In a new post on her website, she devotes the write-up to single girls on, even though she’s in a relationship with an NBA star, Tristan Thompson.
She wrote:
‘Being single can be great. It can be a time to rediscover yourself, dedicate precious time to being selfish and enjoying your freedom!”When you’re with somebody for so long, there’s a transition from being part of a couple to being single, but you need to gather yourself back together again without depending on anyone else.
‘You are truly who you are when you are alone!’This was the time that I enjoyed being totally selfish.’ ‘I recommend listening to sad music sometimes. You just need to cry it out and that’s OK!’The best way to get over a man is to get under another one!’
“If you’re seconding the motion, raise your hands…. *Cricket sounds*“
Some suspected armed robbers have written some Lagos residents urging them to prepare to pay season’s dues to them on a date not mentioned.
Residents of Joseph Harrison Estate, Yaba area of Lagos State got the letter from the bandits on Wednesday notifying them of their impending attack to collect their “dues” for the festive season.
NAN gathered that the letter was placed on the vehicle of one of the residents and was discovered in the morning when he was about to wash his car.
”We are coming this week to collect our dues and to visit you tenants and landlords of Joseph Harrison Street in the week. If you like go and bring police or soldiers, we are coming to perform our duties. “If you cooperate, we will not kill, but if you fail to cooperate, blood will flow,” the letter said.
Mr Bolanle Akinyemi, Chairman, Community Development Association said the estate had enjoyed some peace for a long while as it was protected by guards and the police from Sabo Police Post.
”We are also mindful of the slum that surrounds us and we have been conscious of suspected criminals,” he said. “No one has received such letter before, but there was a case in 2013 when a company in the estate was robbed,” he said.
The chairman said they have reported the threat to Sabo Police Division and more guards have been engaged at the estate. Concerned residents urged the commissioner of police, Fatai Owoseni to deploy more men to patrol the estate regularly.
This has got to be the most disgusting punishment ever yo!
Locals from a village in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, caught a man in the act of attempting a theft according to People’s Daily.
But instead of handing him straight over to the police, the man was forced to stand in a septic tank that’s filled with excrement. The shocking photos showed the humiliated man standing in the middle of the pit of excrement.
The foul-smelling concoction covered him up to his chest and he attempted to hide his face while villagers took his photograph.
And there I was thinking she had a dozen babies inside her! Hmph! Figment of my imaginations eh?! – the lady gave birth to a bouncing baby girl after 12 hours of labour…
Veteran Nollywood actor, Obi Madubogwo, is currently battling diabetes and needs support from well meaning Nigerians. According to Apga Alaigbo who shared the photos,
A shocking new twist from Us Weekly seems to give confirmation of the news, claiming the reality TV star has been “feeling trapped” in her marriage for some time and is plotting her exit.
According to sources, Kim is playing the “supportive wife” during Kanye’s recovery, but is low-key laying the groundwork to file for a divorce and keep full custody of her kids in the mean time.
“She wants a divorce,” a Kardashian friend claims. “It will take some time before she can do anything,” the pal adds, but says she’s building her case to retain full custody of their kids North West and Saint West. “She doesn’t want to stay married,” the friend says inequivocably.
Indeed, Kim has already begun distancing herself from her husband of over two years. Last week, it was revealed that Kanye didn’t return to their shared home following his release from the hospital, and is getting outpatient care at a rental house because Kim “is being very protective and doesn’t want Kanye around the kids right now.”
The Kardashian friend says she won’t make any decisions until West is fully recovered. Until then, adds the pal,
“she’s being a supportive wife. She cares about Kanye and feels relieved he’s getting the help he needs, but she’s felt trapped for a while.”
The story is quite a sad one and at the same an eye opener!
A Nigerian guy (Name withheld) who is in a confused state has written exclusively to us to help him share his story.
He says his girlfriend (now babymama) is demanding the sum of N200,000 Naira before he can see a picture of his baby. One thing you should know is that He didn’t know when his girlfriend put to bed because of her passive-aggressive towards him.
You’ll need to read his story and fully digest what actually happened before judging whosoever..
Here it goes:
Sometime last year! My girlfriend got pregnant for me, we both school in Ghana!! (“Name of school withheld”)
We dated for like 2 months before we both traveled to Nigeria on vacation, a month later she found out that she was pregnant & told me.. We both agreed to keep the pregnancy, but the thing is, throughout our stay in Nigeria she never met my mum because we’re both from different States..
The girl persuaded me to tell my mom about the pregnancy.. I did just that.. My girlfriend spoke with my mom & she asked her to keep the pregnancy..
A month later we both returned back to Ghana, & she started acting funny, she was avoiding me… Whenever I call, she doesn’t pick up & when she eventually does, the first word she utters is “what”?
This continued for quite some time.. So, I gave up calling her.. 6 months later, I traveled back to Nigeria to see my mom, and went back to Ghana.. I bought baby stuffs for my unborn baby & called her to come collect it.. she came around, I gave her the baby stuffs with some money.. Weeks later I called her to come collect another money, but she refused insisting that I must bring the money to her myself.. This brought up another quarrel & we both stop communicating till February this year when she called me in the early hours of 6am that she has put to bed…
I rushed down to the the hospital with my friend to give her some money & also see my baby, ( a son ).. But surprisingly she didn’t let me touch the boy or snap him, she ended up embarrassing me & went as far as refusing the money I gave her. I had no other option than to drop the money beside the baby, & quietly walked away with my friend… Hours later I called to confirm from her if she’s still at the hospital or if she has returned home… But she just hissed & hunged up on me…this continued till I gave up on her & the boy….
Fast forward to months later…
November to be precise!! We’ve been chatting on WhatsApp, all I want is to take care of my son since she insist I am the father of her baby, the only time I set my eyes on my son was at the hospital, & ever since then I haven’t set eyes on him again.. Right now I am so curious to know what my boy looks like…but she wouldn’t just show me a picture of my son…. Funny thing is she’s demanding for 200k: two hundred thousand naira before she can send me a picture of my son. Me being curious to know what my son looks like now, I offered to pay her 800ghc & later made it 1000ghc which is about 100 thousand naira, but she insists that I must pay 200 thousand naira..
Right now I’m confused and I need your advise. Should I bribe her to see my own son’s pictures or I shouldn’t?
Ace comedian cum actor, Alibaba received the text message above this morning and has decided to address on his page. He wrote:
“I must have addressed this before… but I guess, it needs re-addressing. Generosity is not a must. It’s advised. But it’s not a must. That said, when you have worked hard to achieve some comfort for yourself, it’s expected for you, to spread the love. The most difficult part of generosity is not how much you give, it is who do you give and who do you not give.
I have on my own benefited from so much generosity and it is a given that I must return the favour. However, a certain group of people, believe that once they ask you, you must give. It doesn’t matter whether they deserve it or not. In fact, if you refuse to give them when they ask, they immediately conclude that you are stingy. They go spiritual on you and make you realize how IT’S NOT BY YOUR POWER THAT YOU MADE IT.
Agreed that God makes everything possible, but are you now saying it’s God’s power that made you not make it? Because if one goes by that belief, then whoever made it made it by God’s grace. So whoever did not make is by whose Grace? When I saw this message this morning, I thought to myself, what are the criteria that people use to judge whether you are generous? I asked myself, are there laid down must do that qualify you as generous?
I may have been operating the wrong way. I forwarded the text to someone I look up to and he replied, “Ali, your generosity is to God and no one else. Do it because of God. When humans need you to be generous to them to show you are generous, you will fail.” HE proceeded to send me about 15 text messages he got in November. All the requests totalled N4.6m.
And he added, that November in question, all in, he made N2.3m… when he took out tithes, sorted out the compulsory expenditure, took out savings, met his recurrent pledges to some institutions, he had 260k. He asked me, “Where does he start from reducing that N4.6m that is demanded of him?” He said he looked at all of the requests and he picked the ones that he considered PRIORITY. This December, one request alone that he got on the 2nd, was for 850k. And the month never start. I just phewed and decided to share. What’s the sharing formula in the generosity equation. Who must you hep?”

But when the housemate denied entering her room, she and her boyfriend began putting a shoe behind the door, knowing it would move it the door was opened. Sure enough, every day the shoe moved from its spot.
Determined to catch the make-up thief, Sarah then bought a webcam and set it up in the corner. At first, the camera caught exactly what Sarah intended it to – her female roommate coming into her room and using her things.
But what it captured next that will haunt everyone that watches the footage. Her male housemate can be seen coming into her room, going into her bathroom, and pulling his trousers down in the corner.
The man then stands there for around 20 seconds without moving, before his hand reaches out and takes a toothbrush from above the sink.
He then moves it over toward his crotch and out of shot, before replacing it moments later and walking out. She said they moved out a day later, having bought new toothbrushes, but did not mention if the landlord or police decided to take any action.

“Having gone through hardship and deprivation, we have remained stronger. So, as survivals, Ndigbo the world over should rise up and just keep going forward.”

Popular comedian, Seyi Law, has denied recent comments that he set out to deliberately mock singer, Tiwa Savage and her estranged husband, Teebillz.
He was accused of being insensitive and making fun of them few weeks ago when he took to his Instagram page to celebrate Tiwa Savage and Teebillz’s wedding anniversary despite the couple completely ignoring the day.
Reacting to the allegations in a chat with Broadway Africa TV, Seyi Law said that he was a very close friend of the couple and could not possibly be mocking them.
He said, “I was there at their traditional wedding, I was the MC and aside from that I am quite closed to the family. Teebillz is my friend and Tiwa Savage is my sister, people might not really know that but we are very close. When I talk about Tiwa Savage, I am talking about somebody that is extremely respectful which is something that I love about her and for me every marriage has its troubles and the ability to live above these troubles is what keeps us together.
“Nobody is perfect, I’d love to have them together, mistakes have been made but they can be corrected and the devil of today might be the best angel tomorrow and who says they can’t come back tomorrow? It was just me trying to chip something in to say, we still love you, we still want you together, it will be my joy to see them back together. It doesn’t have to be in the social media. The most important thing is that they are there for their kids.”

“We will pay you all monies you are being owed as soon as we receive same from the Government, just as we paid the U17 boys who won the Fifa U17 World Cup in Chile last year, after the tournament.
“And just as we sorted out Coach Samson Siasia’s wages as soon as we had the funds, after the Olympics.”

The three men alleged to have kidnapped and killed the human resources manager of the Dangote Industries Limited, Istifanus Bello, have said he was murdered for bringing incomplete ransom.
The suspects – Abdullahi Saliu, Babuga Adamu and Abubakar Gide – told PUNCH Metro that Bello got them angry after bringing N5.6m instead of the N10m agreed for the release of four expatriates earlier kidnapped by their gang.
They said Bello was killed after he had been held for three days because he allegedly refused to call his employer to pay the balance of N4.4m.
Bello had gone to the Ijebu-Igbo area of Ogun State with N5.6m as ransom payment for the four expatriates. While the foreigners were released, he was abducted and later killed. His corpse was reportedly recovered from a river by the police.
Investigations by the Abba Kyari-led Inspector-General of Police Intelligence Response Team resulted in the arrest of Saliu, Adamu and Gide in Lagos, Kwara and Ogun states.
The men, who were Fulani herdsmen, were on Tuesday transferred from the Force headquarters in Abuja to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Ikeja, Lagos, pending the conclusion of investigation.
In an exclusive chat with Punch, one of the suspects, who spoke in Yoruba, said 10 of them carried out the operation.
Twenty-year-old Saliu, an indigene of Kano State, said they were led by one Alti, who fired the shot that killed Bello.
He said:
“We were 10 that carried out the operation and we were all fully armed. We had attacked and abducted the four expatriates while they worked in a quarry located in a forest in Ijebu-Igbo; they were guarded by two policemen who had an AK-47 rifle and a pump-action rifle. We surrounded the quarry, overpowered the policemen and took one of their rifles. We didn’t touch them.
“We then moved the expatriates into the forest where we fed them with bread and soft drinks. We made contact with their families and the company and demanded N30m ransom. We later reduced the money to N20m and then N10m.
“Some days later, the man (Bello) brought N5.6m. Our leader, Alti, was angry and after releasing the four expatriates, he seized the man. He said he must call his family members or the firm to pay up the remaining N4.4m or else he would be killed in three days. But the man said he does not have any number to give us and he does not have any money. After the three days elapsed and nobody came for him, he was shot dead.”
Saliu said he was paid N150,000 from the ransom after which he left the group.
PUNCH Metro learnt that the suspects dumped the victim’s corpse in a river and tied it to a log to prevent the corpse from floating.Another suspect, Adamu, 25, said he had persuaded Alti against killing the victim, adding that the leader rebuked him.
He added:
“I was given N190,000 for my role. I still have the bulk of the money. When the man brought the ransom, I was the one that led the group to take the money. I was able to do this because I have lived in Ijebu-Igbo for over 10 years; I was brought up here.
When Alti insisted on killing the man, I told him to take the man far from where our cows graze; I said it was none of my business if he killed him,”
The third suspect, 24-year-old Gide, from the Gumi Local Government Area of Sokoto State, said Adamu made him to join the group. He said his role was to buy food for the expatriates.
A source told PUNCH Metro that the police and some vigilance group members had first apprehended Saliu and transferred him to the Ogun State Special Anti-Robbery Squad, adding that when they didn’t have a breakthrough, the IGP team was invited.
He said:
“After we intervened, Saliu confessed to us and took us to where the man’s corpse was. It was already decomposing when we found it. Fish had even picked out his eyes. We contacted some council officials, who removed the corpse and deposited it in a mortuary from where some employees of the Dangote company picked it.
“From the information we gathered, we arrested Adamu’s brother, who gave us his address in a forest in Epe, Lagos. We got him arrested around 2am while he was fast asleep with other herdsmen in an open space.
“We later moved to Kwara State to arrest the last suspect, Gide. A policeman had pretended that he had a special assignment and he needed a woman and a hotel to stay in, and since Gide was very familiar with the area, he believed he could help out. After dribbling us for three days, he finally showed up and we arrested him.
“We are still searching for the remaining seven suspects, including the one with the police gun which they took at the quarry; and we will get them.”
The Force Public Relations Officer, Donald Awunnah, said investigations were ongoing.
Tell me really, what’s your excuse?! This should be a source of motivation and inspiration for you! There’s no limit to what we can do, our only problem is we’ve stereotyped our minds to believing we can’t achieve the great things we want.
If only we’d do the reverse and make ourselves believe we can go the extra mile, trust me, beyond the skies is our limit! Happy Wednesday folks!
A pastor running an illegal orphanage was apprehended by the Lagos State Government after one of the children in his care fell ill.
It was discovered that Pastor Onoyngu Chibuike’s orphanage was not registered with the Lagos State Government after the hospital requested the medical history of the sick child, The Nation reports.
The discovery led to a raid of the clergyman’s home by the Lagos State Task Force and the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development where the other children were found and then rescued.
Chibuike who is the founder of the Voice of Salvation Charitable Organisation and has been operating the orphanage in Ojo since 2010, stated that he registered it with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in 2010. This was after he reportedly received a divine mandate to start the orphanage 6 years ago and to rescue society’s helpless children.
“I am from Anambra State. I am called by God to render this service to humanity by helping the less privileged, such as widows, motherless children and homeless people. I provide adequate care for these children till their parents can take over their care. For those that were abandoned, I train them even up to university level,” he stated during interrogation.
Explaining how he came about the children whom he confessed were acquired by different means, the pastor explained;
“Some of these children here were brought to me by the police, some were brought by their biological mothers, who in some instances claimed they had the children out of wedlock and they cannot attend to the needs of the children or shoulder their responsibilities.
The Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mrs Uzamat Akinbile Yussuf said disciplinary actions would be taken against the pastor after the conclusion of ongoing investigation citing that ignorance is no excuse under the law.
“When you operate an illegal orphanage in Lagos, it is a criminal offence. Your registration with CAC does not give you any licence to operate an orphanage in Lagos. Here we operate with the law that guides us. Orphanage is not a charitable organization you feel God has guided you to go and assist people.
