A member of Nigerian Single Mother’s Association, Funmi Akinyode @fumsky has penned down a letter to Big Brother Naija Housemate, Bisola for giving a married and father of two, Thin Tall Tony a BJ on live TV.
The letter reads:
“Dear @iambisola, we the association of single parent are disappointed with your act on national TV few days ago.. I followed you because of your presence on social media. Anytime I go through your page whenever am tired from work or bored, I can’t help but laugh and still praise you… When I now found out that you are a single mother and doing well for yourself with over 100,000 thousands loyal followers I said to myself, Funmi, when will you get here?.
After what you did, I wonder what you do on a good day when no one is watching. While you were giving someone a head on national TV, weren’t you thinking of throat cancer?Don’t you love the daughter you hustling for that much how she will feel when she grows up? (Even the so-called married man doesn’t even know if you have epileptic diseases and he left his private part to a total stranger..)after 10years when your princess is all grown up, someone somewhere will bring this act of yours, and she will never forgive you for this stupid act.
Bisola, once you are a mother or father, your life, and what you do doesn’t belong to you 100percent.. again. You must live a good legacy for your children to follow. What will you tell little princess if she comes home and tells you she gave someone she just met at a party a BJ when she grows up?
Bisola, I dunno know how you were brought up but your life can be better, and you can make it better than your parent.
Dear Bisola, the deed has been done. When you get out of big brother Nigeria, just go to GOD and ask him for forgiveness he’s ever faithful and merciful. He will cleanse all sins and make your part straight again.. Just keep doing what you good at.. Make us laugh again..
GOD loves you and am still a loyal fan.”
Wife of the Benue State Governor, Eunice Ortom, has appealed to Tor Tiv-elect, James Ayatse, to review bride-prices in Tiv land, to enable young men get married “when due”.
Mrs. Ortom made the appeal on Tuesday, when she paid a courtesy visit to the Tor Tiv-elect in Makurdi. She decried the high demands made on young men seeking to marry Tiv daughters, and described the situation as “very discouraging”.
“Such high demands discourage many bachelors from even attempting to get married; the result is that many young girls cannot find husbands,” she said.
The governor’s wife argued that such exorbitant charges were not part of Tiv culture.
“Such charges are imported; our traditional rulers should discard them,” she said.
While noting that bride-price payment was sacrosanct, she cautioned parents against selling their daughters “especially since the relationship between in-laws remains, long after such marriage rites”.
She said she regretted that many young men now preferred to elope with their loved ones owing to such huge monetary demands, and stressed the need to make the process affordable so as to restore the sanctity of the marriage institution.

The two celebs have something in common though, “Controversy” – in a new Instagram post, the OAP calls the 52 year old journalist an “insane woman on the loose” and says it isn’t such a bad thing.

But come to think of it, Its not entirely bad to be insane.

Albert Einstein smoked butts of cigarettes he picked from the floor, was once scribbling a mathematical equation on a car in traffic, and started running after the car scribbling away as it drove off. He divorced his wife Mavic, to marry his cousin Elsa. He was totally MAD! Yet despite all this, he changed the world of physics with his relativity theory.

Howard Hughes would lock himself in a room for months on end, naked, not letting anyone come in, urinating in bottles not having his bath in weeks, yet he was the richest man in the world, he was a test pilot, who owned his own airline and flew many test flights, crashing badly in one!Howard was a complete lunatic, yet he changed the face of aviation and entrepreneurship.

Galilei Galileo was considered mad for daring to declare that the world round, and was made to publicly denounce this ‘blasphemous’ statement! It took normal ‘sane’ people about 100 years to catch up with that mad man!

Isaac Newton was another mad person who was born on the same day the other mad man, Galileo, died. Although renowned for his unpredictable and irrational behavior, Newton was single-handedly responsible for laying the the groundwork in classical mechanics, optics, and even mathematics.

Vincent van Gogh was an absolute maniac, out of anger or frustration, it is alleged that he once cut off his own ear. Not one sane person bought his paintings while alive, yet today his portrait of Dr. Gachet sold for $82,500,000 the equivalent of more than 8 of those $9.8 million NNPC boss Yakubu safes, is what sane people paid for a single drawing of a mad person.

Samuel Morse, the man who invented both the telegraph and the morse code was a confirmed nutter, yet so many sane people enjoyed his work.

Maybe our ‘sanity’ is what is restricting our breakthrough. Perhaps, a little madness is what we need!
Our sanity took us into recession, maybe insanity can invent something that will bring us out! ~FRZ”
He has a purpose, so let’s give him an E for effort! What if you came across the beggar, what’d be your reaction? His reason fair enough for you to patronize him?
Twitter user @Kparaga, shared the tweet that is obviously self explanatory – this is what the recession has caused, they should have kuku given him the money instead of buying cake… Lol.
The young boy who was found hawking on the streets of Cross River about a month ago, has been gracefully taken from the streets and been put in school.
Facebook user, First Baba Isa shared the joyful story on Facebook alongside photos. He wrote:
HURRAY! THE HAWKER KID IS IN SCHOOL
Do you remember that little boy I met hawking in Ogoja about a month ago? He is now in school. One of the best private schools in Ogoja where he is given one full meal a day and the school bus also picks him up daily to go to school. He has been issued uniforms, textbooks and exercise books. Our little chap is on his way to greatness. I’m so excited!
When I met this little cutie hawking when he was suppose to be in school, my heart broke. The father initially resisted my initial move to help. We went past that and here we are. I’m not a millionaire but the little we have, we can share. We can’t save the thousands of kids hawking on our streets but for this one, we have taken him off the streets. And by the grace of God he will stay off the streets and study up to the university.
We didn’t do this alone. We just couldn’t. When I wrote about this kid, many persons supported me with kind words and holy anger… Some did more. Ofem Ekapong Ofem, Okoi Eduson, Peter Offem Ubi, sent in money to support his schooling. Thank you my brothers. The little you sent went a long way. Ofem Ekapong Ofem has even pledged to send in a token every term for his school fees. God bless you sir.
I want to specially thank Faith Nwaozuzu, for being a main driver of this project. I salute you Ma. The kid is surely in safe hands.
We can be the change we want to see in the world.
Ladies and gentlemen, thanks for always being there… Oya let’s prophesy what course this kid will end up reading in the university. You can wish him well by addressing him with the title of the profession you wish for him.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is one of the most prominent faces on the entertainment scene after he left the Big Brother House a decade ago, which had other housemates like; Katung, Gideon Okeke, Francisca and others.
Although he did not win the show, Ebuka has become a media personality of note, contributing to several online publications and hosting several events. He is currently the host of the Big brother Naija 2017.
Checkout this throwback video of when he was evicted from the show in 2006:
First lady, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, has advised Nigerians to emulate her husband by never giving up on their dreams and aspirations.
According to her, her husband became Nigeria’s president in 2015 due to his doggedness, persistence and compassion for the masses.
Speaking in Abeokuta on Tuesday during the inauguration of a book titled, “Buhari vs Yar’Adua: Facing the future,” written by Mr. Opeyemi Soyombo, the Special Assistant on Media to Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State, Buhari’s wife represented by the wife of the Ogun State governor, Olufunso Amosun, commended the efforts of the author, who documented the legal struggles of her husband in the 2007 election petition challenging the victory of the late President Umaru Yar’Adua.
Buhari eventually lost the case despite moving from the Court of Appeal to the Supreme Court, trying to prove that he won the 2007 presidential election.
He, however, never gave up on his presidential ambition.
Aisha noted that the importance of record-keeping could not be overemphasised because without it, history would be distorted.
She said there were lots of lessons to learn from the life of President Buhari who contested presidential elections four consecutive times before he eventually won in 2015.
She said,
“There are lots of lessons to learn from the life of President Muhammadu Buhari, most especially his doggedness and compassion for the masses. President Buhari contested presidential elections four consecutive times before he eventually won in 2015.
“His victory has paid off, considering his passion to help the masses and, most importantly, the successes recorded in the anti-corruption war of his government.
“I commend the efforts of the writer for documenting the presidential election suit between the candidate of the All Nigeria Peoples Party, General Muhammadu Buhari, and President Umaru Yar’Adua of the Peoples Democratic Party in 2007.
“This shows that the author has been following with keen interest the elections held in the country and the petitions arising from them. In most recent shared views and writings on human and societal developments, the investment made in other people gives tremendous yields; thus the facts and the authenticity of the book are invaluable.”
So a barber made this ‘hand of God’ haircut happen on a young lad’s head and Twitter user @ToneC2X shared the photos on the platform which had people “falling off their chairs in laughter”.

Zimbabwe President, Robert Gabriel Mugabe, turned 93 years old yesterday and had a birthday party organized by his staff at his Munhumutapa offices in Harare.
An unsmiling Robert Mugabe can be seen in the video below blowing out the candles on his 93rd birthday cake as a choir crooned “How old are you now Baba (father)” and “We wish you many more years”.
Mugabe’s son-in-law Simba Chikore hovered at the president’s elbow as he blew out the candles.
So the Ex- Big Brother Naija housemate, was at the Beat Fm studio today and he met with OAP Toolz – the media personality shared a video reporting Soma to her husband Capt. Tunde, for saying he wants to kill her in ways… and also kill essential body parts.
She says she finds his words shocking and appalling, she also tagged Banky W in the video who reacted. Read what she wrote and watch the video below:
‘@captdemuren My dear husband, I met Soma this morning, and what he said to me was both shocking and appalling. I felt so violated….I actually was in tears.
Please handle this as you see fit.

In a case that has left many people in shock, four female sperm harvesters pounced on an unsuspecting Zimbabwean teacher last Friday evening and reportedly kidnapped, drugged and “gang-raped” him.
After the attack, the teacher was left naked in a bush with bruised private parts and woke up feeling extremely weak on Saturday morning.
According to local media, the teacher was intending to travel to Bulawayo on Friday night when he was given a lift by the group of women who were travelling in a Toyota Quantum with South African number plates.
The victim said the women were speaking IsiNdebele and another language that he could not understand. They sexually abused him for hours.
The women are said to be light skinned and police in Lupane are investigating the matter.
A Nigerian man, who is tired of the nation’s epileptic power supply has installed a windmill so he can generate his own electricity.
His neighbour Deji Garuba shared the story on Instagram, writing:
My neighbor has had enough of #PHCN wahala. The guy just installed a windmill to generate power. We haven’t had #PHCN power for more than 30hrs in the last one year, the cost of running generators is neck breaking. This is what my dear country has become, electricity has become space science that the government can not easily provide or even encourage efficient private sector participation in the provision of power. God help us all!
Activist, Emeka Ugwuonye shared the photo of the domestic violence victim after some people disagreed with him for getting a man who brutally beat up his wife locked up in a police cell.
He had narrated how he had the violator arrested by a female police officer in Port Harcourt, his action caused some people to react, questioning him why he had to take such measures, saying it won’t solve the problem.
In his defense, Emeka then shared the photo of the brutally beaten lady and asked what they would do if the lady in question were to be their sister or relative.
Chukwudi Iwuchukwu shared a post on his Facebook page, questioning the Big Brother Housemate, who obviously can’t see it just yet, but we’re wondering if you agree with him…
Cause logically speaking, Tayo Faniran at that time, had his beau as his fiancee, so he could as well as decided to play dirty but he didn’t… TTT on the other hand, has a wife and two kids and we all know what’s going down.
Read Chukwudi’s post and tell us if you’re in accordance with him:
Bisola asked TTT yesterday if he is a single man and he said: “By the grace of God he is single”
You see how a married man denied his wife and 3 kids on a live TV.
If you think TTT is playing a game, Tayo Faniran was a Big Brother Africa housemate in 2013. Before he went for the show, his fiancée gave birth to a bouncing baby boy.
Tayo respected the fiancée all through the game and told all who cared to hear that he has a woman at home that just gave birth to his baby.
It did not stop Tayo from playing his game. He came second and nearly missed the star prize by whisker.
Compare him to TTT that has not mentioned his wife and kids to anybody.
Back then in the law school, I met shameless married men that denied their partners because of Law school hot babes.
One approached my friend Ifeoma with the cock and bull story that he is looking for a wife, meanwhile he has a wife at home with 2 beautiful kids at home.
No doubt about this, TTT is playing fans and the wife may approve what he is doing but his behavior mirrors what many married men do in this country, they deny that they are married because of a hot Instagram babe.
Well!
Nigerian Instagram user, @Georgeangel_ was shocked to the bones when a man she had ignored on social media, after he told her ‘I love you’, wished her death before the end of this month!

Wasiu Aliyu, a driver at the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), is in trouble after he woke up at his lover’s house on Assfood street, Oriola, Alapere, Lagos and discovered that the staff bus, N23m Toyota Hiace, had been stolen.
According to Punch, Aliyu, a casual worker, was arraigned on Monday on two counts of stealing in an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court.
A neighbor of the girlfriend had alerted the father of two children, around 4am that he saw some strange faces inside the bus. As Aliyu rushed out to know what was happening, the thieves reportedly zoomed off.
The 36-year-old indigene of Ilorin, Kwara State, was said to have reported the alleged theft at the Alapere Police Station and informed a manager of Doset Civil Engineering, which owned the vehicle.
Aliyu told the police that he had been driving the bus for over three years, stating that he had no hand in the stealing.
He said:
“I was employed by the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation as a casual worker sometime in 2014. At about 8pm on January 21, I went to my girlfriend’s house in Oriola to pass the night. A man came to wake me up around 4am that he saw sys inside the bus. Before I got to where the bus was, they had left with it. It was a mistake that I parked the bus on the street becaome bouse there is no security there.”
The manager, Osele Philips, in his statement, stated that a specific and safe garage was provided for the driver to park the vehicle, saying the company suspected a foul play.
Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has described the phenomenon of fake news as one of the greatest threat to the country.
Speaking in Abuja at the seventh edition of the National Security Seminar, the minister listed five fake news which had been in circulation recently.
According to him,
“Regrettably, fake news is circulated worldwide through the means of the social media and it travels faster.
Only recently, we have to refute the fake news that Nigeria today is the most difficult place for Christians to live (1).
There was also the fake report that the armed forces of Nigeria armed the Fulani herdsmen and instigate them to carry out attacks (2).
All these news are unfounded, fake and has the capacity to set one religion or group against the other,’’ he said.
The minister said the most recent of such disinformation was the news of the alleged killing of some members of a pro-Biafra group, the Indigenous People of Biafra (3).
He also recalled the recent visit by two leaders of All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu and Bisi Akande to President Muhammadu Buhari in London which the champions of disinformation claimed it never happened (4).
He said similarly, it took the intervention of the US government to set the record straight through a release that its President, Donald Trump truly had a telephone conversation with President Buhari (5).
Members of the House of Representatives expressed shock on Tuesday that the Presidential Committee on North-East Initiative budgeted N60m to award contracts to cut grasses in communities ravaged by Boko Haram insurgents this year.
The development is coming while the controversy generated by a similar contract worth over N200m awarded by the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Babachir David-Lawal, has yet to abate.
The N60m in the 2017 budget of PCNI is to cover contracts to cut “shrubs, grasses and trees” along the Maiduguri-Mama Road alone.
Lawmakers picked out the figure when the PCNI appeared before the House Committee on Internally Displaced Persons to defend its N45bn on humanitarian assistance, rehabilitation and resettlement of displaced villagers.
The Chairman of the committee, Mr. Sani Zoro, and other members were alarmed over the allocation.
“You can’t travel this same way (awarding contracts on grasses) again; it is not acceptable.
“Why can’t you assign this duty to the military to do it for you?
“They can use their personnel to clear the grasses and you can drop this idea of awarding contracts with N60m.”
Members were also worried that most provisions in the N45bn budget were for “security” and procurement of equipment for military services as against providing shelter, food, hospitals and schools for displaced persons.
“Your duty, from what we understand, is to provide succour for the displaced persons. These people are traumatised and they need urgent basic amenities as they return home. Rehabilitation has to do with their survival as human beings first,” Zoro added.
Members said several provisions appeared questionable.
Zoro noted,
“Maybe, you must first give us the mandate of the PCNI. You have N184m for screening programme for humanitarian activities.
What does that mean?
“There is N150m on advocacy and early warning system and N165m for conflict management.
“You are going to deliver security equipment for N200m. What type of security equipment? Then another N2.5bn for security outfits.
“Are you telling us that part of your role is to fund the operations of the military in the North-East? The military have their own budget already.
“Why are you not talking about food, shelter, medical care and schools for these IDPs?
Some Nigerians were taken aback to see a rare photo of a traditional chief from Imo state, plaiting his wife’s hair.
The traditional chief from Ekwe Kingdom in Imo State with the name, Mel Adiegwu shared the photos on Facebook, which caused people to react, most especially his village people.
Deducing from his profile, the chief spends time in Chicago in the United States, but that doesn’t stop him from breaking tradition by plaiting his wife’s hair regularly.
In spite of people reminding him that he is traditional chief, Mel, was not ashamed of showing love to his wife.
Nollywood actor and actress Empress Njamah‘s brother, John Njamah took to his Facebook page to urge married women to not only tell their single friends about the good sides of marriage, but should also tell them about the conflicts and uncertainties.
He wrote on his wall:
“This is a call from my heart to all married women with single friends. Tell them the truth about MARRIAGE. Stop telling them only about the nice parts, the new car, trips outside the country, the cute kids, rich husband etc. Tell them how being a wife/mother is a full time job. Tell them about the sleepless nights, the vigils, the uncertainties, the conflicts, etc. Above all let them understand its not earned nor is it by Beauty or Brains, neither is it by how good you are in the bedroom. It is only by grace and grace alone. Tell them it is achieved only by being on your knees to God and by assuming your ROLE as a wife/mother. Tell them that real homes are built with patience and strength and not by designer clothes and bags. Husbands are not Atm machines, they are our friends and sons and God’s representatives in our homes. Enough of this flash and class about marriage. It is a UNION not a SOCIAL network platform. I rest my case. Good day people..”
The controversial and outspoken ex-housemate, who always had tongues wagging while she was still in the house, is photoed here for the first time after leaving the big brother house, at the airport as she heads back home.

The Kentucky based burn survivor shared side by side photos of herself at the intensive care unit and herself now and wrote:
“A little over a year ago I managed to escape my house fire, I had little to NO chance of living, i was put on life support and a priest was standing in my hospital room with my family anxiously waiting to see if I would be called to the Lord or not. Thankfully God allowed to give me another chance at life and I have to thank him for that. Never question the abilities that our Lord and savior can make happen.
