Nigerian comic actor, John Okafor AKA Mr. Ibu in a recent interview, has revealed that he would have taken his life since 1997 due to the hardship he faced in life.
According to him, at that point in his life, things were so hard that he could barely afford to feed himself. To make matters worse, the actor said he had no roof over his head and suicide seemed like the easiest option.
Speaking to Saturday Beats, he says:
“Do you know that there was a day that I had prepared to kill myself in Ajao Estate? That day, I was prepared to jump into a well because of the situation that surrounded me.
Three days before that day, I had not eaten and I did not have hope of eating for the next week. I was only surviving on water and I hate it when I bother anyone.
Most of my close friends were not bothered about my well-being even though it was obvious that I was not alright. I remember December 18, 1997, a friend of mine who I squatted with called me in the morning and told me that he would be going home for Christmas and he did not want anyone to be in his room.
I assured him that no one would come to his place but he said he wanted me out of the room. I told him that I did not have another place to stay and he should trust me that as usual, I would take good care of the place. Though I was older than him, I did all the washing and cleaning of the house to the extent that I washed his panties and underwear.
I did that so that I could have a roof over my head. But out of anger, that my friend went into the house, brought out all my things and threw them outside, then he told me to leave his house, he locked his door and left.
“From where I was seated, I was looking at the well. I thought to myself, ‘is it not better to end my life by jumping into the well so that when people return in the evening and they need water, they would discover my body and my friend would know that he was the reason I committed suicide?’
I went to the well and as I opened the lid and prepared to jump inside, the image of my mother’s face flashed through my mind. I quickly closed the well and began to wonder how my mother knew that I wanted to kill myself.
My mother was still alive at the time; she was about 80 years old. I went back and leaned by the wall. A neighbour, Francis, was playing a song by Michael Bolton titled ‘When I am back on my Feet Again.’ The song gave me hope and I decided to stay alive,” he said.
Okafor said that after he had decided against killing himself, he needed to find somewhere to sleep and since he had no one to stay with; he opted to sleep under a lorry, a space where dogs used as their house.
He stayed there for a while till God sent a helper to him.
“I cleaned the place and was able to get some cartons which I used to do a tent. In the course of cleaning the place, I realised that it was dogs that used to sleep there at night but I had no choice.
One night, about 30 dogs were barking so no one could sleep so I had to move my cartons to another location. While I was changing my bearing, I saw some people gathering. I hid my cartons, went close to the place and saw that it was a movie audition. I saw some of my friends there like Pete Edochie, and a friend called Sandra Ezeh.
When Sandra saw me, she hugged me and said she was a big fan of my work especially my role in ‘Ikuku.’ She asked if I was doing anything and when I told her I wasn’t, she insisted that I accompany her to see her boyfriend.
Since I had no job, I followed her; beside, all I needed then was food. I was so hungry at the time that it began to affect my eye sight. Sadly, her boyfriend had travelled so she said we should go to see another friend.
We met the woman who owned a bar and when I asked for food, she said all she had was pepper soup and drinks. I told her to give me pepper soup and she was nice enough to tell them to give me two agidi with the pepper soup. After I ate the food, I fell into a deep sleep.
“When I woke up, I saw an address, 125 Adetola Street, then immediately, I remembered that a friend had called me asking me to stay in his house because he was travelling to Germany and that was the address.
Immediately I crossed the street and went to the house. When I got into the house, my friend, Frank, just got in from London. He was so happy to see me that he hugged me and we both fell to the ground. He then said that no matter where I was staying, I had to move into his house.
We went to pick my load from where I put it. Frank asked why my load was outside and I lied to him that I was preparing to travel. That was how he gave me a room in his flat. I prayed to God thanking him for saving me. He started taking me out and buying me clothes. It was from there I got my footing,” he said.
Terry Edwards murdered two Subway workers back in 2003. 14 years later, he has become the first death row prisoner to be executed under Donald Trump’s U.S. presidency.
Terry Edwards was a former employee of the sandwich food chain, who had been fired several weeks before the crime. He was caught stealing from the register.
He was executed by lethal injection in Dallas, Texas, on Thursday at 10.17 pm. His last words before dying were:
that he was “at peace with God”.
The victims’ families were present, but he did not turn to look at them. They released a statement stating,
“tonight is a time for us to remember Mickey and Tommy… Though this chapter of our journey is now over, we will always feel the loss of them in our lives.”
Edward’s murdered co-workers were Mickell Goodwin, a 26-year-old mother of two, and Tommy Walker, the 34-year-old store manager. He shot them both in the head.
The defense lawyers unsuccessfully tried to delay his execution. The time for his death was extended three hours, but in the end the proceeding began.
30-year-old Bosede Adelani was at a junction on Acme Road, Lagos when a man, Adepeju Olukokun, approached her. That was on the morning of Thursday, January 19, 2017,
A physically challenged woman, who had been surviving through the kindness of strangers, she believed that God had brought along a helper that morning.
“He sat beside me and asked if I needed a wheelchair and I told him that I already had one. He brought out a bundle of money and it surprised me because nobody had given me that much money before.
“But he continued holding the cash asking me questions. When I realised that he seemed to be really interested in what I needed, I then told him that I was setting up a shop to sell soft drinks. Through the money I made from alms, I had bought a freezer. All I needed was the shop. I told him this and he said okay.
“When he was leaving, he gave me two N500 notes from the bundle he was holding and I thanked him. He also dropped his phone number with me. He said I should call him by 4pm that day.”
Adelani said she was shocked few hours before that 4pm when she started receiving calls from family and friends asking about “the man who had made her rich.”
They said I was all over the internet.
Adelani said unknown to her, while Olukokun was holding a bundle of cash, speaking with her, another friend of his was nearby taking pictures and recording a video of the encounter.
Few hours after the man left, Adelani’s pictures and the video of how “her life changed” had started circulating on the internet.
Olukokun posted a series of pictures on his Instagram page with the caption:
“On my way to Ikeja, I met this beautiful woman on the road cripple begging and I have to stop by to ask her what she needs? She said a wheelchair and a shop and I told her all her desire would come through today. I feel happy #Kokun Foundation #EndingSolution.”
His Instagram page is filled with many other pictures of him in purportedly providing help to other people.
But Adelani said after she was alerted to the online photos, she contacted Olukokun, who told her to come to the office of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad if she still wanted his help.
“When I called back again, I wanted to beg him to pull down the pictures online because I did not want to become another stunt. He said I was disturbing him. It is not that I am an ingrate. I thank him for the N1,000 he gave to me. But I don’t want to be used for a publicity stunt,” Adelani said.
The woman said she was afraid for her life and fear attack by “area boys” in her neighbourhood who believe she is now rich.
PUNCH reports that when Olukokun was contacted, he explained that he was indeed interested in helping the woman but that after he posted the picture, a lot of people had called him to indicate that they had helped Adelani many times but she had refused to leave the street.
“She lied that I gave her N1,000. I actually gave her N4,000. I have helped many people. I told her to come to the SARS office so she could write an undertaking that if I helped her, she would leave the street. But she has refused to come,” he said.
Asked if he could simply pull the pictures he had posted on the social media down, Olukokun said the pictures were evidence of his works since he ran a non-governmental organisation.
Punch asked him why he could not simply wait till he had fulfilled Adelani’s wishes before posting the pictures, he said,
“Money is not easy to come by. Many people may see the pictures and want to help her more. Do you know that I can still get her arrested if she continued to stay on the street? I am still interested in helping her though.”
Olukokun did not agree to pull down the pictures but Adelani explained that she might be forced to report the matter to the police.
Folasade Fayemi, a housewife, on Friday urged a Customary Court at Agodi, Ibadan, to dissolve her three-year-old marriage, citing her husband’s decision to make his brother the next of kin.
Folasade also accused her husband, Temitope, of beating and harassing her. She said:
“My Lord, my husband bought a plot of land and put the name of his sibling as the next of kin without considering me and my son, who is the only child of the marriage.
“He loves his siblings and mother more than me, always in close contact with his mother and hardly tells me about his movements.
“Worse still, he beats me always and does not care about my welfare; the court should separate us since he prefers his mother and siblings to me.”
The husband, however, denied all the allegations and pleaded with the court not to separate them, saying “I still love her.”
The President of the court, Chief Mukaila Balogun, urged the parties to explore the possibility of reconciling, saying “the court is interested more in reconciliation and settlement of rifts between couple than dissolution.”
He urged the husband to make the move for reconciliation and report back to the court. The case has been adjourned to Feb 1.
Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie took to his social media accounts to share this photo of a 4 year old girl who mistakenly swallowed caustic soda and needs GHC15,000 for an immediate surgery.
Some Ghanaians got enraged that the rapper, with his status, asked the public to donate when he can pay the amount to save the little girl.
Several comments under his post condemned him saying he was very stingy and that looking at the amount of money he charges per show, GHC15,000 the little girl needs should be but a penny for him.
24-year-old Kenyan lady, Doreen Moraa, was born with HIV and has disclosed in an interesting interview with eDaily how she learnt of her status while still in primary school.
Her touching story serves as a great lesson for those who still treat HIV and AIDs like a death sentence. Doreen’s parents are a discordant couple, meaning one of her parents is HIV positive(+) and the other one is HIV negative(-).
She comes from a family of five siblings, one died a few years back. She is the only child in her family living with the virus.
About how she got to know of her status, Doreen said:
“When I was aged 12 and a pupil in Standard Seven. During one of my many hospital visits, I overheard my mum talking with my doctor. All along, I was visiting the hospital, but I did not know what exactly was wrong with me. I heard the doctor ask my mum: ‘When did you discover that she is HIV (Positive)?’’
“I did not even wait to hear my mum’s response. I was already confused. It found when we had already been introduced to HIV in class. So, our teacher made it sound like it was a death sentence. I was shocked to hear the doctor’s question directed at my mum. But after some time I thought to myself: maybe I heard the wrong thing. I thus brushed it off.”
“The following year, my mum went into coma. She was really sick. Actually, we had given up. We thought she was going to pass on. But then, she recovered. And after fully regaining her health, she took me to hospital, I got tested and the doctor disclosed to me my HIV status. He told me: ‘Doreen, you will have to take antiretroviral drugs for the rest of your life.”
Doreen’s dating life has not been easy because telling someone your status is rather scary because you are afraid of their reaction. She once dated a guy whom she disclosed her status to.
At first, he thought she was joking and so they went to get tested together. She came out positive and the guy was negative. He was shocked and couldn’t speak on their way home. With that, she feels challenged to disclose her status to someone because of their reaction.
As she went about her life and learning to deal with her status, she set up a group called Hope Alive. It is comprised of young people who spread the word that living positively is not the end of the world.
Moraa always encourage other people living with HIV and everyone saying,
“HIV is not a death sentence and the cure to HIV doesn’t lie in some laboratory in America, China, Korea or Britain.”
A 61-year-old South African man was killed, chopped to pieces and buried in a shallow grave — allegedly by his wife, as well as her boyfriend and a friend.
The chilling claims were made by the friend, who told police how he was duped into helping to bury Shelly Lekalakala by his wife and her boyfriend.

Shelly was reported missing by his 37-year-old wife on January 2017. By then he had already been dead for more than two weeks.
According to Temba police, a terrified man arrived at the police station on Wednesday to confess to being party to burying a body in the Bosplaas bushes.
Police spokesperson Kay Makhubela said the man told of how he was tricked into helping burying the body in what he initially thought was ritual practice.
He said he later learnt it was a horrible murder.
The man told police how he received a phone call on New Year’s Eve from a friend asking him to help carry a heavy metal bath into the bush nearby.
“It’s believed the guy who called the ‘confessor’ for help is the boyfriend of the deceased man’s wife,” said Makhubela.
When the man arrived at Shelly’s house in Ramotse, he found his friend and the victim’s wife wrapping objects and throwing them inside a metal sink.
When he questioned them what they were doing he was told not to worry and that it was a ritual for good luck since the woman was a traditional doctor in training.
The man who confessed unsuspectingly proceeded to help the duo and helped carry the metal sink to the bush, which is about 2km from the house.
“(He) told police the initial idea was to throw the metal sink inside a river. But they did not go ahead with that plan; the trio attempted to dig a hole instead,” said Makhubela.
“The trio didn’t finish digging the hole that night. They came back the next night,” he said.
It was on the second night that the confessor was highly suspicious and discovered that the wrapped-up objects were actually Shely’s body parts.
When he questioned the pair again he was told that he too would be killed and buried. Two weeks went by before the wife reported him missing.
Shelly’s Mother
Shelly’s mother, Johanna Hlongwane, said she became suspicious after not seeing the him for two weeks.
“I only saw the wife and her boyfriend playing music and having parties, but I had not a single sight of him,” she said.
She called his family who came to question the wife. But the family were not successful in getting answers.
“What is worse is that all three of them lived in the house and the slain man had been convinced that his wife’s boyfriend was just a tenant. They were playing him for a fool right under his nose,” said Hlongwane.
Two days before she last saw him he was also badly beaten by his wife and her boyfriend, Hlongwane said.
“One of my children stopped the beating,” she said.
Close friend Frank Motaung said the man worked at the Department of Public Works and was scheduled to go on pension. He had never had any children.
As Shelly’s body was pulled out of the crude grave in a bush in Bosplaas, Hammanskraal, his family members and neighbours could barely contain their tears as forensic officials dug up the body.
Community members admitted that they had always had a hunch that the wife was somehow involved, and so they mobilised and tried questioning her, but she called the police and was escorted away.
The wife and her boyfriend have not been seen since January 19. On Wednesday the man who went to police directed officers to the grave and on Thursday the police exhumed the remains. The man has been detained at Temba police station while the police search for the other suspects.
At the graveside the mood was sombre, as Shelly’s mother, two brothers, cousins and neighbours watched and waited for the remains to be brought out of the makeshift grave.
Shelly’s mother Elizabeth Lekalakala, said she felt lifeless and distraught.
“This is my fifth child to die. My boy was humble and kept to himself. Why would they do this to him?” she asked, almost close to tears.
A heartbroken wife from Zimbabwe has come forth with a very displeasing situation she is going through at marital home. Her abusive husband, a 32 year Peter Sibanda, brings all sorts of girls in their house, to have sex in front of her, so that she can “watch live and learn” how other women do it on her bed.
Peter Sibanda, calls his wife, Grace Nyoni, “lazy” when it comes to sexual performance. He has said he was tired of “boring bedroom sessions”, so decided to bring girlfriends over, so that her wife could observe and “learn some skills.”
He made Nyoni sleep on the floor when he is with other women on the bed.
“He doesn’t want to sleep with me in our bed, instead he prefers coming with girls to our home and says he’s doing me a favour by letting me see how other women are able to please their husbands. I’m no longer enjoying this marriage,” said Nyoni.
Nyoni turned to her mother-in-law, Eunice Sibanda, to tell about the delicate situation, and she got very angry at her son.
“I told him to stop it because there are diseases out there. I need grandchildren,” Mrs Sibanda commented.
The wife has even admitted Sibanda has forced her to comment which of the girls she considers to be the best, and which tips she learned.
“He forces me to comment on who’s the best among his girlfriends and how many concepts did I master during their act. He also forces me to wash the sheets, preparing for another girl who will come at night,” said Nyoni.
The sleep-around husband has no shame. He is of the view that one day his wife would learn something in all his actions.
Sibanda claims he loves his wife “more than she knows,” adding that he feels he is “not rude to her”. He simply thinks he found this “brilliant method” to teach her on sexuality.
“I love my wife more than she knows. I’m not rude to her but I found that way as a brilliant method of teaching her. If she thought I no longer liked her, I would have let her go long back,” explained Sibanda.
Everyone certainly amused after a couple held arguably Kenya’s simplest wedding – donning plain red t-shirts for their special day, the couple have now landed a huge surprise for themselves after their story went viral.
Several companies and individuals who fell in love with their humble wedding have come forward with offers of a fully paid luxury honeymoon and so much more.
Ann and Wilson Mutura had spent only KSh 100 for their nuptials officiated by a pastor going by the name Prince Jasper Ojwach on Facebook.
While Wilson wore a red t-shirt, khaki trousers and grey sneakers, the bride wore a similar top, a denim skirt and simple open black shoes.
Many people in Kenya and international community were so ecstatic about the wedding that here is so far, a list of offers the couple have gotten from the public. They are as listed by one Ndung’u Nyoro:
1. SLIQUE EVENTS PLANNER Ltd through M.D Aaltonen Jumba has offered a fully sponsored wedding to give Wilson & Anne an opportunity to celebrate with friends and family
2. BONFIRE ADVENTURES AND EVENTS through CEO Kabu Simon has offered an all expenses paid honeymoon package.
3. FINE CINEMA PRODUCTION through M.D Maureen Karee have offered make-up artist and free photoshoot on Valentine’s Day.
4. Lilian, a volunteer in U.S has pledged start-up capital for a small business whichever Anne will find appealing.
5. Moses Meingati has offered one goat as a wedding gift
6. Geoffrey Ngari has pledged a cake to the couple.
7. Derek Otieno, Wambui King’ori, Rosalind Njogu, Monica Chau and many others have pledged small tokens to celebrate this marriage
Husband Mutura narrates how their wedding happened as told by Ndungu Nyoro on Facebook:
In 2016, we started planning for our wedding, Pastor Jasper even started announcing in Church. We had planned for the wedding to be in December 2016 and every church member was looking forward to it.
Unfortunately we could not raise money for the wedding. I am employed to sell apples in a mkokoteni where I’m paid on commission. If I sell apples worth kshs 1000, I am paid kshs 100.
Having not raised the cash, we cancelled the wedding.
In as much as we couldn’t raise money, we still wanted to do it in a Godly way. We talked to our pastor about it and later visited our parents from both sides who okayed our move. They had no problem with us not paying dowry now, in fact they wanted it done later, something that made us happy.
On the material day, I had 200 shillings in my pocket. I went to church as usual but waited after praise and worship session when I dashed to a malimali shop where I bought my rings at KSh 100. The remainder is what we took for our first supper as a married couple.
A 28-year-old lady allegedly abandoned her husband’s home, dumped her two-year-old daughter in an orphanage and moved in with her fourth husband in Abuja.
Right now, police officers are working on figuring out why she did that, after a 34-year-old jail returnee, Paul Jubril reported that his wife, Blessing Ochonogor killed their daughter Ifeoma and fled to live with another man.
Saturday Sun gathered that the live-in-lovers were living on Jaja Street, Kubwa area of Abuja, with their two kids before Paul went to jail for an unknown offence.
Upon return from Suleja prison about two weeks ago, Paul, from Etsako LGA, Edo State, discovered that Blessing who hails from Benue state had fled their apartment with their two kids.
Speaking to Saturday Sun at the police station, Paul said,
“I went to Suleja prison. When I came back in January 2017, I couldn’t find my wife and two kids. It was later I heard that my daughter Ifeoma was at an orphanage home at Arab Road, Kubwa Abuja.”
While trying to consider what could have led Blessing to do what she did, Paul said,
“I remember we had a misunderstanding in 2015 but I didn’t know she would pack out of the house with our two children, Peter Smith who is seven years old and Ifeoma who is two years and three months.”
Police findings show that after leaving her husband’s home, Blessing who had had two kids for two men before moving in with Paul, took her baby to an orphanage home where she lied to them that the baby’s parents had died. After dropping the baby at the orphanage, she was said to have moved in with another of her suitors as her fourth husband.
It was not long before the baby began to grow lean and sick. Efforts by the orphanage to treat the baby led to the discovery that she had been infected with HIV.
This prompted officials to search for ‘the good Samaritan’ who brought the baby. When the baby was eventually returned to her, it was almost too late as she died soon after.
“I have to report the case at Kubwa phase 4 police station Abuja. I didn’t believe that my child could die of HIV. When I was going to prison in December 2016, my child was in good health. I don’t know why my child will die of HIV. I don’t have HIV, likewise, my seven years old son, Peter Smith. I want to know the cause of death of my child.
“My child is now at the mortuary at Kubwa General Hospital. Before I bury my child, I am still insisting to know what killed her. It is my girlfriend who is responsible for the death of my child”, the angry father lamented.
In her own account, Blessing Ochonogor told Saturday Sun that she was not legally married to Paul, adding,
“myself and Paul Jubril merely had boyfriend and girlfriend relationship.” According to her,:
“Suddenly, I discovered I have got two children for him.”
While justifying why she had to move out of Paul’s home, she said,
“Whenever I have a quarrel with my boyfriend, he used to beat me to a state of coma. When I couldn’t bear it anymore, I have to pack out from the house to sleep in an uncompleted building for three days.”
“When I could not bear it, I took my child Ifeoma to the orphanage home at Arab Road, Kubwa Abuja. I deceived them that the parents of the child are dead. It’s true, I didn’t go there to check my child, and I went only once. Later, I went to marry another man.
“Suddenly, the orphanage home called me that the child I brought to them was ill. I refused to go there initially but later I went and took the child to Gwarimpa General Hospital and they diagnosed her of HIV and we were referred to the National Hospital but in the process the baby died on December 2016”, she added.
Pleading innocence on the death of the baby, the Benue State-born mother of four added that,
“I never killed my child. It was frustration that prompted me to take the child to orphanage home. My Father and Mother are not living together. There is nobody I can handover my child to when I was in predicament. Since I am no longer with my boyfriend, he has threatened to kill me. Since the death of my child, my boyfriend has been accusing me of killing our child with HIV.”
“It is not possible to kill my own daughter. When life is so difficult for me, I have to marry another man. My boyfriend didn’t give us rest of mind since he came back from prison. My boyfriend has frustrated my life and I am not going back to his house again”, she stated.
When contacted, the FCT Police Commissioner, Mr. Mohammed Mustapha told Saturday Sun that his Command would encourage the duo of Paul and Blessing to settle their differences and bury the baby abandoned in the morgue.

A rooster has been jailed in Honduras after causing chaos when he invaded a neighbour’s field – the bird was caged by the police after its owner got into a fierce row with another man in the city of Trujillo in the northern Honduran department of Colon.
Officers incarcerated the cockerel after it raided a plot of land, climbing trees and shattering the peace with loud cries.
The land owner threatened to silence the offender – only for the owner to retaliate by warning:
‘If you kick the rooster I will kill you.’
The row escalated and concerned neighbours called police, fearing the men were about to hurt or even kill each other.
Instead of arresting the men, officials captured the rooster and took it to the local jail – promising to free him only when the men reached an agreement.
A picture shows the brown and black cockerel wandering around its cell and looking out through the bars.
Other pictures shows the chicken being checked in at the prison’s desk, and officers attaching an identity tag to its leg. The arguing men were not named in local reports.
Infamous Ghanaian pastor and counselor, George Lutterodt has caused a stir online after he said virgins are burdens and that 8 out of 10 men would tell you they don’t want virgins.
This happened while he was on air on Okay FM and the issue about prostitution and virginity arose. According to Lutterodt, most men don’t want to end up with the heavy task of taking women through sex education… Video below.
In another video, Lutterodt is also heard arguing that the Bible doesn’t condemn prostitution but rather condemns those who are quick to judge.

One Mohammed Bello of Bode Thomas Street, Surulere, Lagos State has been arrested for the alleged murder of a 32-year-old scrap collector, Ismaila Abdullahi.
He was apprehended along with one Tunde, who had fought with Abdullahi.
Bello had allegedly used a plank to hit Abdullahi on the head, which made him to slump and die afterwards.
PUNCH Metro reports that the victim, whose address had yet to be known, was scavenging at a rubbish dump around Ogudu Grammar School when an altercation broke out between him and Tunde, who reportedly challenged his movement in the area.
It was gathered that the disagreement led to fisticuffs during which one Olanrewaju called Bello to join him in separating the fighters. But the scrap collector reportedly felt that he had been humiliated by Tunde while Bello was separating them.
He was said to have abused the peacemaker, who became angry in the process and attacked him with a plank.
A mechanic in the area, who gave his name as Kehinde Bamidele, told Punch that Abdullahi collapsed and was rushed to the Gbagada General Hospital where he died.
He said,
“I don’t really know what led to the fight between Tunde and Ismaila (Abdullahi). But a friend said Tunde wanted to stop him from picking scraps. After Mohammed (Bello) had separated them, Ismaila started abusing him, saying Mohammed gave Tunde an advantage to punch him while separating them.
“Mohammed told Ismaila that he was rude to him and vowed to deal with him if he persisted. But he continued to abuse Mohammed, who became angry. He hit Ismaila with a plank on the head. He fell and later died at a hospital.”
Another eyewitness said the case was reported to policemen at the Area H Command, Ogudu, who arrested Bello and Tunde.
“Ismail is from the North. I only see him around; I don’t know his family,” he added.
In another development, a sales boy at a shop on Ojekunle Street, Papa Ajao, Mushin, has been beaten to death by a three-man gang.
The sales boy was sent on an errand to a neighbouring street, when the gang confronted him. The assailants were said to have beaten him up and stabbed him in the armpit and fled the scene.
“He had lost a lot of blood before he was taken to a hospital. He eventually died and his body was deposited at the Mainland General Hospital, Yaba for autopsy,” a police source said.
The source said one Adeshile, who was allegedly involved in the attack had been arrested, adding that the police were on the trail of two fleeing suspects.
The acting Police Public Relations Officer in Lagos, ASP Olarinde Famous-Cole, confirmed the Ogudu incident and promised to get back with comments on the sales boy’s murder.
Nothing is compared to the joy of marrying at the same time with any of your siblings, especially if you’re twins and all – these twins brothers are filled with that joy as they both got married at the same day.
Their pre-wedding photos are cute! Pretty wives they’ve got…
According to Nikia Marie Ingram, she never knew she’d be a victim of fruits that have been injected with substances, particularly, blood. She says her orange was injected with HIV blood.
Ghanaian Counselor Adofoli, shares that you shouldn’t marry anyone whose phone is password protected, he even uses scriptural references to back himself up.
Read below:
If you are single and thinking of marriage, then please don’t marry anyone who puts passwords or locks on their phone as a form of security to prevent you from accessing their conversations.
They can surely do this for other security measures, but you must not be the reason for this action.
I am very much aware that passwords or lock are for security purposes but one thing I don’t approve of is when a spouse becomes the reason for that security measure.
There is nothing like secrecy or privacy in marriage, let no one deceive you there is, and let no one tell you he or she is doing that to save you from getting hurt. Marriage is a holy institution, there is nothing like hiding. Marriage is made for life and one of the very things that can destroy it is acts of hiding things.
The bible says in Genesis 2:25 (TLB) “Now although the man and his wife were both naked, neither of them was embarrassed or ashamed”. What are you embarrassed or ashamed of your spouse seeing? If you can’t be truthful, honest and transparent with them, then there is no need getting married to them. It doesn’t matter how you feel about them.
Mark 10:8 (NLV) says “The two will become one. So they are no longer two, but one”. I therefore suggest to you, if he or she is hiding things from you, it simply means they don’t want to become one with you. Such a marriage won’t last.
