Meet Mariam Nabatanzi Babirye, the 37-year-old mother who has already given Birth to 38 children.
Mariam lives in Kabimbiri Village, Mukono District in Uganda and the villagers have already given her a nickname, Nalongo Muzaala Bana, which means “the twin mother who produces quadruplets.”
In what must be some sort of record, Mariam has six sets of twins, four sets of triplets, three sets of quadruplets and two single births.
In a recent interview with a Ugandan daily, she said:
“My father gave birth to 45 children with different women and [they] all came in quintuplets, quadruplets, twins and triplets.”
Mariam says her father had 45 children, many of whom came in quintuplets, quadruplets and twins.
Dr Charles Kiggundu, a gynecologist at Mulago Hospital confirms that Mariam may have taken after her father, as her case may be genetic.
He said: “Her case is genetic predisposition to hyper-ovulate (releasing multiple eggs in one cycle), which significantly increases the chance of having multiples.”
Mariam said she was married off at an early age and she gave birth for the first time at the age of 13 to twins.
She said she sought medical advice several times in a bid to stop having children but doctors advised her that since she produces so many eggs, it would be dangerous to her health.
However, Dr Kiggundu said Mariam was not well advised, because doctors could easily have performed tubal ligation as a permanent method of contraception.
Moreover, Mariam has a non-supportive husband who is rarely there for her and her children. Her eldest son, Charles Musisi, 23, confirmed: “Our siblings do not know what father looks like. I last saw him when I was 13 years old and only briefly at night because he rushed off again.”
As a parting shot, Mariam advised parents to never sell their children off to early marriage and men to look after their wives and children

In Facebook post, that has now gone viral, Inusa threatened all Nigerians, making his stand known that he is ready to murder 200 innocent people as a revenge if peradventure anything happens to the president.

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has declared the state is now part of Biafra. Dailypost Reports.
Speaking to newsmen, during the bail hearing of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, at the Federal High Court that sat in Abuja on Tuesday.
“Ekiti State is now part of Biafra,” he declared.
This is the first time Fayose is openly showing support for the movement, which is agitating for a breakaway of the South-East from the Nigeria.
Kanu has been granted bail on health grounds .
The IPOB leader is also expected to provide three sureties one of whom must be a serving Senator, a Jewish religious leader and highly respected person, who own land anywhere in Abuja.
The bail bond has been set at N100million for each surety.
Kanu was also ordered never to grant any interviews to the press, pending the outcome of his trial. He will not be seen in a gathering of more than 10 people.
Justice Binta Nyako made it clear that Kanu’s bail will be revoked, if any of the orders are flouted.
However, the other accused persons were denied bail. According to Justice Nyako, treasonable felony – the charges against them is a serious offence against the state.

From the clip shared by TV360, the ooni arrived at an unnamed event which was headlines by the Oba of Lagos. When the revered monarch offered the Lagos king a hand in greeting, he was snubbed. The disconcerting moment was captured on camera.

Tragedy was averted Tuesday morning when a 45-year old man was evacuated from a well. It was gathered that the incident occurred around 6.35 a.m. at No. 38 Kujore Street Ojota, Lagos.
Premium Times reports that the man, whose name is still unknown as at press time, was found inside the 160ft well, but the process leading to the event could not be ascertained.
Officials of the Lagos State Fire Service, LASEMA Response Team and other emergency responders, however, responded to the situation and rescued the man alive from the well.
However, the man sustained a right femoral fracture and left knee joint dislocation, sources said. He has been moved to the hospital for further treatment by the officials of the Lagos State Ambulance Service.
The General Manager LASEMA, Adesina Tiamiyu, who noted that proper investigation would be conducted on the incident, also advised Lagosian to report any strange activities around their environment to the relevant agencies or call the 767/112 emergency toll free number.

Senator Isiaka Adeleke died on Sunday, 23rd of April, 2017… and since his death, people have been pointing accusing fingers at his political colleagues.
Apparently, an alleged medical report from a new outlet claims that the 62-year-old politician died of a heart attack after an overdose of pain killers.
This information has failed to appeal to the conscience of his supporters who believe his death was a ploy to prevent him from becoming the governor of Osun State at the expiration of the tenure of Governor Rauf Aregbesola in 2018.

Late Senator Adeleke was a former governor of Osun and serving senator of Osun West. He died in the early hours of Sunday at a private hospital in Osogbo.
