Mrs Omotayo Salawudeen, a 39-year-old housewife based in Osogbo, Osun State told the police and newsmen yesterday that she had sex with Alhaji Hakeem Salawudeen, her husband before killing him, using her hired killer.
Her words: “My husband of 17 years was a good man who took care my needs and that of our three children”.
“He didn’t offend me, I was just mad at him and after having sex with him, I took a pillow and covered his month and Oladapo Dolapo, the guy I hired for the job stabbed him to death”, she lamented.
Olafimihan Adeoye, Osun state police commissioner, while parading the suspects said the incident occurred on May 27, 2017.
But, the woman said the deceased did nothing to her to warrant the killing, saying that though she regretted her action, it was just her desire to kill the husband.
Dolapo, the 24-year-old suspected killer also explained that the woman enticed him with promises of a befitting accommodation and other largesse to punish her husband by killing him.
The Osun police chief further explained that one Engr. Salawudeen Adesina Jimoh of No 3, Engr. Adesina Salawu Street, Osogbo reported the incident on May 12, 2017 to the police.
“Engr Jimoh told the police that on that fateful day at about 3:00am, two unknown persons entered his brother’s house at No 11, Adeniran Street, Alleluyah Estate, Osogbo and stabbed him to death with knife and nothing was carted away”.
Based on the report, police directives and other officers on patrol visited the scene of the incident where inscriptions: “No Price No Pay, Aye Axe And Forgiveness Is A Sin” were found on the wall of the house of the deceased.
Adeoye said the police arrested Dolapo first and when quizzed confessed that he was hired by the wife of the deceased to kill the husband with promises of a better life.
However, investigations by the police revealed that Omotayo participated actively in the killing of her husband, even as the police chief assured that the case could be charged to court, soon.

Kemi Olunloyo has shared details of a call she allegedly received from a relative of Seyi Law’s wife in the UK.
The controversial journalist claimed that the person revealed Seyi Law’s daughter, Tiwa’s medical state to her.
Read what she wrote below…
BREAKING I just received a call from one of @seyilaw1’s wife’s relatives in the UK who disclosed privately to me that his daughter Tiwa has a disability and medical complication she was born with. Tiwa cannot process #insulin well and therefore gains weight and retains fat like any hyperglycemic patient would. This sounds close to type 1diabetes also called juvenile diabetes. I spotted this baby as obese 6 months ago to educate others on a medical issue, her father acknowledged it and I also called @majeayida into it, a first clsss fitness trainer who I asked to write an article on child obesity to assist me as a pharmacist to educate Nigerians.
NEXT I was wrongfully imprisoned and Seyi said he was rejoicing when he heard that I was locked up because she called my baby “fat”. Rather than him apologizing for that, he insulted my entire family. Today my mom cursed him for saying she should have kept her placenta and thrown me away, called me a family reject and compared me with a dog with RABIES!
None of his fans saw him do wrong, they did not research the original post and all thought this online fight was between me and Seyi. It was about the child. Instead, I got curses and death threats. Some illiterates even thought the word “obese” was a bullying word when its actually a medical term. The other disability the child suffers is too much to say here. Pray for that girl. Seyi, I advise you take down your child’s photos from social media. To all the celebrities sarcastically cursing me out not mentioning my name, thank God u will remain scared of me forever posting her pictures and crowning her baby of the year as I made her famous in one weekend, ALWAYS FOCUS ON THE BIGGER PICTURE.
LEARN MORE ABOUT JUVENILE DIABETES. The immune system destroys cells in the pancreas. No more insulin is produced. The child becomes FAT for a lifetime #hnnhealth

The Oyo State Police Command on Monday, confirmed the death of one person in the violence that trailed the public outing of the Ege masquerade in the Egungun festival in Ibadan on Sunday.
The police spokesman in the state, ASP Adekunle Ajisebutu, told newsmen in Ibadan that two suspects were also arrested in connection with the incident.
Violence had marred the Egungun festival on Sunday as many residents were assaulted while property were destroyed. Ajisebutu, however, said that the command had beefed up security in the area where the Egungun festival was taking place.
He said the state Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Odude, had warned all masquerades and their followers to refrain from violence. The police, he said, would not hesitate to deal with any individual or group attempting to cause a breach of the peace.

A Youth advocate and political strategist identified as Oladimeji Omo Balogun has narrated how he survived after the vehicle he was in while traveling for a wedding in Ogun state – was bashed by a speeding train.
The man who claimed he passed out for some minutes after the collision – revealed that he came out unscathed from the accident. Read his story below;
‘My Experience’…. EXCLUSIVE
About this time yesterday (1. 30pm.. Saturday, 15th of July, 2017), I was coming from Elder Dapo Adeyemi son’s wedding ceremony in Alakuko, Lagos, to attend Chief Olusegun Osoba’s 78th birthday in Abeokuta.
As we were trying to cross the rail track between Obada Oko and Adigbe in our vehicle, out of nowhere, all of a sudden, without any notice, we found a train 50metres away from our vehicle. HEAD ON, we were hit by this train that is probably running at 500kpm/hour.
I passed out, but to the glory of God, I woke up less than 5min after the collision and walked out of the CONDEMNED car unscathed except for a minor pain in my neck.
What else can I say than to thank Him!
Emi ki y’io ku iku kiku kan bi ki se yiye… The struggle continues.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has reacted to criticisms trailing his recent pronouncement on steps being taken by the government to discourage the production of Nigerian movies and music outside the country.
In a chat with PREMIUM TIMES, on Sunday, he said it was to tackle the exploitation of perceived loopholes in the Nigerian Broadcasting Code, NBC.
“The NBC code today as it stands has been exploited and not defined and that’s why movies being directed by Nigerians with Nigerian actors, actresses can be shot in South Africa and then brought back to be consumed in Nigeria.
All we are saying is that we are going to amend the code in a manner that it will not be possible for you to exploit any loophole there to go and shoot outside Nigeria film, music or programs that are meant to be consumed in Nigeria,” Mr. Mohammed said.
Mr. Mohammed on Saturday said the government had taken steps to get the Nigeria Broadcasting Code, NBC to put an end to the trend of producing Nigerian music, movie and programs abroad.
This however drew criticism from Nigerians who asked the minister to address the issue of government officials going for medical treatment abroad first before sanitising the movie industry.
However, the minister said the government had no ill-feeling in its move to dissuade Nigerian films from being produced abroad.
“It is not directed at any particular incident, every country should respect the local industry of other countries.
For example, in Ghana they introduced a law today that demands visiting actors to pay a thousand dollars to the government coffers while visiting directors and producers pay 5,000 dollars.
We must create an enabling environment and also generate revenue from our creative industry. The argument is simple, when you go to shoot a film offshore, you use the work force of that country to develop the capacity of that country and you improve the economy of that country and that is what we are trying to do here.”
After three years, the youngest Nobel Prize laureate, Yousafzai Malala visited the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo today at the State House in Abuja.

In a meeting that started around 6pm, Malala alongside seven child activists to include her father went on table with the Acting President.
Earlier in 2014, Malala was in Nigeria on crusade to the Former President Goodluck Jonathan for the speedy recovery of the Chibok girls that were abducted by the insurgent group of Boko Haram.

The Former Minister of Petroleum, Professor Tam David- West has signified that he has reason to prove wrong the critics claiming that President Muhammadu is not sound in health.
The aged man revealed that he has contact with the President in London on weekly basis.
Last week, Governor Ayodele Fayose disagreed totally that Buhari is fine as claimed by the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, who visited him for on hour. The Governor was supported by Femi Fani-Kayode, the former minister of aviation, both demanding video or audio proof that the ailing President is still alive and fine.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Tam David-West spoke expressively that the President is alive and his anticipated return will hock many Nigerians especially those doubting his well-being.
Hear him:
“Many Nigerians are complaining that since President Muhammadu Buhari travelled to London on a medical trip, things have not been going in the right direction, especially in the political arena. Many Nigerians seem to have been frustrated. So, what are the shockers Nigerians should expect from him when he returns to the country?
“First, when Buhari comes to the country, Nigerians will be shocked. Have you ever seen a dead man coming back alive? Many people have been saying he has died, I don’t care for them because I have contact with him every week; I know what is happening every week. When they said Buhari had died, I said they were talking rubbish because I have evidence that he is alive.
“All of the people that are talking stupidly, if you want to be responsible, make a statement based on facts. They have no facts. Look, I have the latest evidence two days ago, the man is healthy and alive. How are they going to be shocked?
“They will be shocked because he will come back alive, which will be the first shock. They will also be shocked that he will come back hale and healthy. They will be shocked that when he comes back, he will be the same Buhari that those that know him know – he is so humorous; intellectual Buhari. They carried rumour that he had died and he’s in the mortuary. Muslims don’t put their dead ones in the mortuary.
“Then, his wife went to see him. She came back and said she saw her husband and thanked all the people that were praying for him. But sceptical Nigerians, useless and wicked Nigerians said ‘how do we know that his wife saw him?’ She said ‘ I saw my husband and you are still doubting him.
“Then, they said he could not talk again. He addressed the nation on Sallah. They also said he addressed the nation in Hausa, not in English. Before that time, they said he could not speak. Now, the latest one, the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, who is the acting president presently has gone to London and said he talked with the President for over one hour.
“He said Buhari was busy cracking hilarious jokes. They will be shocked because all the evil things they wished him, will never come true. They will be shocked because when he returns, it is not likely to be as usual.
“Second, I have this strong feeling that when Buhari comes back, there will be a major re-thinking of governance method. I trust that he will do cabinet reshuffle. But cabinet reshuffle is just a little normal thing. I think that a major re-thinking of the method of governance is the only way left for us to turn the table around, and get back the confidence of the people.”
At his condolence visit to to the Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje over the death of Dan Masani Kano, Alhaji Maitama Sule, yesterday, he noted that health challenge can be uncontrollable for human but President Buhari has been honest to Nigerians about his health condition.
He said:
“The President did not lie to us. He told us he was ill; and he needs to take care of himself. I don’t see any crisis about this situation. We are a nation that is very humane, honest, compassionate, and resilient. We take care of our own neighbours.”
“I am not a member of presidential cabinet, but I am a member of his party and I am a Nigerian. All we can do is to pray for him.”
On the controversy between between the Presidency and the National Assembly, Tinubu opined that there is no such unfair affairs between the two arms of government. He noted the criticism from both arms are only democratic.
“Honestly, I don’t see any problem in the crisis between the legislature and executive because we are in politics and in politics, there is an inbuilt conflict resolution mechanism. “Crisis, argument and communication are part of politics and there is a self-corrective process. “The National Assembly is there to voice their objective or objection. It is constitutional to take action against the opposition while the executive is to do the job of executive. They don’t have to be dog and nick to one another.
‘But for the peace, unity, prosperity, harmony and progress of the country, they have to work together; they are co-joined twins. No one can consume one another. If they play the politics well, Nigeria will be better for it”, the ex-governor of Lagos state noted.

Doris Simeon’s ex-husband, Daniel, thanks God for liberating him from an abusive marriage and his wife, Stella Damasus, for helping him heal during the time of pain.
The US based filmmaker Daniel Ademinokan sparked off this conversation after his somewhat cryptic post on Instagram today.
Daniel used to be married to actress Doris Simeon and they have a son together named David. He has now moved on and is not married to Stella Damasus and they co-parent their children together.
Daniel shared a photo of himself with Stella on Instagram, and he wrote;
I’m so getting in trouble with @stelladamasus for posting this picture but only 3 people understand the inside joke here. LOL . Some people live an entire lifetime but never get a shot at true love. Some people may never know what it feels like to be TRULY loved. So they may never know what it feels like to wake up every morning next to your woman with no weave, no wig, no make up, and a heavy dose of stinky morning breath…and still love her from here to the moon and back. Can I get a witness?? Babe, I miss your wahala. I miss the way you make me laugh from my core till I have a headache. I miss our late night conversations that lead to late night snacking, and that leads to tears and pain in the gym. Chai! (Damn! Focus dude). I miss the most amazing things that come out of the late night conversations, too.
Boo, hurry up and come home. We miss our stylist, my barber, our chef, our ‘egbe wedger’, our doctor, tailor, our Google, professor and our personal alarm clock.
Lately, I’ve been reading comments, reactions and people’s stories about our short film WHEN IS IT ENOUGH. I went back to see the film again last night and reversed the roles in my head. Wow! Some men may never have been hit by their wives but they were definitely abused & violated mentally. All I can say is, thank you Jesus for THE liberation. And thank you Boo for helping me through the healing process. The world doesn’t need the story but they’ll definitely experience the glory. One lesson I’ve learnt: when it comes to love – don’t settle. Never settle for what’s available if it’s not what you want and know you deserve.
You’ve shown me what love is, can be, and should be. I love you babe. Oya hurry back home because Shakiratu down the street has come to borrow salt 3 times this morning already. You know it’s not salt she wants. #MotivationMonday #Inspiration #WIE #WhenIsItEnough #DanielAdeminokan #StellaDamasus #Escandalo #WhatLoveShouldBe #Inspiration #Love #CoupleGoals #GrowingOldWithYou

The owner of a restaurant, City Garden Resort, located at Banana Junction, Amaifeke, Chimezie Agubata, has been arrested by the Imo State Police Command in Owerri for allegedly abducting three children and selling two of them.
Agubata, who hails from Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State and reportedly manages an orphanage home, God’s Favour Orphanage Home, in Okporo, was paraded by the police on Friday.
A widow, Mrs. Esther Agwu, narrated to newsmen at the police station how Agubata allegedly abducted her three children and sold off two of them.
The widow, who hails from Amasiri Afikpo Community in Ebonyi State, said she had been working for Agubata when the suspects allegedly abducted the children under the guise that he was taking care of them.
The widow said it was by God’s grace that her eldest child escaped from Agubata’s home when he noticed that his siblings had been given to two different persons, who took them away in different vehicles.
Agwu explained that it was one Ifeanyi, who introduced her to Agubata, upon the demise of her husband.
The widow said the suspect promised to offer her a job without knowing that he was in the business of abducting and selling children.
She said:
“He told me that his wife was not happy that my children were playing around on his business premises and that he would want my three children to stay with his mother in her house. He presented one woman who claimed to be his mother and from the shop she left with my children.
“That same day, he told me that there is one of his uncles in Lagos whose wife has difficulty in child bearing and that the man would want to see me for marriage. He then gave me N5,500 to go to Lagos and told me that he would come and pick me at the park.
“The following day, I left for Lagos to see the proposed husband. But when I got to Lagos, a woman called and picked me and kept me in a place that looked like a brothel with prostitutes.
“I asked her about the man. She said I will go to Ghana or stay in Lagos and do what others were doing at the brothel. I had to run out of the place and went to the street, where I started begging for assistance. Some people assisted me with transport fare with which I immediately travelled back to Orlu to look for my children,”
The state Commissioner of Police, Chris Ezike, said the command was determined to eradicate child trafficking in the state.
He said operatives of the command had been charged to go after people who derive joy in trading in human beings, especially little children, adding that anybody who got involved in running illegal orphanages would be brought to justice.
The husband of the murdered Osun state permanent secretary of Bureau of General Services, Mrs Olufunke Oluwakemi Kolawole, has revealed the strange message she got from his wife three weeks before her death.
The death of Mrs Kolawole, who was reportedly shot died by unknown gunmen along Okene-Abuja Road in Kogi State, on her way to Abuja last Thursday, stirred mixed feelings about the actual cause of the death whether it was an assassination by kidnappers or murder by Armed robbers.
Mr. Tunde Kolawole, the husband of the deceased however spoke with journalists on the text message he got from the wife before she encountered mysterious death.
He said:
“About three weeks ago, she sent a text message to me. I was in Lagos then. When I read the message, it said: ‘In case anything happens, please take care of the children. Make sure they are comfortable.’
“When I read the message, I thought it was her normal way of asking me to care for the children. I never suspected anything bad, neither did I imagine that anything was going to happen to her.
On the speculated death, he expressed doubt on the tendency of his wife being killed by hired assassins.
“I don’t want to believe that she had a premonition of her death before sending that message to me. I only felt that it was her normal way of asking me to take care of the children.”
“I can’t say whether they were kidnappers because the manner in which they attacked her showed that they were not kidnappers, but robbers because some of them searched her bags and made away with money, her handsets and other valuable items”, Mr. Kolawole noted.
