The grateful Nollywood actress just revealed how her electric power generator exploded and the resulting fire almost razed down her car. She said:
“The enemies have failed again. ThankGod for life. This is what happens when you have a lazy gateman ,he was putting fuel in a generator while on and it exploded and caught my car.
What stopped him from putting the generator off before putting the fuel?I was lucky we were able to put it off otherwise the fuel tank would have exploded. It s well.. No one should put fuel while an engine or generator is running, this gateman was lucky to eacape he would have been completely burnt.

Doctors at Araba Medical Hospital in Abule-Egba area of Lagos are trying their best on a newly-wedded woman, who was allegedly stabbed many times by her landlord’s son for allowing a man, considered as an enemy of the landlord, into her apartment at Ishaga Street.
The visitor was said to have been banned from entering the house by the landlord.
The victim, Mrs. Taiwo Kehinde, however, expressed gratitude to God for bringing her out of coma. According to her, “my landlord’s son, Jimoh Yusuf, attacked me right inside my apartment with broken bottles. My sin was that my husband allowed one of his friends into our apartment.
“I was returning from my shop last Friday, when I met this family friend, Monday Michael, who lives opposite us. He told me to leave the house that my husband and our landlord’s son were quarrelling. “I decided to go inside and change into something else. The family friend left for his house, while I entered our apartment. “I was trying to change my wears when Jimoh barged inside and started shouting.
He said ‘I have told you and your husband that I don’t want to see that man (family friend) anywhere close to this house. But you wouldn’t obey. I am going to kill you before your husband comes back’. “Before I knew it, he broke the bottles in his hands and started stabbing me all over my body, until I passed out. This is not the first time he has beaten me. I am not his wife, neither am I related to him.” Genesis Her husband, Mayowa Kehinde, traced the genesis of his problem with the suspect to the visit of Michael, few hours before his wife was attacked.
He said: “My friend, Monday, came to visit me that day. But when my landlord saw him, he ordered him to leave his house, even when I tried to explain that he was my visitor and that we have known each other long before I moved into his house. “I reluctantly saw my friend off at about 9p.m. By then, my wife was not back. On my way back, I was welcomed with shouts by my neighbours to quickly rush in, that Jimoh wanted to kill my wife. “When I rushed inside, my wife was in a pool of her blood, while Jimoh still held onto the broken bottles. I held him as he tried to escape from the scene, while a woman rushed to the police station to report the incident the matter.”
Neighbours’ reaction
When Vanguard visited the couple’s residence, neighbours alleged that the suspect was always attacking them, particularly the women. One of them, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said: “We have suffered untold pains in the hands of Jimoh but this is the height. “The most painful aspect of it is that his parents are always supporting him. If you attempt to call the police, they will threaten to issue you quit notice.”
And it’s another boy for Bovi Ugboma and his lovely wife Kris! The lovely welcomed a bouncing baby boy in the US, while the comedian is on tour with his comic partner, Basketmouth, overseas.
The lovely couple got married in 2007 and already have 2 kids, this making it the third.
Oh! You can’t tell me you’ve forgotten the goldsmith so quickly?! When they were both dating, we certainly couldn’t get enough of them… but then came Mr X, the mystery man who not only put a ring on her finger but also put a baby in her!!
Well, it was all over social media, when the actress showed off the exotic gifts her husband presented to her, and there has been nothing but envy for the actress as the gift is one too exotic in this hard recession times.
Someone who seems not so envious but rather boastful is her ex, Malivelihood, who subtly shaded her on his Snapchat… Hours ago, he flaunted off some gold chains and watches and captioned one which was worn by a girl with:
“Her wristwatch can easily buy your Lexus car. Twice!!! $129,000”
Now we are not sure who he girl is but last we checked he was dating Deola Smart, the daughter of a Kogi district senator.
A Kano-based Islamic scholar, Mallam Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, has called on banned Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau not to honour the invitation extended to her to visit the Hollywood in Los Angeles, USA.
In an open letter he wrote to Rahama on Facebook in Hausa, Mallam Daurawa described the problem the actress had with Kanywood as trial from God to test her faith.
He added that Islam agrees with people being told to mend their ways when they make mistake.
He also suggested that marriage would be better for the actress.
Rahama Sadau was suspended from Kannywood after the release of a music video in which she hugged the musician Classiq.
After her suspension, US-based singer Akon and movie producer Jeta Amata extended an invitation to her to visit the set of their new movie in Hollywood, USA.
WhatsApp is the default app for messaging globally. A few years ago it knocked off BBM as the world’s leading app for sending instant messages and it has not looked back ever since.
While WhatsApp is the coolest app for sending and receiving instant messages on your mobile phone, communicating with your friends and sharing photos and videos, it can also be frustrating.
If you WhatsApp frequently there are some instances that would frustrate you or put you off.
These instances have nothing to do with the app itself but the person you are chatting with.
There are common methods in which people dull conversations which you must have fallen for over the years. Below is a list of annoying things that happens when chatting on Whatsapp.
1) Monosyllabic replies
Don’t you just hate it when someone replies all your messages with just one word ‘yes’ or ‘no’.
It feels like you are being stylishly brushed away. It hurts the most when you type your heart out and all you get is a damning yes or no.
It’s like being told to shut up with manners.

“Don’t put plaster on what needs surgery” it’s such a great day to be alive and behold the goodness of God. Remember that you cannot filter reality So remain true to yourself and don’t covet the seeming perfect lives you see on social media. People have scars that are masked . People put a plaster on what needs surgery. Live life on your own terms. It’s ok not to have it all figured out.
Now I’m beginning to fear women by the day… Guys, be weary and don’t carry your pillar and stones, looking to erect it anywhere you deem fit… This recession has made women not to smile anymore!!
From the context of the screenshot, it’s self explanatory what’s going on in the conversation… See below:
Please… where’s the romance?! I’m looking for it but I can’t seem to find it… This is the most hilarious wedding photo I’ve ever seen… Someone is in dire pain of leather shoes soles on his back and you’re saying it’s romantic… Hehe… The money you’re paying had better be romantic too!
What ever happened to a stool?! It just had to be a human… Lol… People are saying the incident took place in Ghana…and oh well! What more can we say?! Congratulations to the couple?!
And by the way, I was being sarcastic when I said it “melted hearts” cause it didn’t rather it made it beat faster with laughter!
This is the heartfelt moment when Rebecca Ishaku, one of the 57 girls who had initially escaped from Boko Haram captivity in 2014, dances for joy as she watches her school mates reuniting with their family.
In an interview with BBC, Ishaku said that she was very happy when she heard of the return of 21 girls.
“I was very happy; that day was a day of joy and happiness for me to have my friends back,” she said.
“At some point, I thought they would never come back… that maybe they have been killed by now, but I dreamt that they came back.”
Ishaku was among the students who were originally kidnapped in April 2014 but she managed to escape from their abductors after she jumped off a truck hours after the ordeal.
In the clip, she jumps and dances, and constantly points to the televesion, exclaiming “see them!”

A 32-year-old woman identified as Grace Nyaguthii, who recently walked out on an abusive relationship and took her 4-year-old son with her, has narrated her bitter encounter from her bed at the Nairobi Women’s Hospital, with her eyes swollen shut after she was stalked and beaten to a pulp by her ex, saying that she never expected to find herself in a hospital.
She wrote;
“It wasn’t the first time; I had left before, but was sweet-talked into returning. I did so mainly because of our child. I did not want my son to grow up without a father. But the breaking point came when I realised there was more harm being done when I saw he was fearful in his own home. But leaving hardly ever gives one a clean break.”
According to MediaMax Network, weeks, months, and even years later, Grace was still dealing with her ex, who was still calling her and showing up at the places she would go.
“We both lived in South B, Nairobi, so it was easy for him to find me,” she says. In fear, Grace moved to Nanyuki town with her son to get away from him. Last year, she came back to Nairobi to start a business and the harassment continued.
“At this point, I had learnt how to deal with him. I could never tell him ‘no’ outright because it would aggravate him. Instead, when we talked I would lie and promise that one day we would reunite as a family. The guise of friendship placated him and allowed me a bit of peace.”
The situation took a bad turn last week, when in the midst of planning for her grandmother’s funeral, Boss, as he is known by his friends, found out where Grace lived.
“He came at 5.30am on the day of the burial after a night of drinking. He was to attend the funeral as well. Badging into my house, he moved around in a craze. He was surprised to see that I had moved on and was living well without him. I was in a hurry to leave as I had to go to the mortuary and told him so,” she narrates.
He responded with a hard back-hand slap.
“You’re telling me what to do because I’m in your house,” he asked her. Enraged, he proceeded to push her until she fell on her bed, sat on her chest and rained blows on her face.
“He choked me as he beat me so that I couldn’t scream, saying he was going to kill me. He kept hitting and hitting, and I realised that the more I fought to get away, the harder the blows came. So, I decided to play dead. This saved my life,” says Grace.
Contented that he had accomplished his mission, Boss ransacked her things, took the money she had and even her new clothes for the funeral, and left.
Grace on a hospital bed nursing extensive wounds, having just regained her eyesight as the beatings caused her face to swell so much, her eyes could not open, is angry, hurt, and wants justice, not just for her, but all other women who are going through what she has.

When Maria Grette first discovered that the 58-year-old Danish man with whom she had fallen in love was actually a 24-year-old Nigerian 419 internet scammer, the 62-year-old Swede was distraught. But, soon, her feelings changed.
“The most terrible thing was not that he had cheated me, but that he had lost his innocence,” she said.
She became consumed with what she describes as “a profound need to make a difference to the people of Nigeria”.
Ms Grette’s relationship with Johnny (not his real name) began after an evening of fun and games with her girlfriends, during which they playfully created a profile for her on an online dating website.
A few years before, she had gone through a traumatic divorce, and her friends teased her about finally starting a new relationship.
But when the fun of creating her profile was over, Ms Grette, who works as an arts teacher, painter and arts therapist, didn’t give much further thought to the website.
“I received messages telling me that people had contacted me, but I never looked at them,” she said.
Then, one day, she did.
“I still don’t know why,” she said. “It was like a sudden impulse happening before I could stop it.”
That particular message was from a man who described himself as a Dane raised in South Carolina, USA; a civil engineer working on a contract in England; a widower with a son in a Manchester university.
“I was caught up by the atmosphere and by something in his words,” she said.
Grey line
The pre-amble
Johnny: “I wish I could see through your eyes and see what you like to see”
Maria: “I like to see the truth, and often the truth is more beautiful and greater than people dare to realize”
Johnny: “You talk in parable´s. I can´t wait to see you”
Maria: “I cant understand how you can think so dedicated of me, when you have never met me. That scares me.”
Grey line.
“We spent some time writing, then he called from a UK number.”
Ms Grette, who had lived in different countries across Europe, was surprised that she could not place the man’s accent. She mentioned this to him but didn’t give it too much thought.
He told her that he was planning for his retirement; had Sweden in mind for a place to settle; owned a house in Denmark inherited from his parents; wanted to leave that to his son, Nick, who was very attached to it, while he looked for a new home for himself in Sweden.
“I wanted to meet him because I liked him,” she said. “He had a way and a sweetness I had never known in a man before. And he was innocent in a way that puzzled me.”
Ms Grette put all these qualities down to “an old fashioned upbringing and an isolated life – living in hotels and spending his free time on golf courses owing to much travelling”.
After three months of communicating, the man agreed to come over and visit her in Sweden. But before that, he and his son needed to make a quick trip to Nigeria for a job interview, he said.
Johnny called to let her know that he was at Heathrow Airport. And to say that he had landed in Nigeria. He also got her to speak with Nick. The next phone call was to tell her that he was in a Lagos hospital.
They had been mugged, his son shot in the head, and they were without money and papers.
Unfortunately, his bank did not have a branch in Africa, he added, so it would take time to transfer money from his UK account. Meanwhile, the hospital management was requesting €1000 to proceed with treatment.
The request
“Honey, I am in the hospital right now using the doctor´s laptop to send you this message so you can know my situation. Honey, if Nick dies I will also die with him, I have been crying, I wish I could call you, I wish I never came here, I will never forgive myself for bringing Nick along with me. I will call you with the doctor´s phone and send you an email later if I have the chanse.
“Honey, I am happy to hear from you and I am still at the hospital. The doctor said we where lucky we where not kidnapped. The bank does not have a location in Africa, so it will take time to get money and the management are requesting 1000 euros to proceed with treatment. Nick is all I have got and I will not forgive myself if anything happens to him. I am confused, and I do not know where to turn at the moment……”
“I will never forget how I rushed to the Western Union office, trembling while I did the transfer,” Ms Grette said.
“All I could think of was to get the two persons in Nigeria out of danger.”
The plot developed after that initial transfer. Medical complications called for more money. The doctors demanded more advance fees. Several thousands of euro later, in what she describes as “coming to her senses”, Maria realised that something was amiss.
She stopped responding to his messages.
Three weeks after her silence, he called her and confessed. He told her that he was not who she thought he was.
“I said I already knew that. I asked him to tell me his true identity and he did.”
He was a 24-year-old Nigerian 419 scammer. He had finished university two years earlier but had no job. He further described himself as a “devil” who had wronged “a lovely woman”.
“He said he had never met anyone like me before, that he had been fighting his feelings for me for a long time. He said his scamming mates had warned him about falling in love with a ‘client’, that he had ignored them because he trusted me and did not want to lose contact with me.”
The reveal
From this point on, their communication took a new turn. There were no further requests for cash.
“The attraction I started feeling was to the person who was revealing himself to me… It was still him, but with a new name and different age and circumstances,” she said. Johnny sent her a photograph of himself, but Maria was not satisfied with that.
“I wanted to meet him,” she said. “I could not live with this relationship unless it was adjusted to reality in all senses.”
Unable to get him a visa to travel to Sweden, she made up her mind to go to Nigeria. In October 2009, Ms Grette travelled to Africa for the first time in her life.
“When I saw him at the airport in Abuja, tears fell over his face, and I knew I had known him all my life.”
Ms Grette described her two weeks in Nigeria as blissful, a period during which she and Johnny succeeded in transforming their romantic feelings for each other into a good friendship.
She met his friends, many of whom were also scammers. It was while enjoying their company one night in a local bar that she began to wonder how she could make a difference.
“I asked myself what I could do to prevent a situation where healthy, good young men fall into this trap,” she said.
An idea came to her two years later, in 2011, after she saw an article on a Nigerian news website about an arts exhibition.
Over the past six years, Ms Grette has arranged for a number of African artists to visit Europe for arts exhibitions, workshops, conferences and competitions.
She has assisted them to source international grants and other funding to advance their work. She has also visited Uganda to give talks on art, and is looking forward to another visit to Nigeria scheduled for later this year.
Ms Grette, now 69 and living in Norway, is elated at the opportunity to improve the lives of these young artists.
“Johnny has given me more than he took,” she said, “Without him, I would not have met Africa.”
When she’d visited him in Abuja, Johnny promised Ms Grette that he would give up scamming. With her assistance, he left Nigeria shortly afterwards, to study in America.
Although they have not met each other again since, she continued to provide him with financial assistance until he completed his degree a few years ago and got a job in the American oil sector.
They still communicate frequently, updating themselves on each other’s lives; and last year, he bought one of her paintings which she shipped over to him in America.
“He is very dear to me,” she said.
“He has asked me so many times to forgive him and I told him that the most important thing is to forgive himself.”
A mother and father in Brazil discovered heart-breaking sketches drawn by their five-year-old girl showing how she was allegedly sexually abused by a priest.
Father Joao da Silva, 54, is said to have admitted the attack after the child’s furious father confronted him in the city of Montes Claros, in Minas Gerais in Brazil.
The girl’s parents found the sketches after their daughter suddenly refused to attend any more of da Silva’s English classes, local media reported.
She was so distraught that they took her to a child psychologist who suspected sexual abuse and urged her parents to search her room for any signs.
Hidden among her books they found six heartbreaking drawings by their daughter detailing the sexual abuse. One drawing shows a man apparently looming over a child who has a look of abject terror on her face.
Another harrowing image apparently shows a girl lying on a bed with a man forcing himself between her legs. Underneath him the picture appears to show the girl screaming in either fear or agony.
When the father confronted the priest in a phone call, he told police, the cleric confessed to him, according to local media.
Karine Maia, from the Delegation for Stopping Crimes Against Women pressure group, told local media: ‘We found six drawings among the child’s belongings.’
Police say the priest is in custody being interviewed over child abuse allegations.
A star-crossed lover went to great lengths when she rather than just go through her boyfriend’s phone like regular person, hired a porn star Valerie White to essentially honey-trap him.
The entire debacle was caught on To Catch a Cheater and documented how it unravelled, rather spectacularly.
Initially, the boyfriend had no interest in Valerie’s charms, and did not respond to her flirtations. However, he did eventually politely offer to help her, as she seemed “lost“.
Tenacious Valerie kept gunning for his phone number, and asked him if he had a girlfriend. The poor man admitted that he was seeing someone, and innocently suggested they could all get together and hang out.
Flustered by Valerie clearly insinuating she’d be up for a cheeky ménage à trois, the man left the scene after asking her why she was interested in him.
As for the girlfriend who set up the whole thing…
She admitted to “feeling crazy” and “mixed feelings” about her boyfriend giving the porn star his number and added how she hated her for pursuing her boyfriend.
She finally relents: “Okay, okay. I’m not going to break up with him but I don’t like that he got her number and said he would hang out.”
Moments later, she’s all smiles as she gives her man a call, but she hadn’t counted on how he’d react. He dumped her immediately for doubting him and questioning their trust so publically.
He tells her he’s done, hangs up on her, as she’s left saying:
“Are you f***ing kidding me? That’s how he breaks up with me after a f***ing year?”
Saudi Arabia has executed one of its own young princes for the first time in 40 years, sending what analysts described as a “strong message” to younger royals that they are not above the law.
Prince Turki bin Saud bin Turki bin Saud al-Kabeer was beheaded on Tuesday afternoon for murder after he shot another young man during a brawl at a desert camp in 2012.
His death sentence was confirmed by a royal decree issued by King Salman himself, who is a distant cousin of the executed man.
While criminal acts committed by Saudi royals are sometimes censored, the execution of Prince Turki was widely reported through the state media.
The interior ministry released a statement saying the royal death was proof of the government’s commitment to “implement the rules of Allah everywhere and against anyone who kills civilians and commits bloodshed”.
The prince, who was in his twenties, was one of an estimated 6,000 Saudi royals. He hailed from the al-Kabeer branch of the family, which is not directly in line to throne but nonetheless holds a prominent position with Saudi Arabia’s complex constellation of royalty.
Prince Turki was arrested after killing Abdul Karim Mohaimeed in December 2012, according to Saudi media reports. Another man was injured in the shooting.
The two young men were involved in a fight at a desert camp where many young Saudis go to drive their cars and get away from their parents.
According to one report, the prince became enraged after an argument and went to his Lexus and returned with a Glock pistol. He killed Mr Mohaimeed and injured another man.
The execution came a few weeks after King Salman gave a high-profile address in which he declared that no member of the royal family, including himself, was immune from prosecution or lawsuits in the civil courts.
This lady was forced to seek advice from people through a publication, because she dreads the intimate part of her marriage may come to an end.
This reader’s letter is a special one. Please, read it carefully and share your insights with the woman. She is eager to receive help!
“My husband and I have been together for four years and our marriage has been good to say the least apart from one disturbing thing.
For about a year now, he keeps telling me that I always have a funny smell. Sometimes I can detect a distant smell but he makes it sound really bad to the extent that we no longer have foreplay during sex.
I have tried everything including using roll on and I shower every day, but he says the smell is still there. I am very embarrassed by this and have even lost self-confidence since I cannot help but wonder how many other people actually pick up the smell.
I don’t know what to do about this but I’m worried our intimacy is headed south, please help me.”

A rather confused lady sent this quite interesting story to Socialite and psychologist, Joro Olumofin and according to her, she has never had any reason to doubt her boyfriend until a “razz” girl started calling and chatting her up to leave ‘her boyfriend‘ or she will expose her and send her nudes to blogs.
Read the story she sent in below with screenshots from their chat:
“I’m in shock!!!! And I need advise from strangers on this issue. I won’t lie, I love him regardless. I’ve been trying to reach him but his phone is unavailable.
I just moved back to Nigeria not up to 8 months now, I met this guy who has been supportive to me. His name is chudi, I thought he was different for an Igbo guy, he’s sweet and caring. We started dating, I’ve taken to meet my family, he has taken me to meet his elder sister and his mom too. Everything seemed cool, he doesn’t have passwords to his phone, he seem really legit. Like I won’t lie at all. I’ve never suspected he had someone else.
I received the shocker of my life when I received a message from this rude obviously razz yoruba lady claiming to be Chudi’s girlfriend. I’ve researched this girl, the chudi I know won’t even look at her talkless of dating her or anything. She threatened me and called me all sorts of names. She said they have been dating for 2 years or so. She said she will expose me to all the blogs in Lagos.
I’m so confused, I haven’t spoken to him. But a part of me is not bothered about the outcome, I love him either way. I feel I should fight for him.
The thought of me being a sidechick is hurtful giving that my last relationship ended badly, my ex left me for another girl after he took me ring sight-seeing / shopping.
Please I need advise Joro. What should I do? What should I ask chudi? This girl has called my phone ? 34 times! I’m not even joking. She’s claiming to have my nudes and release them. I’m new in Lagos. What should I do? Find attached some of our chats”
