview.
Now, you go on air to talk about why you went MIA for years and your answer was:
“It is not even related to anything like that women, drinks and you [speak incoherently for a while] I can say it right now, am a different person entirely.”
This is where I waited patiently, for him to say how he is any different from what he claims he was never into, then I hear..
“I can tell you change, am not [incoherent speaking starts again] I don’t really think maybe it’s because of women….it doesn’t really stop anything…[here goes the Nigerian celebrity ego taking a stroll in] nothing can stop my talent.”
Sir, you deny women and drinks were not the reason for you abrupt I want to believe temporary end in the industry, yet you say you have changed and you don’t think women ended your career? What exactly do you want us to believe?
More than half of the celebrities today are neck, tongue, penis deep into hopefully learning where the clitoris is and what it feels like without ruining their chances of still unnecessarily being all up in our faces, but you went overboard or what?
Your Wikipedia says and management ended things, you are here incoherently further giving us reasons never to take any other artist like yourself trying to make a comeback.

The activist took to her Instagram page last evening, July 24 to announce fund-raising for the orphans in Ibadan after returning from a visit to the orphanage home in the Oluyole local community. However, she took a bit beyond that to spit fire for her past experience from the law enforcement agency.
Kemi Olunloyo visited the Agodi Prison in Ibadan where she said she was warmly welcomed after returning from prison. She promised to post some videos of her tour soon.

An Uber passenger was left shocked and horrified after his driver seemingly received oral sex from a prostitute.
He was further left disappointed after the company attempted to apologize by offering him a mere $10 credit.
Aner Manuel claims in Chicago around 3am on July 17, he was stuck in an Uber for two miles while an intoxicated prostitute groped and performed oral sex on the driver.
He posted footage which he tagged the ‘most dangerous and inappropriate ride ever’to prompt Uber to appropriately respond to the complaint.
‘As I approached my Uber, I noticed there was a passenger in the front seat. I double checked to make sure I didn’t select UberPool, and then approached the car.
‘I assumed it may have been a family member of some sort. As we pulled off the female in the front (who was clearly on drugs) attempted to open the door and could not even sit straight as the vehicle was in motion.’She then began to grope him and grab him. They began to kiss and she began loosening his belt.
‘As we got further and further from my pickup location I had no idea where I was, so I had to stay in the car. She then proceeded to perform oral sex.
‘This was my last straw. I asked the driver to drop me off. Since I’ve contacted Uber and they refunded me for trip and gave me a “$10 credit”.
‘They’ve seen this video and are still “investigating”. They have been extremely bad at answering any messages I’ve sent, and I demand something gets done. This is not okay!’
The journalist, social media commentator and activist, Kemi-Omololu Olunloyo announced a fundraising platform yesterday July 24 for the less-privileged and orphans in the local community of Ibadan, Oyo state.

In a recent interview with HipTV, Nigerian Singer, Blackface, has claimed that 2Face is yet to acknowledge him for his role in writing African Queen.
The dancehall, ragga and reggae singer has no intention of letting his beef with former Plantashun boyz band mate, 2Face simmer down, as he is insisting 2face must apologize.
Speaking on Faze’s move to reconcile them, he said:
“Faze is my friend and he is going to do his own bit. But, one thing that he does not know is that who feels it, knows it. He didn’t write the song, I did. So he does not know what I am talking about. It is easy for him to call for peace. But then, it is the duty of the offender to apologise for his action. I can’t keep quiet about what happened because I haven’t offended anybody. I have not stolen anybody’s song.”
He also stated that the Federal Government is yet to institute an appropriate punishment for individuals who are involved in song theft.
“Had the Federal Government introduced an appropriate punishment for stealing other people’s songs, many music artistes would be in trouble today. If the penalty required offenders to spend some years in jail, many so-called big artistes would be in prison by now.
“Some of them steal songs from fellow musicians based in the country or abroad and pass them off as their own. This is very bad for culture and the creative sector.
It is also bad enough for the honest and hardworking Nigerian artiste who goes through a lot of trouble to survive.

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, who took his campaign for the creation of Biafra to Ebonyi state today, has stated that Anambra governorship election will not hold if Nigeria is not restructured before October 1, 2017.
He met with IPOB members in the state and spoke on ways the group can successfully create Biafra without resorting to violence.
He reportedly gave the condition on Monday at an event in Enugu where he received awards from three Igbo groups, including the Eastern Consultative Assembly and the Igbo Students’ Association.
According to him, the election will only be held in the state if the federal government restructures the country before October 2017 and gives him a date for a referendum.
He said:
“There will be no election in Anambra State come November 2017 and going forward there won’t be any election until they give me a date for a referendum.
“They know what to do; convene a meeting, I will send my rep; give us a date for the referendum, that is the only way.
“In which part of this earth have you ever found a measure of self-determination to be equated to war except in Nigeria because the political leaders do not understand the difference between self-determination and war?
“Self-determination does not mean hate speech; the status quo can no longer remain. Like my brother Evangelist Eliot Ugochukwu-Uko said, if on or before October 1 nothing happens in terms of substantial restructuring, then there won’t be any election; the people will support us.”
The Anambra governorship election is to hold on the 18th of November 2017.

THESE are the depraved messages an alleged paedophile sent to a 12-year-old girl on Facebook before threatening to rape her when her mum intervened.
The vile man, who is aged in his 30s, used the profile picture of a handsome teenage boy while interacting with the vulnerable child on social media.
But his’ sick messages were exposed by the girl’s mum who lives in Rochdale, Greater Manchester – an area which was infamously rocked by a scandal centring on a gang of paedos.
The man initially contacted the schoolgirl online and bombarded her with disturbing messages before sending her a video showing him performing a sex act – which revealed his real age.
Among the disgusting emails, the man wrote: “I’m in love with you. Badly. Let’s video call.”
He asked if the girl was a “virgin” and whether she was “horny.”
But the creepy messages became even more sinister when the child’s mum contacted the man and said she would call the police.
The man threatened to sexually assault the girl, writing: “I will make sure I rape your daughter.”
He then added: “Shut up. You are not telling anything to police. Or else I’ll rape your daughter.
The horrified mum contacted an action group called Parents Against Grooming – set up in the wake of the systematic abuse of 47 vulnerable girls by a Rochdale-based gang in 2012.
Billy Howarth, from the group, said one of his team accompanied the frightened mother to the police station where she handed over the sick messages.
