Contrary to the societal stereotype, of “weak men cry, strong men don’t”, the real truth is men who give in to and show their emotions are really the strong ones… It’s arguable certainly, but it’s the truth!
Though many men don’t like to give in to their emotions as it’s their nature that it makes them feel “weak”, there are very few men who are actually “weak” and won’t care what others may think in certain situations.
One of these situations is at their weddings – some grooms chuckle, some have straight faces, some wear an uncontrollable grin and some hold nothing back and let those tears down their cheeks!
For real though, it may be during the wedding or after, but a wave of emotion will hit them and cause them to cry because of how blessed they are to have their wife.
Below are 10 beautiful photos of grooms crying at their wedding:

Hardly a week goes by without the Governor of Ekiti state making a controversial statement in public. With the way he seeks controversy you wouldn’t believe if he is a Governor.
Ayo Fayose loves being controversial. He thrives on it. He once appeared in front of the State House of Reps in shorts.
The governor is also a constant thorn in the flesh to President Buhari with his provocative statements. With so much controversy around him, one wonders where he gets the time to govern his state.

Toke Makinwa has really gone through a whole lot.. At the age of 8, the beautiful OAP lost her parents in a house fire.
As an immature teenager, through her twenties, she fell in love with a man who would nearly ruin her life – with a Compromizing Video, side girlfriends.
A man that almost drove her to commit suicide by drinking Dettol after he cheated, got babymama pregnant, their wedding crashed and the story blew into a huge international scandal.
Toke Makinwa now has a soon to be released book – On Becoming in which she shared her incredible survival story and it has been an interesting and eye-opening read so far!
Below are excerpts from the book:
The Discovery
I got on my knees in front of him, my voice calm as I can make it. “Maje, you can’t keep lying. What is going on?
He walks away, leaving me there with my heart in my hands. I see him pacing, like he is having a private conversation. Then all of a sudden, he walks back to the living room, looks straight into my eyes and says, ‘She’s pregnant’.
I fall to the ground. My head….
‘What’s she having?’
‘A boy,’ he says.
‘How long have you known?’
‘I’ve always known…. It was what I thought I wanted,’ he says.
The Wedding
“It was my wedding day. I was happy, yet I was waiting for something to happen. Maje had disappointed me three times before. We would pick a date to go to the wedding registry and he would call it off. It wasn’t until we shared our first dance that I finally believed that it had happened. .
We got back together (after a quarrel because Maje took ‘an ex’ to a party he bluntly told Toke he wasn’t taking her to and he and the ex were ‘touching freely and kissing’)… Maje invited me to Abuja…. As I was putting away my things I saw all kinds of feminine items – earrings on the dresser, sanitary pads in the drawer….”
The Compromizing Video and Bleaching
“At some point while we were dating, Maje had asked if he could tape us having sex. This was a new one for me but I would do anything to keep my man, or so I thought, and so I obliged. But I was nervous afterwards because I didn’t want the tape to get into the wrong hands.
I dragged the file back to his desktop, and I could tell from the stilled image in the video that the person in it was not me. I clicked play and watched horrified as Maje had sex with Anita. Watching that video, all of the inadequacies I thought I had dealt with over the years came rushing back.
I had been with Maje from when I was an immature teenager, through my twenties, and for most of those years, Anita had been the standard I had to live up to. I had lightened my skin at some point – Anita was half Lebanese and half Ibibio, and Maje made me feel like he preferred her lighter skin.”
Another child
“There was a 70-day fasting and prayer programme at my church. I joined in: I was praying for Maje and I. On the final day, I asked God to reveal why Maje and I couldn’t find peace with each other. I opened my email address and typed Maje’s email address in. I went through email after email until I found pictures of a boy that looked exactly like Maje….”
Contemplating Suicide
I was sitting in the bedroom one day. There was a bottle of Dettol in the bathroom and a thought came, very strong,
“Just drink it and die. What’s the point? The whole world is laughing at you right now. Just end it.”
Faith
The devil finds a way to fill your head with lies when you have just gone through a period. These lies can make you question everything, including the very purpose of your existence. Lies like:
‘You’re not good enough’
‘This is the best thing that could have happened to you and now it’s falling apart’
‘This will end you’
When this lies came, God’s word provided a much-needed comfort and a reminder of my identity and His plans for me.
Moving on and Healing
Maje hadn’t made it easy for me to move on. He’d begged like his life depended on me staying….
And then there were the outrageous comments:
‘Maje spent X amount of time with Anita so she wasn’t the mistress, Toke was’
‘She didn’t break your home, you did. You came between two people who loved each other by marrying him’.
…. That day’s topic was about making marriage work, and it hit me so hard that I cried like a baby. I wasn’t a virtuous woman; I was a girl! A girl with a daddy-void so large that she had all of her issues and expectations on a man who was still trying to discover his purpose.
All my mistakes became clear to me. I hadn’t lost my marriage to another woman. I had given my marriage to her.
While I’m not sure if I’ll find love again, I am sure of the contentment I have found in a God who’s got my back 100%.
So our dauntless Burna Boy seems to be in the news again as a graphic designer took to Twitter to put the music star on full blast after he allegedly used his art work without payment.
According to Chukwubuikem, the singer’s management approached his brother & his company to do full stage art work for them to use for @essencefest in Durban, after the concept document & bill was prepared & sent to the singer, his management stopped picking phone calls & replying emails.
Next thing they saw, an inverted version of the image was used as the singer’s Instagram photograph. Not only that, the artiste & his management blew up the image and used it as the stage mural for his performance in @essencefest Durban. Chukwubuikem is now seeking justice.

Here’s how Vanguard is reporting it:
A Lagos State Magistrate’s Court sitting in Ikeja, yesterday, remanded in Kirikiri Prison, Seun Egbegbe, former boyfriend to actress and social media celebrity, Toyin Aimakhu, for alleged theft of 10 pieces of iPhones.
Seun was arraigned before Magistrate Y. O. Aje-Afunwa, on one count charge of theft slammed against him by the police. Seun, who pleaded not guilty when the charge was read to him, was alleged to have committed the offence at the Computer Village, Ikeja, where he requested for the phones.
The police prosecution told the court that the incident occurred while the sales girl was trying to calculate the items Seun requested for, but that he allegedly ran out of the shop with the phones and tried to board a waiting vehicle.
The sales girl allegedly raised the alarm, which attracted other traders in the market. He was eventually caught and beaten to a pulp before the police intervened and rescued him.
The presiding magistrate, Aje-Afunwa, granted him N1 million bail and two sureties in like sum. He was ordered to be remanded in Kirikiri pending when he would fulfill his bail conditions.
A mild drama, however, played out outside the court as Seun’s supporters threatened to beat up journalists if they took the accused pictures. It took the intervention of police and court orderlies, who sent the rowdy mob out of the court premises, to save the situation.
While journalists waited to take Seun’s picture, his family members colluded with prison warders to sneak him out of the court premises through the back door into a waiting prison vehicle.

A man has been arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stabbing his neighbour, Emeka Ofoke, with a knife on his manhood in Awori – Dopemu, Agege area of Lagos State.
The prosecutor, Insp Nwosu George, told the court that the accused committed the offence on November 17 at his residence.
The 32-year-old man, Obed Fwoms, who is standing trial on a one-count charge of wounding and similar acts, unlawfully assaulted Ofoke by stabbing him with a knife on his manhood.
George said:
“Ofoke said that he was coming from work when he saw other tenants in the compound gathering around Fwoms.
The complainant said he asked one of his neighbours what had happened and he was told that Fwoms damaged the ceiling of the house to connect electricity supply without informing others.
Ofoke, who confronted the accused on what he had done, told him it was only a thief that would damage the ceiling of the house without informing other tenants.
He said the accused, who was annoyed about the statement, brought out a knife from his pocket and stabbed his manhood with it.
The complainant said he was quickly rushed to the hospital by his neighbours who were at the scene of the incident and the case was reported to the police, which led to the arrest of the accused person.

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, says his war of words with businessman, Jimoh Ibrahim, will not end on the internet.
Fani-Kayode has threatened to deal with Ibrahim, when they see “eyeball to eyeball”.
Both men exchanging banter on social media, after the Court of Appeal sacked Ibrahim and reinstated Eyitayo Jegede as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Fani-Kayode mocked Jimoh for losing his appeal at the Supreme Court, before taking the advice of his followers to end the exchange.
Some of his tweets below:
“I have given Jimoh the pig enough of my time. I will tell him the rest face to face whenever and wherever I see him. I look forward to that.
“Finally I hear that Jimoh the pig just lost his appeal at the Supreme Court and that he has been referred back to the Court of Appeal. Poor little piggy. We better leave him alone. He has far more to worry about now than my tweets. As promised when I see him eyeball to eyeball we shall continue this. That is a date and a promise that I will most certainly keep.
“Out of deferrence to my followers I have decided not to continue to engage Jimoh the pig any further. Thanks for your concern. Shalom.”
The Christian Post reported that romleigh McCleneghan said single Christians can have sex as long as it’s mutually pleasurable and affirming.
In her book, the pastor says no one should be forced to abstain if they find themselves single by circumstance.
McCleneghan backs up her argument saying single Christians don’t need to abstain from sex to remain pure since being chaste is all about moderation.
The pastor who is a married mother of three argues that single people can be faithful in unmarried sexual relationships if they exercise restraint.
McCleneghan believes it’s unfair to ask single Christians who haven’t been called to a life of celibacy to refrain from sexual intimacy when both men and women need sex.
If we refrain from having sex that isn’t mutually pleasurable and affirming, that doesn’t respect the sacred worth of ourselves and our partners,” she explained.
The pastor teachings are contrary to many Christian teachings which mainly urge single individuals to abstain until marriage and go against the Christian tradition that advises against extra-marital sex.
Sex outside marriage is viewed as a sin, that will lead anyone to hell.
18 year old Falconets defender, Mary Ologbosere has been referred to the traumatic unit of a hospital in Abuja after she suffered from depression following the inability of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to pay the players what was due to them, after they arrived from the U-20 World Cup in Papua New Guinea.
The defender who lost her father while the Falconets were at the World Cup said the entire family were depending on her to return form the game so they could bury their dad.
However, after their return from the World Cup Wednesday afternoon, they were all shocked to have received a miserly N10,000 and instructed to return to their homes.
A shocked Ologbosere cried all through the night and had to be rushed to the hospital as a result, where she is now receiving treatment at the traumatic unit.
A team official at the Serob Legacy Hotel where the football players were lodged said:
“She is totally shattered by this heartless treatment,” It’s truly a pathetic case’.
The 10,000 Naira paid to each player is reportedly, the only money they received from the NFF since they opened training camp for the World Cup earlier this year.
The team vowed not to leave the hotel they were booked into until they receive the correct amount due to them.

Business came to a halt in the CBD as a man who looked like Jesus was spotted along Moi Avenue in Kenya on Wednesday evening.
Dressed in a long rob, the long-haired, thick-bearded ‘Jesus’ drew people’s attention as he made his way barefoot through the street.
His appearance resembled that of the Western image of Jesus Christ that has been etched in popular culture.
Kenyans on Twitter used the hashtag #JesusInNairobi to share their excitement, with many posting selfies they took with the unidentified man.
While some other kenyans felt the attention given to the look alike wasn’t necessary, see some reactions below:
The couple in the photo above, on Tuesday morning committed suicide in Githurai area, Nairobi and left a note requesting they be buried together.
It is believed that the wife committed suicide first. The man called his brother and informed him that his wife had committed suicide and he needed to be in the house soonest.
“After calling his brother he committed suicide, by the time his brother arrived at the house, he found his body hanging next to that of the wife,” Kiambu OCPD Duncan Ngutu said.
According to The StarKenya, the couple who had two young children had reportedly been embroiled in domestic quarrels.
However Ngutu said they suspect the man might have killed the woman before committing suicide. The bodies were moved to the mortuary.
A 48-year old woman, Mrs Onyekachi Chukwu was on Wednesday dumped in a prison custody after she went to the police to stand as surety for her husband, Francis Chukwu who have abandoned her and their six children and fled.
According to P.M.EXPRESS, Mrs Onyekachi’s trouble started after her husband, Francis Chukwu was arrested for committing a criminal offence and was detained by the police at Area M Police Command, Idimu.
The Enugu State-born Francis allegedly obtained some money from Raphael Chimaobi Ndunagu under the false pretence and escaped.
The matter was reported to the police who trailed and eventually arrested and detained him at the station. Onyekachi, the wife went to the police and asked the police to release him to her and she stood as surety. She promised to bring her any time the police asked him to do so.
However, when Francis was released, he abandoned his wife and their six children and fled and asked the wife to sort herself in the station.
the police requested Onyekachi to produce Francis, she told them that he ran away after she was released from the station. She said she had made every efforts to bring him back and that he has even abandoned her and the children.
When the police could not bear the excuses any longer, she was arrested and charged to court. At the Isolo Magistrate’s court where she was arraigned, she pleaded not guilty.
The presiding Magistrate, Mrs J.O Adedayo granted her bail in the sum of N200,000 with one surety. She was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail condition. The matter was adjourned till 9 February 2016.
When accosted and asked her about her husband, she replied that he has abandoned her to her fate and refused to show up.
An elderly woman last Sunday gave a shocking confession that she had intercourse with her own son as part of rituals for witchcraft.
The granny, whose name could not be identified, made the confessions at Zimbabwean Prophet Sham Hungwe’s House of Grace International Ministries during a church service.
She also confessed to practicing witchcraft saying she ‘ate’ more than 70 people, including her own daughters and other close relatives.
“I took my son’s virginity. I had sex with my own son sometime ago. I had no option since it was part of the rituals,” she told hundreds of congregants.
“I have been practicing witchcraft for a long time and I ate more than 70 people. I also killed my own daughters and I am responsible for my children’s misfortunes,” she said.
According to H-metro, the woman, who is from Murewa, was accompanied by her relatives saying she had come to seek deliverance. Prophet Hungwe, who once grabbed local headlines saying he has powers to kill witches, prayed for the woman and declared her deliverance.
Not less than 24,890 Lagosians have been tested positive to the dreaded HIV disease within 18 months in Lagos, Southwest Nigeria, says the Lagos State Government.
While 15,311 Lagosians tested positive to HIV in 2015, another 9,579 others tested positive to the disease between January and June 2016.

“In the year 2015, a total number of 599, 560 people were counselled, tested and received results out of which 15, 311 were found to be positive. In 2016 (1st Semester January to June), 616, 318 people were counselled, tested and received results out of which 9,579 individual were found to be positive. Well, this is what happens whenever a man and woman engages in sexual intercourse, according to Ik Ogbonna.
“Each time a man connects with a woman se.xually and releases his life form energy within her, he leaves a part of his information (DNA) in her birth canal.
If she doesn’t clean herself, his energy remain inside of her. That imprint can often create illusional s.exual addiction to the individual.
When someone decides to have multiple partners, it can sometimes send mixed emotional signals within the inside of the body’s vibration system.
Women must be careful of different energies or spiritual forces polluting their internal temple. You are a sacred doorway, where life is intended to pass through, respect yourself, use ur gifts wisely!
Just think about it and ask yourself… Ever wonder why they call it s.exual intercourse (INTER-Course)? It’s an inter(nal) course that unites man and woman, mind with mind, spirit with spirit, or energy with energy. This is something that a condom can’t protect you against because energy is behind d elements of all flesh.
There is no such thing as “Casual” Se.x or “Friends with Benefits”… No, No, No, I Don’t Think So!!! In.timate activity intricately entwines d energies between 2 people.
S.ex creates a powerful exchange of energy between those involved. These connections, imprints and debris are left upon the mind, soul and spirit for a long time because they are not easily purged or cleansed.
‘Casual se.x’ with multiple partners can intertwine the energies and spirits of a lot of people into your own aura if they are not severed and cleansed. You become joined to every person with whom your partner has slept, as well as all the partners those people had.
This type of “soul clutter” can be felt by your partner’s subconscious. Even if they are not completely in tune or aware of the extra-curricular s.exual activities, they still are able to sense the subtle disturbances of multiple energies and/or familiar spirits that have entered causing restlessness and inner turmoil.
The longer and more intimate the contact with another person, the more powerful the reinforcement and the interaction of the bond becomes, and all the more difficult it is for them to untangle and leave. #P.A”

The founder and General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, is on the verge of losing the vast land on which his MFM Prayer City sits.
According to Sahara Reporters:
A court ruling delivered on 12 May by Justice A.A Akinyemi of the Abeokuta Division of the High Court of Ogun State stated that the Adejonlu family are the bonafide owners of the land on which the famous crusade and camp ground sits in the Ogun State section
along the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway.
This implies that Mr. Olukoya’s church had bought the land from, and paid, the wrong people.
Ownership dispute over the the land began in 2003 and took the form of litigation via two different cases (Suit Nos. AB/60/2003 and AB/61/2003) between the Adejonlu and Oduleye families.
Justice Akinyemi’s ruling declared the Adejonlu family genuine owners of the land situated in Magada, Obafemi/Owode Local Government Area, and that they are entitled to the right of occupancy over the land.
Following the ruling handing ownership and right of occupancy to the Adejonlu family, their lawyer, Mr. R. O. Sadik, said he wrote many letters to Mr. Olukoya for negotiation and settlement. Mr. Sadik said he took the steps because of the profile of the pastor and his church.
One of the letters, was dated 7 July and signed by one Miss Lateefa Sadik for Mr. Sadik’s chambers. The letter recalled a meeting held between the legal firm and MFM representatives led by one Pastor Alewi.
The letter then proceeded with demands by the land owners. Notably, the landowners requested the church, assisted by their lawyers, to determine the size and portion of their land on which MFM Prayer City sits.
The letter also demanded a payment of N5million per plot to cover the acreage that would be agreed on by the land owners and the church.
Similarly, the letter demanded the immediate payment of 40 per cent of the total cost of the acreage agreed upon.
But these demands, Mr. Sadik said, have been met with indifference. According to him, Mr. Olukoya is unwilling to negotiate with the landowners. He, however, warned that the owners are keen on enforcing the court ruling and taking full possession of the land.
“We have written to Dr. Olukoya over 10 times, and it is like he is not ready for settlement. He set up a committee, which was headed by Pastor Alewi, to look into the matter and our follow-up investigation shows that the report of the committee has got to Dr. Olukoya.
But we have not heard any positive comment from him. In fact, his body language does not suggest he is ready to pay any money for the land belonging to my client,” Mr. Sadik said.
He explained that he met with representatives of the church on 8 October, but Mr. Olukoya was not at the meeting.
“Presently, we are the practical owners of the land, according to the judgment delivered by the Court, but the pastor is unlawfully and illegally using it and selling part of it thereby making money off us while we are not getting anything,” alleged Mr. Sadik.
Another party to the matter, Chief Gbolahan Timson (Oba Jagunmolu of Shomolu/Bariga), said he was disappointed by Mr. Olukoya’s conduct all through the time of litigation. He also claimed that Mr. Olukoya went back on his promise and his failure to act is affecting the family members.
“The Oduleye family were so greedy, and they were bent on taking over our land. For this reason, they went ahead sue us. We were served the court letter right in the office of Dr. Olukoya, and he said good luck to the winner and that he would settle whoever won the case. He made that statement when the case started 13 years ago. Now that we have won, he decided not to pay us.
We explained to him that he paid the wrong party and he should pay our family who are the real owners of the land but he has refused,” he said.
He added that Mr. Olukoya is saddened that he may have to pay more for the land. According to Chief Timson, the landowners gave a figure to the church.
After receipt of the sum demanded, the General Overseer is not happy with us winning as he is going set up a committee to look into the case, but the committee came up with a much lower sum.
“From the information I got, he wanted to pay the money twice. But now, he is saying he is not paying us any money. I want to get people to talk to him so as to avoid unnecessary rancor like what is happening now. We cannot fight a battle for 13 years and still be begging for our right after winning. The court has declared us winner and the order of the court must be obeyed no matter who you are and what you do for a living,” he said.
